Chapter 19: The Lost Treasure of Captain Silver:
Captain Silver's POV - Flashback:
I am the notorious pirate, Captain Silver. Many have tried to catch me, but none have succeeded. I finally found a place to hide my treasure. A deserted island. I buried it and have sworn that even in death, none shall take my treasure!
Sonic's POV - Present:
"And that is the story of Captain Silver," says Jet.
"Is that story true," asks Tails.
"Of course not," says Vector, "I've been asking around and no one has ever found this supposed treasure."
"The world is full of surprises," says Espio.
I then noticed something about the book Jet was reading. "Wait a minute," I said, "it's a big book, but the story is just one summery. I then took a look through it and then the rest of the pages came out and they magically formed a map.
"That was weird," says Amy.
"Guys, I think this is a treasure map," I said.

Now, Section Twelve managed to provide us with a sub we can use to travel to the island where Captain Silver might have kept his treasure.
"This is gonna be awesome," says Scar.
I then thought I saw another boat, but it must've been my imagination. Anyway, we took off.

"This is a waste of time," says Vector, "I bet that map is just a game for kids."
"You're a detective, do you not sense a mystery," asks Espio.
"Yeah, and I know a hoax when I see one," says Vector.
"We've reached land," says Knuckles.
. . .
We were on the island.
"Who has the map," I asked.
"I hahve ze mahp," says Antoine, "fahllow me."

We followed Antoine through the jungle. I noticed some strange footprints. One set looked like someone who would probably want the treasure for herself, another looked very familiar, but there was something strange about the third set.
"Be on your toes, guys," I said.
There was a howl.
"Maybe it was a biker," suggests Rotor.
We were then surrounded.
"Werewolves, cool," says Scar.
"I did not see that coming," says Jet.
We ended up fighting the werewolves.
"There's not even a full moon," says Tails, "so where did these guys come from?"
"Why don't you ask them," I said.
Knuckles then slams his fists on the ground, creating an earthquake that knocks the werewolves to the ground, allowing us to get past them.

"My life wahs flahsheeng befahre my eyes... I meess Bunnie!" Antoince then started crying.
"Let's keep moving," I said.
"What does the map say, Antoine," asks Tails.
Antoine looks at the map. "Ze mahp! Eet wahs wahrneeng us ahbout ze beasts. Zat jungle wahs cahlled ze Werewahlf Jungle!"
"You could have mentioned that earlier," says Knuckles.
"Next, we ahre ahbout to entair ze Vahlley of ze Weetches!"
"Like Witchcart," asks Tails.
"Like them," says Mina.
Three witches came. One of them was green with a pointy nose, another was short and warty, and the third was... surprisingly attractive.
"I'm going to bathe in your blood," says the attractive one.
"Wow, she's just ugly on the inside," says Amy.
The witches then started zapping at us, but we kept dodging.
"They're quicker than that rabbit," says the green one.
Amy then knocks out the witches with her hammer.
"I'm getting sick of witches," says Knuckles.
"Let's go," I said. What did she mean by rabbit?

"Next, we will be entereeng ze cahnnahnbahll veellahge," says Antoine.
"Sounds cool," says Scar.
"He means cannibal," I said.
"Ees zat naht whaht I just said?"
We were then caught in a net.
. . .
The villagers were getting ready to cook us. They worshipped this stranger in a cloak. The cloaked figure was about our height. There was something familiar about them. The figure then gestured us to leave. The figure approaches us. Antoine was scared because the figure was moving closer to him and then... the figure kisses Antoine.
"Bunnie? Mon Amour?"
"Hi thayure, Sugar."
. . .
Bunnie then explains her story to us. "... an so, thay thank Ahm thur God."
"Sounds like you've been living high," says Amy.
"You weren't kidding when you said she was part robot," says Jet.
"It's rude tuh stare," says Bunnie.
"Can you get us out of here," asks Espio.
"These paypul will do whutever Ah say. Ah thank Ah can arrange it." Bunnie leaves to talk to them.
. . .
Bunnie comes back. "Bayud news, thay figured out Ah wasn't uh God, sumhow, so now thay're gunna eat all uh us, so Ahm gist gunna bust yawl out now."
Bunnie then breaks the cage down. Antoine kisses her metal hand. "My dahrleeng, you will ahlways be a gahddess to me." Kisses her hand again.
"Sweety, Ah missed chur dumb corny lines."
"I hate to interrupt," says Mina, "but they're coming after us!"
We had to move.

Bunnie was leading us to the treasure. "Ah still kaynt bleeve yawl havuh pop star in thuh team," says Bunnie, "an each emerald has its own power?"
"I know, right," asks Amy.
"Wayul, hare way are," says Bunnie.
The Lost Treasure of Captain Silver! "Hey, did you notice that," I asked, "when my narrative self said that the words got all bolded!"
"Really, let me try," says Tails, "The Lost Treasure of Captain Silver! Hey, you're right!"
"The Lost Treasure of Captain Silver, " says Amy, "weird."
"The Lost Treasure of Captain Silver," says Knuckles, "nothing happened."
"Try again," I said.
"The Lost Treasure of Captain Silver," says Knuckles, "nope."
"Concentrate," I said.
"The Lost Treasure of Captain Silver," says Knuckles, "okay, there it is."
"Something's coming," says Jet.
Then a skeletal pirate comes out of the ground.
"Eet ees Cahptain Seelvair ahnd he's here to mahke sure we dahn't get ze treasure!"
"Maybe there is something to this treasure thing," says Vector.
Captain Silver came at us, but we dodged. There was something about this pirate and I think I might know what it is, but to make sure, I made my hands into a cup and took some water and I splacked under the skull. Captain Silver then had to move to some reflective glass.
"I don't get it," says Vector.
"I do," says Espio, "it's someone who's worried about Sonic ruining her makeup."
"And who would try to scare us to take the treasure for herself," I said, "ain't that right, Rouge!"
"I guess that's on me," says Rouge, removing the costume."
"But where deed you get zat skeletahl peerahte cahstume?"
"Oh no, I actually wore Captain Silver's bones," says Rouge. Antoine stared in shock. "It was all I could find! It's not my fault he was never buried!"
"Guys, I found the treasure," says Vector, "I'm a believer!" He opens the chest and there's just one shard of the Master Emerald.
"How did that shard get in there," asks Mina.
"It must've somehow traveled back in time," says Tails, "I guess the shard is Captain Silver's treasure."
"And I'll take that," says Rouge. She was about to kick us, but Bunnie kicks her, knocking her down.
"I know she ain't our friend," I said, "but we can't leave her on this island with those werewolves, witches, and cannibals."
. . .
So, now we got Bunnie, a shard of the Master Emerald, and a tied-up Rouge. Not a bad day for Captain Sonic!
In the next chapter, Green Hills gets invaded by an alien from Planet Paper-Rock.
