Chapter 35: Sky Chase:
Sonic's POV:
So, I was eating chili dogs, Knuckles was hitting a punching bag, Sally was taking Espio's meditation advice, Tails was working on something, Amy was reading a magazine, and everyone else was doing anything else.
"We have a visitor," says Captain Fox, "Commander Abraham Tower!"
Commander Tower approached us.
"Can we help you," I asked.
"I have a surprise. Come forth, Agent Rouge!" Then Rouge the Bat showed up.
"What's she doing here," asks Julie-Su.
"Rouge has been working for G.U.N. ever since the reveal that Eggman was a traitor," says Tower.
"What," asks Amy.
"When you broke me from Eggman's mind control, I wanted to take him in, but to do that, I needed an inside man or woman or bat. So, I settled for the greediest, most selfish Mobian I can find."
"You flatter me," says Rouge.
"And why do you trust Rouge," asks Sally.
"I don't," says Tower, "she tries anything, that fancy braclet of hers will blow up and an entire room will be covered in Rouge guts."
"Gross," says Amy.
"And we're supposed to trust either of you," asks Tails.
"I trust them," says Espio.
"And I trust Espio's gut," says Vector.
"It's not a gut," says Espio, "it's my senses."
"Whatever," says Vector.
"So, what brings you here," I asked.
"Because, you're about to hear something that says 'Goodbye Planet Earth'," says Tower.
"First of all, Eggman's no longer in charge," says Rouge, "Shadow took over and, somehow, he has the remaining three Chaos Emeralds."
"Impossible," says Knuckles, "I would've sensed them!"
"I guess his emerald sense is stronger," says Rouge, "Shadow's looking for something called Spa-"
"Space Colony ARK," I asked.
"How do you know that," asks Tower.
"I was there," I said. I then told them the story of my first time travel adventure. How I met Maria and Eggman's Grandfather.
"Do you realize what this means," asks Tower, "this is all because of you! You probably inspired Professor Gerald Robotnik to create Shadow!"
"Sorry Abe," I said.
"I take it, you have a serious beef with Shadow," says Scar.
"My best friend was Maria Robotnik," says Tower, "you look a lot like her, Kid. She and everyone who was on that ARK is now dead and it's all thanks to Shadow!"
"We will stop him," I said, "he may have the powers of Immortality, Invincibility, and Gravity, but we got Life, Time, Mind, and Invisibility on our sides, not to mention all of our powers!"
"Then you will help us," asks Tower.
"We will," I said.

Tails introduced us to his latest invention. "I call it the Blue Typhoon," says Tails, "it's perfect for space travel."
"Let's do it to it," I said.
"What are we waiting for," asks Scar, as she, Day, and Billie were about to go on, but Tower gets in their way.
"You children are not authorized," says Tower, "it would be far too dangerous."
"You're not even in charge here," says Scar.
"No, but he does outrank me," says Captain Fox.
"I just saw Shadow," says Rouge, "he's leaving in the Eggmobile!"
"Then it's time for a Sky Chase," I said.
Shadow's POV:
"Coconuts, are we ready for lift off," I asked.
"Yes, Commander Shadow," says Coconuts, "soon, we will reach the ARK."
"Then take us to the air," I said.
Eggman's POV:
"I can't believe you would betray your uncle like this," I said.
"Technically, you are just the other half of my uncle," says Snively, "and besides, Shadow promises a better dental plan."
"That's obviously a scam," I said. We then took off.
Sonic's POV:
We took off in the Blue Typhoon and chased after the Eggmobile.
"The ceilings are kind of low," says Tower.
"My back hurts," says Jet.
"Sorry," says Tails, "I forgot to think about humans that could ride with us."
"Have you found the Eggmobile," asks Tower.
"There it is," says Tails.
Shadow's POV:
"Commander, Sonic's coming after us," says Scratch.
"Lose him," I said.
Sonic's POV:
They try to ditch us, but we kept following them. We then fired the lasers, but they didn't work. Shadow probably used the Invincibility Emerald to make the Eggmobile... invincible. I then had an idea.
Shadow's POV:
"Commander, we lost them," says Grounder.
"Good, now on to Space Colony ARK," I said.
Sonic's POV:
I used the Invisibility Emerald to make the Blue Typhoon... invisible. Now we can follow them.
"Hey, what's that," asks Tails.
"That's one of G.U.N.'s," says Tower, "we call it... the Wing Fortress!"
In the next chapter, Sonic and his crew are introduced to the Wing Fortress.
