Inkaliber: Welcome back, everyone! As the title of the chapter suggests, the real action is about to be underway! It's time to hit the road and take care of the Tenkaichi tournament! The combat won't exactly begin just yet but there are definitely surprises in store here. Is everyone ready?

Zemrocku: Did someone say surprises? I love surprises.

Inkaliber: Yup, though they're more surprises for the readers than surprises for us. It'll still be fun to see how they react to them, however.

Zemrocku: Hmm. Then I guess I need to find my own surprise. Hmm? What's this level do?

Inkaliber: I'm glad you asked. YO WADE!

Deadpool: Deadpool gasp! You're actually calling me!?

Inkaliber: Stand on this specifically marked spot and I'll make Chimichangas.

Deadpool: DEAL!

Inkaliber: Now, read this for me.

Deadpool: Okay! 'PULL THE LEVER KRONK!'... WAIT! The last time someone told me to do this I died several times.

STATUE SLAM!

Inkaliber: It drops a statue of Toriyama with Goku. What do you think?

Zemrocku: I love it and we took out a Deadpool for a few minutes.

Deadpool: Still alive but in great pain. Love the statue.

Inkaliber: Thanks. Anyway, let's look at reviews. Once again my boy Fregreg clutching up as the sole reviewer.

Fregreg- I'm glad you liked it man! I figured it would be fun to give a sneak peek at the Nemekians and also give them a connection to the Saiyans. It also just made sense since Super introduced Nemekians as the historians of the universe.

Zemrocku: Fregreg is the Goat for leaving reviews.

Inkaliber: He sure is. Now, time to start! We don't own Dragon Ball in any form. That exclusive right goes to Akira Toriyama himself, rip. We do own original characters, locations, and concepts unless stated otherwise.

May 6th, Age 750, Kame House

A loud roar filled the air, a nearly complete moon floating high in the air. A massive foot slammed on the forest floor, a massive ape with black fur, a long tail, and red eyes pounded her pink spandex clad chest. The beast stomped as it looked around, predators of different shapes and sizes running from it. The beast actually giggled like a little girl, flexing its arms childishly as if trying to show off. The creature then turned to see Krillin standing on the cliff by Kame House, pointing to itself.

"Full control!" cried the creature in a deep feminine voice. "I can't wait to tell 'Ditz! This is so cool! Now I just gotta make this work in the day and I'll be the best Saiyan aside from Yamoshi himself!" Krillin chuckled at Keira's excitement, nodding his head.

"Knew you could do it, Babe!" cried the striped boy. "Just maybe shrink back before you come back! Don't wanna scare the entire island with something that wasn't there before! I brought in a nice big hunk of meat you can cook for breakfast!" The massive ape grinned at this, jumping as she shook the entire island.

As she grew closer, her body and the hair upon it began to shrink in size. Keira landed on the ledge without a scratch on her, her recently freed tail wagging as she giggled. She practically skipped towards her mate, her exaggerated movements catching his gaze rather easily. 'She's doing that on purpose.' The girl stopped before him, her hands held behind her back.

"So, whatcha think?" questioned the girl in her normal voice. "I could do this in the daylight in a few more months, maybe sooner." Krillin scratched the back of his head, giggling at the suggestion.

"I think you should maybe slow down and focus on getting ready for the tournament. Also, I'm pretty sure I've asked you a few times now to wear something more too and from our little spot. Call me possessive all you want but I don't like the idea of other guys getting a look at what's mine." He gritted his teeth as her tail wrapped around his, the sensation driving him crazy. Keira leaned towards him, a cheeky grin on her face.

"I'll think about it. For the record, I love it when you're possessive." She rubbed against the boy, a low growl of pleasure escaping his throat. "You like that?" She gasped as she was picked up, Krillin hoisting her over his shoulder.

"If we weren't leaving today I'd give you the answer. Make breakfast before Master wakes up or else we'll have to eat boring airline food." Keira giggled, her tail wagging by the boy's head.

"Feisty like a kitty. I love it~." The next thing she knew, she was moving fast as lightning in the kitchen. She wore the exercise clothes she bought months ago over her spandex, having recently grown annoyed with Master Roshi whenever he would make the same comments over and over about her figure. While it served to make Krillin even more possessive at first, the fact the Master was continuously challenging her mate's claim annoyed her as he didn't try to fight for her.

She heard a yawn as Launch made her way downstairs, the teen's forehead clear of any markings as her skin had gone completely to hot pink. Launch scratched her back before stretching, her back bending further than what was possible for a human. The tiefling hummed as she took a deep breath, licking her lips.

"Now that is the smell of a very happy monkey girl's cooking," giggled the green haired girl. "I guess that means you finally did it." Keira nodded her head, her tail wagging.

"UH HUH! It was so cool!" Launch rubbed the Saiyan atop her head, messing up her already messy hair.

"Well I'm happy for you." She then squatted down, her face right beside Keira's ear. "I also know that other smell at this point. You better keep that mating drive on the downlow in the tournament or I'll invest in a chastity belt if I have to." Keira tilted her head, her eyes narrowing.

"I don't think I like the sound of that. What's a 'Chase City' belt?" Krillin blushed as Launch stood up, the green haired teen having her hands behind her back.

"It's like panties, only it's metal and can only be taken off with a key that only I have. I'll even find a metal you can't tear off and use that handy little fabrication gun if I have to. Behave in the tournament, or I'll make you pay." Keira's tail drooped as she gulped, her eyes being wide. Krillin huffed with wide eyes, his cheek in his palm.

"Not that I don't appreciate you helping her keep her head in the game, but you know breakfast is tied to her emotions," reminded the no-nose teen. "Maybe you could have waited until after she was done." Launch turned around, her dangerous smile on her face.

"I could have, but you two get into your little games so often. I figured it would be better to intervene now before it's too late. Master Roshi will tell me EVERYTHING when you three get back. So there better not be any hanky-panky in the ring or anything that'll have you two banned from the tourney, understood?" Keira moaned in defeat, her head drooping.

"You better not be messing up that breakfast in there!" cried the voice of Master Roshi from upstairs. "I haven't smelled beef that good since when I was a lad!" Launch made a pistol appear in her hand, bowing to the duo respectfully.

"Excuse me." She made her way upstairs, Krillin looking away as he clicked his teeth. The sound of their master screaming as gunshots went off caught the tailed teens' attention, making them wince as the sounds grew louder. "I'M TRYING TO KEEP YOUR DAMN STUDENTS FROM FOOLING AROUND IN THE RING! SHUT YOUR TRAP, MUTEN!"

Launch made her way downstairs again, groaning as she ran her hands through her hair. "I swear he was much more fun when he had a full head of hair. Now he's just a crazy old coot. I can't even think of getting laid by him now. If he'd behave I might not mind it." Keira piped up, a mischievous grin on her face.

"'Ditz could use a mate!" cried the monkey girl. "He's gotta be so lonely out in space." Launch looked towards the Saiyan, her eyes narrowing.

"I'm well over five thousand years old, Keira. He's like a baby for me." The tailed girl didn't give up as she pointed towards the ceiling.

"Well age didn't stop you with Master Roshi if I'm hearing you right. Besides, Ditz is probably stronger than I am." Launch looked away, a blush on her face.

"He had skill, a LOT of it, and he didn't lie about what he wanted. It's hard to say no when the guy you bed with isn't lying like all the other trash in the universe. Besides, bedding Roshi is better than bedding a demon. A demon would only use me for personal gain." Keira giggled, flipping a large piece of steak.

"Well I know Ditz well enough to know he can be VERY straightforward. He wouldn't lie in the bad ways." The demoness sighed at this, rolling her eyes.

"Kid, you only know him from your little memories and those calls. You haven't seen his personal life. I've been with a few Saiyans in the past and they're just as capable of lying as any other species out there. I can't just say yes, even when the person being pimped out to me isn't even here." Keira narrowed her eyes, only for Master Roshi to come down out of short breath.

"W-what did I miss?" questioned the old man. "Is it ready yet? Are ya in that nice little spandex suit?" Launch's hair began to stand, the demoness growling as a vein popped up on her head. Krillin rolled his eyes, standing up from his seat.

"I think I know what's coming next," sighed the monk. "When you're finished, Keira, we'll eat outside until this blows over. Let's just hope the master's in one piece when we go to leave." The saiyan nodded her head, rapidly slamming steaks on plates before she and Krillin made their way outside. Launch turned on her heels, cracking her knuckles.

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON, OLD MAN!? Even an old bag like me knows how to behave! Let's see if the lesson sticks this time!" Roshi actively screamed as he ran up the steps, Launch matching his speed as she chased after him. Kame House actually jumped and bounced around as the sound of a brawl came from inside.

Almost an hour later, Roshi was standing outside with a swollen cheek and an ice pack on top of his head. His outfit hid more bruises, though he kept a strong face up for his students. The old man nodded his head, the duo standing tall and firm.

"Okay, you two. You may drop the shells. We'll see just how strong you've become." The duo moved their tails out of the way as the shells dropped to the ground, cracks being left in the stone. "Start with a standing jump."

The tailed duo crouched down before leaping into the air, Keira reaching twice Krillin's jumping height in a single bound before the boy waved his arms to rise up a bit higher. The duo then fell towards the ground, Krillin's landing making a bigger crack than Keira's. The boy looked towards his mate before looking at the ground.

'How did she go higher but make no crater?' thought Krillin. 'Am I… am I heavier than her?' Roshi hummed, stroking his beard.

"Good landing, Keira. While you tend to be the heavier of the two of you, your dexterity seems to be higher than Krillin's. It's likely because of your years of parkour in Mount Paozu. Still, that was an impressive indent by Krillin." Keira tilted her head, her brows knitting together.

"Um, what's 'Park Or' and 'Dexter Itty'? I've never heard those words before." Krillin rolled his eyes, a smirk on his face.

"Parkour, Keira, is basically your ability to move around places with acrobatics or athletics," explained the striped boy. "Think of it like climbing trees and jumping from high places. Dexterity is how good you are with your hand to eye movements. Both of those together made landing easier for you." Keira dropped her fist into her palm, her sigh of understanding being accepted as Master Roshi tapped his cane.

"Hurry up, you two," ordered the man. "There's one more test before I can okay you for the World Martial Arts Tournament." The students nodded as they followed the master, Keira secretly snickering with a gloating look on her face. Krillin rolled his eyes, letting the girl have her victory. They found themselves in front of a huge boulder, bigger than the one Keira had watched Gohan be forced to move.

Master Roshi patted the side of the stone, nodding his head. "If you two want to participate in the tournament, you will each push this stone for over ten feet with your bare hands. No tools, no machinery, no special techniques. This is raw power at work." Keira grinned, pretending to roll up sleeves that were longer than her own.

"Piece of cake," stated the girl. She placed her hands on the stone, Roshi pulling out a timer. The old man nodded his head as he started the clock.

"Begin." Keria began to grunt as she pushed against the stone, her fingers digging into the surface and creating small cracks. The boulder moved little by little before it eventually moved at a pace she could say she was proud of. "Stop." Keira huffed as she fell backwards, breathing deeply as she smirked.

"How-how was that? Did I do good?" The master nodded his head, humming in interest.

"Thirty-three point seven seconds. You beat Gohan's time by five seconds." The monkey girl immediately popped up, dancing around giddily before she ran back over. "Looks like it's your turn, Krillin. Time to push it back."

The monk nodded his head, walking over to where the stone was as he took deep breaths. He placed his hands on the opposite side, waiting for the go ahead as his muscles tensed. "Begin." The boy growled as he began pushing, the stone beginning to move as soon as he put the pressure on it. Keira turned around, gawking at the speed the stone was sliding towards them.

She almost felt a need to jump back when Master Roshi held up his hand. "Stop." Krillin skidded to a stop as the stone slid for an inch more, the boulder crumbling into a pile of stones on the ground. "Twenty-five point nine seconds. I dare say you nearly caught up to my first best time, though I have since beaten it myself."

Keira's jaw still hung open like an upside-down hatch, Roshi putting the clock away. "I would show you but the two of you have turned the poor thing into rubble." The Saiyan popped her jaw back into place, her body trembling a bit. She looked between her hands, the pile of stones, and her mate on the other side of the rocks. She found a hard time finding her words, bringing her hands to the sides of her head.

"H-HOW!? He might be all cute and hairy with a tail but he's still human… right?" Roshi adjusted his glasses, wincing as the frame rubbed against his swollen cheek.

"He may be human, Keira, but he is still a boy. Men are built for this where young women are not. While I have no doubts in regards to your strength, it is a matter of the fighter's sex. Men and women are built to be strong in their own ways." Keira looked down, gritting her teeth.

"Then I just have to get stronger to match my mate in strength! I won't take this stupid biology stuff sitting down!" Krillin grinned, stretching his arms a bit.

"That's the spirit, Keira," encouraged the boy. "No matter if you're a boy or a girl, you can always get stronger." The monkey girl giggled at this, only to wince as she received a rolling pin to the head.

"Just remember to not hurt yourself because of your pride, young lady," huffed Launch as she crossed her arms. "You boys are a terrible influence sometimes, you especially Muten. Don't think you're off the hook either, Krillin, because you keep pushing her to where she might hurt herself. Saiyan or not, she's still a girl." Keira crossed her arms at this, looking away as she grumbled under her breath.

She winced as her ear was pulled, Launch having a serious frown on her face. "Don't give me that. I've seen Saiyans hurt themselves just to prove a point. I don't want to see you getting yourself killed by being a stubborn airhead." Keira nodded her head, her teeth gritting together before she was released. Master Roshi cleared his throat, shaking his head.

"Well, I believe it's 'bout time we prepared for that ride. I have special outfits for you two, though you'll have to wear regular lady undies while in yours Keira." The saiyan moaned at this, rolling her eyes.

"I don't like human undies that much! They get all wadded up and hurt after a while." The master shook his head in denial at this, a chuckle escaping his throat.

"It's only for one day. I can't have you looking like that when I present my two finest students. Should you desire it you can wear the leotard under some new Gi I had made. I had a new suit made for Krillin to look presentable. Now get moving to Kame House, shower, and get dressed."

The two students marched back to the house, a slight tension in the air. Krillin took the first turn to wash himself off, making sure the hair and fur on his body was thoroughly cleaned. He decided to change downstairs while Keira took the upstairs, not wanting to start a mating incident before they had to leave. Krillin looked at himself in the mirror while wearing a blue two piece tuxedo and a matching blue fedora. A hole was made for his tail, the boy chuckling to himself.

"Man," sighed the monk with a smile. "Do I make this look good or what?" Master Roshi walked over, wearing a black suit with a red tie and a red band around a black fedora.

"You clean up quite nicely my boy. I hope you're ready to keep the ladies off you, especially since Saiyan girls can get jealous really fast. They're even known for killing rivals when it comes to mates." Krillin gulped at this, images of what Keira would do in that situation. He heard the stairs creak, causing his spine to tingle.

"Yo Krillin!" cried the voice of Launch. "We need a man's opinion here so man up and turn around!" The boy slowly turned around, his face slacking into a gape at the sight before him. Keira stood at the middle of the steps, wearing a sparkling pink dress. She held her hands behind her back, puffing her chest out as her tail wagged in an enticing manner.

"I hope it looks good~," stated the saiyan girl. "It's not as good as my mother's armor she wore to Prince Vegeta's birthing festival but it works, doesn't it?" Krillin tried to find the words to say, his jaw still feeling slack as a purr escaped his throat. Master Roshi hummed, ignoring the display to let the feelings settle in his other student.

"I made the right call on that dress," stated the master. "Now, we have thirty minutes before our flight leaves. We best get going. Launch, we're off to Papaya Island. Keep an eye on the house while we're away."

Krillin felt his jaw return to normal as he processed his master's words. He hadn't heard what the old man said exactly, though he gulped just the same. He had the eyes of a predator on him, Keira practically piercing her gaze into him. To him she looked like an animal stalking its prey, making him feel like a piece of meat. It made him wonder if all Saiyan women were like this, quickly deciding that such would be the case.

'Well, no two ways about it,' thought Krillin. 'I'm screwed. Then again, I kinda signed up for this.'

Hours later

The flight took several hours, the plane ride feeling rather slow. Krillin felt Keira's eyes on him the entire time, unashamed to admit to himself that it was a bit arousing. Even at lunch time she kept a perfect gaze on him as she ate. He could practically feel the tension she sent his way, another tension hitting him as well. He sighed as he shook his head.

'She's completely forgotten about Launch's warning, hasn't she?' thought Krillin. 'She's either going to be upset near the end, happy that she won, or be annoyed from having to wear that thing Launch warned her about. I can feel it.' The plane soon landed, the door being open to where the passengers could leave. Krillin shook his head as he followed the others out of the vehicle, the group making their way through the airport.

Keira finally took her eyes off her mate as she looked forward, taking in the scenery just like the others did. She smiled at the sight of several strong looking opponents, wondering how far she would go. Master Roshi walked over to the signup desk, leaving the group alone. Keira sniffed the air, only for a familiar scent to reach her nose. She looked around for a bit, only to huffed as she was grabbed from behind by her waist and lifted into the air.

"MILLA!" cried a young yet familiar voice. Keira winced at the name, only for the voice that called it to earn a small smile from her. "YOU'RE HERE! I KNEW YOU WOULD BE!" The Saiyan chuckled as she shook her head.

"Chi-chi!" giggled Keira. "Put me down so I can get a look at you!" The individual put her down, allowing her to breathe a bit. She turned around, expecting to see the same small girl she knew. Her eyes widened slightly in shock as there were some obvious changes.

Chi-chi still had the same long black hair, pale skin, and black eyes that she had before. She was wearing a blue qipao dress, one obviously meant for style as it was accompanied by rather expensive looking shoes. What surprised Keira more was that the girl was now a bit taller than her, also developing decently. "How do I look? Daddy's signing me up for the tournament too so I wanted to dress to impress." Keira smirked at this, tilting her head.

"You look great Chi! How about me? Never thought you'd see me in a dress, huh? It's all pretty and flowy." Her friend giggled as she nodded her head.

"I know! You look so cute, Milla." The saiyan winced again, holding her hands together pleadingly.

"Actually, Chi-chi, it's Keira. I learned that my Momma and Daddy gave me that name while Gohan gave me the other one." Chichi tilted her head, a concerned look on her face.

"You mention Mr. Gohan in such an… angry way. I thought you were excited to see him again. He was always so nice from what I remember. What happened?" Keira shook her head with a sigh.

"It's a little too personal to talk about in the open. Could you please just call me by my real name?" Chichi nodded her head in response.

"Alright. It'll take some getting used to and…" Chichi slowly looked behind Keira, taking note of Krillin. "And who might you be handsome? I didn't see you back there?" Keira jerked, feeling a protective instinct enter her as Krillin chuckled nervously.

"Um… I'm Krillin," greeted the boy. "N…nice to meet you." Keira immediately grabbed Chichi by the arm, glaring at her.

"Chi-chi, he's MINE! I mated him and left my mark. He even left his mark on me. Back off or ELSE!" Her friend grinned at this, tilting her head.

"So you actually got a boyfriend before me? That's so adorable!" Keira shook her head, a huff leaving her chest.'

"Krillin's my mate, not my boyfriend. It's way deeper than that. He's gonna help me make babies." Chi-chi had a look of shock on her face, her eyes widening. Krillin sighed, shaking his head.

"Keira, honey, do you have to say that in public?" questioned the boy. "People are gonna look at us weird or think bad things." Keira crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing.

"I don't see how proclaiming my intentions is bad. As a Saiyan, no other female can touch or claim you BUT ME." Krillin closed his eyes, shaking his head.

'And now she's jealous because that Chi-chi girl started flirting with me. This is gonna take a lot of kissing up and maybe a spar to fix. At least we have the tournament to distract her.' His tail wagged behind him as the thought of said competition subconsciously excited him. Someone began to move through the crowd, the words "excuse me" being repeated a few times.

"Yo Mi- I mean Keira!" cried a masculine voice. The group looked over to see a young man with tan skin, short black hair, and black eyes approaching them. He wore a red bandana, an orange neckerchief, a green martial-arts top with a kanji for "comfort" emblazoned on the front, orange gi pants, and blue martial arts boots. Keira growled at him, her eyes narrowing.

"Who are you?" questioned the Saiyan. "You look funny. Anyway, I'm busy." The warrior suddenly lowered into a stance, the move looking familiar to her. He then struck at the open air, causing the girl's eyes to widen.

"Wolf Fang Fist!" The image of a similar looking man popped into view for the saiyan, causing her to slowly grin. She turned towards him with her hands behind her back.

"Well if it ain't Yamcha! Your hair looked so funny I didn't recognize ya!" Yamcha slumped at this, feeling rather annoyed.

"Ah come on! It's a normal haircut. I just cut my hair short and you can't even recognize me? I didn't even change my outfit that much." Keira giggled at this, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Sorry. It's been a while." Krillin rolled his eyes, knowing full well that Keira probably just didn't care to try and identify the guy. He glanced to his right, only to notice the slight frown Chi-chi was sending him. He tilted his head, confused by the look.

"So, what's with Milla… I mean Keira?" questioned the princess. "She's acting very different." Krillin looked forward, noticing that the Saiyan was playing around with Yamcha's hair.

"It's a bit personal to her, but if you ask she'll tell you all about it. Let's just say having her gramps back wasn't as glamorous as she thought it'd be. A lot of secrets he took with him were uncovered in a pretty bad light. Doesn't help he went nuts trying to make her stay a little girl forever. Anyway, that's the very short version."

He then glanced at the princess again, his eyes narrowed. "It can be pretty complicated so be prepared for a long rant from her if you bring it up." He felt Keira's eyes on him, causing him to chuckle. "She's just asking questions about the training, Babe. You're still my one and only."

Keira suddenly took his hand, holding it in the center of her chest as the boy began to sweat. 'Like I thought, jealous. If she wasn't, she'd have used her tail to grab mine. This could get bad if she doesn't get distracted soon.' Another figure walked over, a confused look on her face.

"Keira?" questioned a feminine voice. "Is that you, in a dress? I know you wore one a few months ago but it's still a bit new to me. Also, maybe don't look like a total floozy by holding a boy's hand there." Keira turned around, a slight hiss escaping her throat.

The new arrival had blue hair braided into a ponytail, green eyes, and fair skin. She wore a green dress, a white jacket, a large black purse, and black high-heel shoes. Keira recognized the girl as her companion Bulma, still enraged by her presence.

"Go away, Bulma!" cried the Saiyan. "I can do what I wish with my mate. I'm dealing with something right now so go tell Yamcha his hair looks funny." A loud chuckle filled the air, causing the group to look that way. A massive tan skinned man with short black hair, a scruffy black beard, and black eyes followed after Master Roshi. He wore a simple white polo, a black pair of dress pants, a black leather belt with a silver ox buckle, and black dress shoes. Keira easily recognized the man as the Ox King, her Uncle Ox.

"You two fighting is definitely new to me," stated the huge man. "I never thought I'd see the day." Chi-chi put her hands on her hips, her brow twitching.

"Daddy!" cried the princess. "I didn't start anything! Mi-Keira's just being jealous because I talked to her boyfriend. She's being all weird!" The Ox King tilted his head, his eyes narrowed.

"Keira? Don't you mean Milla?" Krillin gasped as the bones in his hand were pushed together, Keira gritting her teeth as her tail fur spiked.

"Kiera, I know you hate that name and you're having issues with this Chi-chi girl but I REALLY need my hand to not be broken before the tournament," huffed the boy. "Remember, we need to meet in the finals and I can't do that with a bad hand." The girl leaned towards the boy, humming with a devious smirk.

"And mate in the ring?" whispered the girl. "Yeah I don't want my mate to lax on me." She let him go the boy rubbing his fingers as he sighed.

"You definitely forgot about Launch's chastity belt threat. You're gonna be sorry if it happens." Keira giggled at this, shaking her head.

"Oh I didn't forget. As long as she doesn't know what's happening, she can't do anything to me." The furred boy sighed, shaking his head.

'I have a feeling she'll find out the hard way. Lady luck is not on her side.' He chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head. "I swear the jet lag is annoying. I could use some rest before the tournament tomorrow." Bulma smiled as she nodded her head, holding up a credit card as she waved it back and forth.

"If it's a hotel you need I can pay for it," offered the genius. "My allowance should be able to cover it." Krillin narrowed his eyes, grumbling under his breath about "rich girls". "I heard that." The Ox King shook his head in denial, a small smile on his face.

"The offer's appreciated but we'll be fine," denied the man. "I can pay for a place for Chi-chi and myself just fine." Master Roshi nodded his head, clapping his hands together.

"Right," accepted the old man. "Your generosity is appreciated, Bulma. We'll get settled in for the night. I have some prior engagements to attend to myself." Bulma pulled Keira closer, the monkey girl gasping as she had not been expecting the move.

"It'll be a fun sleep over, like we did on our trip a few months ago," stated the genius. "We'll have lots of fun." Krillin suddenly looked around, a frown on his face.

"Hang on," argued the boy. "Where's your folks? You're only sixteen. That's considered a minor, so how can you pay for a hotel without a license. That's a lot of money to be throwing around." Bulma growled at this, her eyes narrowing.

"For your information, Buster the Tiger, I'm seventeen now. I would have invited Keira to the party but she's always so busy training and she'd eat my parents out of house and home." Keira looked up, her cheeks puffing out.

"HEY!" cried the monkey girl. "I only tried to eat Gra-Gohan's hut one time when I was a baby and it tasted funky. I don't do that stuff!" A snort-like laugh filled the air, causing the monkey girl to growl. She looked towards the source, only to freeze a bit.

A humanoid pig stood before the group, wearing a white button up shirt and a pair of blue overalls. He was a bit fatter from when she had first met him, though the girl could recognize Oolong from anywhere. The pig finished his chortling as he shook his head.

"It's kinda scary to hear you admit to trying to eat a house," stated the walking pork rind. Keira felt an old urge inside her, though she tried to fight it as her tail twisted in strange ways. "Been a few months, kid. I guess it would be too much to ask for a hug after all that time, especially since you look like you've been growing up and-" He tried not to squeal as he was suddenly in a squishing hug, his face being in her chest.

He chuckled from his position, his face blushing a bit. 'Oh yeah. She's definitely bigger in all the important ways.' Krillin narrowed his eyes, a low growl escaping his throat. A squeal suddenly cut through the air, a blue blur flying overhead.

"KEIRA!" cried a high pitched voice. A floating blue cat suddenly crashed into the back of the monkey girl's head, causing them to let go of Oolong as she it curled into her hair. "It's really you! It's been forever and look at you! You've gotten so big and pretty!" Keira finally giggled as she petted the feline on top of her head.

"Thanks Puar," thanked the monkey girl. "You're pretty too." Oolong chuckled as he shook his head, his eyes scanning the girl up and down.

"She's definitely gotten big alright," observed the pig. "In a few years, they'll get even bigger." The growl suddenly grew louder, causing Oolong to wince as it sounded like a predator was near, He turned to look at the source, only to softly squeal as he saw Krillin's tiger-like eyes set on him like a beast stalking its prey.

He took a few steps back, also noticing the boy's striped tail. "What the heck, nut boy!? Since when did you become an animal human!? I thought the way to do that was lost years ago!" Roshi adjusted his suit, his brows touching.

"I had the list of ingredients, just not the spell," stated the old hermit. "Cost me a pretty Zeni to get it. Krillin owes me a hundred million zeni for that. I hope you found having that tail worth it my boy." Keira grinned, her own tail wagging as Bulma narrowed her eyes.

"THAT'S why you did it?" questioned the rich girl. "I know that's chump cash for me but why go into debt over a tail?" Krillin looked away, huffing as he crossed his arms.

"Well so sue me if I found out Keira's people express their emotions through their tails," growled the boy. "It would have hindered our relationship and hurt her more. I thought I'd be the man I'm trying to be and give her the affection she wants." This had Chi-chi smiling, a soft coo leaving her throat. Her father laughed boisterous, nodding his head.

"Reminds me of when I built a huge castle in the desert for my wife," laughed the man. "If you wish, I can help pay off the debt." Roshi glared at his student, the large man not backing down even if he did chuckle with a bit of sweat. A loud growl suddenly filled the air, shaking the ground a bit. Keira giggled as Krillin looked her way with a knowing smirk.

"Babe, you ate on the plane. Did they not satisfy you?" Keira looked away, pouting in annoyance.

"They only let me have two trays," huffed the Saiyan. "I'm a growing girl. I need my food. Their peanuts also tasted weird and I didn't like them." Bulma hummed, looking around.

"I guess we could go out to eat," offered the genius. "There'll be a bit of a limit on-" Krillin suddenly bowed his head as he clasped his hands together in a pleading manner.

"OR we could ask the hotel to let Keira use their kitchen," begged the boy. "She's got mad skills, so much that Launch kicked me out of the house at one time because I gobbled up so much of it uncontrollably." Yamcha looked towards the tailed boy, his eyes widening.

"Keira can cook?" questioned the guy. "Since when did this happen? Isn't she a little young to be working in a kitchen?" Keira gritted her teeth, Krillin imagining a dark aura around her as he stood straight. He chuckled nervously as he looked towards the warrior.

"Well, now you've done it. Never question or challenge anything Keira takes pride in." The monkey girl looked up, her irises being red as she grabbed Krillin by the hand again.

"I'm going to make you guys the best feast," growled the girl. "You'll never want to eat anything else ever again!" Krillin smirked, his tail wagging in excitement.

"Well, my mouth's gonna take a return trip to heaven until I have to eat something she didn't cook." He yelped as Keira began dragging him along, the girl leaving slight cracks in the ground as she stomped. Yamcha placed his hands on his hips, his eyes narrowed.

"Okay, now I know he's pulling my chain," argued the former bandit. "No food is that good." Roshi chuckled, shaking his head.

"My dear boy, you'll see," informed the hermit. "Then you'll be sad when it's all gone just like the rest of us. Curse Krillin for finding the perfect wife. He'll forever be eating that delicious food while we mere peasants eat off the ground." The Ox King laughed nervously, unsure whether his master was being ridiculous or serious.

The sounds of a kitchen heating up filled the air, Keira working her best to make the best possible food she's ever made with Krillin as her sous chef. Bulma stood nearby as the chefs helped the duo, the bluenette having paid the men off to let the tailed girl cook. The monkey girl herself was having the time of her life, introduced to spices and seasonings she had never seen or smelled before. She even worked with vegetables in ways she hadn't seen done before. The usual head chef rubbed his forehead, a smirk on his face.

"This kid absorbs everything like a sponge," stated the grown man. "She'd be a natural in five-star dining and she's only making basic foods." Bulma smirked too, nodding her head.

"I must say that smells delicious," interrupted a refined voice. Bulma looked to her left as a rather tall man with pale skin and long black hair walked into the room. He was wearing a white dress shirt, black slacks, and black leather boots. "I do hope this will be tonight's dinner, Carlos." The head chef bowed his head, the bow being low as a sign of reverence.

"Minister Whis! It's so good to see you. I'm sorry but your meal's not ready yet if you were waiting for one. I was getting things prepared when the most interesting distraction just waltzed in and started cooking." The tall man chuckled as he shook his head.

"Oh by all means, let her continue. This smells exquisite. I dare say I would love to pass on my own recipes to her. It would be interesting to see how she could handle making them." A very short woman in a sparkling blue dress entered the room, her hair pulled back in a bun as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Whis, what are you doing?" questioned the new woman. "We're supposed to be working." Whis chuckled again, shaking his head.

"There's nothing wrong with a little relaxation and fine dining before business, Lady Wairu. Besides, we have a rather interesting pair of curiosities before us." Wairu looked towards Keira, narrowing her eyes as the girl hummed.

"Is that what I think it is? It should be impossible." Whis leaned closer, a smile still on his face.

"In all my years, I would never say that anything is impossible, North Supreme Kaio-sama. It would seem she has passed a bit of it on to who I assume to be her mate. Don't tell me this particular energy is not familiar to you." The woman narrowed her eyes, trying to see what he was going on. She gritted her teeth as she looked towards the tall man.

"You know something. Tell me." Whis chuckled again, his irises seeming to change color.

"That Divine Ki belongs to the former West Supreme Kai, though it feels so natural to see it come from this Saiyan child. How she got it in the first place, be it some form of reincarnation or a freak incident, now that is the mystery." Wairu's eyes widened, the woman shaking her head.

"Kai do not reincarnate. That is-" Whis pointed upwards as he grinned.

"Impossible? There is no such thing. If the universe wishes it to be then it will come to pass. The fact that it has come to pass is rather concerning to say the least, but there's nothing we can do now. It is ingrained into her very soul so it would be impossible to remove and dangerous to seal, especially now that she's learning to use it."

He then stood tall, a smirk on his face. "If my senses do not deceive me, she has already begun letting it flow naturally through her even if she doesn't know it." Wairu narrowed her eyes, her fists clenching.

"I am not a fool to believe you can be deceived. What will we do?" The tall man frowned, though it was more of a blank frown.

"I shall inform the Grand Supreme Kai Shin, Lord Beerus, and the Grand Priest. Should Lady Chronoa and Lord Zeno need to know, Father will tell them. That will be after our business on this planet is finished, of course. For now, I believe the first step to making a potential ally is a good first impression, is it not?" Wairu grumbled as she crossed her arms, only to sigh as she lowered her head.

"Why can't we ever have a simple day where we do not have to interact with mortals. It's already dangerous to their development to do so this early." Whis smiled at this, shaking his head.

"I understand your reluctance. You do not wish to be swayed into becoming selfish and transforming into a demon, much like your predecessor." Wairu frowned at this, her eyes glowing slightly.

"Let's just get this over with." Whis chuckled again, time seeming to move on as if it were stopped for the conversation. Keira's ears twitched, the girl shaking her head as she huffed.

"I coulda sworn I heard a lot of talking all at once," stated the monkey girl. "Krillin?" The boy shrugged in response.

"I mean, a lot of people are talking and I felt a buzz in my ear," stated the sues chef. "Let's just get these steaks done and knock Yamcha's socks off." The Saiyan grinned at this, unaware that Wairu was looking at her with eyes as wide as saucers.

'She… she sensed our conversation?' thought the Kai. 'How? She's not trained in her Divine Ki well enough. Is it like the muscle memory some mortals are given by the past Kai creators?' Whis kept composure compared to that of an honest man, approaching the duo as he looked up.

"I would say that a touch of oregano would make the dish simply divine, as simple as it is," stated the man. "Still, the fact that a simple dish has my mouth watering is simply a welcome surprise." Keira smelled the seasoning in question, grinning as she nodded her head.

"You're right!" cheered the monkey girl. "That would be perfect!" She added it into what she was doing, only to pause as she hummed. "How'd ya know that?" The tall man smirked as he held one of his arms behind his back.

"I am quite the connoisseur when it comes to fine foods. I do occasionally enjoy the simple delicacies in life as well." Krillin looked towards the tall man, his hairs standing a bit as his eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"And who exactly are you?" questioned the striped boy. "You aren't part of the kitchen staff." Whis bowed his head slightly in response.

"You may call me Minister Whis of his highness King Furry." Wairu grumbled as she walked forward, her hands in the hidden pockets of her outfit. She curtsied to the duo, keeping her eyes closed.

"You may call me Wairu," greeted the woman. "I am the… Secretary of Whis." Keira smiled, looking the woman over.

"I love your dress," stated the monkey girl. "It's so flowy and breezy." Wairu didn't reply, opening her eyes to see the grin on the girl's face. She could almost see a flash of a different being over the girl, the tail breaking her perception. She smiled weakly as Whis nodded his head.

"I can't help but agree," stated the tall man. "Wairu's personal sense of fashion would have been rather out of place for… the tournament. We were hoping to see how the warriors involved have been improving. That is on top of our official business, of course." Wairu rolled her eyes, her cheeks puffing out.

"Speak for yourself," denied the Kai. "I'm only here because you made me. Our business would have been over days ago if you weren't so interested in the tourist attractions." Whis feigned a hurt expression, placing his hand on his chest. He shook his head as he looked downtrodden.

"I cannot believe you think so little of me. How else am I supposed to find things to entertain my… good friend Beerus in this place?" Wairu turned around, her arms crossed as she huffed.

"You could try finding a pet. I hear that's what you do when you're bored." Krillin hummed as he motioned for Keira to get back to the food. The monkey girl leaned towards him, gesturing for him to come closer. He did as told, his ear being brought to her mouth.

"I wonder if they're mates," giggled the monkey girl. "They sure fight a lot. It's like how you refuse to mate in the ring. Should I ask about their mate marks?" Whis giggled at the duo, Wairu looking appalled as she whipped the front of her outfit off.

"I guess we'll see how they act before you go asking those kinds of questions," chuckled Krillin. "If you guys are done talking, we need to keep our attention on the food so it doesn't burn. Nice meeting you I guess. Here's the salt, Keira." Whis nodded as he watched the duo work.

"Very well. We shall entertain your company of friends in the meantime." The two arrivals left, Keira shaking her head as the world shifted around them.

"Weird. I feel like I knew him." Bulma looked between the strange duo and her companions, the moment having only lasted a brief time for her.

"So, does this guy work for King Furry?" questioned the genius. "You did call him Minister earlier." The head chef nodded his head in response.

"Indeed," confirmed the man. "He visits here and there, though it's not often he brings one of his secretaries. Don't tell her I told you but his secretaries are not usually as friendly as he is. All work and no joy for cuisines." Bulma rolled her eyes, her arms crossing under her chest.

"Great. So if I meet him again I shouldn't expect a warm welcome." Wairu looked towards the duo, her eyes narrowing.

"I assume you two are talking about me," stated the woman. Both humans jolted at her words, looking rather spooked. Bulma cleared her throat, shaking her head.

"Um, sorry. It's just… I don't remember seeing either of you in photos or on TV." Wairu rolled her eyes, crossing her arms in the same way Bulma had done.

"We do not desire to have photos of us or be interviewed. We simply do the job, or at least I wish we could if… Minister Whis would stop fooling around." The tall man chuckled, shaking his head.

"You can never truly understand people until you take a look into their culture," denied the man. "It can be rather fun, especially when you find a new culture to dive into." The Kai huffed as she looked away.

"I do not take interest in personal pleasures. I simply do my job as I was created to do." Whis chuckled again, shaking his head.

"Yes. We are all born with certain talents, are we not?" Wairu winced as her slip up was secretly jabbed at, bowing her head in response. "In any case, I believe we should vacate the kitchen before the smells become too much for me to bear without trying a morsel of food that isn't mine." Bulma smirked, shaking her head.

"If you really want some, you can stick around. I kinda paid for the entire floor for the entire night. Daddy's going to wonder why I practically bought a hotel's kitchen." Krillin mumbled from where he was about "rich girls", earning a silent growl from Bulma. Whis hummed, subtly licking his lips.

"I guess I will need to return when dinner is served then. Our remaining business in the hotel should be over swiftly if there are no complications. We must be off for now." The duo finally departed, Keira looking back one more time as her irises turned red for a split second. She saw a flash of a blue skinned man standing beside a tall purple cat man next to him, shaking her head as she returned her attention to the food she was preparing.

Not long after this, Roshi could be found pouring a bottle of champagne into a wine glass. He took a light sip, sighing at the taste of fine alcohol. The Ox King sat nearby, his eyes looking concerned.

"Master," began the large man. "Must you drink before the Tournament?" The Turtle Hermit chuckled as he shook his head.

"Let me enjoy myself, Gyumao. I've not had a good drink in years. Besides, I do not intend to become drunken on it. It's a special occasion, after all. It feels like only yesterday, you and Gohan were attending this tournament for the first time."

The old man spun the drink around in the glass a bit. "Now a new generation of students and your own child are taking part in it, and they all have such wonderful potential. I daresay I'm not sure if I could take on Krillin and Keira if I hadn't started training again. Still, these kids might surprise me with the unexpected if I give them too much of an inch." The Ox King began leaning back, his eyes widening.

"You've begun to train again, Master? Why?" Roshi chuckled, a grin on his face as he removed his sunglasses.

"After seeing what those kids could do, I knew they would surpass me if I kept lying around as they trained hard. These old bones will show them they are not yet on my level. If they can defeat me, then I suppose I can rest easy knowing that the next generation is already so strong at this age. Though I would prefer they lose as it'll teach them humility." Yamcha sat nearby, his eyes narrowing.

"If Keira's gotten so strong the great Muten Roshi is having doubts, she'll be even tougher than when we met," thought the boy. "She'll be my greatest opponent to date, probably ever. I just have to beat her pipsqueak boyfriend, even if he's not as much of a pipsqueak anymore. How hard would that be?" Oolong shivered at the question, shaking his head.

"If you ask me, nut boy actually scares me now," stated the pig out loud. "It's like he became a real tiger and whatever Keira is at the same time. When he leveled that glare at me, I thought I was gonna be pork chops. I may not be a fighter, but don't underestimate that kid." Bulma walked into the room, a devious grin on her face.

"I don't think that'd be such a bad idea," stated the genius. "You would deserve it for how you were looking at Keira." Oolong waved his hands, his eyes widening.

"H-hey now! I've got legal protection by the law. I'm not a farm animal. Besides, I don't do what I used to and I'm just admiring a young lady's development." Bulma's grin grew, her head tilting slightly.

"No one has to know. Without your clothes and with an apple shoved in your mouth, you'd look just like any other pig." Roshi slid his glasses on as he chuckled.

"Now, now," denied the old man. "Let's not talk cannibalism on this special occasion, though pork chops do sound delicious." Puar floated into view, spinning slightly as she moaned.

"I'm getting hungry," groaned the cat. She then sniffed the air, licking her lips as she rubbed her stomach. "If that's how good Keira's cooking smells, can I move in with her? Yamcha only knows how to make instant ramen and toast." Yamcha placed his hand on his chest, growling in annoyance.

"Hey!" cried the former bandit. "I can make eggs and sausage just fine, right Bulma?" The genius waved her hand in an iffy manner, Oolong chuckling a bit.

"Not really an improvement pal," argued the pig. "When you compare it to whatever that little miracle chef is cooking up, I say I'd endure a full powered hug from her every day just to get a taste of whatever that is." Chi-chi looked around the group, a smile on her face.

"So, what's Milla's… I mean Keira's training like?" questioned the princess. "I did whatever Daddy told me to do but I'm so curious." Master Roshi chuckled as he finished another drink.

"Oh just the same thing your father and Gohan did in their training days," began the hermit. "Working in a construction yard with only their hands and basic tools, plowing farmer fields with their bare hands, dodging angry hornets while tied to a tree, swimming away from famished sharks…" Chi-chi began to pale more and more as the list went on, her father rubbing her back as she curled into herself a bit. Bulma frowned, being reminded of her previous visit to the hermit's home. Yamcha gulped from where he was sitting, pulling at his shirt collar a bit.

"That's insane," argued the teen. "How did they even survive it?" The master shook his head, a small smirk on his face.

"Oh that's not even half of it. One day Keira's tail got crushed pretty bad but she still kept going once she had a cast to keep it in place." The door suddenly opened, Whis being on the other side.

"My, my," stated the man. "That is quite the training routine. I may know a few worthy individuals that could use such training." The man simply let himself in, Wairu following behind him. Chichi gasped, sparkles present in her eyes.

"Your dress is so pretty!" cheered the girl. "I love it!" Wairu strained a smile, able to hide her disdain for interactions well.

"Thank you," thanked the woman. "I apologize for… Minister Whis barging in." Bulma frowned, crossing her arms.

"I thought the door locked when we closed it," stated the genius. "How did you get in?" Whis chuckled as he held up a room key.

"Someone dropped this outside," explained the man. "I do believe a Mister 'Oolong' should keep better track of his belongings." The pig looked towards one of his overall pockets, finding a hole in it.

"Ah crap," huffed the pig. "I just got that pocket fixed." Bulma sighed as she shook her head, gesturing towards the duo.

"So, this is the Minister of King Furry and his Secretary," introduced the girl. "They stopped by the kitchen earlier." Roshi narrowed his eyes, the Ox King humming to himself.

"Strange," hummed the man. "I thought Chu was still the Minister. He stopped by my kingdom just the other day. Did something happen to him?" Wairu sent a side glare at Whis, the man chuckling innocently.

"I'm afraid he's on temporary leave," informed the tall man. "King Furry appoints me to stand in his place whenever situations like this happen. He and I are good friends and this is hardly the first time I've served as Minister. You could say I've lived a long and storied life." Wairu leaned towards him, her eyes narrowing.

"Shut up!" whispered the Kai. "You are terrible at this. Why did I agree to wait to do our business?" Master Roshi looked like he was about to say something, only for the handle to the door to beep. Keira kicked open the door, keeping it from hitting the wall with her tail.

"DINNER IS SERVED!" cheered the monkey girl. Several waiters began to bring in food, Krillin carrying a large amount by himself. Bulma chuckled, her chest swelling with pride.

"Look at that," sighed the girl. "Money at work." Krillin huffed as he approached the table, sending the genius a deadpan look.

"Yo, Miss 'Give the Entire Hotel a Paycheck,'" huffed the boy. "Maybe you could help out by getting these off my arms so they don't fall into the floor." Bulma huffed flipping her hair a bit.

"Why would I do that? I pay other people to do that type of stuff." Krillin grumbled under his breath, his tail curling in annoyance. Keira giggled as she began removing the dishes herself, sliding them along the table to make them stop in front of a few seats. Whis used a fork and knife to cut himself off a piece of the meat, taking a bite of the meal.

"Hey," began Oolong. "Does he just carry utensils with him or did someone leave some out?" Whis suddenly moaned as he swooned, practically swaying all around the room.

"How delightful!" cheered the tall man. "Oh how I would love to have your talents in my own home. Such a simple yet delicious dish. As for the question, I do indeed carry and wash my own silverware. I find it easier to do so than to add more weight onto another." Krillin stood closer to Keira, the girl's tail wagging at the praise.

She suddenly had a flash of memory, the same blue man from before saying how her food was so bland. Had it not been for Krillin's tail protectively wrapping around her waist, she would have growled at the unknown yet familiar man. The way he glared made her smirk, his arms crossed.

"You alright?" questioned the boy. "You spaced out?" Keira nodded her head, a frown on her face.

"Yeah," began the monkey girl. "I… I'll tell you later." Krillin frowned at this, only to nod his head. Master Roshi stood up, his face unreadable as he pushed up his sunglasses.

"If you do not mind, Minister, I would like to speak with you and your secretary in the hall," stated the old man. "There is a matter we must discuss about the King." Whis smirked, picking up one of the plates.

"But of course," stated the man. "Just let me grab a plate. You never know if there will be any food left, especially not with a young Saiyan in our midst." Those in the know tensed, Krillin's defensive tail squeeze growing tighter as a low growl escaped his throat. Wairu narrowed her eyes, her own fists clenching.

"And he warns me when I slip up," whispered the Kai. "This is going to be an annoying trip, isn't it?" The trio slowly walked out of the room, Keira feeling Krillin place a hand on her shoulder. Once outside and the door closed, Whis turned around with a different fork and knife in his hands. Muten Roshi narrowed his eyes, his shoulders tense.

"I know all of King Furry's Court," stated the old man. "I visit every year during annual meetings. I would have seen you there or heard mention of you. Who are you, really?" Wairu looked towards the tall man beside her, her hands on her hips.

"You warn me about slip ups, yet you make several. How typical of you." Whis chuckled, the plate in his hands suddenly floating as he folded both arms behind his back.

"Mistakes?" questioned the man. "Would you call it a mistake that we are currently meeting one of the agendas of our trip? We have found a rather promising candidate, have we not? This was bound to happen eventually." Wairu glared at him again, the duo's bodies beginning to shift before Roshi's eyes.

Whis's hair stood up in a swirl as it turned white, his skin turning blue as a light blue halo formed around his neck. His attire became that of a red robe with a black center that held several symbols, a long blue staff with a black orb surrounded by another halo on the end appearing in his hand. Wairu's skin turned light gray as her hair turned rose pink, her dress turning into a blue and gray robe to reveal a white sleeveless top and dark blue harem pants. "My name is Whis, and I am this universe's Angel. You stand before Wairu: The North Supreme Kai."

The angel took a moment to savor another bite of Keira's cooking, Wairu rolling her eyes as he began swooning again. "Oh don't be like that, My Lady. Just one bite won't hurt." He practically shoved a piece of the meal into the woman's mouth, causing her to growl in fury before the flavor hit. She fought the urge to say anything as she literally created a cloth out of mid-air, wiping off her mouth.

"DO NOT do that again. That was undignified." Whis chuckled as he shook his head.

"You Kai are all so serious all the time. You need to learn to relax every now and then. Besides, time has been stopped for the moment so only I and our guest can see the smile you are trying to hide." The woman turned away, her mouth wavering as she secretly chewed a bit of meat she had been hiding under her tongue. "In any case, let us get back to the matter at hand."

Whis looked towards Roshi, noticing how the man hid his shock well no matter how unphased he appeared. "You truly are an interesting character. You would do well as the next Guardian Deity of this planet." Wairu choked on the food she had, her eyes widening as she made it go down. She turned around, her hands on her hips again.

"Why must you speak so bluntly!? He does NOT need to know this, not yet anyways!" Whis grinned, his staff behind his back.

"It is far too late now. I cannot take back my words any more than you can. By meeting with us, he has already gone beyond any statute of secrecy our mission calls for. Need I also remind you that, as this is your sector, it falls unto you to handle matters such as this. Your father cannot hold your hand forever and you must learn to interact with mortals when it is necessary, for many a Kai has fallen due to being unable to interact with the peoples of a planet."

Wairu looked away again, her eyes squinting. "Your brothers have met the many Guardian Deities of their sectors of the universe. You are the only one who's been allowed to not leave the Sacred World of the Kai until now. Be thankful it is I and not your father you are with, for he would be more strict with your misbehavior. Oh the things I could tell him about our trip." Wairu turned around again, her fists clenched.

"I would RATHER North Kai or Father deal with you. You are insufferable with your distractions as it is!" She then turned around again, huffing as she looked down. Roshi narrowed his eyes, beginning to see that the woman before him was more of an inexperienced child. Wairu's frown wavered a bit, her body shivering at the thought of what her father would do as Whis cleared his throat.

"As I was saying, our original purpose on your planet is to meet with the current guardian. His time to pass down his mantle has been long overdue, having been allowed to remain as Guardian over two hundred years. It will soon be three hundred, yet a guardian by law is only allowed one hundred years before they must find a successor. After what happened with your mortal Demon King, the Grand Supreme Kai gave leeway to allow humanity to recover. However, that time has passed so a new Guardian Deity MUST be chosen."

Whis's smile disappeared, the frown Roshi saw making the hairs of his beard tingle. "We cannot grant any more chances without becoming accused of favoritism. Other deities would cry such, which would not bode well for the planet Earth. Such outcries would surely force the Grand Priest to become involved, and such would see all the deities involved. Should they judge our actions as a danger, either your planet would be erased by Lord Beerus or our entire universe could be wiped from existence."

Roshi's display began to waver, Whis nodding his head. "It seems you have adequate understanding of the danger your Guardian's continued tenure would incur." The old master cleared his throat, trying to regain some composure.

"How long?" questioned the man. "How long until he must be replaced?" Whis counted on his hand, acting like he had to actually think on the answer.

"I would wager there are twenty-two Earth Years remaining. You have time to decide if you or one you know would be adequate for the position." Roshi shook his head, a frown on his face.

"No need. For the Earth and all life, I will complete it as quickly as possible." The angel hummed, an intrigued smile on his face.

"That is rather bold of you to decide so soon. We have yet to even discuss this with the Guardian." Wairu looked towards him, an annoyed look on her face.

"Kami will refuse," stated the Kai. "He'll try to find a reason to give himself more time. It's what he did last time when he could have passed the reign a hundred years ago or even sooner. He knows this man, Roshi, exists yet he never took him as an apprentice." Whis chuckled, shaking his head.

"Lady Wairu, you did not think I would allow this to slide a third time, did you? While I and your father have been rather lenient, Kami cannot escape his fate. He will either step down, or Lord Beerus will force it upon him himself. If Kami is still the Guardian of Earth at the end of the twenty-two year period, I will wake Lord Beerus myself." Wairu shivered once again, her knees wobbling at the thought of an upset Beerus being on the loose nor the idea of the number of planets or even galaxies she would need to recreate as a result of his rampage.

"I see," stated Roshi suddenly. He bowed in reverence to the duo, his glasses remaining firmly in place. "I thank you for your honesty. When this tournament ends, I will be willing to go with you to meet Kami." Whis clapped his hands together once, a pleasant smile on his face.

"Splendid! This should make the transfer process much simpler." Wairu nodded her head, her frown looking less annoyed and more blank.

"Yes," agreed the Kai. "The Namekian won't be able to dodge his fate now that a fitting Guardian has been chosen for him. May we NOW make our way to meet with him? You have had your food." Whis bemoaned the idea, shaking his head.

"But it is too delicious to not have seconds! I could spend an eternity eating that young lady's cuisine." The North Supreme Kai rolled her eyes, her cheeks puffing out.

"Of course you would choose food over the assignment. I for one would like to complete our objective before I indulge in anything." Whis held her face gently, causing her to growl as she flailed her limbs to try and shake him off.

"But you've only had a single bite. You MUST try more! Besides, did our candidate not just agree to come with us after the tournament? It would be uncivilized to leave him behind when in one trip we could begin preparation for his divine training, which you will have to train him in of course." Wairu groaned as her cheeks were released, rubbing them as she winced a bit.

"I have to stay on a singular planet for years? Father, why?" The Angel beside her smiled as he shook his head.

"A few years is a drop in a bucket for a Kai. What is twenty-two years to one who can live for a hundred million years should she be able to resist the temptation of selfishness?" Roshi chuckled at the annoyed look on Wairu's face, having a better feeling for the duo.

"Fine. Just one bite. Nothing more."

Elsewhere

Within the forest near the arena, the sound of a battle could be heard. An individual could be seen facing a pack of wolves, striking each one that jumped at him and causing them to fall limp to the ground. The alpha of the pack growled, slinking around to try and get an advantage on the slayer of its kin. The wolf finally saw its chance to leap in, a cracking sound filling the air as it was soon followed by a loud pop. The large canine hung with its lower half reaching the ground, a brown tail wrapped firmly around its neck as the remaining wolves fled in fear.

"Now that is a meal well earned," stated a young, masculine voice. "I will do Master Chappa proud as I compete in the tournament. Perhaps we will finally meet, Son Milla."

Inkaliber: That's the chapter everyone! The World Martial Arts Tournament is finally about to commence, only one more night of waiting for the fighters. Keira has been shown to have full capability to transform into the Oozaru at night regardless of the moon's state, her sights being on conquering the daytime next. Whis makes an early appearance as well alongside the newest North Supreme Kai, the duo discovering a hidden fact about Keira that not even she knows yet. The visiting deities also set their sights on making Master Roshi the next Guardian of Earth, something he will surely need to increase more than just his training to complete. With the addition of an unknown Saiyan, this tournament is shaping up to be more chaotic than the canon 21st WMAT ever was!

Zem's a little busy enjoying the fact he can drop things on Wayde with that switch he found, though I don't know why Wayde keeps falling for the same trick. It'll probably be a while before that wears off. Anyway, time to properly end the chapter.

Did you guys enjoy the chapter? How will Keira and Krillin stack up this time? Who will come out on top in the tournament, and who is this mysterious Saiyan? Let us know down below what you think and I'll try to respond as soon as possible, the start of the next chapter at the latest. Until then, this is Inkaliber, signing out.
