Chapter 3: Phantom In Japan Part II
While Danny was in Japan, his friends and sister were all enjoying their long weekend in their own ways and yet all of them wonder how he's doing.
Jasmine Fenton was now in the living room, reading another of her psychology books. It's been almost half an hour since Danny left for Japan, under Clockwork's orders.
"I sure hope that he's doing okay..."She thought in concern for her little brother.
She sighed quietly as she knew that Danny is tough and that he'd be okay.
"With any luck, he'll at least have some fun there..."She thought, a little more optimistically as she kept reading.
Plus, it was kinda cool that her brother actually got to go to Japan, even if it was for superhero stuff.
"I wish I could have gone..."She thought, since Japan is a very interesting place.
More so than Amity Park, when there ISN'T a ghost attack.
With Sam and Tucker
The goth girl and the techno geek, while in separate places, were both thinking about Danny.
However, both were bummed for different reasons.
While Tucker and his parents were at a rest stop, the tech geek was deep in thought, since he still wanted to have gone with his friend to Japan.
"So wish that I went with him. Japan's technology is way beyond what we got right now, but my folks wouldn't let me out of their sight..."Tucker thought , somewhat bitterly, but smiled when he thought of a certain girl in red.
"Plus, Sailor Mars was hot..."He thought fondly, smiling at the idea of meeting her. "Though, that Sailor Moon girl was cute too..."He admitted, smiling.
"Plus, I bet one of those hotties would be all over me..."He mused as he thought about those Sailor Guardians with interest, envying his friend for all the hot girls that he's about to surround himself with.
Still, he doubt that Danny would attract all five of them.
"If Danny ends up making some new friends, maybe I can get a chance to meet with one of them..."He thought, eager for a chance to score a date.
Meanwhile, Sam, who was still stuck with her parents and grandmother at a fancy spa, was irritated as she didn't want to be here.
"This is so dull. I should be with Danny right now..."The goth girl thought bitterly
She just hoped that Danny handles whatever trouble he will be facing in Japan and come back home...preferably without those Sailor girls around.
Or any girl for that matter.
Meanwhile
With Danny
The ghostly boy was now in Japan. He smiled as he surveyed the area.
"I gotta admit, this is cool..."He thought, realizing he's having an adventure out of town and country, away from his parents, Vlad's spying and his other foes.
All the while, Dash and the other A-Listers were probably wasting time by harassing the other kids, while he is here, on the other side of the planet.
"May as well take advantage of the situation..."He thought as he decided to look around.
He had to admit, a part of him was excited to be here but he remembered that he is here for a reason.
He has to find those Sailor Guardians and deal with this new enemy, and then head back home before his parents come back. He didn't have time to mess around too long... though he wasn't in too much of a hurry either.
"Now, let's find out where they are..."He muttered as he went walking.
All the while, he hoped that everything was fine back at home and he could only hope his folks weren't causing too much trouble on their trip.
Meanwhile
Back in America
Jack and Maddie Fenton were at some hotel, several miles away from Amity Park.
They, unaware of what was going on with their children, were still up, scoping the reportedly haunted hotel.
"No activity yet, Jack..."Maddie said as she held one of their tracking devices in her hands.
"Well, you'll never know if the ghosts are getting smart enough to work around the system..."Jack said as he pulled out a blaster.
He was ready to blast any ghosts who made any of the guest's time here awful.
"I just hope the kids are okay by themselves..."Maddie said.
"Oh, I'm sure Danny and Jazz are at home, safe and sound..."Jack waved off before aiming his blaster down a hall, mistaking a curtain being blown by the wind for a ghost.
Maddie nodded as they went back to ghost hunting, unaware that the other guests were more afraid of them than the ghosts.
Back in Japan
With Danny
The ghost boy began walking and observing his surroundings.
He saw that he was on a somewhat busy street, with people shopping, getting food and talking amongst themselves.
He looked around and saw a few of the local shops selling a bunch of stuff.
"I should get a souvenir later..."He thought, wanting to remember this adventure... but first, he needed to start the adventure.
He had to find those Sailor Guardians and get home, but he didn't know where to start looking.
"Okay, Clockwork said that they fought evil here in Juban... but where to start?..."He thought as he pondered. "Maybe I should look for them as Danny Phantom?..."He considered.
However, as he planned, he barely looked where he was going.
Unfortunately, as he turned the corner, he bumped into someone, sending them both to the ground and the sound of someone yelling was heard.
Danny, now on the ground and since his eyes were closed, didn't see who he walked into yet.
"Oh man, sorry, I-..."Danny's eyes opened and stopped when he finally saw who it was that he bumped into it.
It was a group of some older boys and one of them was now on the ground, clenching his leg. He also saw that they didn't look to be very friendly, given their expressions.
"BAKA! Anata wa watashi no ashi o kossetsu shita! Anata no nani ga mondaina no?!..."The guy on the ground shouted in Japanese.
Danny didn't know what he said, since he didn't put on the necklace that Clockwork had given him yet but he didn't have a good feeling about this, especially as the guy's buddies approached him.
"S-Sorry!..."Danny said nervously as the other two guys had nasty looks on their faces.
"Ā, anata wa eigo o hanashimasu ne?!..."One of the thugs said in a mocking manner.
"Sate, anata wa imanani o suru tsumoridesu ka? Kore ni dono yō ni okane o harau tsumoridesu ka?!..."He demanded as they blocked most of his surroundings so that they wouldn't let him get away.
"Tabun anata no chūshoku no okane wa jūbundeshou!..."The other one said in a threatening manner, but Danny still didn't understand since he didn't speak Japanese.
"Hey, I don't know what you said, but it was an accident!..."Danny said, not liking where this is going.
He had a feeling that these guys wanted an excuse to cause trouble. He tried to think of a way to run from them and then go invisible. However, someone saw this and decided to speak up.
"Ima, anata-tachi wa kankōkyaku o ijimete imasu ne? Nante kawaisōna!..."A feminine voice said in perfect Japanese.
Danny and the thugs turned around and saw who it was.
"Huh?..."He let out in confusion.
Danny blinked when he saw that it was a girl...and she looked mad about something.
