Chapter 1: Humble Beginnings
[Kristal climbs down from a ladder after replacing the welcome sign of her camp from 'Camp Tipiskaw' to 'Camp Disventure'.]
Kristal: That's better!
Kristal: Did you think the drama was over? This show is back! After the unfortunate events of last season and some lawsuits, we had to change the host, which is me!
[Kristal walks in front of one of the cabins.]
Kristal: And for those of you who don't know how this show works, I'll explain it to you. Fourteen people have been chosen to live at this summer camp for two weeks. Every moment will be recorded by one of the hundreds of cameras we have all over the camp and it will be broadcasted to you every episode.
[Cameras appear in various places, out of a treehole, out of a toilet, and taped on a moose.]
Kristal: They will be divided into two teams of seven and will compete in challenges. Each round, the losing team will have to go to the elimination ceremony, where everyone will vote for the person they want to eliminate. The person who has the most votes will be voted out of the camp and will take the Bus of Losers home.
[She sits on one of the logs in the elimination ceremony.]
Kristal: In the end, only one will remain and will be awarded with one million dollars! My name is Kristal, and this is… Disventure Camp!
[Kristal raises her arms and the camera zooms out to show her surroundings.]
[The intro plays, introducing all fourteen campers that will be participating this season.]
[A bus on the road is shown to be driving towards Camp Disventure. Inside are the fourteen contestants competing in Disventure Camp. The camera focuses on Aiden and Oliver, Oliver is looking out the window, while Aiden is looking at him like he has something to say.]
Aiden: Hey!
Oliver: Oh, hi!
Aiden: Do we know each other? I feel like I've seen you somewhere.
Oliver: Maybe on television. I've been an intern in the last season, I lost my job because, well, the two previous hosts got arrested.
Aiden: Oh, yeah, that's it! I binged all the episodes last night before coming here, I can't believe they would do such a thing!
[The next scene focuses on Kai and Rosa María.]
Kai: Duuude, that necklace is amazing, it's giving off libra vibes…
Rosa María: Wow, how did you know? I'm also a bit obsessed with star signs, hahaha! What sign are you?
Kai: I dunno, brah, it's like I have a sixth sense, I'm think I'm psychic!
[Kai taps his head with a finger on both hands.]
Kai: I'm a taurus by the way…
Rosa María: I knew it! I'm Rosa María, by the way, nice to meet you!
Kai: I'm Kai, I find it calming to share a space with someone who emits such good energy, I can almost feel it in the air.
[Kai began to meditate. However, behind him, Karol looked quite fed up.]
Karol: Speaking of air, why is there no air-conditioning in this low-budget bus?!
[Yul then rolled his eyes.]
Yul: Someone's having a bad time with menopause.
[Karol glares at him.]
[James laughed hysterically and revealed that he was recording everything. Lake, on the other hand, looked very concerned.]
James: HAHAHA! I have to post this online!
Lake: Excuse me, that shouldn't be taken as a joke.
Yul: What's it to you?
[The bus then began to stop. Marcus, the bus driver, began to speak. He was also holding a puppet in a pink dress named Nina.]
Marcus: Okay, listen everyone, Nina here has an important message for all of you.
Nina: Attention campers! The bus broke down so I decided to call the host. She says that you must follow the path along the road while running and the last one to arrive will be eliminated.
[Nina's eyes then turned red, and she had a distorted voice as she spoke.]
Nina: AND YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS THEN…
[The campers all gave worried looks at each other. Nina's voice and eyes returned to normal. She now had a pleasant smile on her face.]
Nina: Good luck!
[Lake went up to Marcus, clearly concerned for his mental health.]
Lake: Sir, have you considered seeing a psychiatrist?
[Everyone started running out of the bus.]
[The scene shifts back to Kristal, who is holding her phone. She attempts to call her dad, whose name is Chris McLean. However, her dad sends her straight to voicemail.]
Kristal: Stupid dad, neglectful once again!
[Kristal sighs to herself, deciding to leave a message.]
Kristal: Hi dad, it's me, Kristal, I know we haven't talked in a while, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm hosting my own show now, and I wanted some tips, but I guess you're too busy or whatever. Why am I even saying this?! It's not like you're going to respond… bye.
[The next scene follows Hunter and Tess as they run.]
Hunter: Hey! Seems that no one wanted to run with us, haha!
Tess: I'm used to it…
Hunter: That's fair, you didn't want to talk to me on the bus, so I guess you're an introvert!
Tess: Uh… yeah…
Hunter: Sorry, am I bothering you?
[Tess's eyes suddenly flooded with panic.]
Tess: NO! STAY! PLEASE!
[Hunter was very startled, he'd never seen Tess like this in the hour that he's known her.]
Tess: I mean- uh- no, you're not! Sorry, I'm not good at talking with people…
[Tess made a sad face.]
Hunter: No, no! It's totally okay! I understand.
Tess: Thanks, but, I don't think you understand.
Hunter (confessional): It was kind of awkward trying to talk to Tess, but, I get she has a hard time trying to socialize. Also, once she opens up, becoming friends and making an alliance with her wouldn't be half bad!
Tess (confessional): Come on! I totally messed things up with Hunter and he's only being polite because he's a nice person. Do I always have to mess everything up?!
[Meanwhile, Kai ran up to Lake.]
Kai: Heeeey…
Lake: Hello!
Kai: Y'know, you seem pretty cool, but, unlike everyone else, your vibrations are kind of…
[Lake looked visibly surprised and embarrassed. However, she quickly covered it up.]
Lake: Kind of…?
Kai: Um, well, turbulent… are you good, man?
Lake: …If you'll excuse me, I have to go, see you later!
[Lake runs off with a nervous face.]
[The next scene shows Oliver running by himself until he trips on a rock and falls. Maggy offers him a hand.]
Oliver: A… GIANT?! AHHHHH!
[Oliver ran away in fear while Maggy sighs in disappointment.]
Maggy (confessional): I knew he wouldn't like me! Nobody wants to be friends with a monster…
[In the distance, Aiden, James, Riya, and Yul were running together.]
Yul: …and that's how I reached 1,000,000 followers with my famous dance! I came up with it myself!
James: Wow! How come I haven't heard of you?
Yul: I'm popular in Korea but not so much on this side of the world. That's why I like to come here, those fans were annoying.
James: I hope I can reach 1,000,000 followers too by documenting my experiences here on TikTok.
Riya: I think I should pay more attention to my social media, maybe that's why I haven't gotten a big role in a movie.
Riya (confessional): Hi, I'm Riya! I've been a Bollywood actress and came to Canada three years ago to continue my career and get better roles, but it's been almost impossible! I hope that being in this reality show gives me fame so someone will finally hire me for something that's not an extra role…
Aiden: You guys are super popular! I'm starting to get annoyed that I only have 200 followers on Instagram haha!
James: Don't worry, I'm going to upload a photo with you right now, I'm sure my followers will love you!
James (confessional): If you didn't know already, I am one of the most popular TikTok influencers. You can find me JamesCD, follow me! I love you all, I will even propose a bet. If I reach 1,000,000 followers before I leave this camp, I will do anything the most liked comment on my post with Aiden says.
[Connor runs up to the previous four people mentioned.]
Connor: Hey guys! I heard you all talking about your social networks, how about following me on MySpace?
James: Sir, no one has used MySpace for, like, twenty years…
Aiden: What's MySpace?
Yul: Old guy, can you go now?
Connor: Oh, uh, sorry…
[Connor stopped running in defeat. Karol runs past him.]
Karol: You should behave like someone your age.
Connor: How do you know my age?
Karol: It's obvious, now run! We're falling behind!
Connor (confessional): It's obvious that those guys weren't ready for me yet, but once I show them how trendy I can be, they'll be all over me!
[We then see Kristal waiting at the finish line.]
Kristal: And the first camper to arrive is…
[Oliver runs over and lands on the orange mat.]
Kristal: Oliver! Congratulations, you'll be on the Orange Team with all the odd number placing contestants.
Oliver: Sweet!
[Kai arrives soon after.]
Kristal: Kai, you'll be on the Green Team with all of the even number placing contestants.
Kai: Sick…
Kristal: Lake, Orange Team. Ally, Green Team. Maggy, Orange. Hunter, Green. Rosa María, Orange. Tess, Green. Aiden, Orange. Yul, Green. James, Orange. Riya, Green.
Kristal: We have our last two!
[Connor and Karol started running with all their remaining strength, determined not to be eliminated right away. Unfortunately for Connor, Karol finished before him.]
Kristal: Karol, you are on the Orange Team, and Connor, you are on the Green Team.
Connor: Wait, I'm not out?
Kristal: What? Who told you that?
Connor: The bus driver's creepy puppet!
Kristal: Oh yeah, that. We just told you that so you all could get here faster.
Yul: Whaaat?! So we all just ran for nothing?!
Kristal: Uh, yeah.
Yul: Ugh! You'll pay for this, host lady!
Kristal: My names actually Kristal…
Aiden: Oh, yeah, Kristal! Your father is-
Kristal: NOBODY CARES WHO MY FATHER IS! I am Kristal and I will be the host of the show! So let's get this started…
[Kristal angrily walked back to stand in the center of the two teams.]
Kristal: We now have our two teams. To my right is the Orange Team who will be known as the Radioactive Sharks, and to my left is the Green Team who will be known as the Angry Condors!
Rosa María: Great! I love sharks-
Kristal: Okay, who came up with these names? We're not using them…
[Rosa María then made a dissapointed face.]
Kristal: Orange Team, take the path to your right, Green Team, go left. There you will find your cabins and drop our stuff off.
Ally: But we don't have our stuff!
Kristal: Oh right, I'll have Marcus drop it off when he arrives.
[The bus shows up as soon as Kristal said that.]
Nina: We're already here, morons!
[Nina throws everyone's bags on Ally. Hunter runs over to fetch her out of the pile.]
Hunter: Ally, is it? Are you okay?
Ally: Yeah, never better…
[Ally blushes at Hunter.]
Kristal: Okay… well, today is your first day, so you won't be having a challenge. I'll see you all tomorrow morning for your first challenge!
Ally (confessional): I'm so excited to be here! This last year has been a bit hard for me due to some personal situations… and I think this will help me distract myself a bit!
[The Green Team began walking towards their cabin.]
Riya: Hey, um, Yul? I wanna know a bit more about you. You're very young and you've already achieved so many of your goals, how did you do it?
Yul: When I was 15, I participated in a dance contest. Back then I didn't want to, my parents forced me, but of course I did exceptionally well. Someone from the audience recorded it, the video went viral, and I received so many calls to join their K-pop groups or whatever. I picked the one I liked most, and I became famous!
Riya: Wow, hasn't fame weighed you down?
Yul: Sometimes, a little. But I love the benefits it brings! I can't complain about having my own slaves- UH, I mean, servants!
Kai: Bro, it's not cool to call someone who has a name, a servant…
Yul: Well, that's what they are…
Riya: If you have money, what are you doing here?
Yul: My manager thinks participating in a reality show and being seen hanging out with average people can help improve my public image. A few weeks ago, I "accidentally" pushed this old lady down the escalator in a shopping mall. It got caught on camera, and I lost a bit of my fans.
Riya: "Accidentally?"
Kai: You know, an old Chinese proverb says "the fox never-"
Yul: Not interested, sorry!
Kai (confessional): Did he reject the wisdom of the monks of the Tang dynasty? That's crazy, no way dawg!
[The members of the Green Team arrive at their cabins.]
Ally: Yes! We're here!
[Ally attempts to go up the stairs, but can't carry her bags up.]
Connor: Let me help you with that!
[Connor grabs one of Ally's bags.]
Ally: Thanks!
[Ally dumps out her bag, revealing that it was filled with hundreds of Nintendo Switches. Connor looks flabbergasted.]
Connor: …why do you have so many?
Ally: In case one of them breaks, I always have another!
Connor: Is the bag I'm holding filled with them too-
[The bag Connor is holding collapses, hundreds of more Nintendo Switches fall on the floor, many of them break.]
Ally: …yeah, that's why!
[We shift over to see how the Orange Team is doing. Aiden and James seem to be relaxing in the boys' side of the cabin.]
James: So as a fan of this show, do you know the social media accounts of participants from previous seasons?
Aiden: I follow a few of them, some of them don't have social media in the first place though. My favorite character though, would definitely be Tom. He saved Miriam's money in the end and I think that's really admirable. Not to mention he looked super cool doing it!
James: I hope this season we are the most popular, haha!
[James puts his arm around Aiden. Aiden looks slightly startled at first.]
Aiden: Anyway, I don't really care about that…
[James quickly removes his arms around Aiden and strikes a more passive pose.]
James: I know, who cares, right?
[Aiden is about to comment on James's switch up but is soon interrupted by Karol complaining next door.]
Karol: This place is unbelievably horrible! These sheets look like they haven't been washed in months!
[Oliver pops in despite being in the boys' cabin a couple moments earlier.]
Oliver: That's because they haven't been washed in months.
Karol: WHAT HAPPENED TO PRIVACY FOR LADIES?! GET OUT OF HERE STUPID BOY!
[After Karol scared Oliver away, she began to exit the cabins and walk back to where she last saw Kristal.]
Karol: Who is in charge of this camp?! Some urgent changes are needed!
[The other three Orange Team girls had an awkward silence processing Karol's complaining session before being startled by Kristal's voice on the loudspeaker.]
Kristal: Attention campers! It's time for dinner, which will be prepared by our chef Marcus and his puppet Nina! Please make your way to the dining room, or not… I don't really care if you eat or don't.
Rosa María: Hey Lake, do you want to go to the dining room now? I'd rather eat now before it gets dark.
Lake: Okay, sounds good!
[As Lake and Rosa María exit the cabins, Maggy looks at them and sighs.]
Maggy (confessional): I don't know why I thought I could actually make friends here. In the end, it's the same as the outside world… I scare away most people, and the others couldn't care less about me…
[We then see Lake and Rosa María inside the dining room.]
Rosa María: Hey, what's for dinner today?
Nina: I made pumpkin bread, I hope you'll enjoy it because it could be YOUR… LAST…
[Nina's eyes turn red again, scaring Lake but not Rosa María because she thinks Marcus is controlling Nina.]
Rosa María: Hahahahahahaha! You're so funny, sir!
Marcus: What are you talking about?
[Rosa María and Lake each take a slice of bread and sit down.]
Rosa María: Well, tell me a little bit about yourself. Where are you from?
Lake: To start, I'm from Germany, I'm sixteen years old, and the youngest of all my siblings. I could say that I come from a somewhat talented family. My mother is a well-known violinist and my father is a respected nuclear chemist. As for my siblings, I have four older brothers. My oldest brother has graduated college and is a lawyer, the second oldest is studying calculus in college, and the youngest two are also in the same college wanting to take after our father.
Rosa María: Wow, with such an amazing family, you must be just as amazing!
Lake: Heh… I'm not that amazing… sometimes I write, but it's just a hobby. My parents say that my obligation is to study and to get perfect scores to maintain my family's reputation. My parents were so kind to let me join this show because I wanted to have a new experience before they send me to boarding school next year.
[Rosa looked a bit taken aback, she did not expect Lake's parents to be so demanding. However, she didn't want to come off as disrespectful.]
Rosa María: Damn, your parents don't seem to be fans of fun stuff. If you ever need my support, just find me and I'll be there for you!
Lake: Thank you! Do you want half of this bread? If I ate it all, it would exceed my daily calorie count.
[Lake gave Rosa a huge chunk of her bread, despite claiming that it was only half, leaving only a sliver for herself. Rosa's face soon turned from content to worried]
Rosa María (confessional): That definitely wasn't half of her bread, but I'm not going to make Lake uncomfortable. There's something strange about her… I'll try to be there for her and find out what's happening…
[The sun then set outside, then came back out meaning it was the next morning. The campers were all seen standing on mats based on their team color, with Kristal standing in front of them.]
Kristal: Good morning everyone! Ready for your first challenge?
Karol: Good morning?! We all barely got any sleep! This place sucks! Who is your manager?! I need to talk to them right now!
Kristal: I can manage myself thank you very much! You are competing for 1000000 dollars! So, you have two options, accept everything as it is, or leave this camp right now!
Karol: Whatever, freak!
Kristal: Now, your challenge will be-
Yul: WAIT! I have a question.
Kristal: What now?!
Yul: The other team has an advantage!
Kristal: Advantage in what?
Yul: Hello?! They have an ogre! Obviously they're going to win all the strength challenges!
[James laughed at this as he found Yul's offensive comments to be very funny. Maggy on the other hand, looked down as her spirits worsened even more. A small tear falling down her cheek. Kai observed this and wanted to stick up for her.]
Kai: By hurting one person's spirit, you will hurt your own spirit within…
Yul: Shut up, druggie!
Kristal: That's it! No more interruptions! Today's challenge is a relay race! Here's how it works.
[The camera panned to the lake, where two flags, one green and one orange were seen, followed by two boats of the two previously mentioned colors.]
Kristal: Each team has a flag of their color here on the beach! Three members of your choosing must take the flag and get on the boat! The first stage of the challenge is to drive the boat across the lake where the next two members of your team will be waiting on a motorcycle.
[The camera shown two motorcycles. Again, the color of the teams.]
Kristal: The second stage is a motorcycle race, where you have to race one third into the woods, another member from your team will be waiting for you then.
[In the forest, two bicycles were set against a tree.]
Kristal: The third stage requires two campers to race each other to the fourth and final stage, running!
[The camera moved to show the edge of the forest.]
Kristal: The final two campers will face off in a simple running race! The first team to finish will win immunity! Decide what parts you will be doing!
Lake: I know how to drive a boat! I volunteer for the first stage, if that's okay with you all.
Rosa María: Sure! I'll go with you.
[Maggy looked at the two, wiping another tear from her face, she made a determined face.]
Maggy (confessional): I know what Yul said was true, but if I want something, I have to work to get it! So, here goes nothing…
Maggy: C-can I come with y-you guys too…?
Rosa María: Of course! You are always welcome!
[Maggy's face flooded with joy.]
Maggy: R-really?
Lake: Yes! Don't worry!
[Some time passed discussing who would go where, in the end, Kristal recapped for the audience.]
Kristal: In the first stage, A.K.A. the boats, Lake, Rosa María, and Maggy will be facing off against Hunter, Tess, and Yul. They will race their boats to James and Aiden, and Connor and Kai. Karol and Ally will be racing on the bikes, and to finish, it will be Riya vs. Oliver! This challenge starts… now!
[Everyone began running to their places. Maggy ran faster than anybody and grabbed her team's flag quickly. However, Hunter wasn't far behind and grabbed his too. Everyone got in their boats.]
Hunter: Uhh, how do you drive this?
Yul: Quit wasting time! Just press a stupid button!
[Yul presses one of the buttons, which accelerated the boat.]
Yul: See? Sometimes you shouldn't think! Gets you nowhere…
Hunter: Um, I'm pretty sure the opposite is true…
[We shifted to the Orange Team.]
Rosa María: Hey, Lake, how come you know how to drive this thing?
Lake: I saw my brother do it once, and he explained it to me. However, my dad interrupted us and said we had to study, so I only know a little.
Rosa María: Oh… that's…
[Rosa María quickly looked to change the subject, unsure of what to think.]
Rosa María: Hey, Maggy! How did you run so fast in the challenge? You got the flag almost immediately?
Maggy: Huh? Me?
Rosa María: Yes, silly!
Maggy: I guess running became one of my hobbies after I figured that making friends was hopeless…
[Rosa María then noticed Maggy looking shyly at the ground.]
Rosa María: That's not true. Don't listen to that guy who treated you badly. We are you friends, right Lake?
Lake: Of course!
[Rosa María put an assuring hand on Maggy's shoulder.]
Rosa María: We have your back, I won't ever let that guy say something to you again.
Maggy: You are very kind… really!
Rosa María (confessional): I feel so sorry for both of them because I see myself in them! I didn't have many friends growing up, so I changed myself for popularity. My parents also kicked me out once I… nevermind.
[We shift back to the Green Team.]
Yul: I'm better at this than I thought! Well, I'm always good at things, so that isn't a shock.
[Hunter noticed Tess gazing into the lake.]
Hunter: What's so interesting about the lake? You're so mysterious, ha!
[Hunter playfully punched Tess to get her to lighten up, but unfortunately for him, she didn't change her expression in any way.]
Tess: It's just, the lake looks so hypnotizing, so clear and filled with life, y'know? I could definitely sketch it in my art book, you could come too, I guess…
Hunter: Really?! Awesome!
Yul: Guysss…
[Hunter and Tess turned to Yul.]
Yul: Taking advantage of the fact that the others aren't here, I wanted to propose something to you.
Hunter: Go on…
Yul: I've noticed that you guys have become a bit close. If I join you and we all vote together, we only need one more person and we could vote out whoever we want! This guarantees all of us to make the merge! You guys in?
Hunter: Sounds good! I'm in!
Tess: Uh… okay…
Hunter (confessional): If I see an opportunity to get further in the game, I will definitely take it!
Tess (confessional): I definitely didn't plan on making an alliance this early, or, ever. But, I suppose I do need it to survive…
[The camera turns to the Orange Team. Rosa María was telling a joke and Lake and Maggy were laughing.]
Rosa María: …and then he was like, 'Give me your money!' and I just burst out laughing because he was so pathetic! He didn't even have a gun! My daughter didn't even get scared and she was two at the time!
[Lake and Maggy started laughing hysterically until Lake realized something that Rosa said.]
Lake: Daughter? You look very young!
Rosa María: Thanks, haha! I guess you weren't expecting that. I had my daughter three years ago when I was sixteen.
Maggy: Oh, and how did your parents take that?
Rosa María: To be honest, it wasn't the best… they kicked me out and refused to give me support. But everything changed once Sofia came into my life.
Lake: I hope we can meet her once this is over!
[Lake saw James and Aiden in the distance.]
Lake: There they are!
Maggy: Can I throw it at them? I think it'll be faster…
Lake: Sure! You are strong so I'm sure the flag will make it.
[Maggy threw the flag with an incredible distance. Lake and Rosa María were very impressed. Aiden caught the flag and was flabbergasted as well. However, James didn't pay attention as he was too busy on his phone.]
Aiden: I got it!
James: Come on! I'll drive!
[James got on first with Aiden sitting behind him.]
James: Hold on tight, because I'm going to go really fast!
Aiden: WHAT?! James, don't- AHHHHHH!
[Before Aiden could finish his sentence, James started the motorcycle engine. Aiden clung to him as tight as possible.]
[Meanwhile, the Green Team only just landed and Hunter gave the flag to Kai.]
Kai: Nice dude…
[Connor started the engine and took off.]
Connor: So… Kai, do you have any social media?
Kai: Nah bro, I prefer to stay in touch with nature than with what's going on in the outside world… it's like I'm a vegan, only no phones instead of meat…
Connor: Okay… but, you have to have a phone at least! You're young! I mean- I'm young too, just not as young as you, but I-
Kai: Shhhh… no need to panic… the universe tells me that one day, you will find peace within…
Connor: What? I have peace within…
[The camera shows Aiden clinging tightly to James while James seems to be having a blast.]
James: Aiden, can you do me a favor? Can you take my phone out of my pocket and record a story?
Aiden: Are you serious? We're in the middle of a challenge!
James: But how am I supposed to tell my followers what I'm doing?
[James made a sad face, which caused Aiden to reluctantly comply out of pity.]
Aiden: Okay… fine…
[Soon the two pairs reached Karol and Ally.]
Aiden: Here you go Karol!
[Aiden gave the flag to Karol.]
Karol: Ew, this flag is dirty! What did you do with it?!
Aiden: We didn't do anything! That's how it was like when we found it!
Karol: As soon as I win the million I am giving this camp the renovation is deserves!
[Karol biked away with the flag.]
Connor: Take it, Ally!
[Ally took the flag.]
Ally: Thanks!
[Ally attempted to ride the bike, but to no avail. Karol saw her and laughed.]
Karol; What's this, my opponent doesn't know how to ride a bike? Pathetic!
Ally: Hey! I never learned because I was playing Super Smash Bros, which is a much more interesting activity!
Karol: I didn't ask… bye loser!
[Karol continued petaling ahead of Ally, so Ally's only choice was to run while holding the bike.]
Ally: Here goes nothing…
[Karol reached Oliver, who ran off with the flag. Meanwhile, Riya looked very nervous as Ally still wasn't there.]
[Fortunately, she later saw Ally arriving in the distance.]
Riya: Wha- why are you carrying the bike like that?
Ally: Sorry, heh, I guess I never learned how to ride one…?
[Ally rubbed her head nervously.]
Riya: …okay then?
[Riya began running, as she was already very far behind.]
Oliver (confessional): I will make my team victorious! After years of failures and low-paying jobs, I will finally do something that will be remembered!
Riya (confessional): No no no! I chose to go last because I wanted to do something that would be remembered… this can't be how I go out! I need to play to my strengths…
[Riya gasps.]
Riya (confessional): That's it!
[Oliver was running, about to cross the finish line, until he heard a scream from Riya.]
Oliver: Huh?
[Oliver turns around to see Riya on the ground holding her leg. Oliver ran over to her.]
Oliver: Oh no! What's wrong?
Riya: I… really hurt my leg… could you help me up?
Oliver: Uh, of course! Are you sure you don't need a-
[Riya seized the opportunity and ran past Oliver.]
Riya: Sorry!
[Riya ended up crossing the finish line first and winning it for her team.]
Riya: Yes! We won!
[Oliver made a shocked face, disappointed that he lost.]
Kristal: Riya reached the finish line first, the Green Team has won the challenge and they are safe from elimination tonight!
[All members of the Green Team cheered while Karol crossed her arms.]
Karol: WHAT?! We were so ahead!
Kristal: Orange Team, I'll see you all tonight where you have to eliminate a camper from your team!
[It soon became the late afternoon, Riya was sitting on the picnic table in front of her cabin when Connor came up to her.]
Connor: That was amazing how you tricked Oliver into giving up the challenge for you! Where'd you learn that?
Riya: Thanks! I was a replacement for the main character in a movie once, and she was supposed to get shot. I practiced that scene over and over, but it was all for nothing as I never appeared in it, so I figured I could use it here.
Connor: Wow, what movie?
Riya: Black Widow's Gambit…
Connor: What?! You could've been in that?!
Riya: Yeah, I was happy I got the role but sad I couldn't be in the actual show…
Connor: Hey, that's not so bad. At least you put it to use here!
Riya: Yeah… thanks!
[The camera switched to the Orange Team, where Aiden and James were sitting on their team's picnic table.]
James: So, who are you voting?
Aiden: Uh, I don't know yet. I know Oliver cost us the challenge but anyone would've fell for that! Plus, he was really friendly to me on the bus. Can we vote someone who's unfriendly and useless?
James: Unfriendly and useless? I have just the person in mind…
[The sun later set and it became night. The Orange Team was gathered at the campfire with Kristal on a podium ready to tell the campers how the voting works.]
Kristal: Orange Team, you had the afternoon to decide who to eliminate. Simply vote for the camper you want to be eliminated from the competition by writing it down on a piece of paper over there. Then, deposit it in the ballet box and walk back here. Everyone ready? Get voting!
[We see a montage of everyone voting. Most people seem confident in their choice except Aiden, who looks worried.]
Kristal: I've received the votes in this very ballot box. I will now pull out the votes, one by one…
[All of the contestants look terrified.]
Kristal: First vote… Oliver.
Kristal: Second vote… Oliver.
[Oliver starts to panic.]
Kristal: Third vote… Karol.
[Karol looks angry and confused, wondering who could've voted for her.]
Kristal: Fourth vote… Karol.
Kristal: That's two votes Karol, two votes Oliver.
Karol: Who the hell voted for me?!
[Aiden and James awkwardly look away from Karol.]
Kristal: Fifth vote… Karol. Two votes left.
Kristal: Sixth vote… Oliver. There's only one more vote.
[Oliver makes a terrified face, while Karol glares at the rest of her team.]
Kristal: First person voted out of Disventure Camp…

Kristal: …Oliver! It's time for you to go.
Oliver: NOOOOO! Please don't! This was my only chance to achieve something! To be someone in life! Day after day of yelling and abuse, no chance to take a break and only one meal a day. A low salary and multiple injuries trying out crazy challenges night after night… and now that I could finally change things, I am first eliminated! What will I do? I have no money and nowhere to go…
[Kristal thought about it for a moment, she remembered her plan.]
Kristal: Think about what my father would do and then do the opposite…
Kristal: Okay, okay, calm down, Oliver. If you want, you can stay as an intern, it's a new production so I guarantee it will be different.
[Oliver ran up to Kristal and hugged her.]
Oliver: YAY! Thank you very much Ms. McLean! I will not disappoint you!
[Kristal pushed Oliver away.]
Kristal: Let go of me before I regret it! The others can return to their cabins.
[The Orange Team soon left to go to their cabins, and Kristal signed off the show.]
