Chapter 14: Silver:
Sonic's POV:
The next Emerald was the grand prize in a game show called 'Scrap Brain'.
"I'm your host, Jimmy Jones, now let's meet our contestants. What is your name?"
"I'm Papri," says this girl, "I try to collect flowers to win the affections of this one boy."
"And what is your name?"
"I'm Bomb Jack," says the guy, "and I'm a superhero."
"And what is your name?"
"I'm Tails and I'm a two-tailed fox." If Tails wins, we get the Chaos Emerald.
"Okay, now, our first question, who invented school," asks Jimmy Jones.
I just hope Tails has studied Earth History.
Tails rings the buzzer. "In many circles, Horace Mann is considered the inventor of school. In general, he's credited as the father or creator of the modern school system in the United States, even though many school systems existed at the time."
"Correct," says Jimmy Jones, "next question, what is the scientific term for red blood cells?"
Is it just me or does this show not have any topics?
Tails rings the buzzer. "Erythrocyte and RBC," says Tails.
"Correct," says Jimmy Jones, "next question, what animal can live the longest?"
Tails rings the buzzer. "Ocean Quahogs," says Tails, "clams."
"Correct! Our winner!"

Thanks to Tails, we got the Chaos Emerald, but then Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts show up.
"Congratulations," says Scratch, "now give us the emerald!"
We then take on the bots. Then the Silver Emerald started to glow, and we were all on the ceiling.
"What the what," asks Knuckles.
"I think the Emerald has power over Gravity," says Tails.
"Does this mean anyone can look up my skirt," asks Amy.
"It's not like a lot of us where clothes," says Knuckles.
"How do we get down," asks Scratch.
"We have to find a way to get to the Emerald, which is still on the ground," says Tails.
"Float, we all float," says Grounder.
"Espio, grab it with your tongue," I said.
Espio does just that and we're on the ground again.
"Let's go," I said. We then left with the Emerald.
Scar's POV:
I was trying to reach for the cookie jar, but I couldn't. Man, why couldn't I have been cloned from someone tall? I hate being this short. Then Sonic and the others came in. Tails was flying.
"Check this out," says Mina. She then uses the emerald to fly next to Tails.
"Woah," I said.
"The new emerald has power over gravity," says Tails.
"You don't say," I said.

I convinced Day and Billie to help me break into the vault.
"This is a bad idea," says Billie, "we could get into serious trouble."
"Sounds good to me," says Day.
"What is wrong with you," asks Billie.
"We got this," I said, "remember, just the gravity emerald."
We get into the vault, and I take the Silver Emerald.

After enjoying the cookies, I was able to reach, I decided to have some real fun.

Day, Billie, and I began using the emerald to mess with gravity at a lot of places. Like making cars fly, helping old ladies reach their cats in trees, and even making people think we were ghosts.
"See," I asked, "we got this."
"I still have a bad feeling about this," says Billie.
"What could happen," I asked, "now, who wants ice cream?"
Day was disgusted. I'll never understand her tastes. I then tried to use the emerald to summon an ice cream truck to us, but nothing happens.
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... Scar, the Emerald was silver... that's gray."
Someone took the Emerald from us. I then found a note that says, 'Thank you'. I then looked and saw that Rouge the Bat that Knuckles told us about flying away.

"You mean you lost an emerald that controls gravity," asks Agent Bass.
"I am such a dork," I said.
"Sonic and his team will just find it," says Captain Fox.
"M'am, I can do anything they can do," says Agent Bass.
"Really, can you do this?"

"UUUUUUUUUmmmmmmmmm... no..."
"Well, I'm sending Sonic and his team because it's their job to collect the emeralds in the first place."
Sonic's POV:
We were now all looking for Rouge the Bat. When she lands on a roof, Knuckles, Julie-Su, Tails, Mina, and I find her.
"Those wings," says Mina, "you're the one who stole my Mother's jewels!"
"Can you be more specific," asks Rouge, "wait, you're that pop star, right?"
Knuckles then attempts to punch her, but Rouge blocks with her feet. Julie-Su then attempts to attack her, but Rouge throws Knuckles in the way. I tried to run at her, but she dodges. This bat is no joke. Tails tries to get the emerald, but Rouge kisses him on the cheek and throws him to an angry Mina. Rouge then uses the emerald to traps us in the air and flies off.
"I don't care for her," says Julie-Su.
"We may have a problem," I said.
Scar's POV:
"So, what do we do," asks Bille.
"I usually like bats," says Day.
"If only we knew how to trap her," I said, "wait, she's a jewel thief, right? Maybe we can use that... wait, there is still one thing. Keeping her from escaping."
"I am a superhuman," says Billie.
"Oh yeah," I said.
"I always forget that," says Day.
. . .
We then set up the trap and used the rest of the Chaos Emeralds as bait. We waited and Rouge showed up.
"This is obviously a trap," says Rouge, "but that's never stopped me before."
As Rouge is about to approach the emeralds, Billie grabs her. "What kind of kid are you," asks Rouge.
"I'm no ordinary kid," says Billie.
"That's somebody else," I said.
Rouge manages to escape, but she drops the Silver Emerald and I use it to give Rouge some extra weight.

Rouge is caught.
"So, what are you going to do with me," asks Rouge.
"What are we going to do," asks Captain Fox.
"I suggest what you usually do," says Agent Bass.
"You mean this?"

"And during that, Rouge managed to escape," says Sonic.

We lost the bat, but at least we got the emerald back. Invisibility, Invincibility, Immortality, Life, Mind, and Gravity. There's one left.
In the next chapter, Sonic and the others learn the legend of the Shining Force.
