Chapter 51: Metal Sonic (1):
G.U.N. Agent's POV:
I was working at Prison Island. I checked on a very special prisoner, but then I took a good look at his cell. I then entered the cell. Something wasn't right. I then took a good look and that's when I realized it was a robot! Dr. Eggman has escaped!
Dr. Eggman's POV:
Snively and I were in my lair.
"And how are you doing today," I asked.
"When I get out of here, I am going to make you pay," says Shadow.
"You will shut up," I said, "it's time you see what happens when one double-crosses Dr. Eggman!"
"I'm still not so sure about your new robot," says Snively, "do you really think you can defeat Sonic just by making a robot that looks like him?"
"Metal Sonic's sole purpose to destroy Sonic," I said.
"Isn't that technically why all your robots were created," says Snively, "what makes this one so different?"
"Because I'm the greatest," says Metal Sonic.
Sonic's POV:
I was running through Green Hills. I ran into Tails and Knuckles.
"We spotted some of those Zeed goons," says Knuckles, "they were attacking an odd job shop."
"Then let's do it to it," I said.
. . .
We arrived at that shop and the Zeed goons were there. "Hey, if you guys are looking for trouble," I said, "then you came to the right place!" Yes, I got that from a song.
The Zeed goons came at us, but we fought back. I then took them down.
"You could've saved some for us," says Knuckles.
"Sorry Guys, I guess I was just in the zone," I said.
"Sonic, you're starting to let your ego get to you again," says Tails.
"Hey, it's not my fault I'm unbeatable," I said.
Amy's POV:
Big, Cream, Cheese, and I just came out of the bakery.
"Only 25 pies today," I asked.
"I'm dieting," says Big.
Cream stops. "I thought I heard something," says Cream.
Then we saw something that kind of looked like Sonic. They then attacked us. I tried to fight back, but they destroyed my hammer.
"What is going on," asks Big.
"Chao," says Cheese.
Whoever or whatever they are... they knocked us out-
Vector's POV:
We just solved another mystery.
"He was just using us to clean up his house," says Espio.
"But how do you explain the blood stains," says Charmy.
"It was ketchup," says Espio, "he just wanted us to think it was blood."
"Do you have proof," I asked.
"How'bout the fact that the culprit was Julius Caesar," asks Espio, "according to what I learned, he was a Roman Emperor."
"Then what's he doing in Green Hills and killing people," I asked.
"He's also dead," says Espio.
"Maybe he faked his death," I said.
Then we were attacked by something that looked like Sonic.
"What's going on," asks Charmy.
"Is this another con," I asked, sarcastically.
"No, it's the real thing," says Espio.
This thing then knocks us out. Mighty's lucky he's with Julie-Su and Rotor.
Julie-Su's POV:
"Thanks for helping me pick up the parts I need," says Rotor.
"No problem," says Mighty.
"It was a pleasure," says Julie-Su. Then I saw something that kind of looked like Sonic. It then charged at us.
"What's going on," asks Rotor.
"Trouble," says Mighty.
It kept coming at us. I tried to fight back, but it was like it knew my moves. It then knocked us out.
Sally's POV:
Bunnie, Antoine, and I just came out of the supermarket.
"It's a good thing people are getting used to us by now," I said.
"I do naht like ze way zat mahn wahs lookeeng aht you, Bunnie."
"Antoine, Sweety-Pie, he was just shocked beh-cuz aah'm a cyborg rabbit. That's all."
I then looked and thought I saw Sonic, but something wasn't right. They then came at us and Bunnie then tried to hold them back, but they took her down and then came toward us...
Sonic's POV:
Tails, Knuckles, and I were on our way back to Section 12, but then Mina came out. "Guys, something's not right! I think the others are in trouble!"
"And you think right," says Rouge as she shows up.
"What do you want," asks Knuckles.
"Eggman escaped from Prison Island," says Rouge, "and G.U.N. suspects that he's behind whatever it is you guys are going through!"
"Then let's go find him," I said.
"Should we start with his Metropolis lair," asks Tails.
"Nahh, too obvious," I said.
Eggman's POV:
I knew Sonic would think it was too obvious for me to use my Metropolis lair, so that's why I'm using it again.
"You will never get away with this, Eggman," says Sally.
"Fool," I said, "thanks to my new Metal Sonic, the world shall be mine!"
"Now, for Sonic himself," says Metal Sonic. He then leaves. It's so easy when you're evil. Yes, I stole that line from a song.
Sonic's POV:
We were checking out Eggman's lab from when he worked for G.U.N. It was dark. There was no sign of him.
"It sure is creepy," says Mina.
"I kind of like it," says Rouge.
"Sonic, where are you," asks Knuckles.
"I'm with Tails by the computer, why," I asked.
"Then who's this guy in front of me," asks Knuckles.
"Shadow," I guessed. He then attacked us. I then fought him, but he kept countering every move I make. Knuckles then tried and the same.
"That's not Shadow," says Rouge, "trust me, I can tell! It's some kind of robot!"
He then knocked us outside. We then get a better look at him.
"What are you," asks Tails.
"I am Metal Sonic!"
That's not even a clever name. It's as bad as Reverse Flash. Metal Sonic then came at us, and Rouge tries to kick him, but he blocked.
"He must be designed to counter any move we try," says Tails.
I then do a spin dash, but Metal Sonic blocks with his own spin dash.
"Okay, so you got some moves," I said.
"I was programmed with all your moves," says Metal Sonic, "and all the moves of everyone in your group!"
"That's just what Robotnik would've done," says Knuckles.
I then run towards Metal Sonic, who then knocks me out.
. . .
I woke up and saw we were all captured by Eggman and Metal Sonic.
"Well done, my robotic rodent," says Eggman.
"Sonic, that's not you, that's a robot that looks like you," says Big.
We all just look at him. "Yeah, I figured that all, Big," I said.
"Stix, when did you get captured," asks Tails.
"While I was napping on a tree," says Stix, "ironically, I had a dream about a robotic Sonic kidnapping me in my sleep. Weird."
"And now, Metal Sonic, get me the Chaos Emeralds," says Eggman.
"I'll get them alright," says Metal Sonic, but then Metal Sonic straps Eggman and Snively to a wall like the rest of us. "But I'll get them for myself."
"Another double-cross," asks Eggman.
"Now, I'm going to get the Chaos Emeralds," says Metal Sonic, "and I will destroy this entire world!"
