"RIOT JAVELIN" Gine roared, the muscles in her arm straining from the force of her throw as she swung her arm forward, launching the imperfect recreation of her love's signature attack. Stumbling back from the shockwave she watched with bated breath as the condensed blast soared through the air toward its target. The Lantern was laughing as he started shaping hard light into arrows that were facing where Fasha was.
Unfortunately, he had heard her.
Looking toward the source of the noise, she saw him grin widely before facing her. She could only gulp as the arrows followed suit and pointed at her.
"You think that'll be enough?! Fine! Let's put that pathetic attack to the test then!" She heard him roar before swinging his arm forward. As if released from bows, the arrows launched forward, each intent on piercing both her and her attack.
As the arrows grew closer, she closed her eyes and focused inwards. Only for them to snap open.
'No…' She despaired, her reserves were all but empty! That attack took just about every drop she had and now…
and now…
It was unharmed?
Gine couldn't believe it as she watched her blast overpower the first arrow with ease and kept going. Kept soaring through every arrow that the Lantern had sent and continued on its original trajectory toward the Lantern.
Who had just stopped laughing.
"What?!" He cried out as he raised his arm to create another construct! Only for him to be stopped! His hand had been grabbed from behind as a sphere of ki formed around the hand with his ring!
Gine grinned as she saw Fasha had recovered and floated behind the Lantern while he was distracted and ambushed him. Closing her eyes, she felt they could win the fight now.
Right?
Unfortunately, Gine would never know, as focused as she was on the Lantern and her Riot Javelin, she never saw that one of the arrows had missed her attack and was flying toward her.
"Did you really think… that we didn't… figure out how to counter… Lanterns?" Fasha growled through grit teeth as she held the Lantern's arm and focused on the sphere around his hand.
"Impossible! No Monkey is smart enough to do that!" He snarled as he struggled against the hold she put him in after she surprised him. His struggle only grew when the only response he was given was hoarse laughter.
"What are you laughing about Monkey!?" His insults only grew more vulgar when he noticed that the attack was growing startlingly closer.
"Us Saiyans are smarter than we let on…" Were the last words he heard as the blast engulfed them, carrying them off before exploding in a roar of searing energy.
Groaning, he shifted his hands underneath him before tensing his arms and pushed himself to his feet. Uncaring of the debris sliding off and crashing into the ground, Arlic groggily looked around the warzone that had intensified above him before his eyes saw it. Grunting, Arlic started limping his way toward it.
Toward Ruco.
The sounds of war were drowned out by his heavy footsteps and his heart's beating.
Step.
Step.
Step.
Stopping, Arlic looked down at the form of Ruco, of his friend. The pale corpse of Ruco lay there, his armor destroyed and bodysuit torn to the point that it was barely on him. Arlic's face contorted into a scowl when he noticed the state Ruco's form was in.
All of his blood had left his body.
"You used it… didn't you?" He whispered as his eyes trailed to a shining red light. Giving a sigh, Arlic eyes locked onto the source of the light. The gem.
The Infinity Stone.
The same stone that the blood of his friend was being absorbed into.
"You fool." He muttered to himself as he picked up the stone, it was better he hold onto it instead of-

"RRRRAAAAAGH" He roared as he felt the stone attempt to overpower him. No… it was something deeper… something more…
He felt the raw emotions try to overcome him, tear him down and rebuild him! He fought against it as his mind processed what it was trying to do. His hand had become numb from the power coursing through his veins. His soul. He felt his blood still, his heart started to slow.
The stone was changing him. It was overwriting him!
Gritting his teeth, Arlic dug deep as his mind raced for solutions. He couldn't die! Not here! Not now! He needed the stone to stop the invasion! Fight back these Lantern wannabes and save his home, no, his very species from certain destruction!
"NO" Arlic growled through his grit teeth as he called upon the remains of his power. But no matter how much he called, the stone kept fighting and he responded with all he could do, drawing upon even more reserves. Every. Last. Drop.
But it wasn't enough. He felt himself start to fade, his heart started slowing down to a crawl as his blood started freezing in his veins. Arlic started to fall to his knees, his body started giving out as his head lurched back.
Staring to the skies rife with the war that was encompassing Planet Sadala, Arlic's eyes saw past them. He saw past it all and focused on one thing.
The barrier that covered the moon.
SNAP
He felt a snap, a blood curdling roar echoed within as what felt like a dam had been destroyed and more reserves surged forth, filling him with a feral energy as a green colored aura surged around his form, fighting back, nay beating back the blood colored aura that the stone was emitting and he released a roar that shook the world.
Vexan grit her teeth as her hard-light spear crashed against the ki-covered fists of Okram. Moving at high speeds, Blue and Yellow trails were the only indicators of their movements as they leapt around the area, crashing into each other before leaping away and crashing again. The battle they had waged had destroyed the building and surrounding blocks leaving a path of destruction in their wake.
With another explosion of power they were sent away from each other, feet digging trenches into the streets as they came to a stop. Vexan snarled at her opponent as she watched him crack his knuckles and neck. Clenching her fist, she mumbled a battery check from her ring.
-{Power Levels: 37.3%}-
Gritting her teeth, Vexan's mind started racing to find solutions to the situation at hand. At the rate this battle was going, her ring was going to run out of charge before she could kill him. Even if she did, she would be practically useless with what little she no doubt would have left.
-{Power Levels: 37%}-
'What?!' She shouted internally, her eyes widening as she looked to her ring in disbelief.
"Ring status report!" She barked as she clenched her fist and shot up to the sky, dodging a blast from Okram before he flew into the sky to pursue her.
-{Power Levels Being Artificially Depleted}-
-{Power Levels: 36.7%}-
'How?! What could drain a ring artificially?!' She panicked before her eyes widened and she threw up a hard-light barrier to block an incoming attack in front of her.
She watched in disbelief as her barrier was shattered instantly as a mechanical arm tore through it and punched her, folding her over. She felt the metal flexing before being sent flying away.
-{Power Levels: 35%}-
Coming to a stop meters away, Vexan struggled to catch her breath as she examined the new opponent.
Blood red saiyan armor with blue accents protected a steel gray body. The head was covered with red armor with the exception of its gray face that was reminiscent of a Saiyan's own.
"No Lantern Escapes New Moon" Were it's only words before it launched toward her ferociously.
He came to a stop as he floated in space. Taking a deep breath of the filtered air, he addressed the closest person, his friend.
"What's going on?" He asked hoping for clarification on the order he got. It's been awhile since he received such vague orders. He saw his friends narrowed eyes and his own narrowed in response. The tensed form of his friend as his own green eyes never left the planet as he addressed him didn't help either.
"The Guardians aren't sure, but they're saying that the balance of the Emotional Spectrum has started fluctuating… changing." His friend commented as his eyes turned to lock with his own now confused ones.
"Our orders are to discover and observe the source of this… disturbance." His friend's stony voice caused him to do doubletake, he was usually cold, but it was never this bad. What was going on?
"I… I take it the source is the planet below?" He asked as he turned his gaze to the others nearby before turning back to see his friend nod.
"Correct, we've narrowed it down to Planet Sadala." His eyes widened as his eyes snapped to the world in question that floated below them.
"The Saiyan homeworld? What're the Saiyans doing to cause a fluctuation in the Emotional Spectrum?" What?! The Saiyans were never really a serious threat to the Lanterns… but are they now?
"The Saiyans aren't doing anything except defending against an invasion."
"An invasion?" The Saiyans are being invaded…? The last time they were invaded, the Planet Trade Organization gained a massive boost in power.
"Correct, a new Lantern Corps has been formed and is making a statement by attacking the Saiyan homeworld." His friend continued, raising his ring hand and catching a ring before it flew past them. Holding it up for the both of them to observe, they examined it as he felt his heart stop at what it was.
"A Yellow ring? How peculiar. Abin Sur, take this to the Guardians for them to examine, we need to be prepared if this new Corps decides to attack us as well." His friend ordered, handing the ring to him before turning back to the planet below before he continued to watch the flashes of energy and hard light appear and disappear on the world below.
"Right, I'll be back as soon as I can, Sinestro!" He spoke as he turned and launched himself in the direction of OA.
When his friend was gone, Sinestro allowed a smirk to cross his face as he watched his Corps' first test continue.
"Now. What are you capable of, my Yellow Lanterns?" His smirk widened as his mind continued to race with the possibilities of leading his own Corps of Lanterns.
What… What is this? He questioned as he saw visions pass him by, planets destroyed, colored rings, a laughing demon and a golden hero that resembled h-
Bardock awoke in a cold sweat, his mind racing as he stumbled to his feet and looked around in confusion.
What… What was that? That.. vision? Vision. What did it mean? Looking around his eyes caught sight of the Kanassan he killed before he saw that the fighting had escalated again.
Snarling, Bardock decided he could think on it later, now he had to reach the launch pads and make sure Gine and Kakarot got offworld.
With a grunt his aura enveloped him before he shot to the skies.
"OUT OF MY WAY!" Bardock roared as a group of Lanterns appeared in front of him. Ducking under a hard light attack, he smashed his arm through the lead Lantern, arm tearing through hard light and flesh as if it was paper without losing pace as he continued his flight as the Lanterns started their assault.
Swerving around a construct he didn't see, Bardock launched a ki blast that disintegrated his attacker. He swung a fist at another-
A burning capital filled his vision, warriors of fear clashed against the moon's chosen.

A man of green smiled in satisfaction as he watched the destruction he wrought.
Dizzying images filled his head before he turned to the next Lantern stopping him from reuniting with his family. Snarling at him, Bardock flew towards him as the Lantern backpedaled, fear filling his visage before Bardock tore through him.
Looking around, Bardock watched the bodies fall to the ground, rings shooting to the skies confirming the deaths before resum-
A pallid monster laughing as he enjoyed the conflicts before him.
Hand shooting up to his forehead, Bardock fought the migraine these… visions… were giving him. Opening his fingers to see the source of where light that seeped between his fingers was coming from, he saw a yellow ring floating in front of him.
