"You two imbeciles just made sure that those heroes retrieve all the Dragon Runes. I give you a second chance on destroying those pathetic do-gooders, and you are still losers!"

Ripto stop from pacing and ranting at his allies on their failed mission. Performing breathing techniques, his temper lower down. Clearing his throat, he continued.

"I've come so far and I will not let those heroes mess with my victory! Go to these locations and the Hero should show up. Weaken them and bring me the Dragon Runes. If not, you'll be dead either by him or me."

As he tries to continue, the night sky explodes with different colors with people screaming. It put a smile on his face.

"With the death of the Hero, this world will bow to their new King."

Dodger: Certified Hero

Season 1 Finale

The Gauntlet

A soft knock at the door woke the person in the bed. Opening the door was Babs in her pajamas walking towards the bed. "Dodger? Are you awake in there?"

"Yea" he said in a moody tone.

"Dodger..." The Older Sister said, letting out a sigh. "Listen, you've been cooped up in this room, being moopy because what happened. It's New Years. I'm tired of seeing my Official Unofficial Brother sad."

Dodger pulled off the comforter and cover off his head, revealing himself. His eyes had bags around them and red from crying.

"Sorry, Barbara. I'm just haven't been in the right frame of mind. There is nothing like 75 lives that can't celebrate 2024 because of me. Let me put a smile on my face and forget I failed innocent people days ago."

"Dodger, I'm not telling you to forget them. But blaming yourself and being depressed isn't helping."

The Hero fell back down on the bed. After the events that developed on Christmas Eve on the Techno Train, Dodger wasn't okay. He fought back to see his family and hide his feelings.

Then, he saw the news on TV. 75 people who were infected by Brio's virus lost their lives. Seeing the families involved, crying and he remembering that he was shot off the train for his plan to flourish.

"All this power and for what...to fail. Some hero I am."

Babs sat down on the bed next to her brother, looking at him.

"Dodger, I hate to tell you this. But heroes fail. They can't save everyone. They do the best you can. The real failure is quitting when people need them the most. You told me about the Dragon Worlds. Are you gonna give up on them?"

"N-No."

"Exactly. Y-"

"I'm gonna return the powers to the Dragons. I'm not the right person to defend the world."

"Dodge...UGH!" Barbara growled, getting up and walk to the door. "Biscuit and I are going to make pancakes for breakfast. We would love to see you help us."

Hearing the door close, the Unofficial Brother let out a sigh. "You just don't know..."

After washing up, brushing teeth, and putting on clothes, Dodger walked downstairs to the living room where DeeJay was putting together the telescope he received from him for Christmas.

"Morning Dodger."

"Morning DJ. You haven't set it up yet?"

"Nah. I wanted to wait for the perfect time and tonight, I'll be able to see my first planet" DJ smiled.

Dodger smiled back. "That's amazing, Dee. I knew you'll love it."

The Unofficial Brother made his way to the kitchen where the smell of pancakes cause his stomach to growl as he hasn't eaten for days and made his parents worry.

"Dodgy!" Biscuit said, cover in powder or flour from the pancake mix.

"Biscuit. Looks like you don't need my help except for clean-up."

"We have our own chef here. Look at her creations" Barbara showed off the pancakes his Unofficial Sister made. "Those bunnies are cute."

Taking one of the pancakes that was shaped like a bunny head, Dodger ate it and fell in love. "Keep this up and Dad gonna hire you as a chef. That means you'll have to give up on your dream on being Bisquick, the fastest girl in the world."

"I can do both" She pouted.

"I know you can. But cooking means you can't rush greatness."

Dodger and his sisters made plates of food, bringing it into the dining room. Getting together, the siblings sat together.

Before Dodger could take a bite of a piece of bacon, his phone rang. Looking at his phone, it was Lori Loud. Thinking on how she had his number, he remembers from the Halloween fiasco.

"Hi Lori. I'm not takin-"

"THEY'RE BACK! THEY'RE BACK!" She screamed out on the phone, making him wince.

"Who's back?" Dodger asking, wondering on who is back that's causing a panic.

"Those cows..."

'Why now?' He thought, running upstairs to his room. 'Of course, trouble arrives and I'm dealing with a crisis.'

"Dodger?" Lori called out.

"Y-Yeah? Um, when did they arrive?"

"I'm not sure. But they're looking for you and threatened to destroy Royal Woods. There are UFOs destroying buildings and people in danger. The military is coming. But, the town will be in ruin by then."

Dodger gritted his teeth as his mind was telling him to go and save the town. But he kept on reminding himself about his failure on the train.

"Dodger..." He turns to see Babs in the room.

"I-I don't know what to do?" He told her, trying to think of a solution.

His head was held by his sister, who looked at him in his eyes. "Dodger, people are gonna die if you don't go. Heroes fail. But they don't give up. They get back up and fight the good fight. To make sure nobody goes through the pain of loss like the infected people."

Looking into his eyes, she saw them change into blue. Since the drive home from the train, it was the first time her brother gave a genuine smile.

"Go kick some ass."

"Hell yeah!" He said, speeding off out of his room and out of the house.

Barbara returned downstairs to her siblings. DeeJay had a worry look on his face. "Is Dodger okay?"

"Yeah. He's just taking care of business."

"He didn't ea-"

The Smart Sibling slowly dropped his jaw when he saw that Dodger's plate of food was gone. "N-Nevermind..."

Royal Woods, Michigan

The snowy city was swarmed with Space Cows walking in the streets and UFOs flying above the buildings. The citizens coward in their homes, keeping their families safe.

Out in the street, Commander Halx snarls at the absence of the Hero. He expected him to show once notified about their return to the planet since the last battle when trying to retrieve the Electric Dragon Rune.

"I do not take kindly of this tardiness. Aerial Team, begin your assault on this human place."

The UFOs did as they were ordered and started shooting the buildings of the city. It brought a smile on The Commander's face as destruction around the world he was brought to was beautiful.

That smile began to go away when the sunlight was slowly going away. The clouds brought a large shadow over Royal Woods and started to bring fear.

"What is this?" Halx asked.

The UFOs flew around till a bolt of lightning struck one of them, disabling it as it fell to the street, exploding. One by one, two by one, the casualties were starting to increase and the Commander knew who was responsible.

"About time. Ready my suit."

As the UFOs were being shot down, the ground forces were disappearing in a blink of an eye. All were left were shields and laser blasters on the street.

At Flip's and Fuel, the people inside were lined up as two Space Cows held them up at gunpoint.

"Remember...no humans."

As they went to fire, electricity from the lights above them shocked them till they collapsed on the floor.

Falling on the floor next to the dead bolvines was Dodger in his Electric suit. "Please don't be scared. I'm on your side. Anybody hurt?"

The people shook their heads. The sounds of gunfire caught the Hero's attention as he ran to the far side window.

The cops were shooting at one the cow that was taller than the usual. He turned to the citizens. "Get out of here and the city."

"Come on everyone" Mr. Flip called out. "Follow me to the back way."

As they exit, Dodger use his speed to reach the line of cops. "Sorry, but I need your help evacuating the city."

"Who the hell are you?" One of the cops asked harshly.

Dodger turned his attention to five UFOs that were heading towards them. His eyes glowed and lightening bolts hit them before they could use their weapons. He looked back at the officer who asked the question.

"I'm the one who is trying to save you and this town from destruction. You have a problem with that?"

"Um, n-no, sir."

"Thank you for your cooperation. I'll deal with the outer space farm animals. Help the people out of the city."

The cops went on with the order as Dodger stared at the tall humanoid machine that was looking at him. It had horns on its head with red, gold and black armor and an emerald gem on its waist.

"Where's your Commander?" Dodger asked.

The helmet opened up and revealed the face of Halx, who had burnt marks from their last battle at Liam's Farm. "Surprise to see me again, Hero?"

Dodger nods his head. "You came back. You spit in MY FACE when I showed you mercy."

"Now look at you. This is what mercy brings you. You like my new suit. It's shockproof and fireproof."

'That isn't good. My two heavy hitters won't make a dent. Here's hoping my punches do.'

Dodger charged at Commander Halx, throwing punches at his chest. It wasn't doing a thing to the opposition. The Commander grabs the Hero's arm and proceeds to punch in his face multiple times, followed by swinging him on the road.

Flying in the air, Halx dropped him and fired the emerald gem, sending his opponent down hard.

Laying in a crater, Dodger groans as he goes to get up. The Commander of the Farmland Empire lands and grabs him by the head. "I'm disappointed. All that talk and this is our fight. What do you humans coin the phase? Oh, all talk and no bite."

"Get out of the suit and fight me" Dodger said, hurting with every breath.

"And make it easy for you to win? No."

The Loud Family, along with other families in the town, watched the chaos unfold between The Commander and Dodger, with the latter being tossed around like a ragdoll.

Mr. And Mrs. Loud got their kids to pack their bags. As the family heads out to Vanzilla, an object hit it, turning it sideways.

Laying on it was Dodger.

"Dodger!" Lincoln, Lori and Luna yelled, watching him fall off the turned vehicle.

"You know him?" Mr. Loud asked.

"He saved my life from those things" the Oldest Sibling answered, running over to the fallen hero. "Dodger, you okay?"

He let out a laugh like he was Courage the Cowardly Dog before dropping his head on the snow. Sitting up, he looked at Lori before looking back at his hands. "It's shockproof. It's fireproof. Physical attacks barely make a dent to it. I...I don't know what to do."

Staring at his hands, Dodger noticed one thing. One thing that he completely missed out. It made him slap himself on the forehead. "I'm sooooo thick! I completely forgot."

Lori, along with her family, gathered around him, but he waved them off. Barely standing up, the Hero took off the front hood of Vanzilla. He grabbed the battery and absorbed the power.

"Oh baby, I'm juiced up" said Dodger, glowing blue again before returning to his normal clothes, shivering. "I know it's cold. But, it's like..."

"DODGER, CLOTHES!"

The burning of his face was the only warmth the Hero received as he transformed into his ice form. "The only downside to my powers. Sorry about that."

"Where's the alien?" Lincoln asked Dodger.

He shrugs his shoulders. "But I got a plan."

Commander Halx finally made his way to Dodger, who was laid out on the ground. He couldn't help but revel in the moment. It was exactly how he planned it since the last battle.

"This is magnificent. The savior of this planet fallen to me. " He spoke to the unconscious hero. "Mum, the Hero has fallen. Bring the fleet for the ta-"

The Cow stop talking into his communicator when he notices he can see his breath and feel a cold air in the inside of his suit.

Halx went to move his suit, but it wouldn't budge. "Ehat is this madness."

"Hey buddy."

Looking at his screen, he groans when he sees Dodger, who is smiling and alive. The Commander tried everything to move, but nothing worked.

"I gotta say. You picked a good day to invade. I don't know if I could be the hero the planet needs. I'm still thinking about it. What I do know is that mercy isn't on the table this time for you. I know where to take you."

Grabbing the frozen Farmland Empire suit, Dodger flew in the sky. After a few minutes, he was above a frozen Lake Michigan.

"You have a few options; you can let the water melt the ice when it gets warm. But you'll be at the bottom of the lake. Or you somehow escape your armor. I don't believe cows can swim. Especially in deep, shallow water."

Using his powers, Dodger opened a hole to the frozen lake. Commander Halx went to push himself out of the suit, but nothing worked as he was lifted.

"I will kill you! I name you the true enemy of The Farmland Empire! Do yo-"

Dodger threw the armored cow down the hole. After waiting 5 minutes to make sure his enemy was at the bottom, he closed the hole.

Making his way back to Royal Woods, people were being helped by medical officials, National Guard, and police officers. Doing a lap over the city to make sure people were being helped or were safe, he returned to The Loud Family.

"I'm sorry about your van. I can fix it right quick" he told the mother and father.

"Don't worry about it. We are covered" Mr. Loud told him, chuckling.

Dodger raised an eyebrow. "What insurance have alien invaders? I migh-"

"Dodger!" Luna ran out the house door yelled out.

The Louds and the Hero ran in the house. The kids were grouped up on the couch, watching the television.

It showed a monster flying over the Mall of America with police and military firing at it.

"Ain't no rest for the weary. Loud Family, take care."

Dodger ran out of the house with his electric suit on, flying off to Minneapolis.

"Lori, dear?" The Oldest Teen turn to her Father. "What happened at that sleepover?"

"A lot happened, dad. But, if it wasn't for him...we wouldn't be here."
