Here's the next chapter based on the canon episode of TMNT 2k12: Broken Foot

Karai, Shinigami and May arrived at Chinatown to enter a temple in a mission to take down the Shredder's empire and operations.

Shinigami looks unamused. "Seriously? A temple?"

May nodded and looks at Karai. "So this is the temple you told us about? I wonder why do we have to infiltrate this place at Chinatown."

"It's a front for a money-laundering operation," Karai explained. "Taking it down will badly hurt the Shredder."

Shinigami seemed a little surprised and looks at May. "Her dad was one messed-up freak."

May scoffs. "You think?" She followed Karai and Shinigami into the temple, only to look around until they found millions of dollars.

Just then, Hun and the Purple Dragons arrived. "I see we have an uninvited guest."

"Hun," Karai smirked as she, Shinigami and May attacks the Purple Dragons.

While the three Purple Dragons fight off May and Shini, Hun fights Karai while glaring at her. "You think you can take the Shredder's place, but you are just a spoiled little girl."

Suddenly, Leo appeared wearing black and managed to defeat Hun by throwing him outside. Then he smirked at Karai. "Miss me?"

Karai smirked back at the turtle. "You always have to make a dramatic entrance."

Now, Shinigami plays around with the money by throwing it in the air. "Look at it all!"

"There's millions here," Leo said, looking at the money.

"Oooh," May said. "We should take some for the road."

"Shredder should've kept it somewhere a little more safe," Karai agreed.

"So what are we going to do with it?" Shinigami asked. "Do you know how much cool stuff we can buy?"

"Hmmmmm… I'd say take some," May said, grabbing a few of Shredder's money.

Then, Karai brought a match and lit the cash on fire and walks out with Leo, Shinigami and May.

Later at the sewer lair, Slash and Leatherhead were invited to play Mazes and Mutants with Raph, Donnie, Mikey and April.

"Karai told us that Chris Bradford's old dojo is the only place that us Mighty Mutanimals can stay at," Slash said. "And she even fixed up flyman's laboratory for Rockwell to work in."

"Well, I gotta admit that you and the Mutanimals found a new place that Karai set up for you," Raph said. "But still… you should keep an eye on her just in case she tries to do anything reckless."

"Now back to the game," Slash said. "You enter the treasure vault when three Pus Trolls attack! It's a trap! Ice Cream Kitty?"

Ice Cream Kitty meows and rolls the dice.

"Ooh, 16," April said. "The Pus Trolls are frozen by your ice spell. But the Slime King approaches."

Mikey sees Chompy breathing fire at Ice Cream Kitty and goes to protect her. "Raph! Chompy is making Ice Cream Kitty melt."

"That's because she's cheating," Raph said angrily while holding the dice. "Ugh, and the ice cream is getting the dice all sticky. I don't know how you talked me into playing this stupid game again."

Leatherhead exchanges looks with Mikey and turns to Raph. "Just roll, Raphael."

"Okay, I attack with my Fire Ax," Raph said, rolling the dice.

Slash watched Raph rolled the dice. "19. Your attack defeats the Slime King, and you win his plus-two Amulet of Audacity."

"Yes! In your face, Kitty," Raph gloated.

Leatherhead chuckled as he watched Ice Cream Kitty meow angrily and smiled at Raph. "Well played, Raphael." He turns to Mikey who's a little angry. "Sorry, Michelangelo."

Donnie noticed Leo watching TV with Dr. Rockwell. "Hey, Leo, aren't you gonna play?"

Leo looks at the others. "What? Oh, no, you guys go ahead."

The newsreporter on TV spoke. "Breaking news from Chinatown, where a fire has burned down a mob warehouse, destroying millions in cash. Some face-painted gang members arrested at the scene failed to comment."

Raph looks at the TV after exchanging looks with Slash. "Bet you anything that place was Shredder's."

Mikey laughed as he walked up to see the Purple Dragons on TV, with their faces painted. "Dudes, look at their faces."

Donnie looked suspiciously at the TV. "That definitely looks like the handiwork of that crazy girl Karai's running around with."

"I agree with you, Donatello," Dr. Rockwell said. "Perhaps we should do something about it."

April nods. "Donnie and Rockwell are right. We should." She looks at Leo who's still staring at the TV. "Leo?"

Raph exchanged looks with Slash and then smirks at Leo. "Not gonna defend your girlfriend, eh?"

Leo frowned as he starts to leave. "Whatever, Raph. I'm out of here."

April watched Leo leave and knew something was wrong. "I don't know, guys. I got a weird feeling Leo's hiding something."

"Like what?" Donnie asked, looking confused.

"I'm not sure," April said, thinking about Leo and Karai. "I think he's up to something with Karai."

At the Foot Clan's old headquarters, while Karai was sparring with May, Shinigami saw Leo arriving. "Ah, look who finally showed up."

May stops for a moment when she sees Leo. "Oh, Leo's here, Karai."

Karai nods as she walks up to Leo. "Having trouble sneaking out so Splinter doesn't see you?"

"We need to be more careful, Karai," Leo frowned. "You can't just go charging in like that. If I wasn't there as backup, you, May and Shinigami might have been taken down by Hun."

Karai smirked. "Don't flatter yourself, Leo. I had Hun right where I wanted him."

"The Purple Dragons are one thing, but just us four against all of Shredder's army?" Leo continued speaking. "We should get the others, including the Mighty Mutanimals."

Karai shook her head. "Your brothers and the Mutanimals aren't interested in going after Shredder's empire because Splinter won't allow it."

"We're outnumbered," Leo argued. "We need help."

"On that, we agree," Karai said as she summons Foot Ninjas. "Omaetachi, mae e."

"Cool," May said. "Real ninjas, not Footbots."

"Shinigami recruited these new Foot Ninja from Japan," Karai explained.

Leo looks at the Foot Ninjas. "But these guys are mercenaries."

"They're perfect for our cause and for our next target," Karai nodded.

Leo catches one of the photos Shinigami tossed and recognized Auman chemicals in the picture. "Shredder's chemical factory?"

"If we can destroy it, we'll cripple his organization big-time," Karai said as Leo stared at the photo.

Back at the sewer lair, Mikey woke up to get something to eat in the kitchen. "So hungry. Haven't eaten in an hour." He opened the fridge and looked past Ice Cream Kitty. "Excuse me, kitty kitty mama." Just then, Mikey noticed that Kitty is meowing angrily. "What's wrong, girl? Something wrong with the pizza?"

Ice Cream Kitty meows no.

"That sneaky Dr. Squirrelenstein?" Mikey asked.

Ice Cream Kitty meows no again.

"No? Robo-vampires?" Mikey asked again.

Ice Cream Kitty meows no very angrily.

"No? The guys?" Mikey asked the third time.

Ice Cream Kitty meows possibly.

"Leo?" Mikey knew what Ice Cream Kitty meant and gasped. "I should wake him up. He'll know what to do. Thanks, kitty." He rushed towards Leo's bedroom and knocks on the door. "Leo? You awake? Leo?" He opened the door and saw that Leo wasn't there. Then he called Raph, Donnie, Slash and Leatherhead. "Oh, no. Guys! Guys, wake up!"

Leatherhead came with Raph, Donnie and Slash. "Michelangelo, what's wrong?"

"This better not be Dr. Squirrelenstein again," Raph said, looking annoyed.

Mikey was attempting to call Leo but no answer. "Worse, there's no sign of Leo, and he's not picking up his T-Phone."

Slash looked at Raph. "Where do you think Leonardo ran off to, brother?"

Raph knew the answer. "One guess where he is."

Donnie looks at his two brothers and two of the Mighty Mutanimals. "We should head to Karai's. I'll run a trace on his phone. Let's go!"

At Auman chemicals, Karai managed to take down one Footbot with Leo as the duo along with Shinigami and May arrived. "We plant explosives, get out fast, and blow the place. Shredder will never know we're here."

Shinigami spotted Rocksteady and Tiger Claw down below. "Uh, somebody will know we're here."

Leo looks at Karai. "This isn't gonna be as easy as we—"

May sees a purple laser heading towards the three. "Look out!" She deflected the laser with her bō staff.

Bebop appeared. "Hee-hee! Gotcha, son. I sniffed you a mile away. Whoo-hoo!" He starts shooting glue at Leo, Karai, Shinigami and May. Then, Bebop gets slimed by his own glue that Shinigami threw. "Oh, snap. You goo-ed me with my own goo. That's sick, yo."

As the Footbots came to surround them, Tiger Claw was surprised to see Karai, Shinigami, May and Leo. "I was hoping you would show up here, girl."

Rocksteady was preparing to attack. "Let us make with the crushing already."

Suddenly, Tiger Claw noticed that Karai's whistling summons her Foot Ninjas. "So the cubs recruited Foot Soldiers of their own. Let's see if they are worthy of the name." He roared as he summons the Footbots.

"I didn't want it to be too easy," Karai smirked as she charges to attack.

Meanwhile out in the city, Raph was driving the Party Wagon with Donnie in the front, Mikey and Slash in the back and Leatherhead outside on top.

"Any luck, Donatello?" Slash asked.

Donnie looked at Slash. "I think I found him. I tracked Leo's T-Phone to Auman Chemicals. They must be trying to take down Shredder's operation on their own."

Raph looked surprised. "Is he crazy?"

"Yeah, this sounds like something you would do, Raph," Mikey remarked, making Raph drive faster.

Back at the chemical factory, while Karai and Shinigami are fighting the Footbots, Bebop and Rocksteady, Tiger Claw smirked at Leo and May. "Don't worry about my Footbots. I will finish you myself."

As Karai plants some detonators everywhere, Shinigami was driving Rocksteady towards Bebop. "Come get me, dinosaur."

Rocksteady was offended. "Dinosaur? I am rhinoceros." He charged towards Shinigami but misses and crashes into Bebop. "Bebop!"

Shinigami smirked. "Missed me."

Bebop and Rocksteady noticed a crusher was about to crush the two and flew out of there just in time while Shinigami placed the last detonator.

Leo was helping May fight Tiger Claw as he sees more Footbots. "We got to get out of here!"

"Let's go then!" May nodded as she, Leo, Karai and Shinigami manages to escape from Tiger Claw.

Outside, the three other Turtles and two Mighty Mutanimals arrived. "This is it," Donnie told them.

"Let's do this!" Raph said as he, Donnie, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead hurried into the factory.

Slash nods. "Going in 3… 2… 1!" He bursts through the door.

"Booyaka—" Mikey twirled his nunchucks but stopped to see Leo, Karai and the others are not there. "Aw, man, we missed the battle? Lame, dude."

"They got to be here somewhere," Raph said.

"Let's look around," Leatherhead said as he, Slash, Donnie, Mikey and Raph started walking.

Slash looked around with Donnie and hears some strange beeping noises. "Ya hear that?" He gasped as he noticed lots of detonators Karai left behind and ready to explode and then turned to Donnie, who noticed as well. "Uh oh."

"Guys, out! Quick!" Donnie shouted as he and Slash pushed Raph, Mikey and Leatherhead out of the factory, just as the detonators exploded, blasting the three Turtles and two Mutanimals outside.

Mikey groans as he stood up. "Raph, you okay?"

Raph groaned. "I think so." He looked at Slash and Leatherhead. "Thanks for the save."

"No worries," Slash smiled. "All thanks to—" He noticed that Donnie is unconscious after saving the others from the explosion. "Donatello? Donatello!"

Raph ran over to Donnie and noticed that he hadn't budged an inch. "He's not moving."

Leatherhead grabbed Donnie. "We must tell great Splinter what happened. He has to know about this."

As Leo followed Karai, Shinigami and May, he noticed Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead taking Donnie to the Party Wagon. "Oh, no. What are they doing here?"

"Come on, Leonardo," Shinigami said, looking worried.

"Just go," Leo said, hurrying to his brothers and the two of the Mighty Mutanimals. "I have to help Donnie."

Karai knew that her plan almost killed Donnie. "What? Donatello?"

May frowned. "My cousin's boyfriend?"

Shinigami pulled Karai and May away from Tiger Claw's ice blaster. "Senpai, we must go."

"There is no escape, young ones," Tiger Claw said as he uses his jet pack to fly after Karai, Shinigami and May. Then his blaster exploded after Shini uses her ninja star to destroy it. "Footbots, after them!"

Elsewhere, Slash watched Leatherhead load an unconscious Donnie inside the Party Wagon with the help of Raph. "Put him inside, pronto!" He sees Leo arriving looking angry. "Leonardo."

Leo glared at Raph, Leatherhead and Slash. "What are you guys doing here?"

Raph glared back at Leo, slightly punching his stomach. "What are we doing here? We were looking for you when Donnie got blown up!"

Mikey interrupted Raph and Leo's argument, pointing to Bebop and Rocksteady getting inside their van. "I know how much you like to fight, but the bad guys are still out there."

Slash gets inside the Party Wagon with Leo and Mikey and turns to Raph who's in charge of driving while Leatherhead climbs on top of the wagon. "Step on it!"

Bebop was driving the van as he and Rocksteady chased the Party Wagon. "Ha-ha-ha! Think you can run, Turtles? Boom, baby!"

Rocksteady noticed that Bebop has activated the machine gun. "Hey! I want to fire lasers. They is my thing!"

"Don't mess with the party wagon," Mikey said to Bebop and Rocksteady as he launched a stink bomb at them. "Cowabunga!"

Bebop coughed as the warthog waved away the stinky smell. "Dang, man. That is straight-up nasty."

"I handle this, comrade," Rocksteady said as he activated the two sickles from the van. "Did no one tell Turtles they is too slow?"

Tiger Claw watched as Bebop and Rocksteady popped the tires off of the Party Wagon which was thrown on sideways. "Now, to shell some Turtles!" He opened the doors and noticed that the Turtles have escaped with Slash and Leatherhead.

At the sewer lair, Leo, Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead brought Donnie back.

"Sensei!" Leo, Raph and Mikey shouted.

"Great Splinter!" Leatherhead panted while carrying an unconscious Donnie.

Master Splinter turned around with April, Dr. Rockwell and Suki. "My sons!"

Dr. Rockwell came to Leo, Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead. "Great Scott! What happened to Donatello?"

"The factory! Explosion!" Raph told the chimp.

"Leatherhead, take him to the dojo," Master Splinter said, looking worried. "I will prepare the healing mantras."

"Rockwell, go get the first aid kit," Suki said. "I will get a bowl of water and a small rag."

Leo felt guilty as he stops Master Splinter. "Sensei, wait. It's my fault. Karai and I…we've been taking down Shredder's operations. I thought we could end this. I'm... I'm sorry."

Master Splinter frowned as he went to the dojo to get one of the scrolls. "I have always warned you of vengeance. I am disappointed in you, Leonardo. But I am proud you had the courage to admit your wrongdoing."

Leo nods sadly. "If I had told the others what I was up to, they never would have gone into that building."

"It is right that you should feel pain for your mistakes," Master Splinter said as he watched Raph, Mikey, April, Suki, Kaito, Slash, Leatherhead and Dr. Rockwell looking after Donnie. "But it is one thing to regret bad decisions after they are made. A leader must foresee how bad decisions lead to bad results."

Outside of the dojo, April spoke to Leo and frowned. "Leo, what were you thinking? I could've told you teaming up with those three was a bad idea."

"I don't know," Leo said, still looking guilty. "I guess I thought I could control the situation."

"Karai's gonna do what she wants to do," April said. "And so is my cousin. You're supposed to be our leader."

As April left to look after Donnie, Leo received two text messages from Karai and knew what he must do. Then, he came to see Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead. "Guys, I'm sorry. I should have told you what I was up to. I know I probably don't even deserve to lead this team after what I did. Karai's gonna keep going after Shredder. I need your help."

Soon at Shredder's old lair, Karai was surprised to see Leo arriving with Raph, Mikey, Leatherhead and Slash. "Leo! I didn't think you'd make it. So you're actually going against Splinter's wishes. How's Donatello?"

"He'll be fine," Raph said, looking unamused. "He's a tough turtle."

May scoffs. "Well, we were gonna apologize for the explosion but Donnie will still be okay. Besides… my baby cousin is with him."

Mikey picked up the black cat and spotted Shinigami, smiling. "Hey, Shinigami, remember me?"

Shinigami smirked at Mikey as she acts flirty. "You're the silly one. I like you."

Karai activated the screen that has a Footbot factory with her MOUSERS. "We underestimated Tiger Claw's army. There's no telling how many Footbots he has. We need to go after the source."

Raph was surprised and unamused. "A Footbot factory? Are you crazy?"

"It'll be worth it," Karai said. "Without soldiers, infiltrating Shredder's secret lair will be that much easier."

"We don't even know where his secret lair is," Raph frowned.

Karai smirked. "I thought you and Slash liked a challenge, Raphael."

Leo walked up a bit. "Raph's right. I can't let you take this kind of risk."

Karai then tried to seduce Leo. "I need your help on this one, Leo. For old time's sake."

Leo knocked Karai's hand away. "Sorry, Karai. Your charms won't work this time. We'll stop you if we have to."

Karai stopped her Foot Soldiers from attacking and chuckled. "Have it your way." She threw smoke at Leo, Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead.

"Sorry guys," May said as Shinigami used her bats to make them around three Turtles and two Mighty Mutanimals.

Raph groans as he noticed Karai and her Foot Clan vanished. "Well, that was a good plan."

Meanwhile at a Footbot factory, Tiger Claw watched as new Footbots called the Elite Footbots were being created. Then, he spoke to Bebop and Rocksteady. "Karai is sure to attempt another attack. Scan for explosives. We must protect this factory at any cost."

"No worries, G," Bebop said. "We got it covered. Like mayonnaise on a hot dog."

"Da," Rocksteady agreed. "Even cockroach wearing the sneakers could not sneaks in."

Karai arrived with Shinigami, May and the Foot Soldiers and prepares to strategize. "A few Footbots should be no problem. We take this place down quickly before the rest are..." She noticed one of the Elite Footbots had turned around to look at her. "Oh, no."

May frowned. "Well, that's what you get for leaving the Turtles and the Mutanimals behind."

Shinigami looks at the Elite Footbots. "These don't look like Footbots."

Out in the city, Leo, Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead are in the Shellraiser, heading towards the Footbot factory to find Karai.

"This is it," Leo said, driving the Shellraiser.

Raph glared at Leo. "I still can't believe you were working with Karai behind Splinter's back."

"You don't have to rub it in," Leo replied.

"Just saying," Raph said. "That sounds more like me. Remember when I wanted to dress up as the Nightwatcher vigilante, and you talked me out of it?"

"You can always be Turflytle's faithful sidekick, Maggot Boy," Mikey said, making Raph annoyed.

At the Footbot factory, Karai, Shinigami and May are fighting off the Elite Footbots but there are no efforts on taking them down even with the Foot Soldiers.

Tiger Claw glared at Karai. "You are no match for our Elite Footbots, girl. Do you think your thugs are true ninja?" He punched her stomach and has the Elite Footbots tie her up with chains. "Footbots, keep them close. If the Turtles and the Mighty Mutanimals arrive..." Then, Tiger Claw saw Leo, Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead arrive and taking down one of the Elite Footbots.

"Let them go, Tiger Claw!" Leo said.

Tiger Claw growled as he fired his weapon. "I can always count on the hero."

While Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead went to free Shinigami, May and the Foot Soldiers, Leo frees Karai. "I feel like I'm making a habit of saving you lately."

Karai looked slightly annoyed. "Well, maybe if you could arrive five minutes earlier..." Her conversation was interrupted by Tiger Claw who came to attack.

Shinigami noticed a Footbot trying to attack Mikey. "Look out!" She knocked down the bot and frees herself.

Mikey was impressed. "I like your style, witch girl."

"Then, try to keep up," Shinigami said as she leap into action.

Raph freed May and the Foot Ninjas with Slash and Leatherhead and starts fighting the Elite Footbots. "I can't believe we're helping Foot Soldiers fight Footbots."

"I know right?" Slash said, fighting off the Elite Footbots. "Pretty cool if ya ask me."

"Of course you guys are, Raph," May said as she helps Raph and two Mutanimals fight. "And no, Slash, it's not cool."

Karai fights Tiger Claw with Leo and sees more Footbots spawning. "We got to shut down these robots, or we won't stand a chance."

As Karai hurried to plant bombs, Slash turned to Leatherhead and Raph. "Raph, Leatherhead, get the controls."

Raph and Leatherhead hurried to the controls to turn off the Footbots.

Leatherhead sees Raph trying to find an off switch. "What now, Raphael? Is there a button that turns everything off?"

Raph frowned as he tries to find an off button. "Can't they just label the off switch? I can't believe I'm gonna say this. I wish Donnie and Rockwell were here."

Bebop was shooting glue at Shinigami and Mikey. "You are gonna pay for gooin' me, girl. You know how long it took to unstick me?"

Slash was fighting Rocksteady. "All right, rhino man. Let's see what you're made of." He blocks his hammer attack with his mace.

Leo turns to see Rocksteady fighting Slash. "Uh, over here, horns-for-brains."

Mikey insults the rhino. "Yo mama wears combat boots."

Rocksteady gets offended as he stops fighting Slash. "Hey! Mama does wear the combat boots." He bashed through some Elite Footbots and then crashed into Bebop who glued Shinigami.

May went to help Karai plant more bombs but then starts to slip. "Whoa!" She looks to see Raph and Leatherhead pressing buttons on the controls. "Of course."

"Stop mashing buttons!" Karai told Raph and Leatherhead.

"Wait, we almost got it!" Raph said as he and Leatherhead continued to press some buttons. "Maybe we don't got it."

As everyone are surrounded by more Elite Footbots, Tiger Claw flew towards Karai and May. "There is no escape for you."

May tossed the last detonator to Karai. "Plant the last one! Hurry!"

Karai nods as she jumped up to the top and placed the last detonator.

Tiger Claw shoots his laser and aims his gun at Karai. "Wrong move." He noticed that she pulled out a button. "What do you think you're doing?"

"This," Karai said, pressing the button.

"What? No!" Tiger Claw cried as the detonators exploded and the vat that is filled with lava fell and the lava flew onto the Elite Footbots which made them short circuited.

"Ninjas, Mutanimals, move!" Leo said as he, Raph, Mikey, Slash and Leatherhead hurried to escape.

"Stop them, you fools!" Tiger Claw cried.

"Karai," Leo said, noticing the wounds on Karai's face.

Karai smiled. "Thanks, Leo."

As three Turtles, two Mutanimals, Karai, Shinigami and May left the factory before the police arrive, Leo goes to check on Karai's wound. "Let me look at it."

"I'm fine," Karai said as she use snake skin to heal herself and then turns human, completely healthy, much to everyone's surprise.

"That's a cool trick," May smiled.

"I told you it was dangerous," Leo said.

"I told you I was fine," Karai snapped as she and the others entered the sewers.

At the dojo in the sewer lair, Donnie woke up after being healed by Master Splinter's healing mantra.

"You okay, D?" April was relieved to see Donnie awake.

Donnie groaned. "Is that ringing coming from my ears or my brain?"

"Well, Donatello, you still need to recover more," Dr. Rockwell said. "But your brothers will be thrilled to see you awake."

Mikey arrived with Leo, Raph, Leatherhead and Slash and sees Donnie awake. "Donnie!"

"My friend!" Leatherhead cried as he, Slash and the three Turtles rushed to hug Donnie.

"I'm okay," Donnie said as he noticed his brothers and two of the Mutanimals about to hug him. "Wait, wait, don't touch me! No! I'm hurting."

Suki walked up to Karai with Master Splinter. "Hey cousin. Let me guess… you're regretting your decision to take down Shredder's empire?"

"Maybe," Karai said as she looks at Master Splinter. "I'm sorry, Father. I'm glad Donatello is all right."

Master Splinter frowned as he looks at Karai. "Now you see the kind of pain and suffering revenge causes."

Karai nods as she turns away. "I know. I thought I could make this about taking down Shredder's organization, but it's too much of a risk going after petty targets just to spite him. I promise I will no longer go after Shredder's possessions. I'll go after Shredder himself." She walks away, pulling out her katana.
