It was a late evening at Show Town, most specifically at the Tiny Toons apartment. Shirley the Loon had informed her roommate, Sweetie Bird, that she can visit dreams.
"Well can you bring others into dreams?" Sweetie asked, challengingly.
"I can." Shirley replied, proudly. "Like, let me prove it to you."
Shirley took Sweetie by both of her wings, and instructed her to close her eyes and clear her thoughts.
"Prepare to visit dreams." Shirley said.
They both closed their eyes as they began to enter the dream world. The first dream they were in had a lot of cheese everywhere. There was also a large arena where Plucky won a sports marathon.
"Like, this must be Sneezer's dream or some junk." Shirley said.
"I mean, who else likes cheese and sees Plucky as their hero?" Sweetie added.
"Hi guys!" Sneezer waved in his dream. "Didn't expect either of you in my dream."
"Aren't you going to sneeze?" Sweetie asked.
"Nope." Sneezer smiled. "In my dreams, I'm not allergic to anything."
"Like, that's the magic of dreams." Shirley explained. "Anything can happen. Let's go to the next dream."
The next dream was a large library with various books of knowledge.
"This must be Calamity's dream." Said Sweetie.
The one who stepped forward wasn't Calamity, but Buster.
"Ah, Shirley the Loon and Sweetie Bird." He said, in a posh British accent. "My good friends. Welcome to my dream library."
Shirley took out one of the books and opened it. A carrot fell out. She discovered that the books aren't actual books, but containers for carrots that are disguised as books.
"Erm..." Buster replied.
Suddenly, the dream ended, as Buster woke himself up. Shirley then took Sweetie into another dream that was empty, except for a single rocket ride that was being operated by Gogo Dodo.
"Gogo?" Sweetie inquired. "I would've thought your dream would be a lot more wackier."
"Can't a guy take a break from wackiness?" Gogo asked, inserting a coin into the slot, only for the stand to take off, and not the rocket. "Oh darn, that was my last coin."
Shirley discovered that Skunky and Fifi were having a share-dream, and took Sweetie into it. It was a large dance hall with a disco ball above it. In the middle of the dance floor was Skunky and Fifi wearing romance dance attires and dancing to slow romance music.
"Ah, mon amour." Skunky smiled.
"Ah, mon amour." Fifi smiled.
"Ah, of course their dream would be romance-related." Sweetie commented.
Dizzy's dream was a land filled with ice cream, Little Beeper's was of him winning a marathon, Lil Bepper's was her being top of her ballet class, Calamity's was him becoming the new CEO of ACME, Babs' was of her performing for royalty, Hamton's was him cleaning a big food storage room (and then eating the food), Plucky's dream was him becoming the most successful star, and Fowlmouth's was him learning to control his cussing.
"It's almost morning." Sweetie commented.
"Like, hold on there, Sweetie Bird." Shirley replied. "There's still one more dream to visit. The dream of my boyfriend, Furrball."
In Furrball's dream, he was back on his old cardboard box home in the alley. It was pouring with heavy rain, and he was shivering from the cold. Shirley walked over to him and gently spoke to him as Sweetie flew next to her.
"Babe, this is only a dream." She said to him. "You are not an unlucky homeless cat anymore. You now live in an apartment room with Calamity Coyote in Show Town, and we all share the apartment, living in different rooms, and you have a girlfriend who loves you with all her heart."
Furrball gave Shirley a loving and emotional embrace which Shirley happily reciprocated.
"I'll totally see you in the morning, babe." Shirley whispered, giving him a kiss. "I totally love you fer sure."
As that dream ended, Shirley and Sweetie found themselves back on their apartment room.
"That was awesome!" Sweetie exclaimed.
"So, you believe me now?" Shirley asked.
"As you're so fond of saying: for sure!" Sweetie replied.
"Like, let's go." Shirley replied. "Skunky is about to ask us to move Fifi's Cadillac to our apartment building."
