All Might watched as the golden man fell from the sky.

Well that wasn't quite correct, he saw the golden man fall from the sky, but he couldn't say he was the one watching. After all, he wasn't in control of his own body right now.

This morning he had been going through his routine getting ready to meet up with Hawkeye only for a portal to open up next to him and for something to seize control of his body. What had followed had been the most intense fight of his life.

As he watched the golden man hit the ground he wondered what was going to happen next. He hoped that whoever was controlling him was a hero. The golden man was a force of destruction the likes of which he had never even seen before. Multiple times he had been made to pull people through portals seconds before the golden beams had reduced cities to ashes. Fighting him was necessary, but what would happen next?

Would his captor release him? Send him back to his home? Japan had to be in chaos from this fight. He needed to go back, be the Symbol of Peace for them so they would feel safe. Or would they keep him and all the other heroes he saw around him. An army with to rule. If it was the latter he did not know what opposition he could hope to provide.

Moments later he got his answer. All of the portals he could see winked shut, and his body came back under his own control. Beside him he saw the young man he had been carrying around as he shot lasers at the golden man collapsed on the ground. He turned to the young hero and asked, "Could you please tell me what is going on?"

The boy turned to him and answered in English, "I don't know that language."

All Might gave his best smile, "Not a problem. I was wondering if you know what is going on?"

The hero looked puzzled, "You don't know about Gold Morning?" All Might shook his head and the hero continued, "A couple of days ago Scion went mad and destroyed the British Isles. Then some PRT bitch showed up at my prison and told us that any parahuman who helped fight him would have all their crimes pardoned. I figured I didn't have anything to lose, but it was a disaster. I was hiding out with my team on an Earth he had already left behind, but then those portals started appearing and that fucking Master took control of me."

All Might did not know how to respond. The British Isles were destroyed a week ago? Hiding out on another Earth? His confusion must have shown on his face, "Hey man, I'm really not the person to ask. The Protectorate is probably going to take charge of this mess soon, maybe they will be able to help you."

"Well thank you anyway. I'll ask this Protectorate when they get here." The boy nodded and started to stand. All Might reached out a hand and helped him to his feet.

"No problem. You saved my life like a dozen times, even if you didn't have a choice. I'm going to go and try to see if any of my teammates survived this shitshow. I'll see you around." The boy then started to walk away on unsteady legs.

All Might almost followed him. Helping the boy find his teammates would give him a goal and perhaps he could convince the boy and his team to abandon the path of villainy, but he needed time to think. He felt so overwhelmed. He turned away and found a pile of rubble to sit on.

The golden man, Scion, had destroyed the British Isles. How many people must that monster have killed? Millions, tens of millions? And that was days ago, how many more had he killed before the person who had controlled him stopped Scion? It was incomprehensible. Death on a scale so large that the numbers just did not register.

And it was across multiple Earths. Maybe that meant his Earth wasn't hit. All Might felt relief and then shame at the thought. The world didn't matter, life was life. It wasn't any less of a tragedy if it didn't happen to his home.

Home... How was he going to get home? He knew his Master's old enemy was still there, plotting. If he didn't get back there would be nothing to stop All for One from conquering Japan. The responsibility he inherited alongside One for All would be left unfulfilled.

All Might forced himself to calm down. The portals took him here, he just needed to find the person with the portal quirk so they could send him back. The boy had said that he should talk to the Protectorate, the name sounded like it was probably a hero organization on this Earth. They would know the one with the portal quirk and would be able to get him home.

All Might looked up. The majority of the heroes were gathered around the place where Scion had fallen. He prepared to get up and join them but stopped as he saw two figures approaching him.

He turned and looked to see that one was a woman in a pristine suit and fedora and the other was a young girl that looked no older than thirteen wearing a cloak of green and gold that seemed to move in impossible ways. Glancing around he saw that there was no one else nearby they could be approaching, so he stood up and went to meet them.

As he approached he began to greet them but he was cut off by the woman in the suit. "Hello, All Might. Or would you prefer Toshinori?"

Once again All Might felt stunned. The number of people who knew his true identity on his Earth could be counted on one hand. How did this woman know? Was all of this connected to All for One somehow? He forced himself to keep a smile on his face, "All Might, if you would. But I apologize. I believe the two of you have me at a disadvantage.

A phantom woman appeared behind the young girl as she curtseyed, "You are in the presence of Glaistig Uaine." She turned to the woman in the suit, "As for the identity of this one I do not know it, other than her being the host of the Eye. She asked for my assistance in a matter dealing with Khepri and said we needed you as well. I did not believe her at first but now that I see you, you are truly a fascinating anomaly."

All Might gave the girl a confused look. Between the phantom appearing behind the girl and the nonsense she spoke he did not know how to respond, "I'm sorry, I do not understand. And is the figure behind you your quirk?"

Glaistig Uaine smiled, "She is one of my fairies. She is what allows me to speak Japanese. As for you, I saw you during the battle. You have power but you have no fairy, truly a fascinating contradiction."

The woman in the suit spoke before he could ask what a fairy is, "I apologize for the rush but this will take too long if you keep asking questions. I am Contessa, we are here to take you home after you help us with a quick errand."

All Might felt a surge of hope, "What is the errand? Something to do with Khepri?"

Contessa nodded, "Khepri is the Master that fought Scion. I need to take you to speak with her for a moment and then I will take you home."

A chill ran down All Might's spine, a chance to meet the one who defeated Scion. He could not tell if it was from fear or anticipation. "I guess that means you were the one behind the portals. I should thank you, you saved my life many times over."

Contessa closed her eyes for a moment before answering, "No, neither of us fought in the final fight with Scion."

Glaistig Uaine spoke next, "I would have if I knew Khepri could win, but I saw it as another attack and defended myself." All Might noticed that her voice was different, previously everything she said sounded controlled, but now she sounded ashamed. "Sadly the Doormaker died from the strain Khepri put him under, but I was able to collect his Fairy after he died so I can make the portals.

All Might paused a moment before understanding. The girl was like All for One, the fairies she mentioned must be quirks. It was odd that she couldn't see One for All but maybe him being born quirkless changed things, "I understand being scared. If I was able to escape I would have as well." He gave her his best smile, "Still, I understand. You feel as though you failed to help. But it does not matter. The world is still here and it still needs heroes, and with your quirk I am certain you will be among the greatest of them."

The girl stared at him with a look of shock, then she smiled back, "Maybe I will." A new phantom appeared behind her and a portal appeared next to her which he could see trees through. Contessa handed Glaistig Uaine a note and then stepped through the portal, gesturing for him to follow.

After a moment he did and he found himself in a forest. He turned to Contessa, "Where is Khepri?"

Contessa pointed at an animal trail, "We will see her shortly if we follow that."

All Might felt a bit confused that they wouldn't appear right next to Khepri. Maybe Glaistig needed more time to get used to her new power? He turned and started walking down the indicated trail

A moment later Contessa was next to him, he slowed slightly so she could comfortably match his pace. After a moment she spoke, "I have some questions for you before we arrive."

All Might turned towards her, "Then ask."

"What do you think should be done with Khepri?"

"What do you mean?"

Contessa paused for a moment, "What I mean is she killed Scion, but to do so she did terrible things. She enslaved thousands of parahumans and hundreds of thousands of normal humans, and forced them to fight Scion for her. Hundreds died under her control, while they could not even twitch to try and save themselves. One of the earths she fought on will be uninhabitable within the year due to the sheer number of nukes she detonated on it."

All Might considered her words carefully. He wanted to think of this Khepri as a hero but she made a good point, "Why do you ask me?"

"Because I know what I believe should be done, but I was one of the few who escaped her control. So I want to know what you think should be done."

"Do you know what would have happened if Scion had not been stopped?"

Contessa paused, "Are calculations estimated that there are more versions of Earth than there are atoms in the universe, and he would have destroyed humanity across every version of the planet."

That was all he needed to know, "Then she is a hero like no other. I wish she could have used other methods but she was in the most desperate of circumstances. Without her there would be no tomorrow so she should be heralded as the hero that secured it."

As he finished his sentence they stepped into a clearing. In the center of it stood a one armed figure wearing a filthy half destroyed costume covered in blood and ash. The figure was constantly twitching but made no movement towards or away from them.

As he approached her Contessa held out her arm to stop him, "Two more steps forward and you will be under her control again."

All Might stopped and then took a breath to shout his greeting to Khepri, but again Contessa stopped him, "Don't bother, she can't understand human speech anymore."

He turned to Contessa, "What do you mean?"

"In order to stop Scion she had another parahuman mess with her power. It was successful but it damaged her mind in the process, she is rapidly losing any semblance of the person she once was."

All Might felt horrified, this Khepri had sacrificed her mind to stop Scion. "Is there anything we can do for her?"

Contessa nodded, "I have something I can do. But I want to know what we should do with her after."

All Might felt himself get angry, "Then do it we can discuss what to do after when you are done."

Contessa met his gaze, "Once I do so there won't be any more time to discuss."

He took a deep breath and settled himself, "I already told you she is a hero, take her back to the people she saved."

"Those people were trying to kill her before Glaistig Uaine sent her here. Not every person she controlled is as understanding as you are."

All Might felt a deep sense of pain for the girl, she destroyed her mind to save them and they hated her for it. "Does she have any family?"

"No, her final family member died during Gold Morning."

All Might turned and looked at Khepri, seeing how she was struggling to stand. "Then I will take her to my Earth. I will make sure she knows at least one person she controlled knows she is a hero." He turned and glared at Contessa, "That is what you brought me here for in the first place, isn't it."

Contessa nodded, "That is what I was hoping you would say."

Then out of the corner of his eye he saw movement. A portal opened behind Khepri, he could see the telltale shape of UA's main building through it.

Two gunshots rang out and Kherpi's head jerked twice then she collapsed to the ground. An instant later All Might had Contessa pinned to a tree, her gun reduced to pulp in his fist. "What did you just do?"

Contessa answered, her voice perfectly calm, "I disabled her power. If you take her through the portal now you will be able to get her healed in short order."

He turned back and saw UA. Recovery Girl, he needed to get her to Recovery Girl now.

All Might released Contessa, grabbed Khepri, and moved through the portal as fast as he could.

Toshinori fidgeted in his seat as he watched the door to the nurses office. Luckily Recovery Girl had happened to be in today despite it being a Sunday. And since it was a Sunday he hadn't caused a massive interruption to the student's lives when he set off all of the intruder alarms.

When he made it to the nurse's office, Recovery Girl had grabbed the girl and then forced him out of the room so she could work on Khepri. He had been waiting for three hours at this point. Beside him sat Nezu, calmly sipping on a cup of tea.

The Principle had been silent so far, just waiting with him to hear the news after he had resolved the alarm.

Finally the door opened and Recovery Girl stepped out.

Toshinori stood, "How is she?"

Recovery Girl gave him a steady look, "Far better than she has any right to be after being shot twice in the head. Somehow the only damage to her brain the bullets or the skull fragments did was to two abnormal growths she had. It is like someone performed brain surgery on her with a gun."

Recovery Girl sighed, "The growths are odd. I have not seen anything like them and when I used a bit of my power on her to stabilize her before starting surgery they started to heal with the rest of her. We will need to keep an eye on them but it is best to leave them for now. Honestly they are not even the strangest thing about her."

Nezu spoke up, "Oh, then what is?"

Recovery Girl sat down next to All Might as she answered "The rest of her body. Her upper body is a mess of scar tissue, her shoulder has metal grafted to the bone in a way that I would say is physically impossible if I wasn't looking at it. The lower part of her right arm is missing and the wound seems to have been cauterized shut but just sticking it into an open flame. But her lower body has no scar tissue at all."

All Might smiled, "Well that's good isn't it."

Recovery Girl smacked his shin with her cane. "It is an impossibility, especially given what her upper body looks like. It is like her lower body is from an entirely different person, one who apparently never so much as tripped. Who is that girl All Might? What happened to her?"

All Might opened his mouth to answer but stopped, unable to figure out what to say without sounding like he had gone completely insane.

Nezu interrupted his struggle, "I want to know that as well, similarly I want to know where you were? Sir Nighteye called me when you didn't show up to patrol today trying to find out if I knew what happened to you."

Toshinori sighed, "It is one hell of a story. Let's call Nighteye and Naomasa. I'd like to tell them as well, and honestly I'm pretty sure you won't believe I'm telling the truth without Naomasa's quirk verifying my words."

Nezu hopped off his seat, "Fair enough. I'll call Nighteye, you call Tsukauchi-san." Then he scurried away.

As he stood and went to go get a phone he was stopped by Recovery Girl's glare. "That is all well and good, but can you at least tell me the name of the girl in my nursery?"

"Her name is Khepri, and she is the greatest hero to have ever lived."

A/N: Just to let everyone know, the next chapter is going to be a significant time skip. One of my goals with this fic is to write a story about Taylor as a teacher at UA and I hope this start combined with a time skip lets it feel natural, rather than me forcing a contrivance that gets her hired days after arriving. I also like the idea of having Taylor as an established piece of the setting for the crossover rather than her being an outsider.
