"The enemy of my enemy is my friend, but the enemy of mine is none."

2213.

In an unprecedented turn of events, Vexus and Smytus became enemies. Smytus was exiled indefinitely to an uninhabited island somewhere far away from Tremorton as his spaceship descends from the stratosphere. Vexus, now the true ruler of Cluster Prime and the rest of the Clusters living in there, decided to remove Smytus' name from the database; his presence became irrelevant to her anymore. This angered Smytus, and, in spite of revenge, began developing a new civilization on the island he is currently at along with his loyal followers. From time to time, he formed a new army consisting of loyalists of Smytus, who are now following his trail of overthrowing Vexus from the reign.

Marking a new nemesis for each other, Smytus' next plan would be requesting additional support from others that might be interested while under exile. One particular person stood up from the rest of the public; Gryphen Newell, chairman and founder of the Gryphic Heavy Industries, one of the largest military industry company and a formidable contractor to the U.S government, headquartered in Seattle. Known for its role in conventional warfare and research on both biotechnology and nanotechnology, Gryphen's company saw a profitable margin during wartime, where his money really flows.

Gryphen and Smytus both agreed to form an alliance in order to overthrow Vexus. Gryphen himself is largely a person of strategy, serving 53 years in the Army as a major general, earning the Medal of Honor. Smytus knows that he is lucky to have a person interested of his goal, and he knows that this alliance will go well for them both.

Not long before being allies, Smytus contacts Gryphen as he is surprisingly at Tremorton. He knew something is up. Gryphen and his accomplices sailed to the island where Smytus is at, just by the offshore. He approaches Gryphen and himself asks Smytus on what might be the problem now.

"I see that you called me in to here, that's interesting. What might be your problem today, friend?", Gryphen asked calmly.

"You see... I need some kind of a... new arsenal of weapons. Your company is ahead of others and it might be the perfect opportunity for you to help me... develop something new! What do you say, hm?", said Smytus nonchalantly, his voice resembles that of a kid in curiosity. Gryphen stays silent for a moment, before speaking back up again.

"Well, you have my word. I know just the type of weapon you need that I could design. It may take some time, but for now, feel free to contact me about the progress," Gryphen answered back, and this quickly excited Smytus with a devilish grin on his face.

"HAHA! Excellent! I knew I could count on you! As always, don't rush on the development! You know I would always take a look of the progress, bet it's going to be something off of this world!", shouted Smytus menacingly.

"Heh, it's going to be exactly like that. Anyway, I have a meeting with my employees but consider the progress ongoing tomorrow. Have a nice day," said Gryphen calmly, before they both shook hands. Then, him and his accomplices sails back from the island to Tremorton. Smytus is excited on what weapon he might about to develop.

Meanwhile, at Cluster Prime, with the irrelevancy of Smytus, Vexus appointed a new second-in-command of Cluster Prime under the name "Cyrus". As the new apprentice to Vexus, Cyrus leads the Clusters independently to cause more chaos in Tremorton. Her tactics, skills, combat, and vigilance, makes her a formidable warlord than Smytus. No matter what orders she receives, she will gladly do it without asking twice. Her intimidation to others also makes Cyrus the most feared Cluster, second close to Vexus.

When hearing about Smytus' new alliance with Gryphen, Vexus is angered. Deciding to ignore his exile and pretend that he is now living freely, Vexus now puts Smytus as a rogue Cluster, waiting for termination. Their only objective now is to eliminate Smytus and Gryphen. Whatever their plans are, both parties could either go on a stalemate, but they'll have to see it for themselves later.
