Chapter 51: Rise of Arthrok (1):
Nancy's POV:
My crew and I were chasing a ghost.
"You'll never take me alive," says the ghost.
"Yeah, we know that," I said.
"Oh right, I'm dead."
Then we had him in a dead end. Just as he was about to phase through the wall, we use the Tome of Doom to trap him.
"Another one bites the dust," says Ned.
"I steell say ze ghahsts ahre too fooleesh. Eef eet were me, you would ahll be dead by now."
"I am so getting tired of this," says George, "would someone else like to have a ghost in her head!"
"It's not that bad," says Bess.
"Not that bad," George asks, "for one thing, I can't get a date because people think I'm dating you!"
"That does complicate things," says Shaun.
"And let's not forget how rude and obnoxious she is," says George.
"We can agree with that," I said.
"Oh, and there's something else," says George, "what is it? Oh yeah, she tried to kill us in the first place!"
"Well, unfortunately, you can't just evict her," says Ned.
"I know," says George.
"Come on guys," I said, "let's talk with Sabrina."
Gomber's POV:
"The time has come!"
"So, what's the plan," I asked.
"You must have all the ghosts terrify everyone in Riverdale! All that fear will weaken my prison and then I will be free to destroy this world and remake it in my image!"
"Nancy Drew's been trapping ghosts," I said, "but I'll see if the amount I have can get to work."
"Wait, Nancy Drew is a threat! You must get rid of her!"
"Any ideas," I asked.
"Use that dagger. If it cuts her, she will be trapped between your world and the spirit world!"
"This will be fun," I said.
Nancy's POV:
"You've been trapping many ghosts," says Sabrina, "but you still need to stop Gomber! I have a feeling he's got something big planned for Riverdale!"
"I had a dream that told me a darkness was coming," says Salem, "you must hurry!"
"First, we need to find him," I said.
"Maybe the ghosts can tell us," says Shaun.

We then opened up the Tome of Doom. Sabrina casts a spell and Jefferson Westfall comes out.
"Wayul, it hif ain't thuh girl who kept may frum mah mine!"
"Westfall, we need to know where Gomber is," I said.
"An whuts in it fahwar may?"
"What do you want," I asked.
"Wadja thank? Ah want mah diamonds!"
"You're dead," says Ned, "what could you do with diamonds?"
"Naw diamonds, naw Gomber!"
"Fine," I said, "where is he?"
"He's at thuh same hideout whayer yawl use thet hidden staircase tuh git tuh!"
"Seriously," I asked.

We then used the hidden staircase to get to Gomber's hideout.
"Gomber probably has the place swarming with ghosts," says Ned.
We then heard a sound. "That was me," says Shaun, "this place makes yawning sound like moaning." We then heard another sound. "That was a ghost."

We then entered a room.
"Greetings, Nancy Drew!"
"Who said that," I asked.
"I am Arthrok! Long ago, your ancestor, as well as two others imprisoned me!"
"You're that evil the Gargoyle King was talking about," I said.
"Yes. And tonight is the night where I will be free!"
"So, Gomber was working for you," I said.
"Yes, and the time is nigh!"
"Who even says nigh," asks George.
All the ghosts then show up.
"It's like poltergeist palooza," says Shaun.
Then Gomber throws a dagger at me...

I opened my eyes, and everyone looked around. "Where's Nancy," asks Ned.
"I'm right here," I said. Then my hand phases through Ned. That's when I realized I wasn't here!
"She's stuck between our world and the Spirit World," says Gomber, "she's somewhere around here, but we can't see, hear, or touch her!"
"You are going to pay for that," says George.
"Hold that thought," says Gomber, "ghosts, time to party!"
The ghosts then all get unleashed.
"You can't," I said.
"Yes, we can," says a ghost.
"Wait, you guys can see me," I asked.
"They are spirits, Nancy Drew and I can hear you as well."
Chuck's POV:
I was walking, but then I saw an army of ghosts causing trouble. Everyone was getting scared.
Nancy's POV:
My crew was trying to attack Gomber, but he kept taking them down. "Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to watch the show-"
Then Odette, in George's body stabs Gomber, killing him. That's the end of him, but that's not going to stop the situation.
Then something was happening.
"I can feel it! The fear is breaking the gate! Now, I shall be free!" Then there was a freaky form of energy, and something was coming out of it. It looks like a cross between a bat and a dragon. "The world is mine!"
Sabrina's POV:
"That is why I called you here," I said, "we have to defeat Arthrok as the Triangle!"
"I don't know about this," says Betty.
"This sounds like too much to me," says Veronica.
"We have to do this, the world needs us," I said.

In the next chapter, Nancy has to find a way back into the physical world. Sabrina, Betty, and Veronica have to fight Arthrok. Odette makes a sacrifice.
