I laid my head against hers. " I'm never truly GONE...but with you here...around me..right now I cant continue myself..or him from unleashing hell... listen close Devil woman...you do something to me... something new, raw and I'd be lying if i didn't say it was addicting...that I wasn't' under your crafty spell...you said you had a message for me...but I heard you loud and clear. And i have a message for you too". My lips captured hers in a deep tenderizing kiss.. I put my Shakey hand behind her nap and pushed her closer... diving in deeper, tasting her longer...when I pulled back both of us tried to catch our breath
I put my head up against hers. I did my best to control the longing desire to pull her back in my arms, i closed my eyes and deeply inhaled her scent, then whispered softly. " You're not just anyone to me either Kagome." i said strainfully.
I dropped my hand from her waist and raised my head and stepped back. " Now go," i begged.
Now on 'Devil Woman
She looked up at me with such sadness and longing, i whimpered and forced myself to look anywhere else but at her. This was pure torture.
The fight between what was right and what i really wanted was driving me insane.
it was only rational that she fled, away from me during this dangerous situation, yet she just stood there firmly looking up at me with big brown worrisome eyes that just made her all the more tempting.
but she had to leave...now...cause i was quickly losing and slipping back into the darkness.
" GO.." I yelled, because she refused consistently i grabbed her arm and forced her out my door. Once i closed the door, i hurried and locked it.
" I'm sorry Kagome, " i whispered. " This is the only way i can keep you safe...now please go. "
tisk tisk what a shame...you could've had her too...but no, you decided to play the hero and chase her out the door. What's the matter half demon, scared of your own desires? are you perhaps terrified of your own self control when it comes to that woman? ...or is it that you're just scared that you'll end up killing her in the process* The demon snickered
I laid my back up against the door and slid down. My body felt like led, my hands shook as i held my head to ring out the voice..but it was there taunting. And before i knew it i was lost back into the darkness again surrounded by nothing but only what the demon allowed me to see.
" One thing you forgot about half demon". the demon turned and looked at his reflection in the mirror, a sick twisted grin formed on his face. "Wherever that woman goes i will find her. Regardless of your human nature...you can't protect that girl from me. She...Is already mine!"
Kagome ran back to her own place across town and went and locked all the doors and windows. she changed out of her clothes and locked herself in the bathroom.
She nervously played with hair as she sat down against the tub. She was beyond terrified, she was confused, lost and yet a part of her still wanted to be back there with Inuyasha.
but when she saw his face start to change again she heeded his words and ran.
what was he? she wondered. She feared the red eyed beast would try and come find her so every little noise made her jump...she picked the wrong part of the apartment to hide...what was she gonna do if he busted down the door, through shampoo at him...?
the idea struck her funny and in the mist of being terrified she stifles a laugh.
outta know where she heard a loud knocking at her front door, she hurried and clamped a hand over her mouth silencing herself.
the knocking continued and became faster and louder. She quietly opened her bathroom window and went over to the sink underneath,was a cabinet she opened her bathroom cabinet and climbed underneath.
Hoping that with the window opened, it would make it seem like she escaped and was no longer trapped inside the apartment.
A sick menacing grin went across the demon's face as he placed his ear on the door and listened to the worried woman inside scramble around trying to find someplace to hide.
he removed his ear and raised his clawed hand and tapped on the surface with his knuckles. " KA- GO- ME" he called out... nothing
tap,tap, tap on the door again and he was greeted by silence.
" Ah, the games you humans play. " the demon snickered.
" I can play games too, wench" an idea popped up
in his devious mind.
" Kagome , it's me. I was able to suppress the demon back for now, I wanted to make sure you were okay." he huffed and grunted." I'm sorry Kagome...for scaring you, I didn't mean for you or anyone else to find out...about my true nature...not like this. " he made his voice pleading and apologetic. " please Kagome...I need to make sure you're okay".
And now we wait* his red crimson eyes laughing with evil intent.
"Let me go, let me out I need to stop this, she didn't do anything wrong why are you targeting her, what did she do" Inuyasha screamed out, trying to rip a hole through the darkness.
panic started to sit in his chest when the demon allowed Inuyasha to watch what he was doing.
" NO LEAVE HER ALONE SHE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING...PLEASE I BEG OF YOU..."
Inuyasha begging the demon to spare kagome seemed to have irritated him.
~hasn't done anything...pfft...are you blind half demon or are you numb to the raging blood that she awakens under the surface of your skin? ah that's right the visions...must not have shown you anything if your still at a loss of why...this girl is so familiar yet different ~
Inuyasha's chest was pulsating, his hand flew to his pounding heart and he grunted out in pain
~ I think it's time...for you to WAKE UP ~
MEMORY FLOOD
After the demon commanded Inuyasha to wake up a flood of memories rushed in and he was remembering the day him and Kagome first met
he remembered the battles, the betrayal he put Kagome through, their friends...he remembered everything...he even remembered how he ended up here in modern Tokyo instead of his home 500 years ago in the past.
He remembers why the demon side of him feels so hurt and loathsome.
when they vanquished Naraku and purified the Shikon Jewel. Kagome made the final wish that the jewel would disappear from the world forever.
but when the jewel disappeared so did Kagome ...and eventually his reasoning for existing.
as these memories flood back his stricken with waves of sadness and waves of despair..along with streams of tears.
he remembered going on a rampage and finding the demon known for making magical relics and known for his sorcery, And commanded him to make something to bring Kagome back
But certain magic, came with a price.
~you plead and persist that she didn't do anything. She went away and left us all alone in the dark for 3 long years...we waited by that old rotting well, just waiting... hoping that she'd come back to us and for what? ...to be left alone...on top of being forgotten. YOU may have forgotten , but I didn't ~
The demon growled and hissed out his anger, hurt and rage...Him going after Kagome was his way of inflicting the same amount of pain the demon and I both felt.
I whipped the tears off my face and with all my efforts and might I shook my head in disagreement. " It wasn't her fault, WE went to the sorcerer..and WE asked for something that came with a price. Kagome's disappearance was attached to the disappearance of the jewel. She brought the Shikon Jewel back to feudal Japan, she also wished it away...She didn't leave by choice...I knew that, we both knew that...but we were both so blinded by loneliness and grief..and watching the others live out their happy lives made us all the more mad for the same.
~ she's our mate...she should know her place.~
Inuyasha nods sympathizing with the demon. " your right...her place is by our side. and if you don't let me out, you'll end up doing something that causes both of us to lose her... forever."
