"Hey, where's Knux Jr, she should be here by now." Moonie whispered to Miko. It was morning and both cubs were in class sitting on the rug with their classmates for Circle Time noticing their cousin wasn't there making both sibs wonder where she was but could ask their dads later plus Moonie hoped her brother would do well in his T-Ball tryouts later.
"Maybe she isn't feeling well or her dad kept her home, after yesterday." Miko said to her going to their desk paying attention to the teacher knowing soon, they'd have outside play making Moonie grin as she knew her brother had their dad's energy so outside play helped him seeing Mikey Jr at a desk by himself making Moonie feel bad for the cub as not a lot of kids liked to hang out with him but during outside-play Miko and some boys were playing baseball but saw the baseball aboht to hit Mikey Jr making a shield in front of the hedgehog cub feeling the ball hit her eye stunning Mikey Jr but also Miko.
"It's fine not mad, but you almost hit Mikey if I hadn't blocked it. Please don't give anybody black eyes at tryouts later. I can tell dads what happened, so they don't get mad or think I got in a fight." Moonie said.
"It's gonna be hard for her to nap later, with that eye." Mickey said seeing Miko nod. He was relievedMoonie wasn't mad at him but could show he was sorry later seeing it was lunchtime knowing after that, it would be naptime hoping Moonie would be able to nap p.
"You okay Moonie, and very sweet you took a baseball in the face to protect a classmate. That's very sweet of you especially since it was Mikey'scub." Moonie heard Shadow tell her. It was afternoon and she and Shadow were at home while Miko and Sonic were at thepark so Miko could go to tryouts. "I hope he makes the team, honey." Shadow told her as he'd put a cold cloth on her eye.
"Me too, honey as Miko was pumped up for this all day." Moonie mumbled to him having a snack but colouring makingShadow smile as it was calming her down. After a while, Miko and Sonic returned making her curious about how her brother had dobe. "We have to wait and see honey but the coach was impressed." Sonic told them making Moonie relieved hearing her brother ask how her eye was.
"It hurts but it's okay. I hope you get on the team." she replied to him.
"Thanks sis, as daddy said I did pretty good." Miko told her smiling.
Plus Shadow, Sonic and Moonie were surprised seeing Miko had a loose tooth, his first one telling him when it came out, a very special visitor would cone in the middle of the night and leave a gift in exchange for his loose tooth under the pillow which both cubs fouhd awesome going to play while dinner was being prepared
