"Oh, Florian and Renne!" Florian's Mother called out as they see her talking to Nemona.
"Oh, hey Mom! What brings you here?" Florian asked.
"I thought I should check up on you until I ran into Nemona. She told me that she'll be taking you and Renne to school. And I see that the three of you become friends! How wonderful!"
"Hehe, thanks Mom."
"I read about all the wonderful teachers you'll have looking after you at the school. Plus so many handy facilities you can use as much as you like!"
"Really?" Renne mused.
"Really! Add in with your new friend, Nemona, and it sounds like your school life is shaping is shaping up to be fantastic!" Florian's mother giggled. "Now, you'll be staying in the schools's dorms, so I want you to promise me you'll eat proper meals. Here's a bit of spending money to start off with. I also packed a lunch for your first day!" She handed a sandwich and money. "Oh! And you better take these as well." She handed over potions.
"Oh. I recognized them. They're potions. They're used to heal Pokemon." Renne said
"Yep. In case if your little partner gets injured in battle."
"Thanks, mom! I'll be sure to take good care of my Pokemon." Florian smiled
"I know you will dear. I know every day in your new life is going to be full of exciting experiences, far from home."
'New experience... far from home, huh?' Renne thought.
"Just try to savor them all— the good times and hard times, too!"
"I will mom." Florian then hug his mother. "I'm going to miss you."
"Okay now use Scratch!" Florian command
"Counter with Tail Whip!"
"Aww, I'm going to miss you too.' She hug back. "But if you ever want to come back home, you know your bed is always ready for you." She let go of the hug. "All right, then! You three had better be off. Take care on the way to school!"
"We will, see you later, Mom!" Florian wave goodbye as she takes off
"Your mother's so nice, Florian." Nemona smiled
"She sure is."
"It must be nice." Renne wrap her hands behind her. "Anyway, shouldn't we catch some Pokemon?"
"Oh, right! I still gotta teach Florian how to catch wild Pokemon! C'mon, vamos!" Nemona said as they follow her to Poco Path. "All right here we are! Poco Path!"
"Poco Path?" Renne asked
"Yep." Nemona turn to the sight. "This path that will lead us to adventure! Out here, things are different than in town. You're gonna see wild Pokemon and about. They'll be on the path and in the grass and such! Get too close to one, and you'll have to battle. But you've got Sprigatito for that, right?"
"Yeah. He should be okay right now." Florian nodded
"Good to hear! If you want to try to catch a Pokemon, you gotta use..." She pull out Pokeballs. "A good ol' Poke ball!" I've got tons of them! Here! Have a few!" She handed five Pokeball to Renne and Florian.
(BGM paused)
And at that right time, an Lechonk appeared. "Oink, oink!"
"Ooh, what luck!" Nemona grinned
"Oh, look. It's a pig Pokemon." Renne fold her arms.

"Time for some learning by doing! Try battling this Lechonk, Florian!"
"You got it!" Florian smirked "Sprigatito , let's go!"
"Meow!" Sprigatito got in front and took his stance.
The Wild Lechonk charge in for a tackle and push Sprigatito back a few feet.
"Sprigatito , used Leafage!" Florian yelled.
Sprigatito meowed and summon leaves around and launch them toward Lechonk who taken the hit as it Pig Squealing.
"It's weaken! Catch it now!" Nemona yelled as Florian got out a Pokeball and throw it on Lechonk.
The Pokeball bunk Lechonk's head and it went into the Pokeball as it fell on the ground, it begin to shake three times until click.
(BGM paused)
"All right! You got it!" Nemona cheered.
"Congratulations." Rotom Phone got out of Florian's pocket and then show the picture of Lechonk. "Lechonk has been Regiaster into your Pokedex."
"Awesome! So what's a Lechonk?" Florian asked
"Lechonk. The Hog Pokemon. A Normal-Type. This Pokémon spurns all but the finest of foods. Its body gives off an herblike scent that bug Pokémon detest."
(Resuming Poco Path)
"Nice catching Florian! You caught your very first Pokemon!" Nemona smiled "I'm clumsy when it comes to catching Pokemon. Who knows, maybe you'll be an expert on catching Pokemon that you can give me some tips."
"Let me guess, because you're much of a Pokemon battling maneic?" Renne asked.
"Hehehe. Was it that obvious?"
"Very much so." Renne let out a giggle. "But you should also know that some Pokemon such as a Scatterbug are easy to catch. Of course, it doesn't count as a battle experience. Still, from what I know and seen. If you catch a Pokemon off guard, you'll have an easier time to catch them."
"Wow, Renne! You're like a Pokemon-catching expert! Maybe you can give me some tips!"
"Haha. Flattering won't get you anywhere Nemona." Renne giggled. "Still, that also doesn't mean every catch will be easy. It would be best to have extra Pokeballs in your inventory."
"Yep. You're right about that." Nemona turn to Florian and have 10 more Pokeballs to him. "Here Florian, you should some more Pokeballs."
"Oh, thanks. But you sure I can have them?" Florian asked
"Trust me. You'll thank me for it."
"Alright, time to test Bulbasaur in battle." Renne looks around and see a Tarountula on the three, another Lechonk minding its own business, a Fletching and a Hopplin are flying in the air. Renne take her ARCUS Alpha and looks into her Pokemon's movesets. Then turn to Tarountula.

(Wild Battle ~ Poco Path)
"Bulbasaur, let's go!" She threw her Pokeball and came out to Bulbasaur who came face to face with Tarountula who hissed. "Bulbasaur, use Tackle!" She commanded as Bulbasaur ran toward Tarountula and push it away. Tarountula then charge with its own tackle. "Dodge and use Tackle!" Renne yelled as Bulabasaur jumped out of the way and then launched for a Tackle Attack, pushing it back. Taruntula launches for another Tackle and knocks it a few feet. "Are you all right, Bulbasaur?"
"Bulba!" He responded with a nod as he got back on its stand.
"Good now use Tackle one more time!" Renne command as Bulbasaur launches himself for a Tackle and knocks it rolling in defeat."Well done. Let's continue." She look around and spotted the Hoppin. "Ready Bulbasaur?"
"Bulbasaur!" He nodded
"Then get its attention with Vine Whip!" Renne command as vines came out of Bulbasaur and aim toward Hoppin who capture its attention and took it stance.
The Wild Hoppin then used Tackle.
"Dodge and use Vine Whip to slam it on the ground!" Renne command
"Bulba!" Renne's Bulbasaur jump out of the way and then used Vine Whip to capture Hoppin.
"Hoppin?!" It exclaimed and then slam into the ground. "Hop!"
"Ooh nice one!" Nemona eye sparking.
"Now finish it with Tackle!" Renne command as Bulbasaur rush toward Hoppin and launch a Tackle Attack and knock it away. Causing Hoppin eyes to swirl and seeing stars.

(Resuming Poco Path)
"All right. Done." Renne said as she kneeled down and petting Bulbasaur. "You did Great Bulbasaur."
"Bulbasaur." Renne's Bulbasaur responds with pride.
"All right, Renne! I can't wait for us to battle!" Nemona's eye sparking.
"I think I need time to battle you. Gothitelle is strong, but I think I must train my Pokemon you know."
"Oh, right! My bad." Nemona chuckled. "Anyway, go ahead and battle some wild Pokemon and catch some of 'em." She turn to the Lighthouse. "See that lighthouse over there? Let's met up over there. You can see the school from on top!"
"All right! Let's go catch some Pokemon!" Florian said as he took off
"You do that while I go train my Bulbasaur." Renne walks with Gothitelle and Bulbasaur.
Florian spotted a Fletchling and throw out Sprigatito to battle it while Renne spotted a Pawmi and threw out Bulbasaur to battle it. As Fletching launched a Peck Attack and took the hit, Sprigatito then used Scratch. With Renne, she ordered Bulbasaur to use Vine Whip on Pawmi who dodged the attack and charged in with a Thundershock. Scatterbug received less damage because Bulbasaur is a Grass Type. Bulbasaur used Vine Whip to capture and slammed Pawmi to the ground and used Tackle to defeat it. Renne then returns Bulbasaur to his Pokeball to rest.
The Fletchling used Peak but Florian learned to yell dodge and counter with Scratch as Sprigatito scratched Fletching. Then Florian throws a Pokeball and captures it in the end. Florian begins to catch different Pokemon from what they have until they eventually walk to the Lighthouse.
"Well, here we are at the Lighthouse." Renne said. "So where's Nemona?"
"I'm right here!" Nemona approached them. "So did you get the hang of catching Pokemon?"
"Yeah! I think I got the gist of it." Florian nodded.
"Shall we head to the Light—"

A mysterious cry was heard, causing Renne, Florian, Nemona, and Gothitelle to cause their heads to look in around.

"Whoa! What was that?!" Nemona asked
"Was that a Pokemon?" Renne rub her chin.
"Go-ohhh..."
"I never heard that kind of cry before! Could it be some strong Pokemon or something?!" Nemona remark.
"It sounded closeby. Let's go look around." Florian said
"Right. But be careful while we explore. There's a kinda unsafe cave not far from here, so steer clear! And I know you have your Rotom Phones, which can help you keep safe, but watch your step by these cliffs too." Nemona told them as they nodded and split up.
Florian look around a few feet from the cliff where he heard some low growling.
"Huh?" He step closer to the cliff, look down to the beach and sees two unknown Pokemon who are exhausted, while four Houndour were growling at them. The two unknown Pokemon let out a thunderous roar, causing the cliff Florian standing to break. "Uh-Oh! Whoooah!" He yelled until his Rotom Phone spring into action, levitating him gently to the ground. "Phew... That was way to close for comfort..." He said until he saw the Houndour running away into the cave. "What are they?"
"Houndour, the Dark Pokemon. A Dark and Fire Type. It uses different kinds of cries for communicating with others of its kind and for pursuing its prey."
"Wow, so they decided to corner their prey huh?" Florian grumbled. "Sounds like they needed some lessons." He fist pump.

"Florian!" A Voice yelled as he look up and see Renne and Gothitelle levitate to the beach. "I heard you shout. Are you all right?"
"Yeah. Thanks to Rotom Phone, I made it out okay."
"That's a relief. Didn't Nemona told you to be more careful on these cliffs?"
"Ehehe... She did." Florian scratch his head sheepishly. "But never mind that. Look." He turn his head and they see the two unknown Pokemon.
"Huh?" Renne approached the two Pokemon with Gothitelle and Florian. "Are these the ones who let out those cry?"
"Yeah. But they look too weak to move..." Florian sadden and then rub his chin. "Maybe if we feed them something to get their strength back? Oh!" He pull out his Sandwich. "Maybe my sandwich will help!"
"But is one enough to feed them?"
"Might as well break it in half. Not unless you got something."
"Sadly, I don't have sandwiches, but I do have some berries in hand." Renne pull out her inventory in her ARCUS Alpha and pull out Oran and Sitiri Berries."
"Whoa! How did you do that?" Florian asked in surprised.
(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Meeting the Mysterious Pokemon)
"Oh right. You don't know my ARCUS unit, do you?" Renne asked as she feed the blue robotic large reptilian while Floriangave his sandwich to the red large Reptilian as both Pokemon chew on the food they gave them. "Hmm... Interesting."
Then both Mysterious Pokemon got back on their feet.
"Looks like that did it." Florian let out a smile. "Hey there, friend? How are you doing? You're not hurt anywhere, right?"
"Rotom? What are these Pokemon?" Renne asked as Her Rotom ARCUS Alpha scans them
"Pokemon Undenified."
"New species of Pokemon?" Florian blinked. "Whooooah! This is... So cool!" His eyes sparkles as the two mysterious Pokemon spotted the cave and they go toward it. "Huh, wait where are you—?"

The two Pokemon stopped, let out a cry and a surge of power burst out of them.
"Whoa!" Florian shield his eyes along with Renne and Gothortelle eyes.
The two Pokemon jump into the air and both release surge of power as the front legs grow more fierce like. However each of the two legs were different. Or change in the Blue one with lightning case. The Red Pokemon back legs grow fierce as it front while the blue one replaced its legs with jet engines.
"Whoa!"
"What the—" Renne blinked as Both Pokemon... well the red one landed on their feet while the blue one hover the land. Both Pokemon turn to Renne and Florian and approached the cave. "I think they wants us to follow them."
"Yeah, you're right... Let's follow them." Florian said as they follow the mysterious Pokemon and go into the cave.

"Hmm..." Renne hummed.
"Is something on your mine, Renne?" Florian asked
"Indeed. Have you noticed something about them?"
"Like what, actually?"
"Well for starters—"
"Oyeeee! Florian! Renne! Gothitelle!" Nemona's voice shouting in the distance as they turn and see Nemona at an cave entrance above.
"Nemona! Over here!" Florian yelled, catching Nemora's attention
"Oh there you two are! Are the two of you okay?! You're not hurt, right?"
"The three of us are fine. Gothitelle just use Phycthic to carry me to safety after Florian fell."
"Yeah. Lucky my Rotom Phoen spring into action and I'm !" Florian nodded
Nemona let out a sigh of relief. "Phew! Glad to hear that. Seriously, I was worried!"
"Sorry, Nemona. But we found what was making that cry earlier." Florian turn to the two mysterious Pokemon along with Renne and Gothitelle.
"Whoa! What are those two Pokemon?! They look SUPER strong!"
"We don't know actually, but they want us to follow them." Florian said as the Two Pokemon claw the rocks and it broke into pieces, creating a path. "Whoa!"
"Well it certainly seem strong." Renne mused.
"Yeah! It might be strong as mine! Maybe stronger!" Nemona eye sparked with excitement in her look.
"We'll catch up to you. We'll follow it." Renne said
"Okay, but be careful!" Nemona yelled as Renne, Gothitelle and Florian follow the two Mysterious Pokemon.
"Man, those two look so strong after that... whatever that was." Florian mused.
"Maybe it must have regain their strength. Some of it at least. Still... Do they look similar to you?" Renne asked
"In what way exactly?"
"Well for starters— Wait." Renne stopped, turn her gaze to a Houndoom watching.
"Whoa! What kinda Pokemon is that?" Victor asked as his Rotom Phone san it for him.
"Houndoom. The Dark Pokemon and the evolved form of Houndour. A Dark and Fire-Type. Upon hearing its eerie howls, other Pokémon get the shivers and head straight back to their nests."
"My brother has that Pokemon." Renne said as they continue onward.
"Really, your brother?" Victor asked
"Yes. However, I have a feeling that Houndoom isn't happy with us being here. We might get company." Renne said as she heard groups of growl approaching. "Speaking off.
A group of Houndour appeared
"Whoa, it's a group of Houndours!" Victor took his stand. "So those cowards must have called for backup." Then the two Mysterious Pokemon growled at them, causing them to flee again. "I guess backup wasn't enough."
"But I doubt that Houndoom is pleased." Renne fold her arms. "If things get worst, get behind me."
"Eh?" Victor blinked as a rock was destroyed by the two mysterious Pokemon and they continued onward until they see Nemona.
"Heeeeey!" Nemona waved until gasped. "Guys! Behind you!"

(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Houndoom Attack!)
Then the same Houndoom appeared and howl at them.
"Gothitelle!" Renne turn to her.
"Goth!" Gothitelle got in front of them and ready to battle.
Before Renne can command Gothitelle, the Wild Houndoom used Roar as it bark loudly, causing Gothitelle to shivered and go back into her Pokeball.
"Gothitelle?!" Renne exclaimed. "It must have use Roar!"
The two Mysterious Pokemon turn their heads to Renne and Florian who are in trouble. They both look at each other and nodded. They both jump in between as the red Pokemon launch a spin tail attack to push the Houndoom away. Houndoom growled and roared, summoning Houndours to surround them. The red Pokemon grabbed Florian while the blue one grabbed Renne.
"Heey! Over here!" Nemona yelled. "Up here! Quick!"
The two Pokemon then jump from rocks and rocks until reach Nemona as she clapped and place them on their feet.

"Phew! Thank you!" Florian sighed in relief.
"Yes. Thank you." Renne nodded in agreement. "I wasn't expecting that Houndoom would use Roar at the beginning."
"Yeah. I thought the two of you would be goners!" Nemona sighed.
"Well, I was going to handle it in another way but perhaps it's best that way." Renne said as both Mysterious Pokemon turn to the Lighthouse. "Hmm? Is something wrong?"
"It looks like they're staring at the lighthouse." Floria said until both Pokemon collapsed. "Oh no!" They rush to them. "Hey, you okay?!"
"They must have exhausted what strength they have left." Renne sighed
Nemona rub her chin. "But what's with this Pokemon, anyway? It kinda looks like a Cyclizar, but I've never seen one quite like these two before."
"A Cyclizar?" Renne asked as her Rotom ARCUS Alpha then shown her picture and information about Cyclizar
"Cyclizar, The Mount Pokemon. A Dragon and Normal Type. Apparently, Cyclizar has been allowing people to ride on its back since ancient times. Depictions of this have been found in 10,000-year-old murals. t can sprint at over 70 mph while carrying a human. The rider's body heat warms Cyclizar's back and lifts the Pokémon's spirit."
"Interesting..." Renne rub her chin and turn to the Mysterious Pokemon. "Actually, I was going to remark that. They do look like the Cyclizar, but they're not. The Red one has feathers on its body while the blue one intrigues me more. Its body is... robotic. Machinery I would say. And yet, it's able to consume those berries like any living Pokemon."
"Huh... now that you mention it... it does look like something build by technology." Nemona rub her chin.
Renne closed her eyes and rub her chin. 'Who could have built this artificial Pokemon? It looks completely advanced for it to have its own self-conscious as it if were a real Pokemon. Could it be from the Thirteen's Factories? From the Professor from his new experiments? From Noel? And...' She turn to the red Pokemon. 'This Pokemon must be some sort of new breed or something similar.'
"Hmm... Something also caught my attention. Didn't these two look so different a minute ago?"
"Yeah, you're right. But it's hard to tell either." Florian rub his chin. "But I'm just glad we made it out okay."
"Yeah. That battle was really something." Nemona agreed. "Each of you look like you were perfectly sync with one of them when facing down that Houndoom!"
"Um, we didn't do anything. It just jumped in and protected us."
"Really? Guess this Pokemon doesn't have a trainer yet, huh?"
"Perhaps. But..." Renne paused when the two Pokemon regained their strength to get back on their feet. "Oh look. They regain some strength to walk again."
"Oh man, oh man, oh man! The more I look at these Pokemon, the more mysterious they are!" Nemona's eye sparkling.
"You just want to battle them, don't you?" Florian asked with a blank expression.
"Haha! Of course!" Nemona admit with a playful smile, causing Florian and Renne to sweatdrop.
Renne sighed. "We haven't known each other that long, but you're already predictable at this point."
"Haha! Oh! Let's exchange numbers so we can get in touch if we somehow got separated again!"
"Oh good idea!" Florian nodded as his Rotom Phone came out and Renne's ARCUS Alpha came out too. "Hey, Renne. I never seen that Rotom Phone before. I remember you pull berries out of it, but never like this."
"Come to think of it. I never seen it too. Is it the newest model?" Nemora asked
"Actually, this is an ARCUS Alpha with a Rotom possess into it. You won't find this anywhere in the Pokemon Region because the technology and from where I'm from is from the continent of Zemuria." Renne explain
"Zemuria?"
"I'm guessing you haven't heard from two years ago phenomenon or something. But Zemuria has a different form of technology that is different from here in the Pokemon region. ARCUS stands for All-Round Communication & Unison System."
"Wow. That's quite the name. So it's like a smartphone?" Florian asked
"Yes. But it's highly advanced." Renne said as they finish exchanging contact numbers. "Ah, we exchange numbers."
"All right!" Nemona grinned.
"Now where was I? Oh right. Watch this." Renne open her hand as the Rotom ARCUS Alpha went into her hand, press a button to close function.
"The heck!" Florian exclaimed as Renne press it again and it activate a smartphone size. "While it can expend itself like any other Rotom Phone screen. "If you press this button on the side here." She press it and open a quartz slots.
"Whoooa. They look so pretty!" Nemona said in intrigued. "Are they gems?"
"Sort of. But you're not wrong. They're Quartz. They're electrical circuits from gemstones that give some stats boost to a person who clip them in. The Bigger one is called the Master Quartz. Unlike the Quartz, they can give special boons to that person. And they can grow alongside you in experience. The big one is the sub master quartz function which allow me to use some of that Master Quarts boon."
"So... um... sorry, I got lost with the whole thing."
"Figured." Renne sighed. "I'll teach you about this another time. But back to the ARCUS Alpha capability. It's a multitask Battle Orbment."
"Battle Orbment?" Florian asked
"Where I'm from, we don't just do Pokemon battles, we also have to do battle ourselves by wielding weapons."
"Wait, you guys have to fight?! Literally?" Nemona exclaimed
"Literally. But not just me. Pretty much everywhere in the world. I'm sure this is news to each of you. You heard news about a nation called Erebonia?"
"Come to think of it. I did heard the news about an very evil country called Erebonia from the news. They say it's filled with very bad people because they want to create war and exterminate all life." Florian said.
"No way! That's diabolical! Such a nation exist?!" Nemoma grimaced.
"Erebonia isn't an "Evil" nation. But the entire country has been plagued by a fowl phenomenon that causes people to turn evil and desire war. After that, the phenomenon is obliterated. Everyone in Erebonia was shocked at what they become. Almost as if waking up from a nightmare. The People of Erebonia feel so awful after what they did. They wanted peace. Erebonia pays for every damage they cause, literally. Right now, Erebonia is on the path of recovery and hopes to build a better relationship with every nation all over the world."
"You're awfully familiar with this... Wait... does that mean?"
Renne nodded "Yep. I was involved in stopping what would become the Great War."
"Wooow! So I'm meeting a hero!? That's completely amazing Renne!"
"Hehe. Thank you. But please, treat me like everyone else. I prefer it that way. In any case, back to the ARCUS Alpha. I told you what it can do. It can also do this." Renne press a few buttons and a holograph of the map appeared.
"What the whaaaat?!" Florian exclaimed.
"It can give a hologram version of maps, photos and such." She turn off her ARCUS Alpha."But does more than that. But that's for another time."
"Wooooow, Renne! That ARCUS Alpha is so cool! You have got to tell me more!"
"Hehe. I'll gladly tell you more about it. Including what my home country and Zemuria is like. Even places I've been too."
"Sweet!" Nemona grinned. "Oh! I been so intrigued by this topic I forgot to give you two something. Here." She poll out two TM032 Swift.
"What are these?" Florian asked
"Theses are TM. Technical Machine. This'll let you teach your Pokemon a move to help it battle stronger opponents!"
"Oh right. I had one of these back in my time in the Galar Region." Renne admit.
"Think before you use it, though. TMs can only be used once." Nemona said. "Anyway, let's head to the lighthouse. They'll be a good spot to relax after all that happened."
"Funny that we were supposed to meet over there." Florian said as they headed to the Lighthouse.

When they arrived, they see a young man with green eyes, and long hair with his bangs covering his right eye. He is wearing gray boots with green shoelaces, dark purple tights. A gray jacket with a white collar shirt underneath. He wears a yellow vest with a badge on his left side. He wears a yellow backpack. He turn to see the group and then saw the two mysterious Pokemon.
'Why those little...' He whispered and run toward them.

"Hey!" He yelled to the two Mysterious Pokemon. "What the hell are you two doing out here?!"
"Hey, language! There's a kid here!" Nemona exclaimed
"Kid? Wait, you mean me? I'm fifteen!" Florian grumbled.
"Wait, really?"
The mans scoffed. "I'm not talking to you guys. So buzz off."
"Oh?" Renne gave a glare.
"Wait, I know you... You're Arven, right? You're enrolled in the humanities tracks, right?" Nemona asked "And aren't you the son of that Pokemon Researcher— Professor Turo? And Nephew to Professor Sada?"
Arven glared at her. "Doesn't matter who my father and aunt are!" He crosses his arms. "The real issue is what in the world are these two Pokemon doing out here! And what's up with the form they're in?!"
"Judging from your tone. I take it you must be their trainer?" Renne asked
" I ain't talking 'till I get my answer!"
"Well these two save me and Renne from a tight spot. We heard this strange cry and investigated it. I ended off falling of the cliff." Florian explained.
"After he fell and his Rotom Phone save the day, I used my Gothitelle to lower me down to the beach to where he is. Afterward, we found these two on the beach. We fed them, followed them, and saved us from a Houndoom who used Roar to force my Gothitelle back into her Pokeball." Renne continued. "The poor dears exhausted itself in the progress."
"Ooh you should've seen it before! They both looked totally different— It was incredibly strong!"
Arven sighed. "Well, duh. They should be. But they can't fight while they're like this. The form Koraidon and Miraidon takes in battle... that's its true form. Oh. Koraidon is the red one with feathers while Miraidon is the blue one."
"So you are their trainer then. Since you are familiar with them." Florian said.
"Not exactly." Arval said as both Koraidon and Miraidon both cry to Arven and turn to the door. "You can't go into the lab. It's locked." Then he turns to Renne and Florian. "And I don't remember seeing the two of you either. Judging from this guy's uniform... you go to the academy too, huh?"
"Yep! And Renne is going to the Academy too. She's an exchange student." Florian said
"An Exchange student? That explains the dress. Either way, Both Koraidon and Miraidon ain't the sort of Pokemon that any old Trainers can hope to command. They're special."
"Special? How? What sort of Pokemon are they?" Nemona asked
Arven ignored Nemona. "So the two of you think you're up to ordering Koraidon and Miraidon around?"
"Hey, don't ignore me!"
"Then how 'bout I rest your worthiness?"
"You bet I am!" Florian smirked.
"Haha. Shouldn't I be?" Renne fold her arms with a grinned.
"Haha! Look at the two of you. In that case." Arven rolled up his sleeves. "Then let's have ourselves a battle to blast those doldrums away! So which one of you will face me?"
"I'll go!" Florian said as he approached.

"All right!" Arven got out his Pokeball. "Then show me what you got!"
Grumpy Trainer - Arven
"Go, Skwovet!" Arven throw out his Pokeball and came out Skwovet
"Skwovet!"
"Oh hey! My Mom has that Pokemon!" Florian grinned. "Come on Spirgatito!" He throw out his Pokeball and came out Sprigatito.
"Meow!" Sprigatito meowed and took his stand.
"Skwovet, used Tackle!" Arval swing his arm
"Use Leadage to intercept its attack!" Florian yelled
"Skwoveeet!" Skwovet charge toward Sprigatito
"Meooow!" Sprigatito then summoned and launched several leave to barricades of leaves to intercept Skwovet as it dealt some damage to him.
"Gah!" Arvel clenched his fist. "Okay, use Tail Whip!"
"Use Tail Whip too!" Florian yelled
Both Sprigatito and Skwovet run to each other, hitting each other with their tails.
"It kinda looks like its a contest to see who can shake their behind the better." Renne said.
"Pfft Ahaha!" Nemeona laughed
"Sprigatito, used Scratch!" Florian yelled
"Counter it with Tail Whip!" Arven yelled as Sprigatito launch a claw attack as Skwovet block with its tail and then counterattack with it.
"All right, use Leadage!"
"Meow!" Then Spirgatito summon leaves around himself and launch them at Skwovet, damaging it and knocking it toward Skwovet.
"Skwovet!" Arven exclaimed as Skwovet eyes swirled.

"Skwovet is unable to battle! Spirgatito win!" Renne announced
Arven sighed and return Skwovet to his Pokeball. "You did great." He put his Pokeball away and frowned. "Guess you got some skill... Here you go." He handed over 300 Pokemon Dollars to Florian.
"Wow, Florian! That was awesome!" Nemona cheered.
"I guess I wasn't even going to stand a chance using some Pokemon I'd only just caught..."
"I take it I'm up next?" Renne asked
"No. Sadly, Skwovet is the only Pokemon I have who is available. My Shellder is already exhausted. So you get a pass, for now." Arven turn to Florian. "So if you're got what it takes to take Koraidon and Miraidon off my hands for me.. you're gonna need these." He handed over two Pokeball. "The Pokeball to the left is Koraidon while the right is Miraidon. You sure you can handle them?"
"Wait a minute, why do YOU have it?" Nemona asked
"Well, what's your pick?" Arven ignored her
Florian tilt his head. "Hmm... How about this. I can take Koraidon while Renne takes Miraidon? Sounds fair?"
"Oh?" Renne look intrigued.
"Eh? How come not me?" Nemona asked
"You're gonna have it do battle when it can't." Renne answered
"Oh yeah. Hehe. True. Renne might be the better option here."
"Fine by me." Arven handed Koraidon's Pokeball to Florian and Renne the Miraidon's Pokeball.
"Um, hello! Why do YOU have their Pokeball?" Nemona asked again
"Anyway, those things are your problem now. Not mine. Good luck." Arven took off.
"What? That's twice you ignored me!"
"Sounds to me he doesn't want to talk about it." Renne said
"Fine, be that way! But you better actually show up for school!" Nemona yelled until sighed. "What a weirdo."
Koraidon approached Florian and Miraidon approached Renne as they both return them into their Pokeball.
"Welcome to the party! Sort of." Florian chuckled.
"Arven definitely knows more than meets the eye." Nemona fold her arms. "Next time, he and I will battle! I'm gonna wring some answers outta him!"
"You do that. But lets to the Lighthouse and see the view of the school." Florian said
"Oh right! Come! Follow me!" Nemona then headed to the ladder and climb up and Florian followed.

Renne sighed. "Really? A ladder? Why can't these people just use the stairs?" Then she climb up the ladder
"Renne, over here!" Nemona waved her arms to catch her attention. Renne approached and turn her head. "Look over there." She pointed to the building with a large Pokeball between pillars.

"See that building over there? That's Uva Academy! It's located in Mesagoza." Nemona said
"Wow. I saw the introduction video but I can't wait to see the city and the academy in person." Renne mused
"It looks incredible!" Florian said in awe.
"It's gonna be so awesome having the two of you in the same class." Nemona smiled
"Hehe. I'm gonna look forward to it!"
"Right? I can't wait to get back. We're gonna get to learn so much... and battle so, so, SO much!"
"Good grief. I feel like I'm the only one who's mature here." Renne giggled. "Joking aside." Renne look at the field around. "The roads ahead look stunning. Forests, Grasslands, mountains... far as the eyes can see."
"And you know what's waiting for you all over those natural spaces?" Nemona asked with a grinned
"Pokemon?" Florian asked
"Ding, ding, ding! There are many out there!" Nemona turn to them. "Consider this me officially telling you: welcome to Paldea!"
"We're honored." Renne said her curtsy and turn to the view. "Coming from this view of the road. I might say it will take a while before we reach the city. And then the school."
"But lucky for you. There's a nearby settlement!" Nemona pointed to the small settlement in the distance. "Let's make our way to Los Platos!"
"Sounds like a plan! Let's go!" Florian said as they climbed down the ladder and then made way to Los Platos

"Hey!"
Until they were confronted by a Youngster.
"Which one of you like to battle me?" He holds his Pokeball with a smirked
Renne and Florian looked at each other as Florian shrugged.
"Okay, guess I will." Renne stepped up and got out a Pokeball. "Go Bulbasaur!" She throws her Pokeball
"Come out Tarountula!" The Youngster threw out his Pokeball as their Pokemon came out

(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Trainer Battle Theme)
"Bulba!" Renne's Bulbasaur took his stand along with Tarountula.
"Bulbasaur, use Tackle!" Renne swing her arm.
"Use Sting Shot!" The Boy yelled as Bulbasaur launched him for the attack.
Bulbasaur then launches a headbutt on Tarountula, pushing it back. It then launches String Shot at him.
"Dodge and use Tackle once more!" Renne yelled as Bulbasaur then dodged and launched another headbutt.
"Tarountula, dodge and use Tackle too!"
Tarountula jump out of the way and then launches tackle to Bulbasaur's side and push it away.
"Use Growth!" Renne yelled
"String Shot!" The Younger Yelled
Bulbasaur size grow as Tarounula then fired silk toward Bulbasaur's legs.
"Now use Tackle!"
"Capture it with Vine Whip!" Renne command
The Tarountula then crawled toward Bulbasaur but as vines came out of him, captured and slammed Tarountula to the ground.
"Now finish it with Tackle!" Renne yelled as Bulbasaur broke out of the silk, then ran toward Tarountula and knocked it away.
"Tarountula!" The Youngster exclaimed as Tarountula roll to his feet with its eyes swirling.

"Aww, man... Return Tarountula." The Youngster sighed and return his Pokeball to his Pokeball. "I thought I had the advantage. Well, here you go." He handed over 220 Pokemon dollars to Renne.
"I feel like I'm being a bully for taking money from a kid." Renne put the money away.
"Huh. It does look like that doesn't it? But it's not like you actually bully me right? I did lose a Pokemon Battle."
"True." Renne petting the Youngster's head. "Keep getting stronger little one. And we'll see if we'll have a rematch." Then she took off with Nemona and Florian.
"Bye-bye!" The Youngster Waved goodbye.
Renne and Florian got themselves some Mount Pokemon! I was actually having trouble because Professor Tubo and Sada kinda look similar or something, but many believe that they're actually husband and wife. But then I look for more info on Arven and turns out... well I'd rather not spoil it until we go further into the story. So I had an idea to make them siblings.
