Sonic: King of Mobigypt

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Sorry for the delay, but been focusing on other projects. Also, things have been slow with me as work and other things have started to sap my strength and creativity.

But rest assured on one thing; I will see this story through to the very end! But when this, and my other Sonic specials are done, going to focus on my own projects like my Star Vs. story, the second book to my Danny Phantom x Dragonball crossover special & also an upcoming triple crossover special done by me and my dear friend Author Dreams Come True 996!

So got a lot to do! This story here is an idea suggested by my good friend Author edowdle, and doing my best to honor his request.

Now, on with the fanfic!)

The alluring genie Shahra smirked at the stunned duo before her and inquired in a playful tone, "So… do you two realize yet on what you got here?".

Sonic answered in an awed tone, "Wow… man, do I ever! I mean, I have seen and experienced some STRANGE and amazing things in my life so far! But what you did, it easily ranks into the top ten area! Whoo!". The two females in the room had to smile at that, as Sonic sounded & acted a little like a child that had seen something incredible for the very first time.

Punk-Tawana than remembered something, looking to the items orbiting the redheaded magical beauty. Her eyes locked on the ring and she replied, "Well, we all know what Sonic has since he was the one that rubbed your lamp. But… what about the ring? Didn't you say that a friend of yours… ah, Shantae, I believe she was called, inhabits it?".

The magically powerful woman looked at the small ring, picking it from its orbit around her and gazing at it for a bit. She missed her friend, and it would be good again to see & talk to her in the flesh and blood. However, she had got a glimpse of inside the anthro female bandicoot's mind during her little performance, and even though she was a good enough person… she felt that perhaps Sonic would be more suited to look after her friend.

Sonic managed to get out of his little stupor, hearing the conversation and also seeing Shahra's look of doubt as she studied the ring. He put on a smirk and stated, "Hey Shahra, I think that Tawana here is excellent enough to be your friend's Master. Or in this case since she is a girl, a Mistress. Besides, I don't think I would be comfortable having two genies at my beck and call. I mean, isn't there a rule against something like that?".

Shahra and Punk-Tawana looked at the hedgehog, his words touching them in different ways. The blonde & blue-haired beauty was touched that Sonic thought her capable of handling a powerful genie, while the buxom redheaded woman was glad that the anthro male blue dude was cautious when it came to having too much power like so.

The genie of the lamp managed to get herself back together, looking at Sonic and answering, "Well, it is not against genie law per say, but it is frowned upon that one mortal have two extremely powerful genies. Well… Shantae maybe half a genie, but she does have potential and power…".

Before she could continue on, she was interrupted by Punk-Tawana as she stated in an inquisitive and surprised tone, "Wait! Shantae is half a genie? How is that possible?". Even Sonic was surprised, and a bit perplexed, that a hybrid like so existed.

Shahra sighed and explained to the two anthros, "Shantae is half-genie, half-human as her father was a mortal & her mother a Guardian Genie. Guardian Genies are women genies with incredible magical might and capabilities, but they used them of their own free will & they were not bound to small objects like lamps. Their acts of heroism earned much gratitude from the mortals, provided years of peace in the land they defended… and also won the hearts of many mortal men.".

This certainly surprised the duo, and it showed on their faces. Shahra finished up, "Shantae has limited magical powers, but she has several skills and other capabilities that make her a formidable and potent woman. She used to be free until she was caught by several mortal sorcerers who bound her to the ring, and would have used her for their own selfish gain had it not been for my previous Master rescuing her. She and I became good friends for a time, but we were separated from him when we got caught up in a battle between rival desert tribes. Shantae was taken, and my Master put me back in the lamp. He hid my lamp in one of the secret bases, and said he would return soon for me… but as you saw earlier…".

Indeed, Sonic and Punk-Tawana remembered what was shown to them earlier. Ma-Sonic and Penelope's son had found the box, most likely due to the secret base collapsing after much time had passed & being upheaved by the sand as well due to time.

Shahra looked to the female bandicoot, directly gazing into her eyes hard and asked in a firm tone, "Will you promise to never abuse or misuse my friend here? She is a good person, and I would hate myself to know I gave her to someone that would use her for any kind of evil.".

Punk-Tawana heard the seriousness and firmness in the genie's tone. She had dealt with crazy declarations of madness and such from her old homeworld, but this… this was different. Shahra here was deadly serious, and she had the power to really back up anything that could be thrown at her. Gathering her confidence and courage, she returned the firm look and replied, "I promise to not abuse or misuse your friend, Shahra. You got my word on that.".

Sonic put in his own words, "If she is giving you that, then it's as good as gold, Shahra. I may have known Tawana for a little bit, but I know that she does not break her promises at all.". Once more the tough-looking bandicoot was touched by Sonic's words. True, they had known each other for perhaps a month or so, but it seemed that Sonic trusted her enough like so.

Shahra still looked uncertain… but she decided to take that leap of faith and trust in her Master's words. Slowly, she gave the ring to Punk-Tawana. The female bandicoot accepted the ring and put it on her right hand finger. The ring glowed golden for a moment before fading, signaling that the bond between Mistress and Servant was complete.

Sonic put in, "By the way Shahra, does Shanate's wishes work like the other you in the Arabian Nights story? I mean, does she grant unlimited wishes but each wish is very limited?".

The genie of the lamp nodded her head and answered, "That is correct. While she can grant a multitude of wishes, they can only be in small scopes. She cannot make grand wishes like giving someone great wealth or power.".

Tawana accepted the explanation, glad that while she cannot make grand wishes, at least she had an infinite number of wishes at her disposal. And that could make the difference in a tight spot. She examined the trinket, as it did look more than an ordinary ring, before looking to the genie and asked, "So… how do I call her out?".

The redhead buxom beauty smiled a little and answered, "Just give the ring a gentle rub three times, and she'll appear."

Punk-Tawana used her other hand to rub the ring's surface three time back and forth… and she felt the magical trinket getting warm fast! It was not unpleasant, just unexpected, and the ring started to glow a beautiful bronze color! A thin stream of bronze energy escaped from the ring, stopping a small distance from the trio! Shahra had a soft, warm smile on as she was going to see her friend after much millennia's had passed. Sonic and Punk-Tawana had surprised looked on their faces as the energy started to expand quickly and take shape.

It soon formed the image of a very curvy and feminine woman… and a flash of light blinded them for a moment! When it died down, the genie and anthro were greeted with the sight of a bronze-skinned beauty with long purple hair done in a ponytail with a solid gold head piece of sort, golden armbands, a golden crown of sort with a blue jewel in the middle of it on her head, alluring sea-green eyes, tasteful golden earring hoops, wearing a red bra that held her impressive mounds, red cylinder-shaped arm bands & black and red pants that seemed to really fit snug on her form!

Sparkles of light flew from her being as she spun twice, bowed to the others and stated with a regal tone, "Shantae the Guardian Genie, at your service!".

Shahra clapped her hands and spoke in a friendly, teasing tone, "Heh, you haven't lost your touch when it comes to theatrics my friend.". Shantae rose her head back up quick as she heard the sound of someone she has not heard in quite a long time. She got a real good look at who was before her, as her eyes were closed earlier when she introduced herself. She saw Sonic, Tawana… and then her long-time friend Shahra!

The eyes of the purple-haired beauty misted up, as a smile formed on her face before she gave a shout of joy and leapt in the air to hug her friend! Sonic noted on how far she leapt from that one leap alone, which to him was a bit impressive. The younger-looking genie cried in joy at being reunited with her best female friend, who hugged her gently as she too was happy at the reunion.

After a few moments had passed, the genies broke their embrace but Shantae sniffed softly as she wiped away her tears. She looked to Shahra and spoke in a jovial tone which would be her normal one, "Shahra! Girl, it is good to see you again! How long has it been since we last met?!".

The redheaded beauty giggled softly at the antics of her friend and answered, "Heh, it's been about 5,000 or so years I believe when we last saw each other in the flesh and blood.". To magical beings like her, thousands of years would seem like less to one who was more or less immortal.

Shantae's eyes widened a bit at hearing the information and inquired in a semi-urgent tone, "5,000 years?! That long?! So, that means that everyone and everything has…".

The genie of the lamp nodded her head, a sad look on her face as she replied, "Yes… they are gone. And also everything has changed.".

The being from the ring looked stunned and also sad, Sonic and Punk-Tawana feeling a bit bad for her. They both knew the pain of losing loved ones or friends, and for her to realize that all whom she knew in the past were all now departed… must have weighed heavily on her.

After some time in absorbing the words of her friend, Shantae looked to her friend and asked in a sad tone, "H-How has it changed?".

Shahra sighed and answered, "It'll be best if I showed you. I managed to get some things as well from my new Master while I shifted through his memories earlier.". She raised her right hand, putting her finger and middle finger together and touching the forehead of Shantae.

Sonic and Punk-Tawana heard the words from her, the hedgehog exclaiming in surprise, "Wait! Is that how you brought out all of those girls from before?! And also Shadow and the others?!".

The alluring human female looked at Sonic, winked at him cutely and answered, "Of course! I can subtly look into the minds of others without them knowing. For those that are quite sensitive or experts in mind abilities, it's a bit more of a challenge.".

This surprised the duo very much, and before they could say anything… they saw Shahra's fingertips glow a soft golden color, and Shantae gasped softly as all kinds of information came flooding into her head! Mortal minds would break at the influx of such knowledge and information coming into their minds that quickly and powerfully. But genies were made of tougher stuff as Shantae endured having so much history and more enter into her cranium.

After five minutes had passed, Shahra's fingers stopped glowing and she slowly pulled away from Shantae. She looked at her friend carefully and asked, "So… how do you feel?".

After a moment or two had passed, Shanate quickly shook her hair like one would after getting out of the shower. She made a strange sound of sort as she did so, than rose her head back up and stated with a cheerful smile and tone, "Feel great now that I'm caught up with everything!".

Sonic and Punk-Tawana admitted this to themselves in their minds, 'Have to give her credit, she bounces back quick!'.

Shantae said out loud but mostly to herself, "So… Mobius is all changed now. And it's been undergoing some radical changes thanks to blue boy over there and his fight with the one called Dr. Robotnik, who is now calling himself by the ridiculous name of Eggman. I have to say, I met some people that renamed themselves with silly names, but that one takes the cake.".

Sonic replied, "Hey! In my defense, I had to do what I did to stop Egg-belly. Besides, it's not just him that changed Mobius a lot, but others with incredible powers that wanted to take a piece out of my hide and conquer the planet. I had to stop them as best I could!".

The purple-haired beauty looked to Sonic with a softened expression and remarked, "Hey, I don't blame you for doing what you needed to do Sonic. From what I gathered, you are a hero for the planet and its people. The Guardian Genies would have loved to meet someone like you.".

Shantae really could not blame Sonic at all for how radically Mobius had changed, as the events she saw thanks to Shahra displayed that he HAD to go all out in order to prevent the planet and her people from being enslaved/killed/altered by beings who only sought their own goals that called for destruction and devastation.

The genie of the ring looked to Punk-Tawana, going to her and soon studying her as she walked around her slowly in a circle, like a scientist examining a specimen. The female bandicoot looked at her new servant warily as she did this, asking in a cautious tone, "Umm… what are you doing?".

Shantae soon completed her revolution around Tawana, than answered, "I'm just seeing if you are a good choice for me to be bound to. And from what I can tell from your looks and memories, it seems that you will do fine… for now at least.".

The changed bandicoot was a bit miffed on the last statement and wanted to speak her mind, but she remembered that Shantae was a powerful being, even if she was a half-genie. And with Shahra, a full-blooded one her friend and backing her up, she believed that some poor choice words out of anger would not be the best decision. So she kept it to herself.

Shahra looked to Sonic and asked the big question, "So Master… what is it that you wish for?".

The speedy blue hero of Mobius looked at her, than adopted a thinking pose. He said to himself in his head, 'Now that is a good question. What DO I want? I mean… I have everything I need now, and yet… not many things to do now that Eggman is gone. And the others are living their own lives now, so I don't want to disturb them…'.

The ladies saw the hedgehog in deep thought, wondering on what was going through the mind of the spiky anthro hero. After some moments, Sonic seemed to have come to a decision. He looked to Shahra and asked her, "Well… before I answer your question. I have one for you. Can you make an entirely new world?".

This mildly surprised the females there, Shahra looking to her friend for a moments as if looking for confirmation. And when she turned her gaze back to Sonic, she answered him, "Well… we can make a new world, but it would have to be in a pocket dimension of our design. And it would take an incredible amount of power and magic. Why do you want this wish?".

Normally, it was not proper genie etiquette for a genie to ask such a question to their master/mistress, but Shahra felt it was needed.

Sonic rubbed the back of his head and answered, "Well… everything has been going slow for me. The doctor is long gone, banished to some unknown part of the universe. And everyone is now living their own lives in peace, and I don't want to pull them away from that. And… well, to be honest while treasure hunting is good and all, I crave some intense adventure! Maybe… one last big one before settling down.".

Even Sonic realized that he was getting a bit on in age, and while still the fastest thing alive… he knew that one day, age would catch up with him. So perhaps before settling down, he would have one last big adventure. One that would be remembered for all time, surpassing the other adventures he had endured in his career as a hero and Freedom Fighter!

Tawana was a bit surprised to hear this from Sonic, but it seemed that Shahra and Shantae understood it. They came together and talked for some moments before separating and looking to the hedgehog. She stated, "First off, let's take this back to the mortal world.". With a wave of her hand, Sonic and Tawana were covered in smoke! They let out a yelp before flying high into the ceiling! A black hole appeared in which they went through, Shahra and Shantae rising up to follow them.

Back outside in the chamber, the lamp moved and jumped around a little before white smoke emerged from it! The smoke escaped from its spout, soon congealing and taking solid shape. The shapes were Sonic and Punk-Tawana, who landed on their bottoms when they fully formed. They rose up from the soft landing, then looked to the lamp to see red and purple smoke coming forth. And emerging in a flash of light from the smoke were the two alluring genies.

Shahra floated close to the duo, looking to Sonic and stating, "I can grant you your wish… but in order to do this, I will need the power of the God-Emeralds and the Phantom Ruby. Do you accept this?". She wanted to make sure, as while she had the power to make Sonic's wish come true, the powerful gem artifacts would make it much easier on her. To lessen the strain if you will on making a whole new world inside a new pocket dimension-universe.

Plus, she had her own designs concerning the gemstones and Sonic.

Sonic looked to his genie and answered with some confidence in his tone, "I accept! Use the God-Emeralds and Phantom Ruby if you need to. In fact, I believe they are better in your hands than mine.".

Shahra liked the level of trust that Sonic showed to her, and would do what she could so that said trust could not be broken. She floated a small distance from him, going to the middle of the whole room and said, "If that is an official wish, say the proper words please!".

The blue hedgehog knew what she was trying to say, gathered his words in his mind and proclaimed, "I wish for a new world for me and Tawana to explore! One full of adventure, mystery and enchantment!".

The words echoed for all to hear… and Shahra smiled as she exclaimed in an authoritive tone, "So you shall wish it, so it shall be done!". She closed her eyes, clapped her hands which soon glowed with red magical energy, started to focus… and that is when things got crazy!

Sonic and the others saw the four powerful God-Emeralds and Phantom Ruby rising up, encircling in a tight orbit around Shahra's body. It was slow at first, but the Emeralds and Ruby gradually started to increase their speed revolution around her. The colorful gemstones soon started to shine bright, their power activating as Shahra called forth the energy into her!

Chaos & reality power mixed with magic, causing her to shine bright like a dwarf star! Sonic and Tawana shielded their eyes, the ground started to tremble as the pressure of power increased! Shantae turned back into energy and disappeared back into the ring.

Shahra focused and concentrated, utilizing her knowledge and what she gained from Sonic's memories to create the ideal kind of world for her Master! And also… one to test him, to see if he was truly worthy of a plan that she had just come up with.

After some intense moments, she raised her hands up… and a powerful shockwave of white light burst forth! It cut through the thick walls of the chamber, sending ripples through the ground that spread out far and wide like ripples on a pond when a stone was thrown in! it would be felt by many, organic and inorganic, in many miles.

When the light died down… the chamber was empty, save for a glowing hole in the fabric of reality that was the same of a baseball. It was now the entranceway to a whole new universe and world… where Sonic and Tawana were now at!

A new adventure had begun!

Sonic and Tawana are now on a brand new adventure, the one last big HURAH for the hedgehog before he decides to settle down for good. And what is this adventure? Heh, you will have to wait and see in the future chapters to come!
