AN: I am sorry that it's been so long since I have updated this story. In all honesty, Matthew Perry's passing had a big impact on my writing. Him and his character of Chandler is the reason that I became the writer I am today. I have slowly started to get back to writing again and have actually started watching Friends again and am able to laugh at the episodes again.
Anyway, I hope you like this update. Please drop a review!

Chapter 40
Thoughts From An Expectant Teenage Father
Personal Blog of Chandler Bing
With special guest blogger, Monica Bing
This post will be a little different than my first two. For starters, this will be co-written by my wonderfully amazing wife (Monica wrote that part). This will also be a bit more personal as it will involve both of our first times being intimate with someone.
So here it is: our story.
We were on vacation with everyone who lived in my house and a family that my dads have been friends with since before I moved in with them. We did a little sneaking around and broke a lot of rules that were put in place when I was told that I could invite my best friend and my girlfriend on our annual family vacation. There was some drama before the trip with some personal truths coming to light with my wife's brother, but thankfully it had all been resolved before we left on the trip.
My dads have co-owned a house on the beach for years. They rent it out throughout the year to make some extra money. We take a family vacation there every summer with the other owners of the house. This past summer, two additional people had started living in the house because of some family issues, so there was a house full of people this year with the two guests that were able to come.
Throughout the week of our vacation, we all spent it in town exploring all the local attractions that the town had to offer. My wife's brother is very overprotective and kept a watchful eye on us no matter what we were doing. Thankfully, his girlfriend and my friend since moving in with my dads, had my back and made sure we had some breathing room.
We were given permission to celebrate our anniversary by ourselves as long as we stayed in a public place. We did keep that promise at first. The night of our big date, I was nervous. We made plans to walk along the beach, exchange gifts, and have a nice dinner at a place on the boardwalk. And we did do those things. However, we also had something else planned.
I will not be going into too much detail because, frankly, it is no one's business how it happened, where, why, etc. Afterwards, I thought it might be awkward, but surprisingly it wasn't. I promised her that when we got back home there would be no awkwardness on my part. I would not ignore her or brush her off. As cheesy and corny as it sounds to any other teenager on the planet, she was my future. I couldn't imagine my future without her in it.
And now you will hear from my amazingly wonderful wife….
Hello, this is Monica. I decided to get on here to tell my side of this very adult decision that we made. Though I don't have much to add. Chandler seems to have covered it all.
Getting together with him last year was, in my opinion, the best decision that I have made in my entire life. It sounds sappy, but it is true. Not just because we both feel a connection, but also because his family have supported me from day one. Even taking me in when things spiraled to the point that I couldn't stay with my parents anymore. Both of his dads have said that I was welcome at their house anytime, and they always included me in their family plans.
Now onto the reason for this post. I am going to assume that everyone thinks that Chandler pressured me into taking this step in our relationship. That is simply not true. We made this decision together. In fact, the day that it happened for the first time, he kept making sure that this is what I really wanted. Even being in the current situation that we are in, I don't regret that night one bit. The aftermath, however….but that is for another post.
I know that it was a very adult decision made by a couple of teenagers who should've thought more deeply about the step we took. And now we are facing a very adult situation as a result of it. Maybe everything will be ok, maybe it won't. Who knows? I do know one thing: no matter what happens, I know that I will have the support of my husband and my new extended family. Something that I felt that I never had growing up.
Until Next Time,
Chandler & Monica
Chandler and Monica were sitting in class together when they were called down to the office. They both knew that the latest blog post would have an impact, but they weren't expecting several of their classmates to come up to them and express to them that what they posted is how they feel or felt when they were making the same decision. It got so much attention that it started to make them uncomfortable.
When they walked into the office and the secretary saw them, they could see her roll her eyes. She got on the phone, they assumed to let the principal know that they were there. Chandler got on his cell phone and called Stan, who told him not to talk to the principal until he got there. Within ten minutes, Stan was walking in with the school guidance counselor.
"He will see you now," the secretary winked at Chandler and Monica. "I told you the office staff is on your side."
"Thank you," Chandler smiled at her.
"Hold up," the office door opened again and Mr. Knox, Chandler's computer teacher came in. "I am here to defend you, Mr. Bing,"
"Thanks," Chandler told him as the group walked into the office.
"What is this?" Principal Reynolds demanded as he saw everyone walk in.
"I have advised Chandler and Monica to call me whenever you tried to stampede these two without their parents present," Stan told him.
"Mr. Bing's latest blog post is unacceptable,"
"You may be right if he had posted it on a website that was associated with the school," Stan stated. "But because he posted it on an outside website, you cannot reprimand him. He will have no punishments. Neither of them will."
A little while later, Chandler and Monica walked out of the office, followed by Mr. Knox as Stan continued to berate the principal.
"Now I'm glad that you suggested posting on an outside website," Chandler looked at Mr. Knox. "Thanks for defending us."
"Yes, thank you," Monica told him.
"Not a problem," Mr. Knox smiled at them. "I want you two to succeed."
"Hey, there you are," they looked up and saw Carol walking up to them.
"We got called to the office because of our post," Chandler told her as Mr. Knox walked away.
"So what happened?"
"He couldn't do anything because I post on a website not connected to the school,"
"Well, it's been shared several times on social media," Carol told them. "Nearly half the school."
"No wonder we got called down," Monica told him as they walked into the cafeteria for lunch and got in line.
"Is everything ok?" Ross asked as they sat down with him, Joey, Phoebe, and Carol after getting their lunch.
"The principal couldn't do anything," Chandler told them all. "I called Uncle Stan and Mr. Knox came to defend us."
"But everything is ok?"
"Everything is fine, for now."
"You're not getting kicked out, are you?" Joey asked.
"They can't kick us out. They would need a reason. I post on an outside website not associated with the school."
"Well at least that's settled," Carol stated.
"For now," Monica said. "They won't stop trying to kick us out."
"I can only imagine how it's going to be once the semester is done and you're here by yourself," Chandler looked at her.
"We'll still be here with her," Ross told him.
"I can take care of myself," Monica told them all.
"We know you can," Carol assured her. "We just worry."
Everyone arrived home right after school and walked in to see Terry talking to two people that they weren't expecting to see: Sandra and Leonard Green. Chandler glanced at Monica, who looked just as shocked as she was.
"Hey kids," Terry greeted them apprehensively. "How was school?"
"We got called down to the office again," Chandler told him.
"The blog?"
"I called Uncle Stan," Chandler stated. "And Mr. Knox came to defend us as well."
"So everything is good?"
"For now,"
"I'll call Stan later and talk to him about it,"
"So what's going on?" Chandler eyed the Green's as they seemed transfixed on Monica, who was being shielded by Chandler.
"The Green's just came over to discuss the annual Christmas toy drive that the club throws every year,"
"Right,"
"Come on," Phoebe told them as they started to walk the rest of the way through the kitchen. "We have a lot of homework."
"Monica," Sandra stopped her. "We haven't seen you for a long while."
"I know," she said softly.
"You can thank your daughter for that," Chandler looked at them.
"What?" Sandra stared back at him.
"Come on," Chandler took Monica's hand and led her out of the kitchen, followed by the others.
"What was that about?" Sandra looked at Terry.
"He's very protective of Monica," he told her.
"I can see that, but what does Rachel have to do with Monica not coming over?"
"I'm not sure that I am the person to tell you-"
"What is going on?" Leonard asked him. "We've been friends for years."
"Ok," Terry started writing something on a sticky note. "This is a website. You should check it out."
"Why?"
"Chandler is doing a class project for his computer class. He's doing a personal blog about becoming a teen husband and father. He has already made a few posts. So far, it's about how he came to live with us and how he got together with Monica, which he credits your daughter for it. Though it doesn't show her in a very good light."
"We'll check it out when we get home," Sandra slipped the note into her purse.
Chandler was sitting on his bed scrolling on his laptop as Monica was working at the desk. Joey and Phoebe had left them alone to give them some privacy. Chandler glanced at Monica, who seemed to be working, but he knew better.
"Hey," he spoke up and she turned to look at him.
"Yes?" she offered him a smile.
"Are you ok?"
"Sure,"
"Really?"
"I'm fine, really,"
"Is this where I say that I believe you when I really don't?"
"Look, I knew that it was inevitable that I would run into them eventually. I was nervous to see them, but I am fine."
"Fine," Chandler sighed.
"So what are you working on?" she came over to sit by him. "The next blog?"
"I was, but now I'm scrolling on the college websites." he told her. "We need to start the applications soon."
"It's coming up so fast,"
"I know," he sighed. "Some of these questions-they really want you to get personal."
"They want to know that you are a good fit,"
"I suppose I could write about being removed from my mom's custody and being raised by my dads,"
"Or finding out that you're going to be a parent as a teenager and marrying me,"
"I figured you would write about that," he looked at her. "Along with the result of the fallout with your parents."
"I could," she sighed. "I don't know if I want to put myself out there."
"And I do?" he looked at her.
"Good point," she smiled. "Do you want to start working on these or not?"
"I'm just going to jot down the main points that I want to convey," he told her. "I'll work on it tomorrow with Mr. Smith. He's reserving a room during lunch for anyone who wants to work on their college applications and the essays."
"Then do you want to do some more work on the nursery?" she smiled.
"Sure," he got off the bed and followed her out of the room and next door into the nursery.
They set to work organizing the few items that they did have. Chandler started to fill the small bookcase with the books they had gotten while Monica started placing the stuffed animals on the shelves.
"Where'd this one come from?" Monica picked up a teddy bear that looked worn and well-used.
"That was mine," he told her and she turned to look at him. "It was my first stuffed animal. My dad got in when I was still in the hospital when I was born. He kept it after the split and he brought it with him when I was in the coma."
"Are you sure you want the babies to have it? It seems like it's very sentimental to you."
"The only memories I have from that bear is the divorce and what my mom let happen to me. It deserves to have happier memories connected to it."
"We'll make sure that it does," she smiled at him.
"There you are," Charles entered the room. "Terry said that supper is almost ready. If you guys want to go prepare something so we can all eat together."
"Right," the two of them stood up and walked out of the room and went downstairs with Charles.
