That Night,A Meteor crashes on the hill.
That Morning,People begun taking a good look at it,especially Porky Minch and his Younger Brother,Picky. Ness,Paula,and Poo snuck out at night to look at this. Porky and Picky are there as well. When Porky touches it,it broke open,releasing a strange energy. It possesses Porky. The Trio manage to escape with the help from a small,beetle like creature from the future named Buzz-Buzz,who warns them about an alien force named Giygas is gonna invading the earth by tracking the energy.
He advise them to collect melodies in a sound stone from eight sanctuaries.
While collecting the first melody,They encounter . When Giygas learns about Ness and his friends' goal,he sends in three Starmen to pursue them. After collecting 6 more Melodies,they are ambushed by 3 Starmen. They manage to destroy the two Starmen,but not before one of them wounded Buzz-Buzz. He tells Ness to keep on going before dying.
With still one melody left,Ness,Paula,and Poo continue their journey. Giygas has Porky to be in a Spider-mecha. By the time Ness and his friends collected the last melody,They are ambushed by Starman and Porky. Paula and Poo hold them off,allowing Ness to run to the city so he could use the melodies to stop the force. After the Starman gets destroyed and Porkey flee,Ness is confronted by Giygas. He battles and destroys him and his army with PK Starstorm.
Ness is congratulated by the people of Eagleland. After everything has returned to normal,Ness believes that Porky Minch is out there somewhere since after Giygas' defeat.
