So I don't know if you noticed I have changed the name from Fallen Angel Of WWE to Devil's Valkyrie Of WWE. Well I decided to make that change because I have a new idea for how Luna will be presented. So I've also been thinking things through on where I wanted this story to go.
Chapter 3 - New Challenges
NXT TakeOver May 29th 2014
Inside The Arena
The fireworks went off as the fans started cheering while the camera went around the arena as fans seemed excited.
"Hello everyone, welcome to NXT TAKEOVER! I'm Mike Davis joining me is of course, Corey Graves and Renee Young and let me say it now NXT is here to Takeover!" Mike said.
"I'd rather have you not speak at all personally." Corey said.
"Well that's not gonna happen because NXT TakeOver is here and I'm just too excited." Mike said.
"You are not the only one Mike and come on Corey how could you not be excited for NXT action?" Renee asked.
"Oh trust me I am." Corey said.
Later Inside The Ring
Charlotte's music played as the fans all let out a woo as she walked out onto the stage along with her father Ric Flair.
"We see Charlotte is coming to the ring with her father, two time hall of famer the legendary Ric Flair." Mike said.
"Of course Ric Flair would be here for his own daughter's big opportunity. She is wrestling for the NXT Women's championship. Come on Mike, keep up." Corey said.
"Well she has one person left to go through and we've seen time and again that the champion is not one to go down easy." Renee said.
Charlotte had made her way into the ring as she stood in the center of the ring as she starred up the ramp and to the stage as she had one thing on her mind.
The lights went out making the arena dark as a pair of angel wings appeared on the titantron as they started to turn black while barbed wire suddenly wrapped around them while Diamante's song Bite Your Kiss started to play. A spotlight shined down on Luna standing on the stage as she threw her hood back raising the NXT Women's Championship.
"There she is the NXT Women's Champion and Renee, Corey she looks ready for battle." Mike said.
"She better be because she's facing the Nature Boy's daughter." Renee said.
Luna stood on the stage holding the championship in her hand as her attire had a purple and black color scheme for this match. Luna walked down the ramp high fiving some of the fans before climbing onto the apron then onto the second outside turnbuckle. Luna raised the title into the air looking over at Charlotte before she jumped down into the ring.
'DING! DING! DING!'
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the NXT Women's Championship! Introducing first the challenger from the Queen City Charlotte!" The fans cheered as Charlotte held out her arms showing her superiority. "And her opponent from Toronto Canada, she is the NXT Women's Champion Luna!" Luna held up her title again as she didn't take her eyes off Charlotte.
"Notice how Luna is not taking her eyes off Charlotte. She told me earlier today that this is the biggest fight of her life. She knows Charlotte isn't like any other woman in NXT, she's the daughter of the Nature Boy." Renee said.
Luna handed the referee the title then backed up taking off her leather jacket tossing it out of the ring as she continued to stare down Charlotte.
'DING! DING! DING!'
Luna and Charlotte circled one and other before locking up in the center of the ring only for Charlotte to use her obviously superior strength to shove Luna over and back into the corner as she let out a woo which got a similar response from the crowd.
"Charlotte uses her strength to shove Luna back, showing the strength difference between these two divas." Mike said.
Luna stood up shaking her head as she and Charlotte repeated the previous exchange only for Luna to take Charlotte over with an arm drag then a second deep arm drag. Luna then dropped kick Charlotte which sent her down to the mat only Charlotte rolled out of the ring. Luna was quickly up to her feet and ran off the ropes somersaulting over the top rope taking out Charlotte.
"Oh man! Luna over the top taking out Charlotte!" Mike said.
Luna stood up and started trash talking as she looked around the crowd who were hyped up after the spot. Luna turned around picking up Charlotte and tossed her into the ring while Luna slid into the ring after her. Luna then pinned Charlotte.
"One! Two!" Charlotte kicked out. "Two!"
"Charlotte gets the shoulder up at two! Luna was close to retaining her championship." Mike said.
Luna put Charlotte in a sitting position and locked in a dragon sleeper in hopes of making Charlotte submit.
"Luna with a dragon sleeper locked in hoping to potentially put Charlotte Flair to sleep!" Mike said.
"This could be trouble for the challenger!" Renee said.
Luna held onto Charlotte but couldn't keep her on the mat as Charlotte started to fight her way up until they were standing. Charlotte finally broke free when she managed to reverse suplex Luna over as the crowd applauded the unique escape.
"Oh man! That was almost like a reverse northern suplex, great innovation by Charlotte to break free of the Dragon Sleeper!" Mike said.
"That is why Charlotte is here Mike, that kinda innovation brought Charlotte to this match." Corey said.
Charlotte had gotten to her feet first and when Luna stood up Charlotte chopped Luna across the chest getting some 'Woo's' from the crowd. Charlotte delivered another pair of chops backing Luna up into the corner as Charlotte continued the assault. The referee started the five count as Charlotte chopped Luna again only to back off once the referee hit four. When Charlotte came back for Luna the champion delivered a forearm knocking Charlotte back.
"Luna looking to regain the momentum." Mike said.
Luna delivered another forearm before running out of the corner and off the ropes only to be caught by a boot to the face by Charlotte.
"Oh my god!" Corey said. "Luna just ate a boot to the face by Charlotte Flair!"
"Did you guys see how her head snapped backwards?" Renee asked.
Charlotte pinned Luna. "One! Two!" Luna kicked out. "Two!"
"Luna able to kick out at just two." Mike said.
Luna held her jaw as she stomped a foot on the mat while Charlotte grabbed Luna's left leg and kicked her in the back of the knee. Charlotte kicked Luna in the back of the left knee again before placing it between her own knees and driving down on Luna's left knee.
"Charlotte flair targeting the left knee of Luna now a tactic that is familiar to her own father." Mike said.
"Of course it is Mike, she's the daughter of a sixteen time world champion." Corey said.
Charlotte let Luna get back up before delivering a chop block to the back of Luna's knee causing her to drop to the mat. Luna placed Luna's leg in between the bottom and middle ropes before leaping off the middle rope dropping a knee across the side of Luna's own causing her to cry in pain.
"Charlotte Flair dropping down on Luna's knee targeting Luna's left knee which is a wise strategy because without her knee Luna can't execute most of her offense." Mike said.
"That's right, if she can't stand she can't deliver Heaven's Fall or even get enough momentum for a spear." Renee said.
Charlotte would again drop down on Luna's knee which made Luna crawl away from the ropes crying in pain. Charlotte grabbed Luna's leg and looked to be trying to get her in a figure four but Luna kept scrambling free so Charlotte locked in a Half Boston Crab.
"Charlotte with a Half Boston Crab right now on Luna still targeting that left knee." Mike said.
"Imagine the torque on Luna's knee right now." Corey said.
Luna forced herself up and started to crawl towards the ropes as the fans started to try and get her there. Luna crawled towards the ropes reaching for the bottom rope.
"Luna reaching for the rope!" Mike said as Luna grabbed the rope. "She got it! Luna has the bottom rope Charlotte must break the hold before five!" Mike said.
Charlotte broke the hold as Luna rolled underneath the bottom rope and to the floor holding her left knee obviously in pain.
"Luna now out to the floor might be smart by Luna since she has the champion's advantage." Corey said.
Charlotte saw Luna was on the floor so she started climbing to the top rope and when she was on the top Luna had finally managed to stand up only for Charlotte to deliver a moonsault off the top taking out Luna as the crowd erupted in applause.
"Charlotte taking out the champion with a moonsault off the top rope!" Mike said.
"This is what the NXT Women's Championship means to these two women!" Renee said.
'NXT! NXT! NXT! NXT!'
The fans started an NXT chant as Charlotte managed to stand up and pulled Luna up and rolled her into the ring. Charlotte slid in after her and pinned her.
"One! Two!" Luna kicked out. "Two!"
"Luna kicks out at two! The championship doesn't change hands at least for now!" Mike said.
"Guys look at the athleticism that Charlotte displayed with this moonsault." Renee said as they showed the replay of the previous move Charlotte performed.
"Charlotte is showing why she is genetically superior right now." Corey said.
Charlotte grabbed Luna's left leg and draped Luna's over her neck locking in an Argentine Leglock causing Luna to cry in pain. Luna struggles to break free until she manages to get onto her back again and kicks Charlotte off. When Charlotte came back Luna had managed to get back to her feet and went to kick Charlotte in the stomach only for Charlotte to catch her foot. Luna did leap up nailing an enziguri to the back of Charlotte's head causing Charlotte to fall over giving Luna a moment to breathe.
"Luna with an enziguri to the back of Charlotte's head, this might be the chance Luna needs to take control of this match!" Mike said.
"Luna might have just bought a moment Mike but it only takes a moment to change the complexion of the match." Corey said.
Luna was holding her knee as she used the corner to stand and when she turned around Charlotte was charging her but Luna managed to move driving Charlotte into the ring post shoulder first.
"Oh man! Charlotte shoulder first into the ring post!" Mike said.
Luna moved Charlotte over the middle rope and despite her knee she slingshotted herself over the top delivering a leg drop across the back of Charlotte's neck with her good leg.
"Luna over the top with a leg drop across the back of Charlotte's head!" Mike said.
Luna watched Charlotte fall over like a heap and managed to climb back up onto the apron and smacked the top turnbuckle giving a hint to what she's planning.
"Luna is looking to try and use her aerial offense." Renee said.
Luna managed to get on the second turnbuckle but Charlotte cut her off climbing up onto the second rope. Charlotte slung Luna's arm over her neck and tried to suplex her over but Luna was fighting it hitting her in the side with a few body blows. Luna managed to climb to the top rope as Charlotte was sitting on the top turnbuckle.
"This is a dangerous situation for both women." Mike said.
Luna hooked Charlotte and hit her with a hurricanrana off the middle turnbuckle and even hooked Charlotte's leg. "One! Two!" Charlotte kicked out. "Two!"
"Luna with a hurricanrana off the middle rope and Charlotte still kicked out!" Mike said.
"What is it gonna take to keep either of these women down?" Renee asked.
Luna stood up looking over at Charlotte who was trying to get up so Luna began stomping her right foot in a sense tuning up the band.
"Look at Luna, she's tuning up the band?!" Mike said.
Luna held her left knee as she stomped her foot getting up to eight when Charlotte stood up and turned around which Luna went for the super kick only to be ducked.
"Charlotte ducked!" Mike said.
Charlotte grabbed Luna's legs letting out a 'woo' before twisting around Luna's left leg and hooking in the figure four leg lock in the center of the ring as the fans all cheered letting out 'woo's'.
"Charlotte! Figure Four! Shades of her daddy the hall of famer! The sixteen time world heavyweight champion!" Mike said.
"This might just be what puts Luna away!" Corey said.
Luna cried in pain while Charlotte tried to transition into the figure eight but Luna kept fighting as she tried to scramble. Luna ended up falling back which caused the referee to count until Luna got her shoulder up off the mat at two. Luna looked at Charlotte and swung at her a few times but couldn't quite reach so Luna managed to start rolling on her side.
"Luna looking to reverse the pressure to get out of this predicament!" Mike said.
Luna rolled onto her stomach reversing the pressure onto Charlotte forcing her to break the hold which Luna capitalized on cause when both women stood up Charlotte tried to chop Luna only to be ducked. Luna soon landed the 'Chick Kick' to the side of Charlotte's head, dropping her.
"Luna with the 'Chick Kick'! Shades of her mother, hall of famer Trish Stratus!" Mike said.
Luna grabbed Charlotte's leg and decided to give Charlotte a taste of her own medicine and locked in a figure four leg lock as the fans cheered.
"Luna using the figure four on Charlotte! Insult to injury!" Corey said.
Luna didn't have it in for long as Charlotte grabbed the bottom rope forcing Luna to break the hold so Luna pulled Charlotte back away from the ropes only to be kicked off. Luna stood up and Charlotte went for a boot to the face only to be ducked and hit with a spear.
"Spear! Luna catching Charlotte with a spear!" Mike said.
"Maybe Luna's knee isn't as bad as we thought it was!" Renee said.
Luna pinned Charlotte. "One! Two!" Charlotte kicked out again. "Two!"
The fans all let out a collective gasp as the ref almost counted three as they were applauding the effort these two women were giving starting a women's wrestling chant.
"Listen to this place! It is deafening in here!" Mike said.
"This is how much the NXT Women's title means to these two!" Corey said.
Luna stood up despite her bad knee and signaled it was over as she waited for Charlotte to stand up as the crowd was behind her. When Charlotte stood up Luna went to lift her onto her shoulders but Charlotte fought out of it before kicking Luna in the back of her left knee.
"Oh Charlotte, back to the bad knee again!" Mike said.
Luna dropped to a knee and Charlotte went off the ropes and hit Bow Down To The Queen driving Luna's face into the canvas pinning her. "One! Two! Three! Ring the bell!"
'DING! DING! DING!'
"We've got a new champion! We've got a new NXT Women's Champion!" Mike said.
"What a match!" Renee said.
"Charlotte is the NEW NXT Women's Champion!" Corey said.
Charlotte's music played as the crowd was on their feet as her father Ric Flair climbed into the ring and hugged his daughter.
"What a match these two ladies put on tonight." Renee said.
"Let's take a look back at the moments that shaped this match." Mike said as they showed the best highlights from the match.
Luna stood up as she ran a hand through her hair as she looked at Charlotte who returned the look and nodded as the two shared a hug in the center of the ring. The fans applauded them as both women shared a moment in the middle of the ring. When the two separated Luna received a hug from Ric Flair who then raised Luna's hand.
"What a tremendous show of respect for what these two women did tonight." Mike said.
Luna then raised Charlotte's hand as well while the crowd applauded them for what they did giving them a show stealer of a match.
"What a match between these two ladies they deserve all the respect in the world." Renee said.
"I have to agree with you Renee but at the end of it all Charlotte is the new NXT Women's Champion." Corey said.
Luna stepped out of the ring in order to allow Charlotte to celebrate her moment walking up the ramp. Luna ran a hand through her hair as she walked through the curtain.
Backstage Off Screen
Luna stepped through the curtains being surprised by some of her friends who all applauded her and gave hugs as Ashley came through the curtains meeting Luna with a hug.
NXT June 5th 2014
Backstage On Screen
Luna walked through the halls of the NXT arena only for her to stop as Charlotte and Sasha stood in her way now and Luna not looking too happy. "What do you two want?"
"Well we just wanted to say congratulations!" Sasha said with obviously fake enthusiasm.
"Yeah I mean I just beat you last week to become the NXT Women's Champion." Charlotte and Sasha acted all buddy buddy.
Luna looked at Charlotte. "Well, enjoy it. Because tonight I'm taking back what's mine." Luna then walked past Charlotte bumping her shoulder purposely.
Later Inside The Ring
Luna and Charlotte were in the middle of a match and Luna had been met on the top rope by Charlotte.
"The champion meets the challenger on the top rope and guys this is not where either of these two want to be at the moment." Renee said.
"You are not wrong there Renee." Regal said.
Luna was caught with a few forearms but when Charlotte tried to go for a suplex Luna blocked it a few times and hit Charlotte with a headbutt. Luna seemed to stun Charlotte only she didn't stop as she headbutted Charlotte twice more. Finally Luna shoved Charlotte off the top giving herself the opportunity to take advantage but Luna saw Sasha on the apron. Luna turned her attention to Sasha coming off the top rope and hitting a hurricanrana off the apron sending Sasha flying to the floor.
"Oh my lord!" Mike said.
"Luna taking out Charlotte's BFF, maybe finally taking her out of this match." Renee said.
"Might not have been the best move." Regal said.
Luna finally started climbing back into the ring only for Charlotte to kick the rope catching Luna's thigh which allowed Charlotte to hit Bow Down To The Queen pinning her.
"One! Two! Three! Ring the bell!" The ref said.
'DING! DING! DING!'
Charlotte's music played as she rolled off Luna. "Here is your winner and still the NXT Women's Champion Charlotte!"
"Luna was so close to regaining the NXT Women's Championship but Sasha makes the biggest difference." Renee said.
Luna laid there as Charlotte had her hand raised and Sasha joined her.
