Chapter 15: Shining Force:
Sonic's POV:
Tails, Knuckles, Jet, and I were checking out some old ruins.
"Sure, is a dump," I said, "why are we here?"
"Don't forget," says Jet, "I was cloned from an archaeologist. Look over here."
It was a weird sword.
"Very nice," I said, sarcastically.
Then the ground started to shake.
"That was weird," says Tails.
"Hey, I found this book," says Knuckles.
"Let me take a look," says Jet. Jet then begins reading.
Max's POV:
My name is Max and I have been chosen to lead the Shining Force and protect the Kingdom of Guardiana from Dark Dragon and the forces of Runefaust. I have gathered many allies to form this mighty team, the Knight, Ken, the warrior, Lug, the mage, Tao, the archer, Hans, and my best friend, the priest, Lowe.
"So, when do we get to break some bad guys," asks Lug.
"Do you always have to act like a kid," asks Tao, "I've worked hard to get where I am."
"Yeah, as the Princess' maid," says Lug.
"This is my chance to become a real wizard," says Tao.
"Maybe Mae will notice me," says Ken.
"She's five years older," says Lowe, "I'm afraid she just sees you as a younger brother."
Ken sighs.
"I really don't like fighting," says Hans.
We took on the Rune Knight and his forces of dark dwarves and goblins. Then my mentor was killed by Kane, using his Sword of Darkness, but my mentor's daughter, Mae then joined us. Also, the King died, so we went to look for his daughter, Princess Anri. We also recruited the monk, Gong and the old warrior, Gort.
Sonic's POV:
"Wait, so we got an irresponsible warrior, a stick in the mud mage, a knight with girl problems, and a pacifistic archer," I asked, "yeah, they needed these new guys."
"Our team ain't that perfect," says Knuckles.
"Good point," I said.
Max's POV:
We traveled the land, going to places like Rindo where we recruited the steam knight, Guntz.
"Yo! I'm Guntz. How do? I don't like fighting and all that kind of thing, but I'm under Dr Crock's orders! He told me to come and help you lot, now that he's finally completed the steam suit. So here I am. Good to see you!"
Then we arrived in Shade Abbey where we recruited the birdmen, Balbaroy and his wife, Amon.
"I am Balbaroy! I was turned to stone by Darksol when he took the bodies of the dead. I will join you to fight Darksol's evil."
"Thank you for saving Balbaroy. Let me go with you so I, too, can fight evil. To reach Uranbatol, you must go through Bustoke. We will guide you there. I will join your friends."
We arrived in Manarina where we finally found Princess Anri.
"Vengeance shall be ours!"
And we also recruited the knight, Arthur.
"My name is Arthur. I used to be a knight. I'm not really the battle type. I like it here." Okay, he needed convincing.
In Dragonia is where we fought Kane and it turns out, he was being controlled by an evil mask and it turns out, he is my brother.
"Who knew," asks Mae.
And we recruited the dragon, Bleu.
"I'm in," says Blew.
We arrived at the Tower of the Ancients where Kane sacrifices himself in a fight with Darksol and now Kane is dead.
We have recruited many allies including Adam, Alef, Diane, Earnest, Khris, Pelle, Torasu, Zylo, Domingo, Hanzou, Kokichi, Lyle, Musashi, Vankar, and Jogurt.
Sonic's POV:
"How does he keep track of so many," asks Tails.
"Luck," I answer while trying to figure out about the weird shaking.
Max's POV:
Many who have accomplished so much, I give promotions, like making Lug a gladiator, Tao a wizard, Ken a paladin, Hans a bow master and so many others. Also, I obtained the Sword of Light and by fusing it with Kane's Sword of Darkness, we make the Chaos Breaker!
We fought many villains like Balbazak, Colossus, Chaos, Elliot, Ramladu, Mishaela, and then Darksol, but when we defeated Darksol, he used what remained of his life to complete the ritual and we were faced with Dark Dragon.
We had to fight each head; the middle head was the most dangerous.
"Please watch over Grandma and Grandpa and all the others who died. I'm... I'm going to fight so that people will be proud to call me a dragon god," says Bleu.
We fought and then we defeated the heads, but Dark Dragon wasn't done yet. There was only one way to defeat him for good. I had to use the Chaos Breaker, but that would require sacrificing myself!
"I can't get free, but you will die with me!"
And with that, Dark Dragon was defeated.
Sonic's POV:
"This was a very interesting story," says Jet.
I then realized. "Wait, these ruins..."
"Sonic," asks Tails.
"Don't you guys get it," I asked, "this was Dark Dragon's tomb! All of that stuff... it happened! That sword is the Chaos Breaker and Dark Dragon's trying to make a comeback!"
"It's just a book," says Knuckles.
Then part of the ground opens and there's a large dragon eye.
"Or not," says Tails.
I then grab the Chaos Breaker and it started to glow.
"Sonic, remember what the book said," says Jet.
"I got this," I said.
Just as Dark Dragons was coming out of the ground, I used the Chaos Breaker to retrap him.

We were on our way back.
"So, what woke Dark Dragon up," asks Knuckles.
"Who knows, who cares," I asked.
I then looked at the book.
Max's POV:
Dark Dragon is defeated, but before his defeat, I learned something about the beast. He has another name, but I could not find it. Also, he has nine children, and they are demon sorcerers! I think they live somewhere in the East.
The Dark Dragon's realname is Heifeng Guai the Black Wind Demon and yes, he's the Father of Tso Lan the Moon Demon, Po Kong the Mountain Demon, Tchang Zu the Thunder Demon, Shen Du the Fire Demon, Bai Tza the Water Demon, Dai Gui the Earth Demon, Xiao Fung the Wind Demon, Hsi Wu the Sky Demon, and Ting Song the Nightmare Demon. In the next chapter, Sonic and the others look for the Purple Chaos Emerald.
