Chapter 22

POV: Michael Abbot (The Original)

[Morax/Zhongli (T8) Captured – 240 credits]

[Azhdaha (T7) Captured – 120 credits]

So, I was surprised to see so many captures after my introduction to Water God Reida, my newest sword instructor alongside Gal. My worries about her being an active Apostle of Hitogami vanished after realizing that I was now 3,000 credits richer than I was earlier today. So, I chose to take a brief respite back to my Demiplane in order to cash in the fruits of me and my clones' efforts. I left a clone to rest with Ghislaine to give me the breathing room to act freely.

So, first things first. While looking through the Company App, I fulfilled one of my oldest and juvenile childhood dreams.

Through Sweet Home Expansion: 25X, I made my Demiplane expand into the size of a fucking Planet! Well, it was the size of Earth, but still it was a planet for me and my retinue to call our own. No longer did we have to stay confined to a small island when a literal globe's worth of land and resources was available to us. Warehouse District was also added to increase our immediate resources and though I could place as many Warehouses in the Demiplane as I want, I chose to only make 4 around the Main House.

Both Hilly and Mita sure were happy when I turned up to greet them again. Well, I did leave a clone or two to keep them company, but the fact that I was there to introduce them to their own island filled with lush vegetation, pure water, and fruits did warm them up to my sudden appearance. They had even "presented" themselves for me as what seemed to be a new custom they made for their mate.

So, after I showed such a custom my "appreciate" wholeheartedly, I left their fucked silly bodies to be tended to and used by my clones. Next, I visited the sudden blip that teleported into the Demiplane after I finished expanding it with Warehouses. Already, I knew who it was when they made a beeline for the closest Warehouse.

"Hi, Nion." I materialized behind my brainy kuudere saiyan wife and dragged her into a big hug.

"Greetings, husband." Ah, there's that familiar indifference that I loved to hear.

"You missed me?" I chuckled.

"No." Ouch! "At 1 AM in Liyue Harbor, I just finished assisting Aether, Paimon, and your Clone with suppressing the three Colossal Beasts that risked the land's safety." Okay that is 100% fair. Now that I'm really concentrating on that clone and his memories, I can't help but feel that moment of clashing with those 3 titanic monsters was epic. I switched things up and turned into a giant Great Ape to fight Azhdaha in a magnificent Kaiju battle, Paimon did me proud by firing her first Kamehameha into one of Osial's many heads, and Nion alongside Cloud Retainer upgraded the Guizhong Ballista to fire house sized volleys of elemental energy at Osial and his wife Beisht.

And the piece of resistance, Aether using the unsheathed Dragon Sword Reid to enact a storm clearing, ocean splitting version of Fate Artoria's EXCALIBUR.

The memory was so vivid and epic that I pitied anyone who wasn't there to bear witness to it. The amount of hard work, cooperation, power, and bullshit was just so…beautiful. Also, the sex. Right about now my clone was having untold amounts of hot, passionate sex with a female Morax and Ganyu in one of the Inns at Liyue. Just the experience of me being in that clone's place plowing and claiming the fertile feeds of the Geo Archon and the Adeptus Coco Goat.

"Here?" Without turning away from the box of supplies before her, Nion used her tail to lift her lab coat and tug down her skintight pants to present her full, ripe ass. Her little star twitched above her trembling pink lips. "Please make it quick, I wish to return to Cloud Retainer to discuss ways on how to improve my Ruin Sentinels."

"Making new friends, are we?" My shroud made my pants vanish as I easily slotted the entirety of my dick in Nion's warm hole. My hands gripped her hips as I roughly thrusted my waist against her full ass cheeks.

"H-Her intellect with magitech piqued my interest, especially after hearing what Aether found in her domain." Nion just seemed to love keeping up the cold turkey act whenever we fucked, but I could always tell from her shallow breathing and her tightened legs that she was just barely holding back from screaming her heart out.

Unfortunately, this Quickie was more for me than it was for her, so I just picked up the pace and kept ramming myself against her cervix. I ramped up Sticky Fingers to eke out at least 2 orgasms out of her before I slammed myself just in tight to flood her womb with my seed. The moment I pulled out, I plucked a hair out from my scalp and transformed it into sizeable dildo to stuff and prevent my cum from leaking out of her pussy.

A shaky breath slipped past her trembling lips as she nonchalantly pulled back up her pants, uncaring of the pussy plug stretching her out. It was a damn turn on to see how casual she was about it, but considering how rapacious my love life is, especially as my clones acted as stand-in proxies for me for each of my lovers, I'd say that sex is now a wonderful occurrence in my new life.

Leaning in to kiss me, she whispered, "Do you feel better now, husband?"

"Yup."

"Good." She nodded, emotionless as ever while her tail happily wagged. "Now if you'll pardon me, I must satisfy my curiosity with our new stores of equipment. Cloud Retainer seemed interested to learn of our Ruin Sentinel project and wished to incorporate it to her temple."

Remembering my huge stack of credits, an idea came to me. "Wait, I'm currently purchasing some perks from the Company App."

"I am aware." Nion's back was already to me as she tore the roof off a crate and began scavenging for materials.

"So, I was about to expand our repertoire of Shrouds and purchase some Talents that include Science and Engineering. You interested in talking shop before you go?" Nion gave no verbal answer, yet her tail snapped out to wrap around my ankle.

I decided to take that as a yes and purchased as many perks as I could with her input. She was thrilled that I got us Science Talent, Engineering Talent, and Talent Sharing: Science & Engineering Talent. Though what had her elated was my choice to expand the elements of my Shroud and by extension give each member of my retinue an Element for their base Shroud. Each element was determined by their own personality and preferences, so it didn't come off as a surprise when Nion abandoned our conversation to get to work on replicating and assembling a Ruin Sentinel in just under a minute with her Cyber Shroud.

So, all things considered, everyone who was currently on the Demiplane was happy with their upgrades. Plus, I splurged on Three-Piece Suit: 3X, so I can use three out of my 12 available Shroud elements at once. Already, I feel like I'm overpreparing for nothing, but having all of this ready for when shit does hit the fan will put my mind at ease.

Which brings me to the Trajectory. Agreement perk. This would allow me unrestrained access to Multiversal Travel. Unlike with Exit Stage Left, I won't be bogged down by a Roulette of a couple of worlds. Here, I'd have complete access to go anywhere and anytime that I want.

I could travel to the RWBY universe and throw hands with the Brother Gods just before their wiped out humanity.

I could travel to an alternate Naruto Universe where the "canon" Boruto series wouldn't even exist.

I could even…Oh My God! T-This means that I could go to the DevilArtemis Universe!

The options were unlimited. Plus, I could easily use this to immediately locate Hitogami's location and get the job over and done with without needing to kill Peruguis and Demon God Laplace just to get the Dragon Treasure, which is required to enter the Void World. For Context, the original and first Dragon God gave the key to the Void World where he trapped Hitogami to Dragon-Demon God Laplace, who split it into pieces and gave each of the Original Dragon God's Generals a piece.

I say this because Peruguis' mom, Dora, alongside Laplace were given a piece of the Dragon Treasure. The only way to get the treasure is through their deaths. Flashforward to the present and ever since Dora's death, the treasure has been transferred to Peruguis. However, Peruguis doesn't know this since he died and was reincarnated as a baby into his current life after the death of his mother.

Demon-Dragon God Laplace may have had his soul split by the Fighting God, but his Demon God half still holds the treasure. And since the Demon God is currently sealed away while using the Dragon Race's reincarnation technique to find a new vessel to inhabit, the chances of killing him right now are zilch since Laplace is set to revive in 80 to 90 years…

…Yeah, I didn't want to wait that long just to face Hitogami.

So, I purchased Trajectory. Agreement.

Then my entire phone's screen froze abruptly before one of the first calls I've had since I started my job as a Contractor rang so loudly that they bounced off the walls of the warehouse.

My skepticism to not answer was beat out upon me realizing that I hadn't been to a technologically advanced world that wouldn't have telephones. "Hello?"

"Greetings, am I speaking with the Contractor under designation: 6038140-01?" A cheery voice spoke from the other side of the line.

"I'm him. May I ask who this is?" I asked.

"Yello, Mr. Abbot~! The name's Astolfo, and I work with the HR department under Archduke of Eternity-sama." Huh, no wonder they sounded so familiar. Also, it was a femboy, I wonder if this choice of Agent was deliberately used to soften me up for them. "And I am calling you here today in regard to a pending purchase of the…Trajectory. Agreement perk, is that right?"

I shrugged. "I dunno, you're the one who called just after I picked it."

"Boo! No need not to go with the flow, ya know~!" Whoever this was sounded cute enough to hit all of my buttons, but I kept quiet so they could get to the point. "Well, why I called is to simply deliver a warning and hear the final confirmation from your lips before allowing this purchase to go through."

I narrowed my eyes. "Warning? Is there some sort of glitch with the perk or something?"

"Oh, no, nothing of the sort, Mr. Abbot. You'll be given uninhibited access to travel to any World amongst the boundless Multiverse."

"So, what's the problem."

"You'll be given uninhibited access to travel to ANY World amongst the boundless Multiverse." Astolfo repeated with extra punctuation. "As you may already know, we observe and prepare Worlds for Contractors to settle, harvest their resources, and abscond with their waifus and or husbandos. Each world is regulated and is placed on Standby for when the Contractor is ready to make the next Jump. These functions are the Exit Stage Left and Pursued by a Bear."

I nodded, already aware of this.

"So, when prepping a World to you, you'll be relieved to know that the parameters are as exactly as you expect them to be. Doubly so if you possess Universal Calibration and Meta Shift so that we can align the World with your preference. Now to get to your actual purchase, with Trajectory. Agreement, your given free reign to enter any World with your own power. Like saaaaaaaaay~!"

He playfully hummed. "If you wanted to go to the DC Universe where only a select few heroines survived some Apocalyptic Event that wiped out the Earth, then you'd just have to desire it, specify your wants, then BAM! You're there."

"Okay, so far I haven't heard anything bad about this perk."

"Well, the downside to this is, you won't get any guarantee that you won't bump into someone above your weight class."

"Huh?"

"Yep~! We regulate and locate worlds that are the least likeliest to be invaded by any Deities, Demons, Eldritch Horrors, and any other beings that are classified as Tiers X through Z. Though the high reward for allowing you free access to traverse the multiverse without us stopgapping you is indeed valuable, the risk that you'd come across a threat that we weren't able to fend off, enslave, or kill will be unbearably high if you're not lucky."
I gulped. "And just how many others weren't lucky enough?"

"Um…I'd say a good 45% of you Archduke of Eternity Contractors." Jesus, that's way too high! "But that's taking into account that 20% of them are newbies who had in their head to simply splurge on Trajectory. Agreement for their first starting builds. They thought it was clever to pull a fast one and go to the next world without fanfare before getting blindsided by Cthulhu suddenly appearing to throw their world into chaos."

"Yeesh…" I inhaled sharply.

"Yup-yup~! Though I wouldn't worry about you, Mr. Abbot. As I'm currently looking at your file, your Build currently states you're a Tier 10 Contractor. Of course, this is only taking into account your raw power thanks to you Template Stacking I & II: Son Goku. Tehehehe, plus I do have to commend you for your first Template Stacking of Sun Wukong."

"Why?"

"Because by the time that you chose it, Sun Wukong was designated a Tier 10. After the higher-ups took notice of your swift progress, they decided to patch that up and make him a Tier Y."

"Huh, I guess I got lucky."

"Luck is a valuable trait for a Contractor to have, especially when it grants you a leg up on your fellow co-workers."

"Really, I thought that my Patron and the other higher ups would be bored by me dominating my Worlds so far." I grunted.

"Oh, some are. Although, our Patron isn't one of them. You are doing your job AND doing a great job at it. Trust me, our department is usually more optimistic and naïve with who our boss picks to join under him. Unlike some Contractors, they'd rather gallivant around on their high horses while mooching off of our resources." There was a bit of resentment in his tone, but it just as quickly snapped back to being peppy. "Which is why I personally like workers like you who can set aside their morals to contribute to our lovely work environment."

To any one of those resentful Contractors who disdained the Company, that compliment would have eaten away at their soul. As for me, I felt glad that my work was being appreciated by someone who also understood what signing on to the Company truly meant.

"Thanks."

"Just keep up the good work, Mr. Abbot. Although~!" Suddenly their voice became all husky and suggestive. "If you're interested in hearing more about my appreciation for your work, we can always schedule a get-together and-."

"No thanks."

"Phooey~! You're so cute and here also you had a good line up of Waifus and everything too. Would have loved to add all of you as another notch to my belt, but oh well…" They may have sounded disappointed but that deceptive lull in their tone didn't fool me.

This was exactly why I chose PVE.

If there is one thing to be wary of, it would be my fellow Contractors. The boring old Agent who signed me onto this gig was a Tier Y, who gladly revealed every perk and accomplishment that he made under the infinite suns that he owned. He spoke about conquering the entire Shin Megami Tensei Universe as a casual past time that he enjoys with his son and daughter, two other high tiered Contractors.

So…that pretty much killed any ego I could muster since the Company has loads of high Tiered guys working as simple business folk for them. I'm not "special" and that's okay. I was given my powers by a Multidimensional Slave Ring, so there didn't need to be any more reason than that.

They hooked me up and now I'll willingly roll with them.

"So, if you don't mind me asking…what's your tier?"

"Hmhm~! I'm proudly at Tier X." The bottom of the highest Tier, but also quite a feat. Also, I would have been so fucked had I willingly fallen for their pass just now. "But that's enough about me because I just need your confirmation for Trajectory. Agreement. Are you sure?"

I rubbed my chin. "Do I still get to do Missions for the Worlds?"

"That's…a big NO, silly. Missions are locked in Company regulated Worlds in their regulated Multiverse. Giving you the freedom to move as you want means that you won't get a safety net. Sure, us at the break room and our bosses will still observe you, but we won't be held accountable for any surprises that catch you unawares. You can still get points for Captures, but don't expect the Mission boards to be open for you if you just jump headlong into the Wild Omniverse."

"That's…fine…" I sighed. "I think I would like to purchase Trajectory. Agreement. now please."

"Fantastic!" I heard the clacking of a keyboard until a *DING!* informed me of my clearance to officially purchase the perk. "I'm rooting for ya, Mr. Abbot!"

"Wow, really? Thanks."

"Yuppers~! I've bet the Root to my Starting World on you if you manage to become an eligible Tier X by the beginning of your first mandatory Company Raid." Okay, now THAT was concerning!

"H-Hold on, you have way TOO much confidence in me. Tier X? And wait, what this about a Company Raid?"

"Oopsies~! I spoilt the surprise, you new workers weren't given that piece of juicy info at your orientation…Welp, see you later, 6038140-01, and happy hunting!"

"Wait, I still have questions!" I was met with the dial tone as my unhelpful answer. "Fuck…" I groaned and teleported over to the highest mountain in my Demiplane to grouse and contemplate my next course of action.

…I can't do anything about this so-called Raid.

So, I'll complete the tasks in the Mushoku Tensei world before moving back to Teyvat to check in on Scara-I mean Mikoto and how his campaign in Inazuma is going.

Now with Trajectory? Agreement. I have a quick and easy way to get to Hitogami without the tedious bullshit to access the Void World. Now I just need to decide whether the people I have available would be suitable to raid and defeat the guy. Sure, I can just go ham and settle things with the false god, but I invested so much into this new world.

I at least needed to throw down with Orsted and get him on my side before stepping up to deal with business. By this point, whether he willingly joins up with me or not isn't that big of a deal. I mean, I could just throw Paul at him, but I doubt my Guinea Pi-I mean, my subordinate could take him without more years of practice.

I could capture and throw Gal and Reida against Orsted, but then I'd have to train them up.

Ugh, thinking about it. It does seem like I'm overcomplicating things by not going all out and simply capturing everyone that I see. Hm, I guess I could just direct all my energy on one thing while simply taking everything at a faster pace.

Yeah, I think I'm through with sandbagging at the Sword Sanctum.

Purchasing Bounty Tracker, I kept track of all the known Waifus and Husbandos in the Mushoku Tensei. Currently, Orsted was in Northern Continent (have to warn Irene about that), Gisu was travelling with Kalman III toward the Northern Continent, Kishirika was on the Demon Continent (no surprise there), Badigadi was somewhere in the Ringus Ocean (that's concerning considering the Fighting God Armor is sealed there), and Lilia Greyrat was in the Asura Kingdom.

With this knowledge sent directly to my clones to act accordingly, I moved on to purchase Administrative Talent for my clone in the Demon Continent since I have no clue on how to lead a Kingdom, much less build one from the ground up that's composed of child-like, hedonistic, and reckless demons. Once my business with the Sword Sanctum is done, I'll just go straight to Fort Necross to build my power base there and change the Demon Continent into a livable place.

Now…lets get back to work…

But first-!

I teleported to a familiar presence. One who was oddly present in the main house's Wine Cellar.

"Hi, Venti."

"Sweet Heavenly Pri-!" Found holding a bottle of wine in each hand was my personal Anemo Archon, Venti. He appeared to be making himself right at home as his attire was far more modern than anything Teyvat could make. I wondered how he even got himself access to headphones and a cellphone before diving into the memories of a clone who helped him purchase them after he started free loading here.

"Oh, h-hey, Michael…you are the real one, right?"

"Yes."

"Glorious that's good to know…" He whistled a jaunty tune while failing to hide the two wine bottles behind him. The clacking of glass from them bumping together made him wince. "So, I take it that you're the reason why my Shroud is allowing me more fine tune control over my domain?"

Ah, so he got the Storm Shroud. Heh, no brainer there I suppose. "Yup, enjoy the power boost. Now what the hell are you doing here, Venti? Shouldn't you be in Mondstadt freeloading off of others?"

"I was…until I realized that my Slaver, one who willfully stripped me of my freedom holds a veritable collection of spirits that I had to wet my tongue with. Surely, he'd be understanding of my plight and let me partake in his ardor." The bard graced me with a deep bow, but I didn't miss the beads of sweat on his brow.

Deeply sighing, I shook my head. "No…I don't mind." I raised a hand before he could cheerfully sing my praises. "But why are you here? Shouldn't you be hanging with Dvala and travelling around Mondstadt being a mooch to someone else?"

"Ah, no need. Ever since you captured and stripped Dvala of her freedom." He's never gonna let that go will he? "She's been free to roam the land in her human form and to freely interact and assist the people of Mondstadt of her own free will. Plus, Nion's work with the Ruin Sentinels have really upped the nation's security. So now I have loads of free time on my hands to indulge myself to the fullest~!"

I honestly didn't know what to expect when dealing with such a flippant god like this. Strip away the mystique and centuries worth of life experience and you're stuck with a hedonistic Wind Spirit who managed to become an Archon.

"Yup, while Dvala is no doubt building a rep as the true "Anemo Archon" by proactively helping your people and nation." I shrugged.

"Pish-posh! It's the least I could do for her after the Heavenly Principles stripped away her original incarnation's authority over Anemo to me."

"What?"

Venti paused at that before cheekily grinning. "If you want to know more, then head to Fontaine. I'm sure that someone like you will make a huge splash there."

"Splash?" I did hear that the Hydro Archon resides there, but I didn't really keep up to date with the Archon Quest before being hired as a Contractor.

Venti refused to elaborate and while I did want to teach this little shit an overdue lesson, I had business to attend to.

Testing out Trajectory? Agreement.

I just wanted to visit a World at a certain time and place with no third party available to get in my way. This wasn't going to be a mission or a Capture fest. I just wanted to traverse the Multiverse and reach that one singular moment that has horribly sat with me since I was a child.

The portal that conveyed my desire and specifications opened before me, and as I stepped through it, I found myself in the ruins of what was once a proud modern city. Rain poured down drenched the destroyed lifeless streets where rubble, bodies, and vehicles laid about.

I sensed no life signatures in the area save for one that was admittedly weaker than my own. Well, not to be harsh since this energy signature would still be a big threat in the past two worlds that I visited, except this one where two cold and heartless monsters terrorized the remnants of this World.

"-or me! No end!" Ah, I remember this part. Welp, looks like I better join the fun and make this an even fight.

I felt for the spark on the small of my back and emerged as a Super Saiyan. The Golden aura the pulsed and blazed from my body generated a powerful light that illuminated the destroyed city. Pressing to fingers to my forehead, I concentrated and locked on to the sole energy signature that I could sense in the city.

Materializing behind the panting back of a one-armed man, I immediately blitzed the pair of cruel heartless monsters that were shamelessly jumping him.

"What the hell!?" "Another Saiyan!?"

I kicked the jaw of the black haired monster while angrily elbowing the solar plexus of the blonde one. I would imagine that for the first time since their "fight" with the guy behind me, they've actually sustained some real actual damage. They certainly didn't bounce back right away after I sent them crashing through a dozen or so buildings.

"W-Who are you?"

My smile grew as I turned back to face the sole remaining Z-fighter, who honestly shouldn't have had to die a dog's death on his own.

"A friend."

AN: And that's this chapter done! This feels disjointed from the past chapter, but this is just mostly to test the Trajectory? Affirmative. perk and to fulfill one of the SI's revenge boners. I gave this perk some glaring drawbacks to it being a DLC by nature instead of an official Waifu Catalogue Perk. Now I have a fun new element to introduce to the story for the future.

Plus some Worldbuilding with the Company and how the SI fits into it beyond working in his own separate worlds. The Company knew what it was trying to do by appealing to his preference with that specific HR Agent.
