Chapter one: The green arrow.
On a cloudless night the moon glowed over an old woman walking down the streets of Star city. A city that one would have thought to be the city of dreams where the common man can make a home and settle down and have all his dreams come true sadly nothing is ever a paradise.
passing over a puddle and startling alley-cats which hissed and ran across the road. Aside from the felines All was quiet. Only for it to be a farce as a man in a skee mask ran past her snagging her purse.
"My purse! Somebody help!" She cried as the mugger got away far too fast for her to catch up with. the mugger ran by multiple skyscrapers and buildings, lost gone was the old lady. "What a steal! haha!"
He laughed as he ran into an alley and couched down to open the spoils of his hard earned robbery. suddenly a arrow flew past his face leaving a scratch on his cheek as blood trickled down.
Quickly grabbing his gun he kept on his side just in case some punk got brave, he aimed it at wherever said arrow was launched from
on top of a building dress in a bright green outfit, fitted with a green chest-guard and a lighter green around the abs and a G shaped in the shape of a arrowhead on the waist, his arms were sleeveless aside from the and dark green legging which lead to leg guards that were also the color of bright green with colorless metal armor covering the front of them, his face hidden by a green hood and a green mask which only covered his eyes. wielding a green recurve bow, on his back was a quiver with green arrows, was a man but not just any man. But the emerald archer: Green Arrow!
He called out to the mugger who looked startled by this sight as he knew heard rumors around town. "I've seen alot of punks like you steal pettier things. But an old lady is a low blow. If you really wanted some hard caramel candies there's a candy store down adams heights which sells them in a box for twenty-five cents a pop, whaddya say?"
The man said with a cocky smile, the moonlight revealing his blond goatee as he drew another arrow from his quiver and before the mugger could react fired it hitting his sleeve narrowing missing his skin and pinning him against the concrete.
The mugger panicked and ripped his sleeve off the pinned arrow and was about to turn tail and fire his handgun when he heard another twang from the green hooded man's bow. "hope you have dental insurance!"
Was what the mugger hear as he felt the force of the Green Arrow's foot force crossed his face as the green cladded archer had shot a rope arrow down between the mugger's feet and zip-lined down to deliver a hefty kick to the jaw knocking him out.
The old woman walked home frightened by the events that had transpired, she was shocked to find a certain green clad archer standing in her way under a street light holding her purse.
"Thank you! Thank you!" she yelled as she took her purse from his hand. "no worries, you stay safe now ya hear." Green Arrow said as he fired a grappling arrow and zipped up the building leaving the old woman dazzled.
Now running across the roofs of star city Green Arrow kept a keen eye for troublemakers which thankfully there was none at the second allowing him to catch his breath and look at the city from higher ground. "Hmm thank god
it's a slow night." he sighed as he leaned on his bow.
Then he spotted a group of kids going into a alley each one having a blank look as they moved in sync.
"huh" Green Arrow said as he shot the ledge with a rope arrow and rappelled down following the group he saw enter the alley ahead.
Following them he saw them staring at a wall. "uh are you guys alright?" said a confused Green Arrow who came closer only to the wall ripple like water and flashed a bright light making Green Arrow put his hands over his mask to shield his eyes.
When the light was gone Green Arrow found himeself and the group in a whole new place. Gone was the building and dark alley and replaced by a willy wonkas wonderland candy and sweets filled the land the ground looked if was made of ice cream, confused he didn't notice the kids moving off without him.
"Hey!" he shouted out to the kids who didn't seem confused or scared but as if following a signal. "goddamnit." he cursed as he ran over to follow them wondering how they were gonna get outta there.
"What the hell is this place." Green Arrow thought aloud as he followed the group hoping to find whoever, or whatever was causing this or if it transported them to some other universe.
Already having a arrow knocked he looked around not seeing the sound of life yet. As they drew deeper the terrain slowly became that of a hospital, only more screwed up finally reaching a exit into a more open area.
The group stopped confusing Green Arrow as he just saw a doll on a very high chair along with a table as one would a think of a little girl playing teaparty with her dolls.
Hearing shuffling behind him Green Arrow acting on instincts drew back his bow at the noise who was a girl about fourteen he thinks, she had a Japanese school outfit on, blue hair and looking at him bug eyed hiding behind a giant donut.
seeing it was only a teen he relaxed the bow "Are you ok?" he asked in concern which she respond with a nod.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?" The girl asked him.
She said in japanese to Green Arrow spoke back in the same.
"I'm not sure but how di-"
he was interrupted as child sized ladybug dog looking creatures surrounded them.
"uh we'll talk later." Green Arrow said drawing back his bow and landing an arrow to the head of one of the creatures killing it making the girl with blue hair gasp as he landed in the area surrounded by them. knocking another arrow he took a breath calming his nerves he was a superhero he faced things alot worse then this, he could only hope he didn't run out of arrows.
