Dressed in his newly advanced super suit (courtesy of Edna Mode), Peter Parker sat in a television studio for an interview.
His new suit design is based on athletic wear and compression clothing. The most prominent aspect of the suit that distinguishes it from others is the white spider symbol. While the suit retains the classic red and blue color scheme, it features a giant white spider on the chest instead of the traditional black spider. The spider has long legs and ends at the thin blue piping of the suit. The shoes have also been modernized, now featuring a sneaker-style design instead of knee-high boots.
Peter was trying to get the tiny microphone on his suit, without revealing his identity. "Is this thing on?" he asked as he tapped the mic. "I haven't done anything like this in maybe five years. No idea if my mask is messing with it."
Then it cuts to Peter sitting down, relaxing, and ready to be asked questions. "So, Spider-Man, where do you stand on secret identities?"
"That's a fair question," Peter admitted with a shrug, trying to get more comfortable in his seat. "Most heroes these days don't keep their identities. Either purposefully or it just ends up happening." He then leaned forward and rested his hands on the table. "I keep my identity a secret because I have people I need to protect. Without this mask, they'd be bigger targets than me."
Then it jumps to Violet, sporting a new hairstyle and a newly-developed suit, and she's being asked the same question.
Violet's new suit was sort of similar suit to the one she used when they started six years ago, but there were a few changes. Her super-suit consists of a red unitard with black bottoms and an i emblem on the chest, along with an orange belt, black gloves, thigh-high black boots, and a black eye mask. She also doesn't wear her orange headband anymore due to the fact she has shortened her hair so that it ends just above her shoulders and splits off her face down the middle. The biggest change in her suit design is the all-black skirt she now wears with a red highlight at the end.
"Honestly? I wear the mask because I don't want to be recognized." Violet admitted with a shrug and played with her domino mask a little. "Not to mention that it came with the suit. I don't need people running up to me and asking me for autographs and photos when I'm just going to the...supermarket."
Then it jumps to Dash, who was sporting a similar haircut after all these years.
Dash's new suit was similar to yet different from his original one. His neck to his chest sported a black color with the same "I" insignia. The suit itself was entirely red, save for his boots and gloves. A yellow-golden belt encircled his waist. The mask remained unchanged, as did his attitude.
"Please," Dash said as he lay back in the chair, crossing his left leg over his right. "I'm already getting chased by the ladies." He leaned closer to the lady reporter and whispered. "That's where the super speed really comes in handy." Then he leaned back in the chair and placed a hand over the back of the chair. "I don't need anyone knowing who I am, chasing me down at my own house."
"The Incredibles, they're a fun group," Peter said as he was asked about his companions. "Ultraviolet and I work well together; it seems we even have a ship name for us now."
"Oh my gosh," the reporter admitted. "I've heard of that. Isn't it like InvisibleSpider or something?"
"UltraSpider," Peter remembered as he snapped his fingers. "That's it. It's cute, but...Nah, I don't know. If she saw who was underneath, she'd probably get sick of me."
"Oh, yeah, I'd get quickly sick of hanging out with Spider-Man all the time," Violet admitted, going with the answers that'd keep her and Peter's identity safe. "I mean, I'm sick of the quips almost as fast as the enemies we fight. Could you imagine hanging out with someone inside these tight suits, then having to deal with them outside of the job? That would be too much for me to handle."
"I mean, they're good, nice people," Dash said, trying to keep it cool for the interview. "But...come on, The Dash is where the real party is. I'm the guy who has to come in and save everyone."
"I'm the guy who usually needs to stop the Dash before he does something stupid and runs into the fire," Peter said, rolling his eyes beneath the mask. "He likes to run first, think second. That's where I and Ultraviolet come in handy. We think before we jump into a fire."
"You have no idea how hard it is being almost the only girl on this team," Violet said with a sigh. "The guys are great when they work together, but sometimes they forget to play nice. They start showing off and competing against each other instead of working together. It's like I need to come over and smack them upside the head to get them back on track. You have no idea about the stress I deal with every day. Trust me, you don't want to know."
INCREDIBLE HEROES 3
TRIAL BY FIRE
Peter felt a rush of adrenaline as he stepped off the edge of the plane, the wind whipping past him and his heart pounding in his chest. He had been looking forward to this moment for weeks, and now he was finally freefalling toward the city below. As he plummeted through the clouds, he couldn't help but feel a sense of liberation that he had never experienced before.
When he reached the optimal altitude, he activated the web shooters on his newly acquired suit and shot out a web line that anchored onto a nearby building. He swung up and out of the dive, his body soaring through the air with a newfound sense of freedom. The wind rushed past him, and he couldn't help but shout out in exhilaration as he swung from building to building, his webbing shooting out and retracting in time with his movements.
Despite having done this so many times before, Peter couldn't get enough of it. The sensation of swooping through the air, the rush of the wind in his ears, and the thrill of being Spider-Man was just as intoxicating as it had been the very first time he had donned the suit. He continued to swing through the bustling streets of Metroville, laughing and enjoying every moment of the experience.
"What do you have for me today, Metroville?" Peter wondered as he swung around.
"All units, level four mobilization. Location, Fisk Tower."
"Fisk?" Peter asked in glee as he quickly changed the direction of his swing, making his way toward Fisk Tower. "Yes!"
Swinging around the city, shooting off web after web to dodge buildings. While he was on his way, he quickly sent out a call to his partners in crime fighting.
"This better be good," Violet warned Peter from where she currently was. "You know what today is. Unless you forgot."
"They've got Willy dead to rights!" Peter was happy to report to his girlfriend.
"What?" Violet asked in shock. "Today of all days?"
"Come on, we've been waiting five years to take him down," Peter says as he is about to show up at the steps of Fisk Tower. "You really want to let this time slip through our fingers?"
He then landed right outside of the building and waited for Violet to respond. Hearing a sigh of aggravation on the other end, it seems she has agreed to help.
"I'll get a lift from Dash, don't wait for us. Do what you do best, Spider-Man." Violet tells him before hanging up.
"As you command." Peter saw he had the okay to leap in first swung in and landed on the side of a SWAT truck. When he got there, he met Yuriko "Yuri" Watanabe, the Captain of the police department and friend of the heroes. "Yuri. I'm here to help."
"If he makes it out of the building we're gonna lose him," Yuri warned him,
Peter looked at all of the gunfire and pointed toward them. "I'm gonna go, uh..."
Yuri nodded and knew it was his time. "Do your thing."
"Yes!" Peter cheered as he leaped into action. "Today's the day, Willie."
Spidey leaps toward the building, ensnaring several thugs with his webs to obscure their vision, providing the police with the chance they need to breach the premises. Swinging into action, he shatters a window with a well-aimed kick and enters the fray, joining forces with the officers to take on Fisk's henchmen.
"I'll clear a path! Follow me!" Peter yelled, leaping into action and shooting webs to subdue some of the assailants.
Sensing another one sneaking up from behind, he vaulted into the air and fired two webs, yanking himself to collide with the thug and neutralize him. As he subdued all the attackers, new adversaries emerged on the upper floors, opening fire on the police officers.
"Down, down, down!" An officer cried.
"Gotta take those shooters out," Peter said as he shot out two webs, yanking himself upward where he then kicked one of the shooters into a wall, knocking him out.
"You shouldn't have messed with the Kingpin." One of them said as they tried to shoot Peter.
"Yeah, well, it's a specialty of mine!" Peter called as he dodged several bullets, then finally went in, webbing his face, and yanking him towards Peter who then spun and knocked him out with a kick to the face. "Anyone else?"
The final thug attempted to flee, but Peter halted his escape by firing a trip mine that pulled him into the nearest wall, neutralizing him. While Peter admired his handiwork, the SWAT team approached the elevator and pressed the button, only to find it had been disabled.
"They shut the elevators down! Take the stairs!" The SWAT leader said as they headed for the stairway.
Peter however looked over towards the stairway and back to the elevator shaft. "I prefer a more direct approach." He approached the elevator shaft and opened it up with his super strength before he then crawled up it to reach the higher floors.
Peter then sees he is getting a call from Yuri in his mask. "Spider-Man, status?"
"Heading to the upper floors- and hoping nobody turns on the elevators," Peter stated as he crawled up, seeing the elevators were being damaged from the inside.
"Our choppers are taking fire, looks like Fisk has armed men on every floor," Yuri informed him.
"He's desperate…" Peter took notice of this.
"…and he's hitting us with everything he's got," Yuri stated.
"I have to find him and end this," Peter said as he crawled through the shaft into the air vents.
"Not yet. We just picked up chatter – they're wiping all their data servers. We need that evidence if we want to put him away for good." Yuri said as Peter dropped down from the vents into the room with Fisk's men everywhere.
"Okay, server room it is," Peter said as he shot several webs out to the Fisk thugs who didn't even notice him. He then sensed someone with a gun behind him, causing him to spin around and dodge the attacks as he tried to call Violet and Dash. "Hey, where you guys at?"
"We had to stop and take out some of Fisk's goons downtown." Violet defended as she was conjuring a force field around her and Dash, who sped around the field to then punch them out. "Take Fisk down alone if we don't make it there in time!"
"I'm on it, milady!" Peter stated as he webbed himself upward where the server room was.
" If I go in this way they'll destroy all the evidence. I should look for a sneaky way in." Peter then looked around where he spotted a vent on the ceiling that led right into that room. "There we go." He then jumps into a ventilation shaft and crawls his way around. "It's like my own private entrance" He continued to crawl his way around as he noticed how clean the vents were. "Fisk may be a dirty criminal, but he has remarkably clean air vents."
"Hurry up! The boss wants everything erased!"
"I can't make it delete any faster."
Spidey jumps into the server room filled with thugs they all turn to see him fall from the ceiling. "Is this tech support?" He asked as he then shot a web at one of the goons, yanking the gun out of their hands, and then smacking them in the face with it. "I forgot my password."
"Spider-Man!"
"Don't let him near the console!"
They then began to attack Spider-Man, trying to fight him off as Peter only leaped around, capable of dodging all of their gunfire. But he also knew he needed to wrap this up quickly since he had somewhere else to be.
"Okay, guys, I would usually draw this out, but I have somewhere important to be," Peter said as he webbed the ceiling debris, sending it toppling on top of them. "And I don't have time for a subtle approach."
"Warning. Full deletion is imminent."
"Gotta access that console before everything's gone," Peter said as he ran over and plugged a hard drive into the computer to download everything they were deleting. "Let's see just how good their security is. Oh, you guys forgot the latest kernel patch, tsk-tsk…"
Wilson Fisk's face appears on a huge screen in front of Peter. "Hiding in the server room? Cowardly… even for you."
"Says the guy frantically erasing his search history." Peter knew Fisk by now to know he was only trying to get under his skin.
"After all these years, you're still just an ignorant child…" Fisk scoffed.
"True, but that's part of my charm, isn't it?" Peter stated proud of that statement.
Fisk saw Peter manage to download what he was trying to dealer, which was a lot of incriminating evidence against him. "Damn you. Get that door down, now!"
The doors were then broken open as a lot of bandits rushed into the room. Peter saw he needed a bit longer to download and copy everything onto the drive, so he needed to hold them off.
"Get past him! Destroy everything!" Fisk cried as Peter sprung into action, trying his best to keep them from shooting the consol with their guns. "Look around you! I did this! What have you ever done that mattered?"
"Well, there was that time I took down a pompous, overstuffed crime lord before breakfast," Peter stated, knowing he was bound to win this fight.
"Without me, the scum I kept in check will run rampant. And it'll be your fault." Fisk informed him.
Peter just saw this as him trying to get underneath his skin once more. "Been a long, tough road, Fisk. Almost sad to see it end."
"Mere prelude." Fisk scoffed.
Peter then stopped the last thug when he punched him in the face, knocking him down. "Well, get ready for the main event."
There was then a loud explosion, causing Peter to spin and run out the doors of the server room after collecting his drive. He looked out and saw there were a lot of bombs going off from above. The SWAT team then comes and breaks in the door, making their way inside.
"It's clear, move up!" An officer said as they met up with Peter.
"Hey, guys!" Peter said as he kneeled down to avoid the bomb's debris. "I guess bombs are part of Willie's getaway plan."
"AAHH! Help!" They heard civilians call out.
"Sounds like they're trapped…" Peter whispered.
"You go after them, we'll look for the bombs." The officer promised Peter.
Peter leaped and shot two webs to reach the upper floor with the offices, seeing a lot of innocent workers being harmed by the incoming debris from the bombs exploding.
"Everyone clear out! Evacuate the building!" He called as he ran to find people who were trapped. He found a large chunk of debris keeping people from escaping and yanked it away with some webbing.
"I heard more people back that way!" A woman said as Peter made his way further inside.
"I'll find them!" Peter promised as he kept going.
As Peter made his way further into the debris and found a few people trapped under a support beam.
"Spider-Man! We can't move, we're pinned down!"
Peter crawled his way close and prepared to lift it. "I'll lift it. When you're free, get out, fast. If you can walk, help the injured. Got it?"
Peter started to raise the support beam carefully. Fortunately, the individuals were not hurt, only trapped, as he worked to extricate them from the rubble. However, as he proceeded, more debris tumbled onto his load, complicating the task. Summoning all his might, he finally managed to liberate them from the entanglement.
"Go, go, go!" Peter tells them.
The two women managed to get out of the debris
"Thank you! He did it!"
"Let's go!"
Peter saw he was now cornered with only a vent to get through. "Okay Willie, comin' your way." he then made his way into the vent and got a call from Yuri again. "Yuri."
"Spider-Man, it's Yuri."
"How are we doing, Captain?" Peter asked as he continued to make his way through, beginning to reach the end of the vent, and then going up the stairway towards Fisk's office.
"Could be better. Our choppers took a beating- we just had to ground our last one. If Fisk calls in a chopper, we have no one to stop it from landing." Yuri informed him.
"And no one to chase him if he flies away…"
"Why do I get the feeling that's what he was planning all along?" Yuri asks.
"Because he probably was," Peter stated as he saw all the debris in the way. He goes into the next room and finds the SWAT squad there. "You guys all right?"
"We were just about to call for backup." He tells Peter.
"I think I'm it," Peter said as he eyed the
"Lead the way, we'll be right behind you." He tells Peter, who walks in front of them and starts to head towards Fisk's office. As he did, the officer leaned over to his radio. "Heads up, boss…"
They aim the guns at Spidey but didn't seem to put in that he could sense it. But before he reacted and fought them off, a giant gust of wind came in, and Peter turned to see everyone was knocked over. He saw Dash leaning against the wall, checking his phone when he finished the job.
"You guys were in bed with Fisk all along? Aww, now I'll never get that image out of my head!" Peter exclaimed at the unconscious people.
"That is something I never wanted in my head," Dash stated as he strolled over towards Peter.
"Where is your sister?" Peter asks.
The door then bursted open and Violet came in panting and sweating. She seemed exhausted from the running and fighting she had to do to reach them.
"I had to climb...fifty stories to get up here!" Violet cried in anger.
Peter and Dash pointed to one another exclaiming, "It was his fault!"
"Let's just end this!" Violet cried as she wiped off the sweat. "I don't want to be dealing with this today!"
They approached the doors where they then allowed Violet to use her force fields and smash the doors off their hinges as they made their way inside. When they did, they saw Fisk was sitting at his desk, writing some papers.
"Writing your memoirs? Don't forget the hyphen between "Spider" and "Man."" Peter informed him. "And Ultraviolet is all one word."
Fisk ignored him and began using intercom. LGet the chopper ready. I won't be long." He then got up as he looked towards the teenagers. "I'm surprised you made it this far. But your foolishness ends now."
He enters a special room and closes the thick glass door behind him.
"Uh… he do know we can still see him, right?" Dash asks.
"Eight years of this insolence…" Fisk stated as automatic turrets appear in the room under two pillars and aimed at them.
"Couldn't go down easy for us?" Violet sighed.
The turrets opened fire, causing Violet to step forward and using a forcefield to block the bullets. They saw they were safe and started to come up with a plan.
"Okay, what's the plan?" Dash asks.
"Well, looks like these turrets are automatically aiming at us using either our heat signatures or motion sensors." Peter took a guess. He then looked over towards Fisk and smiled. "So, let's use it to our advantage."
"How do you plan that?" Violet asks.
"Dash, run when Violet lowers the forcefield and plant yourself in front of that glass Fisk is hiding behind." Peter told him the plan. "Violet, remember when you managed to turn others Invisible?"
"I did it once, and it was a really awkward conversation about where your clothes were." Violet reminded Peter.
"I think it was more the fact you left me visible standing there without them." Peter defended that night. "But back to our current situation, you need to at least get these turrets to believe that we're invisible or at least get their attention on Dash."
"Alright, when?" Violet asks.
"Wait for them to reload." Peter stated, watching the turrets, waiting for their opening. "Go!"
Dash sped around while Violet concentrated a forcefield around her and Peter to keep the fire off of them. Dash then sped as fast as he could around, getting himself in front of the glass behind Fisk.
"What are you doing?!" Fisk asked as the turrets prepared to open fire. When they did, Dash ran to get away as the turrets opened fire and began breaking glass door. "How is this happening?!"
"What's wrong, Willie?" Peter asked as he then shot webbing at the turrets to blind them. "You seem angry…"
Violet then wrapped a forcefield around the blinded turrets, yanking them from the pillars. Once she did, she then benga throwing them towards the glass, shattering it. Fisk covered his face to drop the glass when he saw they broke through.
"I will DESTROY you!" Fisk proclaimed as he ran his way towards them.
Fisk then went to try and clobber them. But Violet worked fast and created a forcefield around them. Which that did manage to save them, but Fisk's massive strength ended with the floor under them crumbling and they were sent falling several stories.
Violet created another forcefield around her and Dash as they fell. But Peter had different ideas as he went after Fisk himself. He punched Fisk over and over, ending with them landing on a pathway between the two sides of the building. When they landed there, Fisk prepared to attack Peter as he climbed on top and prepared to crush him.
Peter however worked fast as he then shot out a web for Violet to yank and save him last second. Peter then used two forcefields Violet provided as a slingshot and flew himself right into Fisk, tackling him and punching him over and over before they crashed through the main floor. When they reached it, Peter shot out a cocoon to catch Fisk to save him from hitting the ground.
Violet and Dash descended with Peter coming down on a web to show himself. The entire ground floor was surrounded by cops as they came and were prepared to arrest Fisk.
"Well, Willy, it looks like all good things must come to an end." Peter stated.
Violet cleared her throat, getting Peter's attention. "Speaking of which..."
"Shoot!" Peter finally remembered.
"Amber Orion." The ceremony was still going on as they made their way back. Dash sped them over where they then quickly ran as they were changing out of their superhero attire. "Violet Parr."
Violet ran to the stage as she turned and saw peyer in his gown but with the mask over the hat. "The mask! You've still got the mask!"
Peter stopped and felt his face, realizing his mistake and quickly removed his hat to remove the mask quickly.
"Peter Parker."
Peter then ran his way onto the stage where he then found his way up and got his diploma. He sighed as he saw he was ready to finally get his diploma and open up a new chapter in his life.
Later on that day, the Parker's and Parr's were having a celebration on their balcony/backyard. They were having a bit of a cookout to celebrate, but there was also something else that was going to make this day special. While the others were talking, Peter walked and dragged Violet off, confusing her a little.
"Hey, what's up?" Violet asked.
"Do I need a reason to get my girlfriend alone?" Peter asked, as he leaned in to kiss her.
Violet however knew he was up to something and stopped the kiss. "Peter..."
Peter chuckled and saw she sees through him. "Sorry. I'm a little scared about what I'm about to do." He then showed a box to her, confusing Violet. "It's not what you think."
"I hope not." Violet laughed.
Peter then opened the box to show it had a key in it. "You know I love your family, and I love my aunt...but we need a little space of our own, wouldn't you say?"
"I'm still waiting for you to properly ask me." Violet stated.
Peter chuckled as he decided to play along. "Violet Parr, the love of my life, you want to move in together?"
Violet smiled with a nod. "There it is." She then took the key and smiled as she eyed Peter. "Yes. I'd love to move in with you."
Violet then pulled Peter in for a kiss and they happened to overhear everyone else. They looked over and saw their family were watching the whole thing and cheered, some even clapping.
"About time." Helen told them.
Violet rolled her eyes at her moms behavior and turned towards Peter. "This is going to be a big adjustment, you know? No matter what happens, we need to remember that."
"Come on, we're superheroes. What can happen?" Peter asked.
