Hey everyone! Today is Sonic the Hedgehog's 32nd birthday, so I decided to write a birthday fanfiction for him. Happy Birthday Sonic!
It's a great day in Mobius. The sun is shining, the grass is greener, the water is cleaner, and the animals are happy. But that's not all. Today is Sonic's birthday, and Tails and his friends, including a purple fox named Vertera the Fox, are preparing for a birthday party for Sonic. As for Dr. Eggman, he's on holiday with Metal Sonic and Sage, so everyone can have their peace.
"All right guys! Is everything ready?!" said Tails. "The drinks are ready!" said Amy. "Looks like the gifts are good to go!" said Knuckles. "The food is ready for the birthday boy." said Blaze. "I can't wait for Mr. Sonic to come!" said Cream excitedly. "Chao Chao Chao!" said Cheese. "Hmmmm I'm only here for Faker, but yes, he's my rival and my friend." said Shadow.
"Oh, come on Shadow. He's been helping everyone since Eggman started the war with Infinite, so cut the big blue some slack." said Rouge teasingly.
While everyone is preparing for Sonic's birthday party, Vertera the Fox was quiet, preparing her birthday gift for Sonic. She's been so quiet all day. She had a big crush on Sonic, but she feared that Amy would attack her with a hammer, even though she's her friend. "Hey, you've been quiet lately." said Amy. "Oh! Sorry Amy!" said Vertera.
"Hey, it's okay! Calm down." said Amy. "Y-Yeah." said Vertera. "Sighs" Is this about Sonic?" said Amy. "Wait, how did you know that?" said Vertera. "Look, I've liked Sonic ever since he saved me from Metal Sonic. I was a lovestruck puppy, but that's in the past. I'm dating Blaze." said Amy while blushing. "I understand that, Amy." said Vertera.
"GUYS! HE'S COMING!" said Silver while yelling. Everybody is going to hide in their places. Sonic was running towards the picnic. "Tails? Knuckles? Amy? Where is everybody?" said Sonic. "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONIC!" said everybody while blowing confetti.
"Awww you guys! You didn't have to do that!" said Sonic happily. "So Big Blue, how does it feel to be 32 years old?" said Rouge. "Man, I feel old, but still young! Ready to go on an adventure!" said Sonic. "Well, what are you waiting for, Faker? Let's celebrate your birthday." said Shadow smiling. "Yeah! Let's go!" said Sonic.
Everybody is having a good time, except for Vertera, who is sitting and watching Sonic and his friends celebrating the party. "Hey Vertera! Are you having a good time?" said Sonic. "Y-Yeah, Sonic." said Vertera while blushing. "I do have a gift for you, Sonic." said Vertera. "Huh?" said Sonic. Vertera is giving a chill dog and hands it over to him. "Happy Birthday Sonic." said Vertera. Sonic looked at the gifted chill dog that she made and gives it.
"Vertera... this is the greatest gift ever... thank you!" said Sonic, tears falling from his face. "Do you like it?" said Vertera. "I LOVE IT!" said Sonic as he hugged her. She hugged him back. "Actually, I have a thank you gift for you." said Sonic. "Really?" said Vertera while blushing. "Close your eyes." said Sonic. "Okay." said Vertera as she closed her eyes. Something warm touched her lips, and when she opened her eyes, Sonic was kissing her! At first, she was shocked, but she kissed him back. When they pulled away, their faces were red. "That's my thank you gift." said Sonic. Vertera smiled. "Happy Birthday my blue hero." said Vertera. "Thank you my fox." said Sonic. They kissed again as everyone clapped and cheered for the new couple.
This is the best birthday party ever.
