Well hello! Here is a new chapter of Naruko's secret-fanfiction. This chapter was inspired by the Rose of Versailles-anime, and the Zodiac.P.I.-manga, whose rights I do not own. See you in the next chapter.
"Or a place beginning with the letter B, where would Jiraiya-sama have ever been?" Sakura asked remembering the text of the message Sasuke had read earlier.
After getting out of the inn's linen closet, Sasuke, and Sakura had heard that Naruko had checked out of the inn, and having left the inn a couple of hours earlier.
"Strange, that we didn't see Naruko in that inn, or remember anything 2, from the events of the previous day," Sakura said.
"If you don't come up with anything, then go back to Konoha," Sasuke said, as he walked with Sakura down the street of Tsuki no Kuni. "I guess you have to do everything yourself."
"Naruko told me at one point that, that when Naruko traveled with Jiraiya-sama for two years, so Jiraiya-sama spent his free time in various places, as a result of which Naruko's training-seemed to be delayed at times, and it was said to be the result of, that Jiraiya-saman wrote his books during their training-journey. And do you have to be so rude?" Sakura asked irritated.
"It, the thing I suggested to you earlier was probably not the best option, for as a result we are now in this situation. What kind of places did Jiraiya spend his time teaching Naruko? Did Naruko tell you that?" Sasuke asked.
"They say those places were bars, spas, and brothels," Sakura said after remembering that matter.
(Flashback)
Naruko was sitting with Sakura in a cafe, and Naruko's right hand was in a cast from the recent fight against Kakuzu, as Futon Rasenshuriken's use had damaged Naruko's right hand.
"What else did Jiraiya-sama do while training you?" Sakura asked.
"Wrote his silly books hanging out in bars, spas, and spying in brothels, and hanging out with women. It felt like it was delaying my training at times," Naruko said.
(End of the flashback)
"I first explored the bars of Tsuki no Kuni," Sasuke said. "You stay there, and think about other options".
"Don't command," Sakura said, and looked at the moon in the sky.
(An hour later)
"Nothing was found in the bars," Sasuke said, as he reached the center of town. "You should go to a brothel".
"Are you sure?!" Sakura asked in shock.
"You clearly haven't come up with another option," Sasuke studied the map of the city. "Apparently, a brothel is right near here".
Sasuke put what he just bought, Tsuki no Kuni's map in his pocket, and then walked with Sakura on the right.
Finally they came to a brothel, where there were different women, and customers.
The brothel was dimly lit, and in front of some of the windows there were curtains, and here, and there was the smell of alcohol, and cigarette smoke.
The floor was a brown wooden floor, and the inner walls were white like the outer walls, and the roof was brown.
"Could Dobe be hiding in a brothel?" Sasuke thought. He went to talk to a male employee:
"Has a woman been seen here, with blond hair, and blue eyes?"
"Upstairs in room 29 is a woman like that," Male said.
Sasuke, and Sakura walked in that direction, and Sasuke knocked on the door of that room.
"In!" From behind the door came a woman's answer, and Sasuke opened the door to see a green yukata clad, tall, skinny woman, who had light skin, long, blonde hair, and light blue eyes:
"You're welcome. Only 300 dollars per night time, and advance payment please".
The woman was sitting on the chair in front of the bed.
The floor was a brown wooden floor, the walls were white, and one window was a little dirty, and there were whites in the bed, and gray blankets, and sheets. Behind the bed in the room was a cupboard, and gray dressing-sermi.
"That's not Naruko," Sasuke muttered indignantly. "There's a prostitute over there, who just looks like Naruko".
"Only 300 dollar for the night, advance payment please. Advance payment please," The woman said.
"That woman is blind, but otherwise the resemblance of that woman, and Narukon is surprising," Sakura said in disbelief, and after realizing that the woman in the room was blind. "Maybe Naruko has left the next letter in that woman's room".
"We are not your customers, but we would like to examine your room in case, that we find a letter in your room, which is written for us," Sakura said walking in front of the woman.
"Okay," Woman said.
Sasuke, and Sakura explore the woman's room, and finally Sasuke found a note with the letter V under the mattress in the woman's bed, and a new message was written on the back of the note:
"The following letter can be found in a building in the center of the city, with hot water, and has a picture of a mountain. what is the place, where people go to wash during that time, when they are not at home? Hurry up! And I've already paid Midori that, that you explore Midori's room while visiting the brothel while in Midori's room, so you don't have to pay Midori. I paid Midori for it, that I was allowed to hide this paper in Midori's room".
Sasuke, and Sakura left the brothel.
"Unbelievable, that I assumed Naruko was hiding in a brothel," Sasuke muttered indignantly. "Naruko wouldn't lower herself to a prostitute, who would hide from us in a brothel".
"Yes. The next paper will probably be at the spa, because I don't think that paper is in any hotel," Sakura went to a nearby spa, and spoke to the employee in the lobby:
"Does your spa have a picture of a mountain?"
"The mountain? It is," The employee of the spa said.
"Where is it?" Sakura asked.
"On the men's laundry-side, but there are customers there now," The worker said, pointing to the left.
"Men's washing-side?!" Sakura thought in disbelief. "Hold on! The cleaners can visit the washrooms, when there are customers".
Sakura disguised herself as a spa cleaner, and went in the direction indicated by the spa employee.
"Sorry to disturb you!" Sakura shouted, starting to sweep the floor with the mop. "Why does the clue have to be in a place like this?!"
There were men sitting in a nearby hot spring pool, and some men sat on stools at the sides washing their hair. There were only towels on their hips, and on the washing racks in front of them were various washing- accessories.
Suddenly, Sakura bumped into a man walking in front of her, and accidentally dropped that man's towel on the floor to the entire lower body of the man standing in front of him, causing Sakura to blush in embarrassment, and Sakura's nose began to bleed:
"CAN NOT BE TRUE!"
"Thank you for the good work, because that's how the place stays clean," The man said, picking up his towel, and tied it back on his hip.
"So you can quickly leave here, then I might repeat the recent collision!" Sakura thought in embarrassment, shaking at the same time:
"You're welcome".
Finally, Sakura stopped in front of a mountain painting on one of the walls, and looked at that painting to see the paper taped to it, which Sakura took, and left the spa:
"I found another letter".
"What is it?" Sasuke asked. "And why are you dressed as a cleaner?"
"The second letter was on the men's wash-side. I accidentally dropped a towel on a man's hip on the floor after bumping into him. Besides that towel, the man had no other clothes on. If it had been revealed, that I wasn't a real employee of the spa, then I would have found myself in a difficult situation".
"It would have been all right for you, when you didn't consider it, that there were customers in the spa now," Sasuke said.
"The second letter is I. Just two letters, but they're still not enough to figure out the word," Sakura said after returning the cleaner's clothes to the spa.
Next, Sakura read the clue:
"The following letter can be found in the grounds of Tsuki no Kuni's palace. What place is necessary for the unnecessary? Hurry up".
"Unnecessary is trash. It might be the waste collection point of the palace," Sasuke said.
(Later)
Sasuke, and Sakura investigate the waste collection point of the palace, until they found a broken cabinet with a paper with the letter H taped to it.
"The penultimate letter has been found. What might be the next clue?" Sakura read the paper:
"The last letter is hidden in a place, where there is money, and has dice cubes. Do your best".
"Money, and dice? Casino?!" Sakura shouted in disbelief.
Sasuke, and Sakura went to the casino.
"To a place like this!" Sasuke thought, until Sasuke saw a piece of paper taped to a slot machine, which had Konoha's emblem on it, and the ?-mark.
Sasuke took the paper, and read it to see those pasted therein, 3 matches, and I joined, loose match, and read the writing on the paper:
"Form the last letter from the number 4 of the matches by moving the position of the loose match".
"Or by moving one line? This is really tricky!" Sakura yelled as she couldn't think of the appropriate letter.
As a result, everyone looked at Sakura, who blushed in embarrassment.
Then everyone started whispering about Sakura:
"Do you have to shout so loud?"
"A very loud woman".
"Sorry," Sakura apologized.
The casino had white interior walls, and brown wooden floors, and there were gaming tables here and there, and some gaming tables had roulettes.
At some gaming tables sat men, and women playing cards.
There were gaming machines, by which people were sitting on the chairs, who used gaming machines.
There was alcohol in the casino, and tobacco smells.
"The explanation can be simple sometimes," Sasuke moved the loose match to the one on the paper, 4 on top of the number, and about that, became the letter A:
"It's A. When all four letters are read in order, we get the word:
HATE. Or hate?"
"Naruko put her friend through a little test. Heh heh!" Tsunade laughed in her study after reading the message the messenger bird had just brought to Tsunade, where Naruko told Tsunade about the punishment, that Naruko had given to Sakura, and to Sasuke.
What made the situation amusing was that Tsunade could imagine Sasuke, and Sakura's expressions, when they found the locations of Tsuki no Kuni, where Naruko had hidden the messages.
