LOCATION: NEST 2
Natasha calculated their time as she doubted that Secretary Ross was going to keep those missiles grounded for much longer,
Even with the Black Widow still being in the City- in fact knowing Ross he'd probably consider her death as an unfortunate bonus
'We're running out of time' Natasha thought to herself as they chased after Nikolai.
They entered a room where they found a few supplies, both of them were running very low on ammunition,
"Do you think the Nemesis is done for good?" Jill asked Natasha who was busy fixing her broken nose back into place, when she suddenly spots a file that cried out for her attention-
"I can't see how anything could survive that" she mumbled as she picked up a green file labelled 'Electromagnetic Weapon Programme' A prototype weapon that Umbrella had been developing in partnership with the U.S. Forces,
Project Title: Ferromagnetic Infantry-Use Next Generation Railgun. Development Codename: FINGeR, Natasha laughed- they really couldn't fit an 'e' word in the title,
She quickly grazed the document:
'Suppression of new bioweapons in case of outbreak'- 'obliterating the target leaving no trace behind' – 'mobility may be problematic' – 'requires multiple power sources'
She quickly pocketed the file for later,
All that mattered was catching up to Nikolai and getting that vaccine back.
They exit the storage room into a large mostly empty hangar, it all looked far too clean compared to every where else the two women had been in NEST 2.
Natasha brought out her Glock, even with her slightly mismatched shoulder she was sure that she was would still be an excellent shot.
They followed the walkway to another set of doors, as soon as they enter, they're met the end of a gun.
Natasha glared at Nikolai- she should just kill him now and save anyone else the trouble, but as per often recently the 'Steve Rogers' on her shoulder reminded her that she was an Avenger and not a killer- not anymore.
"It's done! Give me the vaccine you greedy son of a bitch"
Jill retrieved her own hand gun, she just hoped that Natasha would be able to pry the vaccine away from him without any more bullshit
"No, no. You print money, I like money we should make our an ongoing agreement Black Widow" he held the vaccine vial in his hand and over the side of the high walkway
"Believe me, I can shoot you before you pull that trigger" Natasha hissed at him,
Nikolai shook his head
"Shoot me and I'll destroy it!" he yelled back at her.
Natasha was thinking faster than she had ever thought before, Nikolai could see it in her eyes as he tightened the grip on his own trigger
"Drop the gun!"
Jill shook her head "I'm sick of this assholes shit" Jill hissed, as Black Widow decided-
But before she could pull her trigger the gangway around them collapsed
"Natasha!" Jill yelled,
The bullet she fired when into the distance as her Glock was knocked out of her grip as Jill and Natasha both fell down into the weapons testing area-
"You've got to be shitting me" Jill whispered as a mass of organic matter poured into the room, somehow the Nemesis had evolved again by using the acid that they'd dissolved it in, it now resembled a nightmare of flesh and muscle- it was like nothing the Black Widow had ever seen before.
"Have you ever seen anything so incredible" Nikolai yelled down to them as the Nemesis settled into its new form
"The combat data on this would be worth millions, but uh- you know how it is the city's about to explode and you can't put a price on a life. Good Luck!" he laughed as he left them to it
"NIKOLAI!" Jill angrily screamed after the fleeing mercenary
"Natasha, Jill!" Carlos yelled down to them,
His jaw dropped once he noticed the enormous flesh monster, crafted of the remains of the creature he'd thought he'd destroyed
"Go after Nikolai, he's got the vaccine!" Jill yelled up to him as the deformed body of the Nemesis emerged out of layers of decomposing flesh
"What about the two of you?" he asked,
"We're running out of time, we've got this!" Natasha insisted.
Carlos didn't believe in a lot of things- not anymore, but he definitely believed in them
"I know you do" he mumbled as he raced off to see if he could catch that mother fucker and get that vaccine back.

Jill turned to face the Nemesis for what she hoped would be the final time
"Look, just so you know. This is the last fucking time!" Jill yelled.
Natasha instinctively reached for both of her handguns;
She realised that the other was now gone leaving her with just the one
"Jill over there" Natasha motioned to the device that clearly this entire room had been created for 'it has to be the 'FINGeR project' from what she'd read about the 'Electromagnetic Railgun' she had no doubt that it would make quick work of the Nemesis.
Jill took the enormous weapon out of its case; she firmly held the giant weapon with both hands and once the screen was green she fired.
The power of the weapon surprised both women, Jill felt she was lucky to not get knocked out by the knockback as a bright electromagnetic laser pierced the creatures form, it roared in pain.
Natasha watched as the power inputs for the weapon retracted in its cooldown mode, they slowly made their way back into position when four of the decided to jam
"Cooldown in progress" the computer announced, when the screen flashed red
"Damn it needs power!" Jill exclaimed as she placed 'FINGeR' back into its compartment
"I'll distract- you push the power inputs back into place" Natasha stated, she turned to the creature with a growl of contempt,
Natasha noticed several glowing areas that had been exposed by the creature's transformation, she shot one of them and the Nemesis roared in pain,
"Felt that did you? How about some more?" Black Widow flipped as the creature 'Which was now the size of the room' waved its tentacle across the stretch of area,
Jill couldn't get close enough to the power supply units whilst it was actively this hostile, so she joined in on the shooting practice- shoot the bulging glowing parts, it was a classic.
Once all the glowing parts had been shot out the creature collapsed allowing the both of them the time, they needed to get one power source each forced back in.
The creature quickly regained its composure as it roared at the both of them
"Go ahead, we're gonna put you right back on your ass" Jill yelled as they kept firing, acid emitted from the creature raining hot acid on top of them,
Jill jumped back out of the creatures firing range, but Natasha shot out her grappling hook propelling her body into the air where she swings around the acid fired towards her.
Suddenly she spots the last sensitive spot that they she needed to destroy as it hid inside the creature's open ribcage.
Black Widow took her shot whist her body still flew around in the air, her bullet hit it's intended target.
Black Widow landed on the ground as the creature collapsed, Jill raced towards one of the red power sources whilst Natasha went for the other.
"You don't know, I know how to fuck you up!" Jill yelled as all the power sources were now back in place
"All power sources activated" the computer announced,
Jill ran back to the Railgun, she quickly pulled the heavy weapon out of its compartment where all the green lights flashed
"I am so sick of your shit!" Jill yelled as 'FINGeR' unleashed another bright flash of electricity straight through the Nemesis's chest causing it to convulse on the ground in a giant heap-
"Natasha help me" Jill said as she moved closer to the downed monster, but the Railgun was ridiculously heavy to move.
Natasha gripped onto the other side of 'FINGeR' as they forced the enormous barrel of the Railgun into the Nemesis's giant mouth,
Black Widow clicked the switches on the screen that charged up an electrical current of incredible destructive power,
"Come on" she hissed as they both used all their strength to keep the Railgun jammed in the creatures mouth,
The Nemesis began to violently convulse with the current of power that was forced through it
"NEXT TIME, TAKE A FUCKING HINT!" Jill screamed as all of a sudden, the explosive force sent them both flying backwards as the Nemesis was reduced to a torrent of blood and flesh.
The blood of the dead B.O.W flooded the entire floor underneath their exhausted bodies,
Jill released a deep breath as she shook off the gunk that covered her skin
"Good riddance" she hissed at what was left of the monsters deformed insides.
Natasha rubbed her face; she was covered in the remains of the Nemesis-
Her heart felt ready to pound straight out of her chest.
It was done, the creature was finally dead.

Black Widow painfully got back up to her feet and grabbed onto Jill, they were both beyond exhausted, but there was still work to be done.
They turned to look at their messy handwork, the creatures skeletal structure was now the only evidence that it ever existed
"Let's go" Black Widow stated as she made a beeline towards a ladder that led back up to the above walkway-
She tried to not think too much about what she was covered in, all that mattered was catching up to Carlos and Nikolai and getting that cure back
"I cant let him get away with that vaccine, we can still catch him" Natasha insisted as they exited the 'FINGeR' testing area where they followed the corridor into a giant chamber 'the very centre of NEST 2'
Jill looked down off the gangway, she couldn't even see the bottom-
Natasha quickly ran to the elevator in the middle, she imagined that it would lead up to the roof where they would also find their means of escape, she pushed the button for roof.
The second the elevator doors opened Natasha sprinted ahead at a speed Jill couldn't physically match-
They both ran for the light of the rising dawn outside.
