As the sun came up the click of a keyboard was all that was heard in Koushiro's. Takeru was asleep in a chair beside Hikari who still laid on the couch. Joe was asleep in another larger chair.
Koushiro was the only one still awake, his face looked apparent he hadn't slept. Keystrokes and energy drinks were all that was keeping him going, he was determined to stabilize the door. He finished the odd tasting drink. He was also trying not to think about Hikari, hoping she was alright. Lost in thought and worried he crushed the can subconsciously.
His thoughts were interrupted by a ding, looking at his phone, Meiko had messaged him. 'Why is she texting me now?' He tossed the can and opened the message.
Koushiro I've tried contacting authorities but no one believes me. I hope this reaches you in time. We have had reports of dark figures all over town, when I finally spotted one it looked like Musyamon! Something is going on, but they disappear almost as quickly as they appear. So far none more than a few minutes.
He knew now their problems were just beginning, he messaged her back..
The others are gone right now, I'll contact Gennai and some of the other digidestined, we need some help it's going to get worse. I will call you soon. There's a lot to discuss.
'This is bad. This is very bad.' His computer continued running simulations as he began to contact digidestined all over the world to inform them of the dire situation and prepare them for some tough battles ahead. 'The wall between the real and digital world is weakening....I'm glad I work well under stress.' He sighed trying to cheer himself up as he began contacting another.

"Ok wait wait wait, so you're an alien... or no, you were cloned from an alien, a Doctor alien, but you're a human... because you have one heart... because of a crisisand since you're human you chose a name... and you're both from another reality besides this one... and since then you've both being living together and saving the world here because you were forced to leave your original?" Taichi just stared when he finished, still in disbelief.
"No, yea, hearing it said back it does sound like quite a mouthful, but yea that about sums it up actually... well, technically it was The Doctor but that's the past..." the trench coated man said with his British accent he let trail off as he seemed to get lost in thought for a moment.
All of the digidestined were trying to wrap their heads around what he said, just looking to each other.
Sora stopped and thought for a moment before saying, "your Japanese is flawless how can that be but your accent is Western?"
"Everywhere's got a West right? What's wrong with sounding like me? And no that's my growing Tardis, it's a universal translator, inside your heads..." He spoke completely seriously. The destined just looked at each other again questioning his rationality.
"But how about you guys? How do you kids know of these monsters? They aren't any alien I've ever seen, such drastic differences not just a race invading but a completely different odd individual creature each time, all coming through the same door, I just don't understand."
"Hah You don't understand? My head hurts I'm processing so much right now." Miyako halfheartedly joked. "We've accepted a lot but this definitely tops it..." She said. Iori just simply nodded processing everything, seemingly lost but in fact very suspicious.
Ken spoke, "they're Digimon, short for digital monsters. They come from the digital world, a separate but attached world to ours created from technology, made up of data and information. They're our partner Digimon, each meaning as much to us as family. We would sacrifice everything for them."
"And we would do the same for our human partners!" Wormmon followed.
David and Rose looked at each other before looking back at the digidestined. "What about the other ones like today?" Rose asked.
"Not all Digimon are good." Ken started, "in fact we have fought many and saved both worlds many times before..." he then proceeded to tell them both their story, explaining what had happened with Ruki, then the trap, Daisuke disappearing with her and Vmon, everything that led up to them coming to that world.
Without so much as a hesitation David and Rose both accepted their story. "This Bugendaimon, if he can really open a door at will to different realities perhaps the damage he's done is what's caused splits in realities across the multiverse. All the Digimon we've seen are not from this reality. If indeed the realities are merging together than there's nothing more important right now than stopping him."
"We agree, we weren't sure what we were stepping into here but a light took control of my little sister, used her body to give us a message, saying it was neither friend or foe but rather time everlasting." David sternly but silently make a look at Rose. Taichi continued, "it said the balance of existence shifted, then something about needing light for dark and dark for light..." he trailed off some.
Sora took over, "it said darkness has tipped the scales but all dimensions answer to time, we must restore the balance. Then it just told us to answer the call step through the door and find the endless mind among the heroes."
David was deep in thought by the time she finished, with a very serious look on his face. But within moments he popped back to his cheery self, "well, I think we're just the ones to help." He smiled. "But there's much more to discuss, let's get back to my Tardis we can talk more there." He said, motioning the children to follow him and Rose.
"What the hell is a Tardis?" Yamato asked as they began following him.
"That's best seen and not explained really." He smiled as Yamato looked to Taichi.

Ryo and Aoi had just walked in the room after hearing Wisemon had appeared. Miyuki, her brother Haru the professor, Takuma, Kaito, Ruki, and Daisuke all stood or leaned in a circle surrounding a conference style table Wisemon's book sat upon.
"Alright little wise guy, spill it, what do you know?" Ruki blurted with her arms crossed. Daisuke smiled at her forwardness it turned him... He interrupted his thoughts 'Shut up and pay attention beast brain!' He finally took his eyes off her, shifting attention to Wisemon.
"I know everything. I am everywhere this book appears. It is my spiritual vessel that will take me anywhere in time or space. With it I see all. With these stones I record all, all of space and time bends for me, all the realities. There is only one who sees all. Every event good, bad, doesn't matter..." He said with an upbeat tone. Everyone took a moment to swallow the mouthful he cheerfully tossed out.
His dark veiled eyes changed their mood visibly, "but now the Darkness has damaged the multiverse and threatens to end all. Again."
Miyuki looked to Haru, "again? Do you mean when he was sealed as the story goes?" The older man asked.
"Yes. The 12 spiritual powers of the realms was wielded against him by the priestess to seal him into a forbidden spiritual world of a barren reality."
"The twelve what now?" Daisuke asked.
"Spiritual powers, keep up goggles 2." Ruki grinned poking fun at him.
"What how am I 2? You met me first?!" He let his jealousy peek out again for a moment as she chuckled a little in her head.
"Hush." She told him, he obeyed quickly though begrudgingly making a face at her.
"Strength. Determination. Love. Imagination. Wisdom. Zeal. Order. Understanding. Release. Faith. Life. And Power. You will have to unite them if you hope to have a chance. The Darkness is already breaking down the walls. Some realities have already been lost... Sucked into the void. The space between realities. Nothingness. Unreachable." He said.
"Then what do we do?" Takuma finally spoke up. Sounding determined.
"Those realities are lost now forever..." they all looked disheartened. "But all realities answer to time. They are still there if you follow time to the past. You must find the descendants of those who can wield the powers. You must find the guardians of the powers. The powers were split into different realities. To find them you must find the endless mind. The endless mind holds the key to reaching the lost realities. The only chance to still restore balance and save all of the universes. And she holds the power of travel." He pointed to Ruki. "But she will never control the power in her current form. Her partner is required to accept full control."
"But how do I find her? If I can't control the power then I can't just go get her can I? And how do we get to realities if they're just gone? You're not making sense." She glared at the small digimon as if he was taunting her.
"Trust your instincts, find your partner. Find the endless mind. Time is his muse. Time is your enemy. I will return when you find the endless mind." Wisemon said. Ruki started to yell but before she could do more than inhale, the book slammed closed as Wisemon snapped out of existence as quickly as he came.
"Little shit..." Ruki growled.
"It can't be helped. But it sounds like we have some research and training to do." Miyuki quipped as she turned on heel and started away. Haru turning to follow, both excited by the development it seemed.
Takuma sighed, "they're very focused and enjoy this sort of thing. Sorry. That was a lot to take in. For us and you both I'm sure."
"Trust your instincts. What kind of advice is that? What a useless little shit. Ugh." She began walking away as well ignoring Takuma and leaving Daisuke with him, Kaito, Aoi, and Ryo.
"Endless mind..." Ryo said, "I wonder what he means..."
"And the descendants, how are we going to find them?" Aoi asked.
Takuma cheerily just said, "we'll figure it out, one way or another. That's why we're all here, we never give up even when the odds are stacked against us. Like the first trip we had to the digital world."
"You all don't have to do this for us, thank you guys for your help." Daisuke said.
"Of course we do, all our realities are at stake." Kaito said, dismissing his gratitude, "we would be worthless if we didn't try right? That's not what heroes do!" Daisuke nodded understanding their feelings all too well as they all smiled.

Inside a room we spot three boys one sitting at a desk in what looks like a teenager's room.
"Renamon said she couldn't sense her presence in the real world or the digital world, but felt more traces in the digital world. She began searching on her one." Takato said.
"We've searched separately for a couple days. She just disappeared no longer keeping contact, and then today all the portals to the digital world shut and we haven't been able to contact our Digimon or even get a connection. It's like it's gone." Henry said.
"That explains earlier, Cyberdramon's last transmission was cut off. I haven't been able to reach him since." Ryo said.
"The makers are trying their best, we just contacted them, we've contacted everyone else we know, but for right now we're stuck...The digital world is unreachable..." Takato said sadly.
"First we can't find Ruki, now we can't even find our own partners. This is awful." Henry sighed.
"I'll see what I can do too. I can't just sit here..." Ryo said, pulling up a screen on the computer.
The other two quietly nodded in agreement. They all felt helpless but couldn't sit around doing nothing.

Koushiro was on the phone when Takeru walked in, dreary eyed, it was only shortly after sunrise.
"Good morn-" Takeru started slowly as he was interrupted when Koushiro heard his voice.
"Good you're up, get Joe, we've got problems. There are digimon showing up all over the world." He said before ducking back behind the screen.
Takeru took a moment to process, "wait what? JOE! WAKE UP! Why were you letting us just sleep?!"
"I've been busy and you didn't hear me, I really wasn't sure it was a problem until just a few moments ago!" Koushiro blurted as Joe burst down the hallway.
"What's wrong?!" He said frantically.
"There are digimon showing up all over the world and you weren't sure it was a problem?" Takeru ignored Joe, questioning Koushiro.
"Wait what?!" Joe said, immediately awake.
"Well at first when Meiko first messaged me it was dark figures shaped like Digimon." Koushiro started.
"Like when BlackWargreymon warped the digital world?" Takeru asked.
"That's what I thought. But as I started contacting digidestined around the world I began getting reports of the figures taking shape and causing destruction before fading away." Koushiro told them.
"What about Patamon and the others?" Takeru asked.
"They're searching for some kind of answer in the digital world but so far they can't find anything happening to cause the disruptions. No one can contact Gennai or any copies nor can anyone find the guardian digimon. I can't find a source for the disruptions here or there. We're on our own." Koushiro sighed, Joe and Takeru could tell he hadn't slept.
"I missed a lot..." All three boys jumped at the sound of the soft voice.
"Hikari!" Takeru was relieved to see her up. He quickly moved to check on her, "are you ok? I was so scared you were hurt."
"I'm fine, I just have a bad headache." She told him, hugging him as he got close. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." She told him looking down.
He grabbed her face and smiled, "don't be silly." Then he was serious, "but you did miss a lot..."
"Tell me everything." She said as her and Takeru joined Joe behind Koushiro. They told her about her talking with the other voice, about her brother and the others splitting up and going ahead, the current situation, she was visibly upset.
"We need to fix the door. Leave the disruptions to us." Hikari said without hesitating, "we'll meet up with Gatomon, Gomamon, and Patamon and we will gate jump and respond to the others."
"Got it," Koushiro said, "I will forward everything to you and continue trying to stabilize the door programming."
"Are you sure you're up for this Hikari?" Takeru hesitated.
"The fate of the others getting home might be up to us, of course I'm sure. Besides I'm fine I was able to rest, I feel much better." She pulled out her D3. Takeru felt a little better, but still worried.
"I will be trying to figure out what's causing the disruptions as well..." 'Is this what he meant by the walls coming down?' Koushiro thought. "But I will focus on the door for now..."
She nodded, "let's go." Her, Takeru, and Joe disappeared in a light to the Digital World, leaving Koushiro with sort of agitated look on his face. 'I want to be there, I need to be there helping, I need to be here helping, I need... to get to work.'

..Rose Tyler's Whoniverse
..
"What is this?!" Taichi yelled, he back back out and looked over again, "it's just a pillar?" He walked forward past the crumbling column strangely placed beside a storefront, when he did he could see it opened into a large beautifully lit room with a round control panel and computer screens around the center of the room. "But it's bigger on the inside? How did you do that?!" He walked back out and walked the other way around the pillar only to find a normal looking column from every other angle.
"Is it magic Taichi?" Agumon said, equally confused, scratching his head, "or is it like going into the digital world, did we go through a portal?" He looked around in all directions still confused looking.
Rose and David laughed, "best seen not explained is making more sense eh?"
"No kidding..." Ken said. They were all in awe while David left no room for processing.
"But there isn't a time everlasting that I know of, the closest thing I can think of is when Rose looked into the time vortex, the heart of a Tardis, not meant for the human physiology..." He looked at her sadly. "It almost killed her, she had absorbed much of the power but I was able to finally remove it from her. But it was a powerful being. I realized later, sentient and free. I witnessed it once again after being separated from Rose herself." He said, shocking even Rose.
"You what? When we're you planning on telling me there, hmm?" Rose said.
"I just did, din'nt I?" He smirked as she looked at him unpleasantly. "It was in a very unusual event though, I thought I forgot. Well I did forget. Until she said time everlasting. It said that too. And then I remembered. Or something like that. But anyways, I met myself and myself."
The digidestined blinked. Even Rose raised an eyebrow.
"Are you sure?" Rose questioned.
"I don't know ok, 900 years of memories stuffed in a human brain, it's a little wibbly wobbly in there. I remember there was an old me, a new me, and just me. But we were forced to make a decision... Oh. Wait... I remember it wasn't just a decision, it was the decision. The decision to save all of the universe in the time war..." Rose knew why he got very sad looking. But he continued without delving into his past, "she brought us together for us make the decision to push the button together. All taking responsibility equally." He said solemnly, stopping for a moment before he continued. "But she was there to guide us... Bad Wolf. An entity, a free living being made entirely of time. I wonder-"
Before he could go much further an alarm went off, "oh for the love of- another one?!" David turned his attention to the console. "This one's in Australia, everyone hold on, Allons-Y!"
Rose grabbed a railing, making everyone else quickly follow suit. As everything being to vibrate, even the digimon grabbed on to something. It began to emit a strange noise as they all faded away and the pillar disappeared into thin air.
..
The crumbling column faded into existence in the middle of wet tropical range, with trees going up a mild mountainside to the north and overlooking a small waterfall to the south. As it faded in, the population inside found their legs for a moment as David and Rose checked the console.
"Oh come on beautiful, give me something!" He smacked a screen then, looking over at the digidestined staring, he just smiled. "They're a little difficult as an infant." He laughed sheepishly.
Mimi leaned over to Sora and whispered confused, "is the screen the baby?"
Of course David overheard this and said, "no the Tardis is what I meant. She's still young. All new. Still growing..." He ran a hand across the screen he smacked lovingly, "so many adventures still to come."
"Oi, focus!" Rose jokingly scolded him.
"Ahem, you're right."
The screen finally activated, showing the beautiful scenery outside. Palmon and Mimi both perked up at the sight.
"Amazing! Look how pretty!!" Both their eyes sparkled.
"Can we go see?!" They both begged.
Sora shook her head, "not yet," She whispered, looking back to David and Rose.
"So this thing moves from place to place? We're not really in Australia that fast, we were literally just in Japan!" Miyako asked looking between the British pair and her closest other expert Ken.
"Time And Relative Dimension In Space, the Tardis as she's so perfectly named can move through time and space with ease, fueled by a time vortex." David said proudly, "and yes, we are in Australia that fast. I don't see the anomaly outside, it may not have opened the door yet."
Miyako blinked. Ken and the others were beginning to come down from the shell shock as David and Rose moved to the exit. Opening the door they walked out into the lush ecosystem, as they seemed to appear from nowhere behind the column.
"Come on, see for yourself." He told the destined. Iori, quietly followed Taichi and Yamato, the others slowly joining until they all stood atop the cliff overlooking the waterfall.
"...the hell is a time vortex..." Ken questioned quietly, the last to walk out. Eyes wide again.
"I can't believe it..." Miyako said, stunned.
"Mimi was right, its beautiful." Sora added.
"There's nothing like this even close to Odaiba. The plant life, none of this grows in Japan..." Ken said, amazed as well.
But as they all took in the sight, suddenly from almost halfway up the waterfall the purple haze ignites, the mist giving way to the crackling pool of energy they had seen before.
"There! Another door is opening!" Yamato pointed it out first.
"Everyone get ready!" The children pulled out their devices ready for a battle this time when a bright small yellow and white blur charged out of the pool, a much larger yellow figure followed. The smaller faster one turned, "Diamond Storm!" It fired a blast back at the other who simply covered its face before returning fire. "Hyper Heat!" It sent a flamed charge at the smaller figure.
"Agumon!"
"Gabumon!" Taichi and Yamato yelled simultaneously.
Both began their evolutions as the shot hit its mark and the small yellow figure yelped as it began plummeting to the ground.
Garurumon charged in catching the figure just in time as Greymon laid cover fire, "Mega Flame!"
"It's Cyclomon!" Ken told them.
By now the others began to digivolve, "if you can lead it back to the door we will reactivate it and send them back through!" David told them, running back into the Tardis to grab his equipment.
"You heard him, let's go!" Taichi told the others, all the digimon took off as the fight began.
"Spiking finish!" Stingmon made the first assault, the beast defended with his huge arm, deflecting Stingmon back.
Birdramon then fired a barrage, "Meteor Wing!" He jumped.
Togemon next, "Prickly Bang-Bang!" The shots hit their mark.
"Blast laser!" Aquillamon made contact as well, Cyclomon finally began to retreat.
"Now!" Taichi yelled, "he's on the run!" David flipped a switch and the energy crackled again as the pool reignited and began pulling the Cyclomon closer. But it saw the door open and resisted, digging its long arm into the ground.
However it couldn't hold up to the final hit from Ankylomon, "Tail Hammer!" He smacked the digimon, it lost its hold and flew into the door as it shut behind him.
"Yes!" Miyako pumped her fist.
"We did it!" Mimi and Sora cheered.
"So that was incredible! You guys were absolutely beautiful, such wonderful teamwork!" David cheered. They all seemed to enjoy the praise. The mood quickly changed though as Garurumon and Yamato ran up, a limp yellow and white coated figure on Garurumon's back with Yamato.
"Are they ok?" Sora immediately asked concerned for the strange Digimon.
"They're breathing, but it's fainted, it looks like it was hit a few times probably before traveling through the door." Yamato said helping Stingmon pick up the figure.
"None of our devices recognize it." Ken said trying Miyako and Iori's D3's as well.
"Ours either." Taichi said checking his.
"Let's get back inside. That door is sealed for now." David said, motioning them to follow. "There's room inside, I'll adjust her for the larger ones..." He said looking at Greymon for a moment. But they took the hint in safety and devolved in a rush of light. David stopped. "Oh. Well. Wow. That is such an interesting talent..." He continued walking inside the oddly placed column, leading them into the Tardis, past the computer console into a hallway. The hallway into a room that looked like a sickbay. Stingmon set the digimon down and devolved like the others.
"What should we do with it?" Miyako asked, "like do you think they're friendly? Should we tie them up?"
"They definitely won't be friendly if we tie them up though..." Sora reminded her.
"That's true, I wouldn't be happy waking up tied up either... but..." she trailed off. The thought was still there.
"Ugnghph." The figure groaned, "what-" it's eyes shot open and before anyone could react it was in defense and bounced off the table. The makeshift sickbay had a large dark roof which the figure hid away in. The digimon stood at the exit as Mimi moved closer.
"Mimi-" Miyako started to stop her but was waved off by Mimi.
"Wait, we're not your enemy. We're having a pretty wild day I bet you are too. You looked like that thing was attacking you, we sent it back. Will you trust us enough to talk?" Mimi said to the darkness.
"..."
Mimi looked back at the others and back to the darkness.
"I promise, look we have Digimon partners we care for very much we would never hurt a digimon unless were left with absolutely no choice." She tried again to get something.
"...Humans are generally untrustworthy..." It spoke in a feminine voice.
"That's very true, but not these kids." Hawkmon said.
"We would do anything for these kids. Our friends." Wormmon said looking to Ken.
"..." It wasn't amused.
"Look what's your name? We've had a long day too but we're happy to explain. And if you're having a bad day we're happy to help." Sora finally said, in a very mom tone. Maybe it was how she said it or maybe it was what she said but finally the figure dropped from the darkness, with sharp suspicious eyes she looked at them all.
"My name is Renamon..." She said.
..
..
..
How will they find their friends? We'll find out next time! See you there!
