Chapter Twelve: Party Go Wrong
( Trigger Warning ️: Drugs, alcohol, Etc)
Erin followed Cameron into an empty room, feeling perplexed about the reason for being led there. Her unease grew as she observed Cameron delving into a black bag, curiosity prompting her to question its contents.
'What is in that bag?' she inquired, maintaining a steady tone. 'Oh, just a little something,' Cameron replied calmly, producing a small bottle of pinkish liquid and a few needles. Erin's apprehension heightened, causing her to instinctively move towards the door.
'Um…I must be on my way,' she stated, reaching for the doorknob. Startled, Erin flinched as Cameron rose from the bed and locked the door behind her. 'Oh, come now, Erin, don't be timid,' he urged, his demeanor suggestive as he grabbed her hand and guided her towards the bed.
'Cameron, I really need to leave; Tish is probably searching for me,' Erin reasoned, attempting to navigate past him. However, he obstructed her path with his full weight, insisting, 'Just one small drop,' before forcefully pushing her onto the bed.
Erin's vision became blurred due to consumption of multiple cups of alcohol, yet she retained enough strength to push Cameron away. "Get off of me," she shouted, hoping to attract attention from someone downstairs amidst the loud music.
Using her legs, the brunette kicked Cameron forcefully in order to free herself from his grasp, causing him to let out a yelp. With urgency, she scrambled off the bed as Cameron, now curled up in pain, held his crotch.
Fear evident in her wide hazel eyes, she made a swift dash towards the door, her hand barely reaching the handle before Cameron pulled her back and threw her to the floor. Upon impact, Erin cried out as the force knocked the wind out of her.
"Now stop fighting, and let me do what I want, and no one gets hurt," Cameron declared, disregarding the ringing phone. He proceeded to secure Erin underneath him, reaching for a needle and a bottle, as she pleaded desperately to be released amidst the ensuing struggle and the persisting sound of her phone ringing.
Erin yelped when Cameron placed his hand over her mouth to prevent any further noise. 'Shut up, you piece of shit,' he said as he used his free hand and mouth to fill the needle.
'It'll only take a second,' he smirked. The 17-year-old girl let out muffled cries for help, her mind flashing to Voight. 'Hank… Hank… help!' she yelled after biting Cameron's hand, knowing that the detective wasn't there to assist her.
Tears welled up in her hazel eyes as she realized Voight was with someone his own age to attend to instead of her. Erin watched as Cameron yanked his hand back, looking at his now bleeding hand.
'You fucking bitch,' he sneered as he readied the needle, his brown eyes flashing dangerously, causing the teenager to regret her actions. 'MICHEL, TISH, HELP!' Erin screamed when she heard banging outside the door.
'Erin, unlock the door!' Michel yelled through the door as he tried to kick it down. 'Shut up!' Cameron growled, shoving the needle into Erin's neck and administering the drug.
Erin exclaimed louder when the needle punctured her neck and the fluid entered her bloodstream, "Stop, stop," she said as tears streamed down her face. She yelped as the door was kicked down, feeling relieved when she sensed Cameron being pulled off of her.

Tish stood next to the large pool table, observing Michel play pool with Jackie, who was one of their closest friends. "Oh, got one," Michel remarked, eliciting laughter from everyone. The blonde scanned the vast area for any trace of Erin, but she couldn't find the younger teenager anywhere.
Growing increasingly concerned as it was nearing midnight, she checked her phone for any messages from Erin, but there were none. "Tish, Michel," Lisa called out as she rushed over to them once she located the two.
"Lisa, is everything alright?" Tish inquired upon noticing the panicked expression in the co-captain cheerleader's eyes. Lisa managed to grasp Jackie and Michel's attention. "I need help… Cameron… Erin…" Lisa began to stutter, as she often did when in distress.
Upon catching up with Lisa, Sandy approached and inquired, 'Sandy, are you aware of what she was talking about?' Tish expressed her concern upon observing fear in Lisa's girlfriend's eyes. Sandy then explained, 'Cameron took Erin upstairs, and there are suspicions that he might have been drugging her drinks, as they have not been seen since.'
This revelation caught the attention of the two guys playing pool. Sandy then went on to recount, 'When Lisa and I approached Erin to check on her well-being, Cameron dismissively escorted her upstairs with a black bag in hand.'
Sandy, clenching her fists, continued, 'Concerned, Lisa and I sought your help.' Tish nodded, consulting Michel, who then turned to Jackie. 'Given that this is your house, which room do you think they would be in?' Michel inquired the braided teen, who appeared troubled. 'I am uncertain; there are approximately ten rooms in this house,' he responded, his light blue eyes reflecting his concern.
Michel and Tish glanced at each other, then at the rest of the group. 'Let's proceed to search every room upstairs. Do not hesitate to inquire with others if they have seen which room they are in,' Michel suggested.
Tish then proposed, 'I will accompany Michel to search half of the rooms, while Jackie can team up with Lisa and Sandy to search the other half,' as she looked at everyone, receiving nods of agreement.
She then pulled out her phone to attempt to contact Erin. Tish and Michel hurried upstairs in search of their friend. Tish ensured that someone lowered the music in case Erin was calling out for help, causing her to flinch as they arrived in the middle of the hallway.
Erin's cry for help made Tish, Michel, and those nearby halt in their tracks. 'GET OFF OF ME!' Erin's voice echoed. Michel quickly scanned the area to determine the location she and Cameron were in. 'In that room!' a nearby freshman exclaimed, pointing to the one behind them.
Michel hurried to the door, nearly colliding with the child, and started knocking on it vigorously. Soon after, a couple of football players joined in, with Michel commanding, 'Erin, unlock the door!' and instructing a blonde boy on his right, 'Steve, help me in opening this door.' In response, Cameron's voice was heard from the other side of the door, and Tish couldn't resist a smirk, suspecting that Erin was defending herself.
'Just hold on, Erin,' Tish whispered as the two boys kicked the door with their feet, eventually breaking it off its hinges. As soon as the door gave way, Tish observed Michel and Steve rushing over to restrain Cameron, forcefully bringing him down to the floor. Subsequently, Tish and a red-haired girl hurried to assist Erin to her feet from the situation.
"It is alright, Erin. It is just me," Tish reassured the brunette, whose tanned face was covered in sweat and hazel eyes wide with fear, as she attempted to separate herself. "It's okay, it's just me," the blonde whispered, embracing the trembling Erin.
Erin let out a shocked cry as she was lifted from the ground, blood running down her neck from where the needle had pierced her skin. However, upon hearing Tish's voice, she began to relax. "Hey, hey, are you okay?" Tish inquired, holding Erin as the younger girl wept in her arms.
"I am sorry, I am sorry… I tried to scream for help," Erin sobbed, while Tish comforted her by rubbing her back. "Do not apologize, it is not your fault," Tish whispered, gazing at the spot on the floor where Erin had been moments before and noticing an empty needle.
Tish clenched her jaw in anger at Cameton who had drugged her friend, and a troubling thought crossed her mind. "Did… did he do anything besides drug you?" she asked, praying for a negative answer, and she breathed a sigh of relief when Erin shook her head.
Erin whispered with gratitude that Cameron had only considered drugging her. "CPD is on their way," the redheaded girl informed as she knelt back down to hand Erin some water. "Thank you, Rachel," Tish whispered as she held the cup for Erin to drink.
Erin frowned upon hearing that Voight and Al would also be arriving with CPD. Peeking out from Tish's arm, she saw Cameron tied up to a table, bloody and in a heap, where Steve and Michel had him.
"Let me go, you freaks," Cameron yelled, causing Erin to flinch and tremble. "Can you stand?" Tish inquired as she stood up and aided the brunette in standing. "I…I think so," she whispered as she was helped to her feet, which almost gave way beneath her.
Erin felt her head spinning and making her sick, but most concerning was that she couldn't even feel her own body as the unknown drug started to take effect. 'What was in that needle?' Tish inquired as Jackie picked up the needle. 'Jackie, please refrain from touching that, as you may leave your fingerprints on it,' Amy warned her bewildered boyfriend.
'My dad is a police officer, as well as my grandmother, so I am familiar with the procedure,' Amy revealed. Jackie nodded and took a tissue handed to him by Amy. 'Use that to handle it so as to avoid leaving your fingerprints on it,' she instructed as Jackie picked up the needle.
Meanwhile, Michel glared at Cameron and asked, 'What was in that needle?' The dark-skinned boy confronted the Latin boy. Cameron chuckled and nonchalantly replied, 'I don't know. I got it from a friend of mine who didn't disclose its contents.' 'You bastard,' Michel growled and punched Cameron in the face.
Erin grimaced at Tish and Rachel, who had ushered her out of the room just before CPD entered the house, inquiring about Voight's presence. She turned to Tish, who shrugged in response, and whispered as she helped Erin onto a couch to be examined by a paramedic. 'But I am sure he's on his way,' Tish pledged.
The tears streamed down the brunette's face as she bit her lip, longing for Voight by her side. Despite knowing she shouldn't pursue someone who didn't reciprocate her feelings, Erin found herself drifting towards unconsciousness. "Erin!" Waking herself up with a start, she looked up to see Voight and Al rushing towards her.
