Chapter 34: Superman:
Superman's POV:
My old enemy, Bloodsport was causing trouble in Metropolis.
"Look, up in the sky," a citizen says, "it's a bird!"
"It's a plane!"
"It's obviously Superman," says Bloodsport, "do you people have to do this every time he shows up?"
"Robert DuBois," I said, "all this because your daughter got a D- on her test?"
"She deserves so much more than a D-," says Bloodsport, "and all of Metropolis will pay!"
Bloodsport tries to shoot me with kryptonite bullets, but I kept dodging. I then used my freeze breath to freeze the ground, making it so slippery that Bloodsport slipped. I then flew to him. "Now, did you even check her work," I asked.
"Well... now that... you mention it... no and... come to... think of it... Math was... never her... best subject... I guess... I did... overreact... My bad."
"It's alright," I said, "let's just get you to prison now."
"Yeah, I do actually deserve it this time, but one day, I will kill you!"
"We'll see about that," I said.
Dr. Eggman's POV:
I was watching the News. Honestly, I hate Superman! Look at him, he's everything I wish I was, muscular, handsome, and he has great hair. All I got is this fantastic mustache. Then my computers pick up another emerald... right here in Metropolis!
"That makes it easier," says Shadow, "maybe some of the villains can help us."
"Not likely," I said, "the greatest criminal mind in Metropolis, Lex Luthor turned to a good guy thanks to a cosmic wave the Power Rangers made."
"What about other villains," asks Shadow.
"You might be on to something," I said.
Sonic's POV:
Knuckles had a vision of the Green Emerald... the one with the power of Life.
"It's in Metropolis," says Knuckles.
"Hey, maybe we can meet Superman," says Scar.
"I prefer Batman," says Day, "my Uncle did meet Superman once.
"I prefer Wonder Woman," says Billie.
"Either way, you guys are staying here," I said, "Tails, Knuckles, Sally, and Big, let's do it to it!"
. . .
We arrived in Metropolis.
"This sure is a big city," says Big.
"This way," says Knuckles.
Superman's POV:
Lois and I were at the Metro Watchtower.
"I found another one for the vault," says Lois, with a piece of kryptonite in a lead box.
"Let's put it in," I said.
We then put the box in the vault with all the other pieces of kryptonite.
"Now, let's check on the boys," says Lois.
Dr. Eggman's POV:
"Welcome," I said, "Brainiac, Prankster, and Metallo. I am Dr. Eggman. My offer is simple, help us find the Green Chaos Emerald and you will be rewarded."
"If this is a waste of time, I will destroy you," says Brainiac.
"I understand," I said, "but believe me, the Chaos Emerald is great power, and I can locate it and..."
"The computer lost the signal," says Shadow.
"What," I asked.
"Something seems to be blocking it," says Shadow.
"But how," I asked.
Sonic's POV:
"It's here," I asked.
"Yep," says Knuckles.
"The Metro Watchtower," says Tails, "the headquarters of the Justice League!"
"I'll knock on the door," says Big. He does so and the door opens and it's Superman.
"Can I help you," asks Superman.
Dr. Eggman's POV:
"Your technology is primitive," says Brainiac, "also, I believe I might know what happened to your emerald. I believe that it might be at the Justice League's Metro Tower."
"What makes you say that," I asked.
"It's a big green stone," says Brainiac, "so, it's possible that Superman thought it was kryptonite and locked it in a lead box and placed it in the Justice League's kryptonite vault."
"Of course," I said, "wait, the Justice League has a kryptonite vault?"
"Why not," asks the Prankster.
"Let's go get it," says Metallo.
"You're going to need the Ultimate Lifeform," says Shadow.
"How interesting that you think being the Ultimate Lifeform really matters that much," says Brainiac, "let's go."
Sonic's POV:
We told Superman all about the Chaos Emeralds.
"It's probably in the vault," says Superman, "sorry."
"We probably would have made the same mistake," says Sally.
"The problem is, there are so many," says Superman. He opens the vault and we saw all the lead boxes.
"I'll see if I can find it," says Knuckles. Knuckles then enters the vault and touches a box.
"We just got that one," says Superman.
Then there was an explosion. "Hey Stupidman!"
"It's the Prankster," says Superman, "he's one of my enemies, who also fights Nightwing."
"It's true, I hate you both," says Prankster.
"I'm here too," says a robot guy.
"Metallo," says Superman.
"And look what else I got," says Metallo as he opens his chest and there's a green stone. Kryptonite!
It started weakening Superman. Then another robot guy showed up, along with Shadow.
"Prove you are more than just talk," says Brainiac, "attack!"
"Don't make me scrap you," says Shadow.
Shadow then leaps at us, and I took him on.
Knuckles takes on Metallo and Sally fights Prankster. Tails and Big try to take on Brainiac, but he swats them away. Brainiac then walks towards the vault and grabs the box. "We shall go now," says Brainiac. The four then leave.
"That didn't go well," says Sonic.
Then the Justice League Computer starts beeping. "We have a message," says Superman.
It was Scar. "UUUUUUUUUmmmmmmmmm... my friends and I kind of took another jet to Metropolis and..."
"Surprise," says Eggman, "if you want to see these kids again, give me the other two Chaos Emeralds!" The transmission ends.
"He's sending us a map to his location," says Sally.
. . .
We arrived at Eggman's base.
"Back when Luthor was a villain, he would use this place," says Superman.
"So, Eggman's been hiding out in Metropolis," I said. The door opens.
. . .
Brainiac had Scar, Prankster had Day, and Metallo had Billie.
"The Emeralds," asks Brainiac.
"Amy will be arriving with the Pink and Purple Emeralds," I said.
A jet then comes, and Amy comes out. "Here they are," says Amy.
"Now release the girls," says Superman.
"Better idea!" Then a little man shows up.
"Mr. Mxyzptlk," says Superman.
"And I thought Janken the Great was a weird name," I said.
"I'm gonna make this more interesting," says Mxy. He then does some weird light show.
. . .
Mxy turned everything into a video game. Superman and I were then in a construction site where we took on the Prankster. His hat could fire exploding flowers. He also had bubble gum that allowed him to fly. We managed to win. We were then in a building, taking on Metallo. His kryptonite heart could fire these green energy attacks. The fight then continued in a subway car. We managed to win that. We were then in some kind of underground factory where we faced Mxy and for some reason, he looked like a tough guy riding a jetpack, holding a blaster. We managed to win. We were then in space, fighting against Brainiac's ship. We were then in the ship and Brainiac was riding this... thing. It was firing green energy blasts at us. We destroyed that thing and Brainiac took us on himself. He was in a green forcefield and kept teleporting around. He also used holograms to make copies of himself. We found the real one and then he made these green energy orb things. We then defeated Brainiac and Mxy turns things back to normal.

"What was that," asks Knuckles.
"I thought I'd make it more interesting," says Mxy.
"Say your name backwards," I said.
"Okay," says Mxy, "Kltpzyxm." He then leaves and we take the emeralds, and we book it.
. . .
Superman and I then shake hands. "I should introduce you to Flash," says Superman, "you're about as fast as he is."
"I'm the fastest thing alive," I said.
We then headed back to Green Hills.
Dr. Eggman's POV:
"Section Twelve should be coming to take me in," I said, "we need a plan..." I then saw Shadow sitting in my chair. "What are you doing?"
Shadow then reveals he has the Emeralds of Invincibility, Immortality, and Gravity, but I don't know how.
"I managed to find these before your computers or Knuckles could," says Shadow, "thanks to your ransom plan, Sonic and the others know where your base is. I think it's time we have a new leader."
"You dare," I said, "destroy the traitor!"
Scratch and Grounder then grab me. "I had Snively reprogram all your robots into following my orders," says Shadow, "including Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts which was surprisingly easy to reprogram them... than again they are idiots."
"We obey Shadow now," says Scratch.
"You..."
"And for my first order," says Shadow, "we are looking for a very special space station. Lock up this idiot."
My robots then take me away. "I'll get you for this," I said, "you will pay!"
"Where's Rouge," says Shadow.
Rouge's POV:
"Agent Rouge to Commander Towers," I said, "the time has come!"
In the next chapter, Rouge tells Sonic and the others what's going on.
