Disclaimer: I do not own The Lost Boys.

I'm just another heart in need of rescue

Waitin' on love's sweet charity

And I'm gonna hold on for the rest of my days

'Cause I know what it means

To walk along the lonely street of dreams

Whitesnake blared in my ears as I walked around the boardwalk with my Walkman and headphones. This life was exciting. I looked around at all the rides and lights. The people were all having tons of fun as they played the games and browsed the stalls and shops. I stopped at the hotdog concessions stand and got myself a foot long hot dog with chili, onions, nacho cheese, jalapenos, and sour cream. I also bought a bag of Fritos and a large Cherry coke. I looked at the other faire they had available, and I decided to also get a carton of Whoppers. I placed the Whoppers inside of my backpack.

I took my tray to one of the umbrella covered tables. It was dark already and they haven't removed the umbrellas. I look around as I ate my food. I look around and scan the people. They had to be here. They just had to be. My dreams led me here. Was I too early? Or had I been too late? I hoped not. I was here now and really did not relish dying again and having to start all over to find them. I have already died four times. I have lived in four different lives. Each taken too early, I was too young. Now here I am just turned 18 and had taken my things and ran before the State told me that my foster care had ended.

I finished my food and found my way to a small shop called Frog's Comics. I walked in and began to browse the comics. They were not in order in any way. I scanned the shelves. I was hoping to find Batman of course, but also some Black Kiss. I continued to browse and grabbed a couple Batman's I didn't have. I moved around the shelves and noticed that the two boys stocking shelves was watching me very closely.

"Got any Black Kiss?" I asked aloud.

"We don't sell Vamp comics." the one with the bandana and rough voice said.

I sighed and moved to the counter. I noticed two older people leaned against the wall, unconscious. I could smell weed certainly, but they were out, out. I looked at the ashtray by the TV. A burned spoon. Yep, heroine. I looked to the boys, and they approached the counter with a comic in hand. Destroy All Vampires was its title. I looked at the comic and then at them.

"Not interested." I said and placed Batman down.

"Try it. If you want a vamp comic, why not this?" Bandana said as the other rang me up.

"Yeah, no thank you." I said and gave him the money.

Bandana stuck it in my bag with the Batman comics anyway. I rolled my eyes and left. I came out onto the street to see a really bushy curly haired girl with a small boy with her. She had a teen boy following her and behind him was a younger teen with wacky clothe son. I followed her and saw just what I had been looking for. Bingo!

I scowled as she got on the back of David's motorcycle. David looked back with a smirk at the boy who had been following her. Then he looked to me as I had been staring, I saw the spark of recognition in those same icy blue eyes. I was the same. Same golden blonde hair, same green eyes, same height; I was the same as I had been the day he had lost me. I was the same the day each of them had lost me, Just, different time period clothing.

"David." I whispered then turned around and walked into the crowd.

He would find me again. Maybe not tonight but they would all find me again. I walked to the hotel room I had rented for a few nights. I showered and then snuggled down into the bed to sleep.
