I am me, Nobody Else! Chapter 1
The boy arrived at Kuoh Academy, the school year was starting and things seemed fine. There were a lot of girls it seemed but the brothers were fine. Issei could be seen walking as he approached them.
''Yo Naoto! Naruto! How have you guys been?'' Issei asked as he parked his bicycle and locked it to avoid having it stolen. Naruto smiled and waved at him as he answered him.
''Yo Issei it has been a while. What happened to you since? Ever since middle school, we guys went to different schools until now. What has been going on in your life?'' Naruto asked as Issei answered him.
''Not much... My dad still is working a ton and well, my reputation is in the gutter here so it would be best if we avoid seeing each other as I don't want you guys getting caught in this... I have been fine otherwise. But that is enough about me. What about you guys? Especially you Naoto... you look like you got dumped or something bad happened recently. You wanna talk about it?'' Issei asked after responding which prompted Naoto to answer.
''I-I dunno...I have been having weird dreams and well... they keep going on... they are not even normal dreams too... they feel so surreal and like someone is trying to reach out to me... The sleeping medications haven't been much help quelling them either...'' Naoto said as Issei looked worried before he spoke as we arrived at the lockers.
''Damn... That sucks so bad... I knew you and I took it bad when Rin-Kun left but still man... Well if you need a hand I'm here for you now since we are in the same school. Do you have a cellphone? Gimme your number so we can hang out again.'' Issei said as the boys exchanged numbers before Naruto was holding a burst of laughter as Naoto and Issei looked at him offended.
''What got you smiling and holding a snicker like you put a red sock in someone's washing machine?'' Naoto asked as Issei looked worried.
''Naruto..? You're scaring me and reminding me of when I became the victim of said red sock...'' Issei said worriedly. Naruto snicked and answered cryptically.
''Well...it doesn't matter for now but it's about Rin-Kun... I was remembering the good old times.'' Naruto said as Issei breathed a sigh of relief as he spoke before each boy went to class.
''If... you say... anyway let's hang out after school ok?'' Issei said as the three of them went to class. The three were unaware of a red-head and a girl with short black hair and glasses who had said something.
''Hmm...It seems all three of them have something indeed. Rias who are you claiming then?'' The girl with glasses asked the redhead who smiled as she answered her friend.
''Hm... I dunno... all three of them have potential the school year is still young. I'll just have them tailed and see if they have anything that could fit in my peerage. You can get those I can't find a proper piece for them, Sona.'' Rias said as she left Sona to think about many things
The morning was fine and boring and uneventful as the lunch break arrived. The students arrived in the cafeteria... A small white-haired girl walked to Rias discretely as she spoke.
''Buchou... Hyoudou smells like a dragon. The Uzumaki in purple Naoto reeks of Magic and Chakra, his brother Naruto reeks of Chakra and seems to have more than Naoto. The weird part is I can tell they aren't Yokais.'' The girl said as Rias seemed to think as she spoke to herself.
''Hmm...Now that is interesting... Keep tailing them Koneko.'' Rias as Koneko did as she was told. Eventually, lunch break was over and the afternoon classes started. Naoto was leaving but a voice stopped. It was Issei who began talking with him.
''Yo, you got any plans for after school?'' Issei asked as Naoto shrugged and answered him.
''Not really... With the dreams and stress, I have been having I don't plan things too much in advance...'' Naoto answered as Issei smiled and explained himself.
''Great! I was thinking we could go to the Arcade and card shop and have fun like the good old days. Plus it may help us and we could talk about things. Plus sea-salted popsicles are on me and they are your favorite!'' Issei said with the last part in a sing-song manner as Naoto chuckled and answered him.
''Of course, I'll go you asshole... You mentioned sea-salted popsicles you ass...'' Naoto nodded and it was clear it was a friendly banter as the two left for the arcade and card shop. The two were still unaware of things as the same redhead and girl with glasses who were playing chess in the school student council room spoke up.
''Well the year is bound to get even more interesting if this keeps up, that boy Naoto Uzumaki may make Issei more worthwhile.'' Sona said as Rias chuckled and laughed at her friend as she answered him.
''Of course, you'd say that Sona... still dealing with too many complaints from the people complaining about the perverted trio that Issei is a part of?'' Rias joked as Sona sighed and responded
''Of course, you'd say it so casually as you're not the one dealing with those Rias. I can't say I hate perverts as you know what we are Rias... but I am hopeful as Naoto seems to be able to tone Issei's pervertion in everyday life. What Hyoudou does in private is his prerogative but in public his actions have consequences. Sona said as Rias nodded and decided to tease her friend.
''Still...is it me or do you seem to be planning to have Naoto beat you in chess?'' Rias asked teasing her friend whose face turned red in embarrassment before putting her in a checkmate as Rias laughed as she lost the game of chess.
