Prologue
A first step towards death
In an unknown place in the world, a young woman with platinum hair, alone, wrapped in a white sheet over her entire body, is thinking about the future. The Witch of Vainglory, Pandora, begins to prepare her authority to give new instruction to the Archbishops of Sins of the Witch's Cult.
Pandora: « Natsuki Subaru will be inexplicably hated by everyone, even though he has done nothing to deserve such a fate. »
She had had difficulty giving this order to the world, but she absolutely had to watch what would happen with this new modification. Now Pandora only had to wait two years before the young man was summoned into her world.
Pandora: « I will always keep our promise, even after millions of worlds. »
The Archbishops were tasked with spreading terror and claiming that it was all because of Natsuki Subaru. The villagers who managed to escape spread rumors about this young boy. As the months passed, the guards became more determined to find the monster. The Archbishop of Sloth had voluntarily given a detailed description of the appearance of the young man, some sketches had been made by artists and their drawings were exhibited in many towns of Lugnica .
Ultimately, the villagers carried out persecution, even acts of violence, against anyone with a similar resemblance to the Witch Cult's monster. Natsuki Subaru, the monster, aroused enormously more hatred than the half-elves.
Subaru: « Would I have been summoned to a parallel world?!" »
Let me tell you the story of Natsuki Subaru. A despised monster of the world, one who is seen as the representative of the Witch Cult. Does he long to sink into darkness, transforming into this creature so feared and rejected, or does he have the ability to positively change the appearance of this world?
After saying these words, many residents began to look at him with hostility. From what he noticed, he had just arrived and oddly enough, drawing too much attention wasn't a good idea.
Little girl: « Mom! He's the Cult Monster! »
Villager: « It looks exactly the same as on the poster!" This guy is a fucking Cultist! »
He could clearly hear the voices of the villagers around him, which were aimed directly at him. No one saw him as a normal person, it was something he hated. Didn't he deserve to be the future hero of this world?
Subaru: « Hey, I think you've got the wrong person, I'm not a follower of any cult. I'm Natsuki Subaru! Eternally broke and ignorant, I mean you no harm. »
The friendly tone he adopted in his presentation led to an outcome opposite to what he had anticipated. All members of the village community were now driven by anger, to the point of wanting to engage in combat against him. Unless he flees quickly, he may die right here.
Villagers: « CALL THE GUARD!" »
Natsuki Subaru, absolutely not ready to fight against the guard, quickly fled, even pushing the villagers who only wanted harm to him. The majority did not want to do anything, for fear of being killed by the monster before their eyes. As he moved forward, a thug his age appeared in front of him, holding two blades in his hands.
Rachins (Chin): « Die, you dirty cultist. Even I, a thief, wouldn't allow a guy like you to hang around the capital! »
Subaru: « Idiot, I'm not part of a cult!" How many times should I tell you! »
The thief approaches him closer and closer, unable to find a solution, he turns around and runs as quickly as possible, but the villagers catch up with him and knock him to the ground. Subaru was hit several times. It was real torture. Some tried to tear his skin with their nails, while others cut his skin gradually.
Villagers: « Die in hell!" »
Child: « My father died because of you, Monster! »
Am I really going to die like this? It's not possible, my dream of a new world is running out too quickly. For what ? WHY AM I NOT THE FUCKING HERO I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE! KILL ME QUICKER, I'M IN SO PAIN! MOM, DAD, I WANT TO COME HOME PLEASE, FUCKING SHIT!
Subaru's eyes are filled with tears. He didn't do anything anymore, just waiting for the end. He will have really ruined everything in his life. Even after starting again, he's a nobody. His parents didn't deserve such a lazy son, who spent his day watching anime and playing video games.
Natsuki Subaru took his last breath.
