Chapter 1: Fools 2nd Meeting.
During the Dark Hour S-E-E-S was exploring Tartarus; currently being on the 99th floor. "There are no enemies detected" Fuuka, their navigator says with a sort of calm tone. "We can send someone ahead to scout out the next floor." After hearing this, Yukari immediately perked up and quickly said "Please send me Yuki." Which made their leader look at Yukari with a somewhat confused expression but before he could bring up his concern Yukari followed up with it. "I know I don't normally do this, but I have this… strange feeling that something might be there." After hearing these concerns Makoto gave the thumbs up to go ahead which made Yukari happy that her leader understood her feelings as she quickly went up to the next floor to scout out the area. Once up there, Yukari started looking around taking notes of the things that were there. She found about 3 shadows and 1 regular. "There doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary. Maybe I was just being paranoid..." Yukari continued to look around the 100th floor until she found the exit. "There's the exit. I should probably wait around till they g-'' Yukari didn't finish her sentence when found something that seemed to be strange. She stared at it for 2 minutes before she thought to herself that there was another human here; the girl had auburn hair that was in a ponytail with barrettes that seemed to form the roman numeral XXII. What striked Yukari's curiosity even further was that she wore the exact same school uniform as her which makes Yukari think to herself. "Why didn't Yuki or Fuuka mention anything about someone being trapped in Tartarus? How long has she been here for? And why hasn't the shadows gone after her yet?" She knew she could probably ask about 5 more questions about this mysterious girl but she knew that it wouldn't bring her any answers as Tartarus was still sort of a mystery on its own. So instead of trying to wake up the girl, who was laying on the ground unconscious. She decided to try and contact Fuuka. "Fuuka can you hear me?" Yukari asks Fuuka. Who gave an immediate response. "I found a girl here, who seems to be unconscious at the moment. I'm wondering if you could bring everyone here so we can escort her out of Tartarus." Yukari said with a little worry in her tone, but with even more concern when Fuuka delivers some bad news. "I'm afraid I can't do that. Leader and the others got ambushed by a strong shadow and also needs some assistance." Yukari's face turns from worried to scared for her friend's life "but I can't just leave this person alone here. They might get attacked by a shadow." Yukari was panicking, not knowing what to do. She was understandably under a lot of pressure. It got worse when she started to hear a voice coming from beside her. "Yukari, is that you?" The sudden voice made Yukari jump a little. "How do you know my name? Who are you?" Yukari said, trying to keep her cool. That made the auburn haired girl raise an eyebrow at Yukari's questions. "'How do I know you?' We met at the dormitory. Remember? You almost shot me when we first met? Then I became the leader of S-E-E-S." The auburn hair girl said which made Yukari also confused which made her shake her head. "We don't have time for this. I have to go save my friends." Yukari takes the auburn haired girl's hand and began to run to where her friends were. While they were running towards her friends the auburn haired girl decided to say her name. "Yukari, it's me, Kotone Shiomi." Yukari didn't pay to much mind to it though; continuing to go to her friends which they do meet up after a while and what she saw was her 3 friends: Makoto Yuki, the leader; Aigis, the anti shadow suppression weapon; and Junpei Iori, the self proclaimed "Ace Detective." Makoto summons his persona Orpheus and launches a fireball at the shadow, He then looks at Yukari and gives a reassuring nod. "Yukari, who is that? Why is he here? Did he just summon a persona?" Though the enemy wasn't done yet, getting back up the small shadow pulls up its slingshot and shoots an electric arrow at Makoto. This knocks him to the ground. Kotone, who was watching this, refused to stay still, rushing towards the enemy. She pulls out her naginata. Piercing the enemy which in turn knocks the shadow down surprising everyone there, their eyes wide only being able to stare, astonished at what she just did. They only snap out of it when Kotone yells. "It's time for an all out attack!!". Though they weren't prepared for her to do that they go with the action anyway, all of them attacking the shadow and taking it down. "The… enemy has been defeated?". After a while everyone gathers at the starting floor. With every member of S-E-E-S having many questions and are shocked to see her. The only person who talked was the leader Makoto Yuki. "Who are you? How did you survive in Tartarus for so long?" The leader was asking a lot of reasonable questions while looking at Kotone with his usual nonchalant expression. "My name is Kotone Shiomi and I am the leader of S-E-E-S" "Leader of S-E-E-S? How is that possible if Makoto is the leader of S-E-E-S. Also I never met you before despite us having the same uniform." Junpei says quickly, still trying to make sense of it all. "What are you talking about Junpei we're in the same class 2-2." Junpei was shocked to hear that Kotone knew the exact class that he was in but what was truly on his mind was that she gave him the same feeling that he felt the first time he met his leader in class. "We should take her to live with us in the dorms." The short blond haired girl said randomly out of nowhere which didn't surprise most of the members of S-E-E-S except the mature lady with long red hair who had her fingers on her chin confused by Aigis's suggestion. "Why do you suggest that?" Mitsuru asks Aigis. Mitsuru was strangely curious about why Aigis would suggest such a thing. Especially considering the things they have to do in the dead of night. Aigis looks back at Kotone who seemed to be not as confused as the others then she looks back at Mitsuru; "I think it's possible she has the 'potential'. Mitsuru looks at Kotone for only a second then looks back at Aigis, waiting for the possibility that she says something. She knew that Aigis isn't someone who normally jokes around at all, but the thought of someone who just mysteriously appeared in Tartarus sounds like an absurd thing to her. Everyone around her was shocked that the calm and mature student council president Mitsuru was in such a long slump. The area around them was almost too silent aside from the potential sound of a clock ticking. It was when someone eventually decides to speak up that breaks the silence that fell upon the group of teenagers. "I think we should also let her live with us in the dorms for now." The leader says; somehow still calm despite everything that's been going on which made Yukari chuckle. "Of course you still act like this is your average sunday. It's so like you to do that." "I guess that's one of the reasons he's our leader." The short silver haired guy Akihiko says nodding his head agreeingly. "So it's decided. You are going to live in the dormitory with us." Mitsuru wasn't sure if this was a good idea but she trusted her leader and he has proven time and time again that he is both reliable and responsible, but she still couldn't shake the feeling that fate has drastically changed from its original course. As they all begin to leave, the elementary schooler Ken was talking to Akihiko about how he has this strange feeling within him. "I don't know. It just feels like… Like we have met before this. Like in some other time or place. Like she just understands us on a personal level." Ken says to Akihiko who at first was looking at him confused then his face relaxed a lot when he said that. "I-" "I know how you feel man. It's just like a sorta deja vu feeling. I don't think it's just you either, but don't worry Junpei Iori, Ace detective is on the case." Junpei said. Cutting Akihiko off before he could say a single word, just for Yukari to reply as soon as he said that. "More like Stupei, Ace Defective." Junpei got a little mad when she said that, looking at her and lightly stomping his feet on the ground. "Can't you just put that to rest in its grave?" he said almost childishly; which made Ken let out a small chuckle, sighing right after. Hoping that things would never change for their group. They all enter the dorms after what felt like minutes of walking. Kotone gets shown to her new room, Kotone nodded and accepted settling down in her room. After a while Kotone would be laying on the bed when she heard a knock at the door. She looks at it and asks who it was. She went and opened the door to see that it was Yukari; who brought some snacks. They both sat down at the table that was in the middle of the room waiting for someone to say anything. "I wanted to talk about what you said at Tartarus. About me meeting you at the dorms." Yukari broke the silence with the question that Kotone knew she was going to ask but then she shakes her head. "It's nothing. I might've just been remembering things wrong." Kotone chuckles to herself. "Oh. I understand… But if its ok with you, can we still be friends? I know we just met and all but I just know we have lots of things in common with each other." Yukari holds out her hand. Waiting to see Kotone's reaction only to be surprised when she shakes her hand and excitedly says "yes". Without warning Kotone suddenly hears a voice in her head which she knew was similar to what she experienced before. "I am thou, thou art I. Thou hath rebirth a new vow. With the reawakened Lovers arcana thou shall lead to new possibilities and new power." "huh? Is something wrong Shiomi?" Yukari said, worried that Kotone hasn't said anything; Kotone reassuring her friend that everything was alright as Yukari smiles and leaves and Kotone goes to bed.
