Antonio followed Al to the basement once they made it to the district and was like, 'So spill the tea, what's the scoop?' He just really wanted to confirm if the gossip he heard from Jay about Erin and Voight was for real, not that he really cared if they were dating, but he was just curious.

'Erin and Voight are a thing, been going strong for two months,' Al spilled the beans. 'But keep it on the down-low because Voight's keeping Erin's pregnancy under wraps,' he warned Antonio, who nodded in agreement and raised an eyebrow, 'How's the baby doing?'

Al shook his head and said, 'Will thinks it's too early to know until Erin wakes up, but he suspects it might be Rolands,' Al whispered, 'Though I'm hoping it's Voight so Erin won't have to stress about what to do.'

Antonio nodded in comprehension, 'I understand that. Are you prepared to extract information from this criminal?' he inquired as he approached the cage where the shooter was located.

'Yes, let's proceed so we can identify who orchestrated this,' Al responded. 'What is your objective?' the shooter questioned, displaying disinterest in conversing with the detectives who had come over and opened the cage.

'You do not have the privilege of asking questions, pal,' Al declared, signaling to Antonio to retrieve a crowbar. Antonio obtained a crowbar. 'You will be providing us with answers,' he stated, passing the crowbar to Al. 'First, what is your name?' Al queried as he gestured the crowbar around. 'Who is inquiring?' the shooter counter-questioned.

Al tightened his grip on the crowbar, while Antonio seized the shooter's hair. 'We are the individuals who are going to use this crowbar on your face,' he warned, glaring at the shooter, causing the man to whimper. 'My name is Mike,' he uttered as Antonio tightened his hold even more.

Al inquired sternly, 'Mike, why did you shoot our female detective?' Al awaited Mike's explanation. Mike defended himself, 'I did not shoot anyone,' as Al and Antonio exchanged glances.

Antonio delivered a warning by kneeing Mike in the stomach and reiterated the importance of honesty due to multiple witnesses.

'Tell us who hired you to shoot,' Antonio demanded with a hiss. Mike hesitated, stating, 'I don't believe I should disclose that information,' which led Al to strike his leg with a crowbar, prompting Mike's hostile reaction.

'Answer us or face severe consequences,' Al threatened. Mike, writhing in pain, admitted, 'I received a call offering a substantial amount of money to shoot the detective, but I don't know the person's identity.' He expressed remorse for his actions, attributing the crime to financial desperation.

· Prison Break *

An individual clandestinely passed through the gates with the assistance of an accomplice. 'Thank you for this,' expressed the individual as he leaped into the waiting van concealed in the shadows.

'So where to Roland?' inquired a female voice as she maneuvered out of the alleyway once Roland had boarded the van.

Roland removed his mask and jumpsuit promptly. 'Go to the cabin in the woods, Krya,' he responded as he changed into the attire provided by Krya.

'One mission is accomplished; Mike diverted everyone's attention,' Kyra mentioned as she steered towards the secluded cabin.

'How did he manage that?' Roland questioned as he completed dressing and moved to the front seat. 'I believe he had a firearm and initiated firing, though he unfortunately shot the female detective,' Kyra disclosed as she glanced at Roland, who acknowledged her statement. 'That should effectively preoccupy them for some time,' he remarked.

· At The Hospital with Voight*

Voight sat by Erin's bedside, holding her hand as he awaited her awakening. Will intermittently entered the room. 'Come on, darling, please wake up,' he implored as he gently caressed Erin's hair.

'Hello,' a voice interrupted Voight, and he turned to find Eddie by the door. 'Hello, Eddie, I apologize for not picking you up,' Voight expressed before redirecting his focus to Erin. Eddie entered the room after Voight acknowledged his presence.

'There's no need to apologize; Kim and Sean have briefed me on the situation,' Eddie reassured as he settled into another chair. 'How is she?' he inquired, gazing at the woman in the bed. He had heard Voight speak about Erin frequently during his time in the cell and subsequent visitations post Voight's release from prison.

'Will mentioned she should make a full recovery,' Voight responded, looking away. 'That's positive news. Is there anything you require? I am willing to assist however I can,' Eddie offered. 'I can take care of whoever is responsible,' he added.

Voight shook his head and stated, 'No, everything is under control. Al and Dawson are dealing with the shooter,' he sighed. Eddie nodded, and the two conversed for a while.

An hour passed, and Eddie suggested to Voight, 'Maybe you should get some rest or have something to eat.' Knowing Voight's reluctance to leave Erin's bedside, he responded, 'No, I can't.'

Eddie emphasized, 'You won't be of any help to Erin if you pass out or get sick. I'll stay here and keep an eye on her while you rest.' Voight resisted, 'No one is going to do anyth—' but was interrupted by a beeping sound that diverted their attention towards Erin's deteriorating monitor readings.

Voight tensed as Eddie hurried out of the room to call for help. 'We need help in here!' Eddie urgently shouted, prompting the medical staff to rush in. 'Alright, you two out,' Maggie ordered. Eddie took Voight out of the room, who inquired, 'What's going on?'

Voight attempted to re-enter the room and overheard a conversation between Will and Maggie. 'I believe we should proceed with returning her to surgery and extracting the baby to prevent a potential loss of both lives,' Will stated, his voice trembling as he acknowledged the necessity of the decision in order to save one life.

'May I inquire further?' Voight questioned as Rhodes swiftly intervened to assist in moving Erin out of the room, allowing Will to provide clarification on the situation.

'Voight, I acknowledge the difficulty of this situation, but it is a matter of preserving either the baby's or both their lives,' he explained, gently placing his hand on the Sergeant's shoulder. Eddie attentively listened to Will and, upon learning about his friend's girlfriend's pregnancy, couldn't help but clench his fist.

'Is there an alternative course that could ensure the well-being of both the baby and Erin?' he inquired, to which Will shook his head. 'I deeply wish there were, but the strain the baby is putting on Erin's health is too significant,' Will expressed.

Voight positioned himself against the wall, listening intently to Will's remarks about the necessary actions the doctors must take to save Erin. 'Will she still have the possibility of having more children?' he inquired. 'Certainly, but it will likely involve some risks,' Will replied.

'I apologize, Voight, but I must join the surgical team now. I will return in a few hours,' Will stated briskly as he hurried to catch up with Rhodes. Voight observed Will's departure with wide eyes filled with dismay, prompting him to vent his pent-up emotions by striking the wall with his fist.

Eddie then embraced Voight, suggesting, 'Let us make our way to the district to check if your two detectives have any leads on this perpetrator.' Eddie's words prompted Voight to agree with a nod, allowing Eddie to guide him out of the hospital, as it would be hours before they could visit Erin.
