Chapter 13: Madfox:
Sonic's POV:
Tails and I were skateboarding.
"I think I got it this time," says Tails. Tails then falls. He's learning.
"You'll get it one day, Tails," I said.
"Tails?" A strange fox appears. "Is that really you?"
"Yeah, and who are you," asks Tails.
"I'm your Uncle Matt!"
"I have an Uncle Matt," asks Tails. Tails never really knew his family.
"I always assumed his family also had two tails," I said.
"It's just a unique thing that happened when he was born," says Matt.
"I was hoping for a better explanation," says Tails, "but I'm glad to be meeting someone from my family."
"Tails, my boy," says Matt, "I have some valuable treasures that I'm going to need to hide."
"I can take you to the Section Twelve Vault," says Tails.
"Your parents would be proud," says Matt. They then walk away.
I should be happy for Tails, but something doesn't seem right.
. . .
Later, Tails was telling the others about his Uncle Matt.
"He sounds cool," says Mina.
"He is," says Tails.
"I sense something is coming," says Espio.
Then a strange portal opens, and another fox comes out. "Yeah Baby! Psycho is here!"
"Who are you," I asked.
"The name is Psycho Fox and I'm looking for an evil fox named Madfox!" He then shows us a picture.
"That's my Uncle Matt," says Tails.
"Wrongo! He's Madfox and he is evil incarnate!"
"I don't think we should trust a guy named Psycho," says Knuckles.
"Look, do you know how often Tails gets to meet family..." I began.
"Let me stop you right there," says Psycho, "Kid, is Tails your real name?"
"No, it's a nickname," says Tails.
"And how long have you had it," asks Psycho.
"Since Sonic gave it to me," says Tails.
"Then why didn't your uncle call you by your real name," asks Psycho.
Tails then realizes. "We have to get to the Vault," says Tails.
. . .
We arrived at the vault and the Chaos Emeralds we have so far have all been stolen.
"Tails, I'm so sorry," says Amy.
"I can't believe this," says Tails, "who is this guy?"
"I'll be glad to tell you," says Psycho, "among a group of fox priests who worship the Inari Daimyojin which means Fox Deity, one evil fox named Madfox Daimyōjin infiltrated his way to the highest ranks and took over the shrine. After seizing power, Madfox corrupted the land and created hordes of creatures. I've been chosen to stop him."
"I still have trouble trusting someone named Psycho," says Knuckles, "but at least you may not be evil."
"Let's go find Madfox," I said.

We found Madfox with a bag of stolen Chaos Emeralds.
"Madfox," says Tails.
"Tails, is that anyway to treat your Uncle Matt," asks Madfox.
"We know the truth," I said.
"You're Madfox," says Amy.
"Psycho told us everything," says Knuckles.
"And you took the Emeralds," says Mina.
"One, his name is Psycho," says Madfox, "so you can't trust him and two, this is just a bag of rocks. I like to collect them."
"Answer me this," says Tails, "what's my real name?"
"Wait, Tails isn't your real name," asks Madfox.
Knuckles, Amy, and I then came after him, but he uses the Red Emerald to become invisible. He then takes us down. Espio fights him. He was trained to fight with his eyes closed. Espio knocks the Red Emerald out of his hands. I then got up and took the rest of the Emeralds.
"It's over," I said.
"You will not stop my destiny," says Madfox.
Madfox then throws a smoke bomb to the ground, and he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"He could be anywhere," says Psycho.
"I managed to put a tracker on him," says Tails, "come on!"

We found Madfox at the ball field.
"Let's play ball," says Psycho.
"You ahre a strahnge fahx," says Antoine.
We then saw Madfox. He tried to get away, but Tails takes flight.
"Woah, he can fly," asks Psycho.
Tails grabs Madfox. "You can fly," asks Madfox.
. . .
Madfox was tied up.
"Thanks a lot Dudes and Dudettes," says Psycho, "well, I gotta go. Hey Tails, nice job. So, what is your real name, anyway?"
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh..." Tails begins.
"Come on, you can tell a fellow fox," says Psycho.
Tails sighs. "It's Miles Prowler."
"Well, see... Prowler?" Psycho and Madfox are then gone.
"I know you really wanted to see your family..." I began.
"You know what I realized," says Tails, "you guys are my family." Amy then hugs Tails.
"Alright, let's put the emeralds back in the Vault," says Knuckles.
Psycho's POV:
I spoke with some friends of mine. "Hey," I said, "I think I found your son!"
In this, Psycho Fox's home is in Mobius. Anyway, in the next chapter, Sonic and his friends look for the Silver Chaos Emerald.
