At the tender age of 6, Izuku had found himself in a situation that wasn't home.
It was supposed to be a nice day, play with Kaachan, get the latest All-Might merchandise, and then go home to a nice steaming bowl of Katsudon prepped by his mother.
Every day, he dreamed of being an amazing hero in a world where humanity developed superpowers called 'Quirks'. He had been diagnosed with a Quirk but it was an Unknown Factor. Izuku didn't know when it would awaken, but he kept himself excited, anticipating the day when he would discover what his power was.
Then, as he was heading home, he saw his house on fire. Was it a Villain Attack? Was his mom okay? He couldn't ponder on these questions as a shadowy figure loomed over him before pulling him into a dark abyss...and then he found himself in a sterile white room with just a bed, a television, and a desk.
"You are a very interesting specimen, my boy." A voice crackled electronically from the TV. "I hope you like your new home. We shall be helping you discover the true extent of your Quirk."
Izuku didn't know why but despite the man behind the TV saying they were going to 'help' him, he didn't trust them in the slightest. As of right now, all he could hope for was that he could be rescued.

It had been a week and Izuku had mostly settled into his predicament as best he could for a child his age. Shady-looking people would come in and lead him out and down a sterile white hallway. Several doors were standing next to where his room was, all with the number five on them.
They would then bring him to a laboratory and have him sit in a chair, take his shirt off, and do a full-body check-up. Afterward, they'd take a sample of his blood for analysis and then read over some statistics before sending him back to his room.
Izuku was given simple accommodations, such as books to read, toys to play with, food to eat, videos to watch, and games to play. His room also had a bathroom he could clean himself in.
Despite everything, Izuku still didn't trust whatever his abductors had planned for him. They tried to mask their intentions with friendly words and such, but Izuku wasn't fooled, he was blessed with an analytical mind that would make even Sherlock Holmes impressed.
Today was different now, the shady men came again, but this time, they led him to a colorful room. The floor was aesthetically decorated with dark brown wood panels, the walls a light uniform tan. There were toys, puzzles, games, and books of all kinds as well as a large TV.
"Here you are, son." One of the men said. "We figured now was the time to introduce you to your new friends."
Izuku then noticed that sitting in the room were six other kids his age, all of them sitting in a circle. The men ushered him to sit down with them before leaving, one of them staying behind to leave some instructions.
"We shall be observing you children closely nearby. Simply introduce yourselves to each other, see if you can form bonds."
With that, the man closed the door, leaving the seven kids to sit in the circle, unsure of what to do. Izuku, always eager to make friends, decided to go first.
"Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya! I don't know what my Quirk is or why we're here, but I want to be an awesome hero, just like All-Might! I like katsudon, learning about Quirks, and making new friends!"
"I like you!" Giggled a cute girl with bright blonde hair and stars decorating her brown eyes. "I'm Shokuhou Misaki! My Quirk is [Mental Out] and I can manipulate people's minds like Professor X! I like fashionable stuff, cute things, and sweets!"
"Guess it's safe for me to go next." A petite girl with chestnut brown hair said as she went next. "I'm Misaka Mikoto and my Quirk is [Electromaster]. I can basically produce electricity that can exceed over 1 billion volts and manipulate it how I see fit. I like frog merchandise featuring Gekkota and I believe in justice!"
"Well, since everyone else is going, I'll go next!" Smiled a boy with spikey black hair. "I'm Gunha Sogiita! My Quirk is [Attack Hand] and so far, the people here can't explain it despite all the tests they've had me do! Personally, I believe my Quirk lets me do whatever I want through gutsy power!"
"That's basically his way of saying his Quirk runs on belief." Chuckled a girl with reddish-brown hair. "I'm Mugino Shizuri and my Quirk is [Meltdowner]. With it, I can manipulate electrons to fire powerful energy blasts and even form barriers that can melt through metal."
"Well, aren't you all excitable about your powers?" Chuckled a boy with honey-blonde hair. "My name is Kakine Teitoku and my Quirk is [Dark Matter]. I can create and manipulate a special kind of matter that doesn't exist until I allow it to. It can harness over 25,000 different types of energies and it allows me to achieve whatever I desire."
"Do I have to do this?" Grumbled a boy with snow-white hair. "Ugh, fine. My name is Accelerator. I was born and raised in this lab my whole life. Don't know who my parents are or what my real name even is. My Quirk is [Vector Manipulation] and it allows me to manipulate any vectors I come into contact wi….Um,, what's wrong with his eyes?"
Izuku;s eyes were glowing as he absorbed the information, his brain going a million miles a second as he began to break down what he'd heard and come up with questions to ask…Which he mumbled.
Some of the words the others could make up were 'constructions, self healing, solving energy crisis' and 'boarderline invinicibilty.'
Now, understandably, the kids were a wee bit weirded out and concerned for the green haired boy's mental health…yet they were also intrigued; the scientists were cold, despondent and spoke to them like they were dumb animals or first week pre-schoolers who didn't know anything.
Jumbled as Izuku's words were, they were also filled with passion and eagerness to learn and see them grow. And that last bit brought a smile to their faces.
SLAP!
"Sorry, but you were rambling." Gunha winced.
"Thank you. I needed that." Izuku said, seemingly not at all hurt, "And before you ask? Yes I did feel that, but my best friend creates explosions from his hands and has hit me a few times. You build up a tolerance."
….And like that, the kids all had someone they wished to 'talk to' if/when they got out of here.
By the end of the day, while the children were all saddened tyo be returned to their rooms, they were at least looking forward to the coming days, as they now had friends in each other.

Meanwhile, in a hidden lab viewing the seven interacting, a stout elderly man with a bushy mustache and goggles wearing a labcoat hummed in interest. He then turned to his subordinates and nodded his head.
"These children...they're already starting to trust each other. But Midoriya...we will need to begin the tests for him soon. He is the only one whose Quirk we do not know about and if the readings are correct..."
A glint came across the old man's face as he smirked deviously.
"It could be the perfect Quirk to study and replicate."
Knightmare Lord A/N:
Just a simple beginning for Izuku, who doesn't know what Quirk he might have, but from what is being implied, it's powerful enough to have him be kidnapped along with the Level 5 ESPers from A Certain Magical Index!
Now, me and Mrotrax don't know a lot about Index or Railgun, so this is mostly following the Canon of BNHA but we'll try to do the characters justice in their alternate settings.
Mrotrax A/N:
Apologies for no actual Izuku ramble, I couldn't come up with the words.
Hope you like!
