Amy looked around the apartment at her friends on her first night back in California. "Thank you, everyone, for coming over to welcome me home, but I've been driving for three days and am exhausted. Can we catch up tomorrow?"

"Of course," Bernadette motioned for Howard to follow her out the door with Raj close behind.

Leonard made his way across the hall since he and Penny had officially moved into 4B when they heard Amy was returning and would be living with Sheldon. "Ames," Penny approached her best friend who was clearing the leftovers from the coffee table. Noting Sheldon was busy in the kitchen, she whispered, "While I'm sure Sheldon might like to get back at me and Leonard for being loud at times and I want you to enjoy yourself, keep in mind that these walls are thinner than you think."

"Penny!" Her head shot up with her eyes wide, looking at her boyfriend across the apartment to check if he'd heard Penny's comment. "I don't know that we're going to do anything tonight, but I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I'd appreciate the same respect from you."

"I make no guarantees," smirked the blonde before letting herself out.

Sheldon abandoned his chores in the kitchen when he noticed he and Amy were alone for the first time in their apartment. "You can head to bed. I'll be there in a little while after I finish cleaning up."

"I lied to them," admitted Amy. "I was ready for us to be alone for our first night living together. I'll be fine for a few hours until bedtime."

"Oh." He picked up his laptop from his desk and sat in his spot at the end of the couch, "Amy, can we talk?" He waited for Amy to join him before opening his laptop. "With us living together, I'd like to update the relationship agreement to reflect that if you're open to it?"

She shifted closer to him, "Of course. I was expecting you to suggest that before I got here."

"No. This is something I want us to go over together, in person. I jotted down some notes over the past few weeks as I thought of things, but I haven't added anything to the relationship agreement. We can go over my ideas and you can share anything you'd like added. I'll update the official document and we can sign it tomorrow."

"Okay," she inched closer to him to get a view of the computer screen. "What have you come up with?"

Sheldon swiftly opened the document he'd been preparing over the past several weeks. "Item one. Date night will be every Thursday at seven pm. We can decide each week what we want that to be: dinner and a movie, a quiet evening in, or something else. Regardless of what we're doing, it's just the two of us together." Amy didn't say anything, but she smiled and nodded, encouraging Sheldon to continue. "Item two. I get you flowers once a month. This apartment is full of superheroes and my things. I want you to feel like this is your home, too, and I'm going to do that by getting you flowers regularly."

"I want you to get me flowers because you want to, Sheldon, not because the relationship agreement says you have to. I love this apartment and I'm sure we'll find a way to incorporate the things I like."

"Okay, if you insist. Three. We split the household chores such as cooking and cleaning. I'll continue doing my laundry on Saturday nights. We can discuss adding your laundry to my schedule."

"Or," Amy smirked, "I can keep my Saturday nights free and join you in the laundry room with my dirty clothes."

Sheldon's head snapped to his right at his girlfriend's suggestion. "Vixen. You're distracting me. The last thing I have is I want to prioritize us. I watched my parents' marriage fall apart because they didn't make time for one another. I almost lost you forever because I didn't let you know how much you mean to me. You need to tell me if I'm slipping up on something and don't realize it."

"Sheldon," Amy sighed, taking his hand in hers. "We're not you're parents. I don't think we'll need it, but you can add that."

"Thank you. That's all I had on my list. Is there anything you'd like to add? As you know, this is a living document and either party may request updates at any time."

Pausing for a moment, Amy twisted her body to face Sheldon as she spoke. "We've both said that we're in this forever. Can we put that in the relationship agreement? I'd love to marry you someday, but I know you need time for something like that. I'll be okay if that never happens for us, but I'd like us to have a reminder in writing. I'd like to have something we can hold one another accountable to when we have those tough moments that every couple has. This kind of goes with your item to prioritize us. You can decide how to include it in the relationship agreement."

"Can you give me a minute?" Sheldon abruptly pushed his computer onto the coffee table and stood. He took two steps before turning back and quickly kissed Amy before rushing down the hallway to his bedroom. He returned and pushed the coffee table away from the couch before taking his seat once again. "Two years ago tomorrow, I was working up the nerve to ask you something on our fifth anniversary, but asked about The Flash instead. Amy Farrah Fowler," he said before dropping to his knee and opening the jewelry box he'd retrieved from his room, "Will you marry me?"

"Yes," Amy whispered as she reached out and pulled Sheldon's face to her. He shakily slipped the ring on her finger as they kissed. Sheldon rose from his knee to join Amy on the couch once again. "I guess you're going to need to add a section to the relationship agreement that covers our engagement."

Amy's home & that's the end of the story! Thanks to everyone who was able to follow along, despite the notifications not working.

I have an idea for my next story but it's going to take a while for me to research and put together even a rough outline before I'm able to start writing. I've started on the research, I'm just not sure how long it's going to take me to put it together into a story and I hate rushing my writing. Plus, with the notifications not working, I'm not in a big rush since I feel not many people are seeing updates right now.
