She is fighting with Prongs again.

That would require me actually wanting to marry someone. Not likely to happen.

Prongs didn't attend Mary's birthday celebration.
So Mary is sad and thinks James blames her.
This started out as an argument with Lily trying to defend her girlfriend.
It had since devolved into Lily threatening to take James to court for custody of the baby, even though she doesn't want the kid.
Honestly, if it wasn't for James trying to be actively involved, Lily probably would just put the kid up for adoption.
That's really fucked up.

Lily is threatening to take James to court so he can't have custody of the baby

Why is she acting like this? I thought Lily to be a good person
Lily isn't a bad person, she is the same Lily we all became friends with. Same Lily that is in love with Mary.
But sometimes a toxic relationship brings out the worst in a person.
Lily didn't want kids, Lily didn't want to get married, and Lily didn't even know that she liked women better than men.
Unfortunately, Lily and James got married too young, too soon. Neither of them is the bad guy in this situation, but the forced proximity of the two is going to make things worse.
They just aren't good for each other. Lily feels trapped due to the consequences and she is taking it out on James.
And James' guilt is making him shut down, creating a bigger target for Lily.
She screamed at him and called him a million nasty names this morning.
Reggie had it right when he said that she was doing a good job impersonating our mother.
James didn't fight back though, he just sat there and let her yell at him.
It was harder to watch James take Lily's verbal abuse than it was to see Lily have a mental breakdown.
Prongs didn't react at all?
Not until she threatened to take the baby away from him. You know how he is about family.
I had to call Mary to come get Lily and calm her down. That much stress and yelling isn't good for her pregnancy.
I also think James was on the verge of snapping at that point.
I could almost understand when she didn't want him there at the doctor's appointments because that would be super awkward.
But trying to ban James from seeing his kid? I can't help but feel mad at her.
They need therapy before they kill each other

Effie won't kill Lily. Though she may like to if Lily says half the things she did this morning in front of her.
But she will be a much better mediator than we are, and maybe even convince them to get into therapy.
