Chapter 44: Team Hooligan:
Sonic's POV:
Tails, Knuckles, and I were on the roof of a building.
"Take a look at that view," I said.
"There are too many buildings," says Knuckles.
"It would be nice to see home again," says Tails.
"I know what you guys mean," I said.
Then there was an explosion. We all fell to the ground.
"What was that," asks Knuckles.
"Let's go check it out," I said. We moved to where the explosion hit the building... but we saw no one. "Weird."
"Sonic, didn't you and the Chaotix meet a guy who had a think for explosives," asks Tails.
"Yeah, but he wouldn't cause this for no reason," I said, "Bean's all about down with the Man and stuff."
"Well, something caused this," says Knuckles.
"We just gotta follow the trail of destruction," I said.
We then did so.
. . .
We then followed the trail and we found Bean.
"Bean, what gives," I asked.
"I don't have to answer to the Government," says Bean. Right, he hates governments and since we're affiliated with Section Twelve, he doesn't trust us.
"Okay, so why'd you attack us for no reason?"
"We can answer that!" It was Nack the Weasel and Bark the Polar Bear.
"What's going on," I asked.
"Call us Team Hooligan," says Nack, "and we're going to take you three down!"
Bean's all about liberation and Bark just thought I was Shadow, so I don't know what their deal is. The three then attack us. I fought Nack, Tails fought Bean, and Knuckles fought Bark.
"Why are you doing this," asks Knuckles.
"NACK PROMISED ME THE ONE WHO KILLED MY BROTHER!" shouted Bark.
"I know him," says Knuckles, "he lies!"
"Is this necessary," asks Tails.
"If I am to bring down establishment, I must make an example," says Bean.
"So, you're taking advantage of these two," I said.
"You just have to know how to talk to them," says Nack.
The fight went on, but then it seemed like they knew how to counter our moves. They could take down anything we can try. We had to leave.
. . .
"How were they beating us," asks Knuckles.
"I don't know," I said, "but we need a new plan. Come on!"
Nack's POV:
"Now, we hunt them down," I said.
"And then we destroy Section Twelve," says Bean.
"AND I GET MY REVENGE ON THE ONE WHO KILLED MY BROTHER!" shouted Bark.
"Bingo," I said, "let's go, Boys."
Sonic's POV:
For those of you who have no idea who these guys are, allow me to explain.
Nack is a bounty hunter. Robotnik hired him to get information on the Freedom Fighters from Tangle the Lemur and Knuckles had to save her, but Tangle ended up absorbed by the Master Emerald.
Bean the Dynamite's an anarchist. He wants to bring down things like the Government and other people of power. He probably would make a good Freedom Fighter... except that he also hates princesses like Sally. Go figure.
When Bark and his brother, Bite came to Earth, Shadow killed Bite and Bark wanted revenge, but first, he thought I was the killer until he got a good look at me.
"Nack's probably tracking us down," says Knuckles.
"Here they come," says Tails.
The three come and we needed to try something else. We tried to fight them, but we couldn't think of new moves fast enough. They were still taking us down. We had to move.

"How are they doing this," asks Knuckles.
"Nack," says Tails, "he must've been studying us and training Bean and Bark! He probably figures Bark was the best match for Knuckles due to strength and Bean was a good match for me because we're the smallest of our respected teams."
"While Nack counters me," I said.
"So, what do we do," asks Knuckles.
Nack's POV:
"I'M TIRED OF HUNTING THEM DOWN!" shouted Bark.
"Bean, why don't you convince them," I suggested.
"I'll destroy everything around us," says Bean, "down with the conventional social, political, and economic principles of a society!"
"Just get it over with," I said.
"Yeah, okay," says Bean.
"THERE'S SOMETHING NOT QUITE RIGHT WITH HIM!" shouted Bark.
"Tell me about it," I said.
Sonic's POV:
We heard explosions. "Let's go," I said.
. . .
We then saw the three and I had an idea. "This time, switch opponents!" Knuckles took on Nack, he has a score to settle with him anyway, Tails took on Bark, and I took on Bean. Knuckles was able to beat Nack's moves, Tails could outsmart Bark, and I can run around and throw Bean's bombs back at him.
"We should've trained for this," says Nack, "I realize that now!"
"WAY TO GO, GENIUS!" shouted Bark.
We then finally took these guys down!

Nack, Bean, and Bark were all locked up in Section Twelve.
"I still believe we should help Bark and Bean," says Espio.
"What about Nack," I asked.
"It's too late for him," says Espio.
"In the meantime, let's hope they enjoy their new home," says Sally. We then walked away.
In the next chapter, Sonic and Knuckles meet Julie-Su's old team.
