A/N Hello everyone and welcome to my first ever RWBY fanfiction. I am a RWBY super fan, I've met the cast several times at multiple conventions (some of the most awesome ladies you could ever meet) where I've had some amazing stuff signed by them, and recently came up with this idea for a story that I wanted to share with everyone. I am very excited for this idea and will have a lot to say about it later, but for now I just want to say how happy I am to write it and hope you all will enjoy it. Sit back, enjoy, and please remember to leave a REVIEW!

Two figures were currently patrolling through the forests that surrounded Beacon Academy with their guards raised as they searched for their target. They'd been walking through bushes and zig zagging around trees for the last two hours hoping for a stroke of luck in locating the pest that had been tormenting the students of the school for the past week. Ever since the school had reopened about a year ago Grimm attacks hadn't been all that bad, but they still happened here and there. This would occasionally make it necessary to call upon the trusted huntsmen and huntresses of Vale to do their job of eradicating the soulless monsters. And there were two huntresses in particular that were always ready to answer the call to protect the school that meant so much to them. Right at this very moment they were looking in opposite directions while they hiked through the seemingly endless shrubs, hoping they'd find their target soon so they could collect their mission fee and head home.

"Hey, do you ever think maybe we give too much of a discount when we take on jobs for Beacon," said the first of the two ladies, her short black hair swaying lightly as she swung her blade at some thick branches to clear a path for the two of them.

Looking over her shoulder she noticed her partner smirking back with her hands on her hips, her own long blond hair blowing gracefully with the light breeze that was passing through the forest.

"Eh, with everything I owe to that school I don't think doing these jobs for free would make us even," said the second lady walking right up behind her dark haired partner.

The blonde gave a light rub on her partner's back with a wink as she walked past her through the clearing that had just been opened, revealing a lot more scenery for them to take in as they continued their search.

The dark haired woman shook her head while smiling and lightly chuckling back as she walked into the clearing herself, both of them taking it all in for a moment.

"Mmmmm, you owe them so much you say?" said the dark haired woman still smiling while not looking at her partner. "With the endless list of stuff we've been through since you first arrived at this school all those years ago, seems pretty funny that you think you owe them."

The two ladies continues to playfully flirt with each other while looking in separate directions, always enjoying that they can enjoy each other's company like this.

"Yeah it definitely was a hefty bill to save the world, but it's not like it cost me an arm and a leg, just an arm," said the blonde woman holding up her right arm which was actually a super high tech artificial limb.

The black haired woman looked at her partner's artificial arm, momentarily remembering how she had lost it years ago. It used to bring her nothing but horrific thoughts, but over time all that eventually passed because it was now part of their long journey that led them to each other.

"Well that still doesn't explain how you think you can never be even with Beacon," said the black haired woman turning to face her partner now.

The blonde turned to face her as well while wearing a loving smile, her lilac eyes shining with affection. Using her left arm she reached up to gently stroke her partner's cheek.

"Because it's where I first met you, which was the greatest thing that ever happened in my entire life," said the blonde woman truthfully. "No amount of lien or lost body parts will ever be worth as much to me as you are."

The black haired woman smiled back with equal happiness, two little things on top of her head suddenly started to twitch a bit at the beautiful words she was hearing, causing her partner to smirk at them.

"I never get tired of how cute those cat ears of yours look on you," said the blonde woman while reaching up to gently run her finger along the cat ears on top of her partner's head.

They both pressed their foreheads gently against each other, letting the moment wash over them. Total privacy was allowing them be as cheesy as they wanted right now.

"I love you Yang," said Black Belladonna putting her own hands around her partner's shoulders.

"I love you too Blake," said Yang Xiao Long as she leaned in and gently placed her lips against her girlfriends, which Blake happily returned with interest.

Blake and Yang sank into their kiss as the warm feeling of the sun shined down on them, adding to the feeling of happiness they were both experiencing while the wind lightly blew through their hair. They almost forgot the whole reason they were in the forest in the first place and possibly would have if one of their scrolls didn't start to beep at that moment. Their lips reluctantly separated as they looked at Yang's jacket pocket.

"Ugh, way to ruin the mood whoever you are," said Blake as Yang pulled out her scroll to see who was calling. As if she knew and was teasing them, it was Yang's little sister Ruby calling them.

"Oh Rubes, I swear I love her but she really does have the worst timing sometimes," said Yang shaking her head with a chuckle as she accepted the call. "What's up little sis, calling to stick your nose in on the mission again?"

Yang put Ruby on speaker so Blake could hear too, leaning closer to her girlfriend and listening to her former team leader.

"Hey, I haven't been that nosy about your mission, I just want to make sure my big sister and her girlfriend are getting the job done," said Ruby from wherever she was calling from. "I mean how else am I supposed to ensure Team RWBY's reputation as the greatest huntresses on Remnant stays intact, especially when my own sister chooses to do missions with her girlfriend rather than me."

Both Blake and Yang smirked at the sudden change of tone in Ruby's voice, knowing she was just being playful but it still sounded adorable all the same, just like the hyperactive red hooded girl had always been.

"Relax Ruby we've got it all under control," said Blake calmly into Yang's scroll. "We're been moving through the forest for the last couple hours on the Grimm's trail and we're pretty sure we're closing in on it. Besides aren't you still pretty busy right now doing that broadcast thing with those Earthlings that are obsessed with us? Streaming as a V-tuber I think you called it, still don't know exactly what that means though."

"Well yes I have been pretty busy doing that stuff along with accepting my own huntress missions, kinda hard to walk away from it. Seriously you should see how much those Earthlings practically worship us whenever I stream to them, it's pretty amazing. But please still don't hesitate to ask me to come help if you need it. I could even call Weiss and get her to come with too," said Ruby excitedly. "She'd never turn down a fun time like this with her BFF."

Both Blake and Yang looked at each other for a moment, clearly thinking the same thing.

"Um, Ruby, has Weiss ever verified out loud that she considers you her BFF?" asked Yang raising an eyebrow.

There was suddenly a moment of awkward silence between the scrolls while they waited for Ruby to answer.

"Yes she has, when we came back from that beach vacations we took together just the two of us," said Ruby defensively.

Blake and Yang again looked at each other suspiciously. They'd heard Ruby make this claim a lot over the years but for whatever reason Weiss would never verify it. This made both of them question whether or not the claim was true.

"Still sticking to that one little sis? We still haven't heard Weiss confirm this story," said Yang with a hint of accusation in her tone.

"Well, that's just how she shows how much she loves me," said Ruby quickly going from a whisper to talking fast. "Yeah she may have this mystery boyfriend now that she doesn't want to introduce us to yet, but we're still super besties like always."

Blake and Yang lightly giggled again while covering their mouths as Ruby tried to plead her case that she and Weiss were the greatest of besties around. She might have ranted for an hour if not for something that was about to come for Blake and Yang at that very moment.

ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR

Blake and Yang snapped their heads up to look in the direction of the loud roar, knowing they were about to have to spring into action. That meant it was time to wrap up this scroll call.

"Ruby, we both love you but we have to go, things are about to get a little dicey over here," said Blake as she pulled her sword back out which she called Gambol Shroud, swinging it around on it's long line.

Yang hung up her scroll and slipped it back into her pocket before getting her own weapons ready. Snapping her wrists up she activated her shotgun gauntlet on her left arm, the Ember Celica, as well as the built in gun on her artificial right arm.

"You ready to test out your green thumb?" said Blake smiling at her girlfriend.

"More like black thumb in this case," said Yang smirking back as something came crashing through the trees into the clearing they were waiting on.

One of the ugliest Grimm either of them had ever seen was charging towards them and it looked like it was ready for business. It was some kind of hybrid Grimm that seemed to be a cross between a Venus fly trap and a horse. The upper half was a giant mouth like thing with teeth all around it that resembled the plant known for luring insect into it then closing in on them. But in addition to this giant mouth there were also several vine like tentacles whipping around where the neck of the horse would be. How this Grimm could see was anyone's guess, but it was currently galloping right at Blake and Yang with all it's tentacles swinging wildly.

"Wow, the report wasn't kidding with it's description, that is all kinds of weird and ugly," said Blake as her eyes shot open for a moment. Yang had a matching expression on her own face.

"I agree, it's no wonder they wanted us to get rid of this thing before it gets any of the students," said Yang snapping herself back into her focused stance. "Well then, let's get a move on so we can head back home, I didn't quite get my fill from that kiss a few moments ago."

Blake blushed a bit at Yang's words as she stepped a bit away from Yang while swinging her weapon, letting Yang grab onto it so she could fling her towards the Grimm. This was one of their signature moves and it was something they always enjoyed doing. Blake spun around while whipping the line to get Yang airborne, swinging her around once before she was flung like a rocket towards the Grimm. There was a huge confident smirk all over Yang's face as she punched her fists together.

"Get a good look at this face ugly, because thistle be the end of you," said Yang, never passing up the opportunity to throw out a pun.

With her eyes changing from lilac to bright red and her hair flaring up like it was on fire, Yang swung a mighty punch towards the Grimm as she approached it, Blake charging towards them from behind and ready to assist like the perfect team they were.

A few hours had passed since Blake and Yang had successfully vaporized the ugly plant/horse Grimm. They were finally getting home after taking a shower in Beacon's locker room and a long airship ride to their secluded home on Patch, the island that Yang grew up on in west Vale. After successfully saving the world from the evil witch Salem almost two years ago, both Blake and Yang wanted to pursue a life together. All four members of Team RWBY were still really close and saw each other as often as possible, but they also had their own separate lives now in addition to being world class huntresses. Multiple options were discussed by Blake and Yang, but they both eventually agreed they would prefer to have a nice low key place together in seclusion. After the crazy excitement they'd had on their long journey together with the rest of Team RWBY in saving the world, some peace and quiet was very appealing. But it was still close enough that they could travel to Vale for a fun night of dancing at the clubs if they wanted, something that had become one of their favorite activities over the years. But right now they were ready to enjoy the rest of their night in peace after a successful mission and collecting their mission bounty afterwards.

"Phew, that was one hell of a day, and quite possibly the ugliest Grimm I've ever seen in my life," said Yang as she and Blake walked up to their front door together.

"I agree, and I think we can take the rest of the weekend off before we take on any more missions," said Blake with her hand in Yang's as they walked inside, heading straight for the couch.

It wasn't anything extravagant, but it was a very charming two story cabin that the two of them had grown quite fond of since settling in. Ruby along with her and Yang's dad Tai had come by and helped them set everything up after they bought it, so happy that his little dragon had decided to live somewhere that was close enough for him to see her regularly. Weiss, after reclaiming her birthright as the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, had bought the property for them as a thank you for changing her life in so many amazing ways since they met. But when move in day came she conveniently claimed she had a mission that day and sent movers she hired. Yet about a week later she was the first one to show up for the housewarming party and ended up being the life of the party.

Yang plopped onto her back at the far right side of the couch while Blake snuggled up right beside her, putting her head on Yang's shoulder while Yang wrapped her arm around Blake's.

"Ah, I don't think it gets any better than this," said Yang exhaling happily. "First I get to kick an ugly monster's ass, then I get to snuggle up with the hottest black cat in the land."

Yang winked at Blake while smiling, something she did a lot, causing Blake to blush again while smiling.

"Oh really, you don't think having a black cat like me around all the time is any kind of bad luck?" asked Blake raising an eyebrow playfully, to which Yang giggled.

"Nope, remember my uncle Qrow is the bad luck one, literally," said Yang leaning back a little bit. "Though that's never seemed to keep him down or prevent him from living and enjoying the bad boy life."

"I've always liked how you're such a bad girl, really makes me purr," said Blake giving Yang a light peck on the cheek.

Yang narrowed her eyes a bit suggestively as she eyed Blake like a predator. Swiftly pulling Blake into her lap so she was straddling her, she wrapped her arms around the faunus's waist.

"Well you know we did have our little moment back in the forest interrupted, but now here we are just the two of us in the privacy of our own home," said Yang slowly leaning closer. "Not a soul around to stop me from doing whatever I want to you."

Blake wrapped her arms around Yang's neck and leaned slowly leaned closer to her face too, as if daring her to keep going.

"And what makes you think I'll want to stop you from doing whatever you want?" asked Blake seductively, but before either of them could say another word their lips met in a deep passionate kiss.

Both of the huntresses started to gently run their hands along the other as they kissed deeply, sinking into it and feeling like they were on a cloud while doing so. After a few moments without warning, Yang hopped up to her feet with Blake in her arms, starting to move towards their bedroom. Kicking the door open Yang walked in towards their bed, laying Blake down on her back as she crawled over her. Both girls were on fire as they stared into each other's eyes.

"I doubt I'll ever get tired of doing this with you," said Blake lustfully as she felt her coat being unzipped, spreading her legs to wrap them around Yang's waist.

"That makes two of us kitty, and I'm feline really fired up right now," said Yang happily. Even in the bedroom she was always ready to drop a pun.

The next day Blake and Yang were relaxing in their backyard together and just enjoying the sunshine. Both of them were kicked back in their comfortable lawn chairs in short shorts and tank tops, having already applied suntan lotion to each other. Yang had her kick ass aviator sunglasses on while she sipped her homemade strawberry sunrise. Blake on the other hand was enjoying a perfect cup of tea. Both ladies were reading their respective scrolls and sharing stories they were coming across, some serious some humorous. Suddenly Yang got a ding that signaled a message from her sister.

"Hey Blake, Ruby just sent me the latest streaming video she did for those Earthlings, let's see what video game she played this time from their world," said Yang reaching her scroll over so Blake could see better.

Blake leaned over a bit closer to get a better look while they watched the video together, the first thirty or so minutes being Ruby addressing the people in her chat and talking to them.

"You know we should maybe try to make another trip to that world, it's actually pretty cool," said Blake casually. "I definitely enjoyed meeting and hanging out with those Earthlings that are basically our counterparts on that world."

Yang nodded her head a bit in agreement.

"Yeah Ruby actually talks about her friend Lindsay pretty often when she does these things, I guess they've become pretty close ever since we leaned how to cross over to that world," said Yang. "I personally thought that Arryn girl was pretty awesome, she has all those tattoos and looks a lot like you."

"Yeah she was definitely cool, but I thought that Barbara was a pure bad ass," said Blake. "She was so much like you I swear for a moment I thought she actually was you, even her voice sounded alarmingly close to yours."

Yang flipped her hair proudly as she remembered how much fun she had chatting with Barbara Dunkelman when they met. It was like a never ending pun battle that they both wanted to keep going forever.

"Oh and let's not forget how Weiss hit it off with that girl Kara, that was quite a scene," said Yang chuckling. "She was REALLY intrigued on Weiss's life and also had a lot of questions about Juane, almost as if she was hoping they were together."

Both Blake and Yang kept reminiscing about the fun times they'd had when they were able to visit Earth in the past while they watched Ruby play some video game they'd never seen. Ever since Ruby had been able to start doing these v-tube streams she'd gained access to all kinds of cool video games on Earth. For this video in particular she was playing some kind of restaurant game called Plate Up.

"So I guess in this game she runs a restaurant somehow, and apparently bread is not her specialty," said Yang giggling as they heard Ruby talk about bread being her sworn enemy while she tried to serve the game guests.

"If she serves tuna I'll be there every day with bells on," said Blake practically drooling at the thought of her favorite food.

"Yeah I think we both know that if Ruby ever had a restaurant the only thing she'll be focusing on is the cookies, and she'll probably eat them all before they can be sold," said Yang as Blake chuckled in response. Both ladies kept smiling as they continued to watch the video, commenting and joking whenever certain stuff happened that they liked.

Eventually, after two hours, the video ended with Ruby saying bye to everyone and that she couldn't wait to see them all again next time. Yang put her scroll away and got up to stretch a bit before picking up her empty glass.

"Well, I'm gonna get myself another drink, you want some more tea, or maybe milk?" Yang asked Blake in a playful tone, earning a flirty look from Blake in response.

"I would love another cup of tea, thank you kind human," said Blake happily while kicking back as if she were royalty. "Sure is nice being part cat which means humans always find me absolutely adorable and want to worship me for being so cute."

Yang poked at Blake's arm before leaning over and giving her a kiss upside down. Taking both empty glasses she headed inside to the kitchen to get both drinks, but before she could fill them she heard a knock at the door. Looking at her watch she realized it was about that time of the day when mail was delivered whenever they had any. Looks like today there was something. Putting the glasses down Yang walked to the front door and opened it up, greeting the mailman and accepting some small package. After the mailman left she read who it was from and suddenly had a surprised look on her face as she read the name. Forgetting all about the drinks Yang hurried back outside to Blake while holding up the package.

"Blake, the mail is here, and you're not going to believe who this package is from," said Yang holding it up as she walked back to Blake's side.

Blake sat up and turned her head to read what was on the small brown package, her own eyes shooting open a bit wider as she took in what it said.

"It's from Barbara Dunkelman on Earth, what could she be sending us, that's very curious," said Blake raising an eyebrow and looking at Yang who was equally curious.

"I guess we should open it and see what it is," said Yang shrugging her shoulders while reaching to tear open the flap of the package.

Once the package was open Yang took a look inside and saw a very fancy looking piece of paper. Pulling it out she turned it over and once she realized what it was she almost dropped it, her eyes a whole new level of both shock and excitement. Holding the paper up so Blake could read it, her cat ears stiffed up as well as a huge smile formed on her face. Their eyes met and they couldn't believe how amazing this was.

Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long

You are both hereby cordially invited to attend the wedding of

Barbara Dunkelman and Trevor Collins

Both Blake's and Yang's mouths dropped a bit in both shock and excitement as they read the invitation that was asking both of them to come to the wedding of their Earthling friends. The invitation went on to give a brief summary of Barbara and Trevor's long history together at the company they worked for called Rooster Teeth in Austin, TX. It ended by telling them how Trevor recently proposed to Barbara in a place called Scotland and now wanted to have all of Team RWBY attend their wedding when it happens.

"Holy fur balls, this is so exciting," said Blake with a big ecstatic smile on her face, looking at Yang and seeing a matching expression.

"I know, I remember Barbara introducing me to Trevor when we met and I thought he was one of the coolest guys I've ever met," said Yang remembering that incident. "He also had some of the best looking hair I've ever seen as well, he should probably give Juane some tips if they ever meet."

Blake chuckled a bit as they both reread the invitation and saw the date, saying the wedding was going to be three Earth months from the current time.

"Wow, we gotta call Ruby and Weiss, this invitation only had our names but it said Team RWBY, they must have gotten invitations too," said Blake pulling out her scroll and dialing Weiss's number while Yang got Ruby on hers. Both ladies made video calls so they'd all be able to chat together face to face. After a few seconds the face of Weiss Schnee appeared on Blake's scroll with a big smile

"Hey Blake, I think I have a pretty good idea about why you're calling me," said Weiss in an excited voice, sounding like she also just received some good news.

Meanwhile Ruby had appeared on Yang's scroll and sounded like she'd just had a bowl full of sugar.

"Yang, Yang holy cow Yang, I just got the most amazing letter," said Ruby in her high pitched squeal that sounded like she was about to start bouncing off the walls.

"Hey sis, Weiss, I take it the two of you just received a special invitation in the mail as well? Blake and myself are holding ours in our hands as we speak," said Yang happily, holding it up to show their friends.

All four ladies smiled happily at each other as Ruby and Weiss held up their invitations as well, confirming all four of them were invited to Earth for the wedding.

"This is so amazing, we get to go to Earth again and see everyone, I can't wait, it's so exciting," said Ruby so fast, barely breathing as she spoke.

"I know, it's going to be so much fun to see everyone again, and we've actually never attended a wedding together, so this is a really big deal for the four of us," said Weiss happily.

"So does this mean that the four of us will need to go dress shopping sometime in the near future?" asked Blake, looking over at Yang and secretly getting excited about how much she wanted to see the two of them all dressed up together.

"Oh yeah, and this time I won't be wearing white like I did to the dance back at Beacon. I'm gonna need some color for this, but of course I can't outshine the bride," said Yang confidently as she flipped her hair.

Ruby groaned a bit at the dress part, still preferring her skirts, corsets, and boots to the more fancy dressy stuff.

"I'm not going to have to wear heels am I? Can't I at least stick with my boots and my hood?" asked Ruby hopefully. "Everyone on Earth seems to love my hood, Lindsay sure thought it was awesome."

"Chill out Ruby, if there's one thing we've learned about all those Earthlings at that Rooster Teeth company it's that they basically worship us, so I don't think it'll matter what you wear," said Weiss rolling her eyes a bit.

"Okay then, let's all RSVP right away that we're coming and once we get more details about the wedding we'll all be able to go dress shopping together as a team," said Yang putting a hand up to calm everyone down.

All four ladies took a deep breathe and nodded their heads, still so excited about everything happening and that it would be the perfect excuse for them to do something as a team again. Even better it was the perfect excuse for the four of them to make another visit to Earth, which had become something of a second home for them. This was all turning out to be one hell of a good day.

A/N For those of you that have never read one of my stories before I like to give little summaries at the end of my chapters to discuss things, usually my favorite parts and how I came up with them. Well this story actually came to me pretty spontaneously, usually I map out my stories before I start writing them. When I heard of Barbara's engagement to Trevor I was so happy for both of them, congratulating them both on social media right away. Then while recently watching one of Ruby's V-Tube streams I mentioned in chat how exciting it was about "Yang's friend Barbara" getting engaged, and it got me a shout out from Ruby who mentioned it. Then a light bulb kinda went off in my head, "how cool would it be if Blake and Yang could go to their wedding?" All of a sudden it just kinda came to me and before I knew it I was writing this story out. Arryn and Barbara have been the biggest and most supportive fans of Bumblebee ever since they first started getting shipped together, so it only makes sense that if RWBY were real Barbara would definitely want them at her wedding, so why not write a version where that actually happens? Originally I thought this would be just a one shot, but I ended up thinking of more content than a one shot would have so now it's going to be a short story, most likely three chapters. This is so exciting, I cannot express enough how thrilled I am to be writing this short story and sharing it with all of you. On the off chance that anyone from Rooster Teeth reads this and shares it with Barbara I want to say again how happy I am for her and Trevor, wishing them nothing but the best in your lives which is exactly what you deserve. I'm gonna wrap this up for now, hoping all of you really enjoyed this first chapter, the second will be up most likely a week from now, so be prepared for that. If you liked it please show your support by adding this story to your favorites and leaving a REVIEW! Also please check out my other stories if you haven't already, my completed Miraculous/Power Rangers crossover The Miraculous Power Rangers, and my almost completed Danny Phantom story Danny's Eternal Blue Flame.
