Latias didn't know what to do I was only a week ago when she and her brother where playing though the streets of altomare and now her city was sinking even after her brother sacrificed himself to make a new one it didn't work ash had done everything he could to help her and the city evacuate he called in favors with people she had never heard of it was a short timeframe but everything that could be moved off the island was and finally once everything had been moved and every person saved the city was left alone and abandoned she floated high above what used to be to be her home and now just below the surface of the water was what was left of her home as she dove under to grab the one piece of life left she grab the glowing orb that was once her brother she stared at it as tears started to flood out as she flew higher and higher until altomare was far out of sight as she headed back to the port where ash was waiting for her.
Ash had been waiting on the dock for what felt like hours been had been at most 30mins latias had left to go and collect her brothers soul-dew from the garden and now he was alone pikachu had insisted on coming with but ash hadn't let him do to him still being injured from a recent battle with team rocket he stared into the sky line waiting for her to come back and finally after a wait that felt like infinity he watched as clouds parted from her speed and in a instant she was in front of him hey your back ash said
yeah latias spoke I need a little more time I'm sorry I made you wait
no it's ok ash said
I have made my decision I want to go with you latias said
but what about Lorzen and Bianca ash asked
I already told them and they said to go with you ash
if that's what you want latias as he gently pulled out a love ball
she gently stared I see you got me something special
yeah it felt right he said as she gently pressed her lips against his before tapping the ball
as she disappeared into the love ball ashes face lit up like a Christmas tree he gently grabbed to poke ball and decided to retire to his bed
