Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Cold-Hearted Titans. Enjoy the 5200-word chapter. I do not own Godzilla; Toei and a few others do.
Raijin stopped to look at the tiny ones… They drove little ships, and little boats in the ocean.
He had a lot more left to deal with… They had a lot more to deal with, and he had a lot of different ideas for now.
They were small but he remembered them, their scents, who they were. Small ones, small creatures who held different opinions.
They were who his father had died saving, who he had found to be interesting for now.
They had something else to distract it… All their ideas were going to be harsher and harsher for now.
He questioned what they would do when Skar King came, and what their plan would be. Would they fight or flee, pretend to be less than they were, or show their teeth?
A question such as this vexed him, vexed him to a degree he had not found.
(Within Hollow Earth)
Shimo thought of a time when she had been younger when King Ghidorah had come.
For her? There was such a thing as not knowing when and where to strike.
They were thrown off by her when she had come to Earth, her birth has ushered in a new ice age. Her scales had brought cold, her breath had frozen trees and rocks…
She was Shimo, the mother of the Titans back then. When it was clear she had such power? When she had been the one to rule all of Earth.
Then came Godzilla and later Ghidorah, she did not know who Godzilla was but she did not care. She had not meant to harm Earth and she did not ever harm Earth.
Right now? There was little doubt in her mind that the people around her did not care, could not have cared for it nor would they… Why should they? When she could easily kill them?
If they were smart? They would have fled, but they did not. She did not want to hurt them but she could and would have if she was allowed to, they had hurt her and others.
Still? Something like that was going to be too much now, far too much for now as it came crashing down.
She fought, she fought, and would fight. When Ghidorah had come? She had thrown herself into the fight, jaws snapping, tail cutting at the air.
If nothing else? They would not have managed so easily, Ghidorah was strong but so was she, Godzilla as well.
Shimo had thought the titan king back then to be less of the warrior he had become. She would be wrong and for once back then? She had not cared to be wrong, eager for a friend.
Shimo still bore the scars of that horrid battle, one where the planet itself would be divided by it all.
Still? She had fought, she had thrown herself at the enemy, she had shown no fear… It was all too much for now.
They had plenty left to deal with, plenty beyond this. Shimo had fought and she had been among those who were not at all eager to fight for now.
She thought of what was going through the mind… They had a lot more distractions when it came down to it.
(With Raijin)
Raijin sighed to himself… He cracked his fingers. He had something to deal with…
Right now? He thought of the Skar King who he was busy dealing with. The ape did not bother him, he could kill him… Godzilla would have wiped the floor with him.
It was the titan with him. Raijin felt the power within whomever this titan was… Right now? He did not at all know what was growing on his mind.
The monster with the Skar King was powerful. It was FAR stronger than him and if he fought them? Raijin knew he would lose that fight, their power seemed strong enough to threaten all of Earth when it came down to it.
Who were they? They were an Alpha Titan, he felt as if he was strong enough to kill Skar King but whoever had served him? They were strong, VERY strong.
It made Raijin eager to get King Ceaser to help him. He needed support, MUCH support to try and control the coming battle.
He also thought of Godzilla. He was busy securing power and right now? It was FAR too much for now but he managed, the King of Monsters was just as powerful if not stronger than him but unlike Raijin? Godzilla was stronger and older than him, but they combined were far stronger than Skar King.
They were soldiers, they would continue to be soldiers, warriors of the world.
Something about it ALL had been odd. They were allies but they were forced to strike them down.
He had a lot of different questions at the end of the day. All his mind hurt, it hurt a LOT more than it should have been when it came down to it.
Raijin snorted, pushing this idea aside. He had a hunt left to deal with… Right now? He had allies to recruit and a war to fight. He was asked to fight a war and right now? He needed allies to fight this war for now.
They had a lot of different things to deal with for now as he cracked his fingers, eager to get to work.
The tiny ones followed him. He knew they were hunting him but he did not know what or why it was growing to be a challenge sooner or later.
The battle coming to a head would cause problems, a LOT of problems seemed to be caused by what was occurring and WHY they had not yet fought the war they were building towards.
Something about that amused him highly now… It had been too much distracted for now as he thought of his next move.
There was something to be done now… Right now, right now… They had a lot of different ideas now.
They were not going to be able to distract themselves… Now at the end of the day? He had more work left to do either way.
It made him remember that Ceaser awaited. He had nothing else left to deal with.
The titan slowly climbed ashore; he had been distracted for now. He began walking, paying little attention to the little ones and more attention to the landscape.
It felt more and more as if he had been trapped in time, ready to fight for now… Raijin was eager to fight if he had to right now as he clenched his fists, looking down at the cities.
(With Shimo)
The pain in Shimo's mind was something she had not gotten used to… They had something else to do.
She felt frost, cold, ice, and snow slowly starting to spread over everything in front of her. She had been too distracted as she paused to try and relax once more…
The world around her was all too much for now. She felt confused, tired… And it was annoying her.
Shimo was furious at the time being…. Shimo was eager to kill Skar King and she knew what was occurring at the end of the day.
The damn laughs of the chaotic demonic ape were bothering her at the end of the day. She wanted nothing more than to grind him into dust under her heel, smash him into ice if she wanted.
The only thing she was being stopped by was that damn crystal he had torn from her back… Right now? She would rather die than serve him right now, bloodthirsty at the time being.
Skar King beat his chest, the beast glaring at the cover of the Iwi village, a problem that she was not stymied at the end of the day.
There was something more than she wanted to deal with… And she was bored, very bored once more. His cruelty was disturbing her and yet she was tired of it all once more.
How one got used to cruelty to where it barely bothered her was beyond her. She was all too ready to get off this train once more.
They had a lot of different ideas as she cracked her fingers. Shimo simply closed her eyes, eager to let him screw himself for now.
Right now? She simply did not at all care for the time, they had a lot more to do and she knew he was just embarrassing himself at this time being.
Right now? She wanted more than to die. Shimo was eager to think back to the past either way when it came down to it.
Something about it ALL hurt deeper than she had wished to now, right now.
She would rest and watch for the end of the day when it was all said and done once more.
They were all too distracted for now and Shimo was eager to think of it all when it was all said and done.
They were all too much for now as they thought of something like this once more. They had a lot of different ideas within them when it came down to it.
(With Raijin)
Raijin slowly slumped through the city, doing his best to avoid the little ones. They had not yet pushed him for now into a fight. So? He left them alone.
If his home was not further inland? He would not even be heading towards the tiny ones. They did not quarrel with him so he would not quarrel with them so long as that unspoken rule went the way it should have.
Something was brewing within him as he slowly stalked forward, thoughts carving through his flesh like a knife. They had wanted something from him but he did not know what or why.
Then there was the fact that they were pushing him, slowly herding him deeper and deeper towards a war. Whoever the titan was alongside Skar King? They were strong, he could sense they were equal to Godzilla in terms of raw power which made Raijin nervous, how could they stand up to such a titan who carried so much power like this?
It felt like he was busy fighting through a war and he was not at all eager to see where it went.
Granted? There was little he could not do with allies, all he needed was time to think and time to make sure he could stand against the tide that had formed in front of him.
Right now? He knew there were more problems to distract himself from the upcoming battle, and preparations to make in case it occurred.
Raijin focused on walking, the heavy sound of his footsteps reminding Ceaser he was coming after the sleeping titan. Godzilla would know by the time this was done that SOMETHING had occurred and right now? He had PLENTY left to deal with for now.
Granted? Ceaser irritated me and he would like nothing more than to wipe the damn smirk off his face so they did not question him again.
Ceaser was going to get him in trouble with Godzilla. He knew it and he knew that Godzilla would certainly kill him if they got into another fight or altercation when it came to it.
The damned lion-like titan managed to anger Raijin who strode through the mountains, the angry titan letting loose a roar from the depths of his lungs towards his former ally.
He was tired, tired of having to trudge around the planet, tired of someone who had stolen his home, and tired of the fact he had to fight to end up trying to take the world back from his enemy.
He thought of the fact that he was going to have to fight him once more as he thought of it all now… They had a lot of different ideas as he thought of himself.
He had a lot more to try and think of when it was said and done… He sighed to himself as he cracked his fingers, looking to the side.
Raijin was all too eager to get to work… So, he did, roaring as loud as possible, wanting all this land of little ones to know he was present.
He was greeted by another roar which echoed through the entire region…. He screamed in response as he thought of his next move, growling.
Then came the beast he was here for. King Ceaser rushed at him as he thought of what was to come.
Raijin smirked, eager to fight… And it appeared he was getting into a fight.
So, he roared and rushed at him, he was all too eager to get blood on his hands already.
(With Shimo)
Shimo was all too amused for now… She thought of it all when it came crashing down. The beasts of Hollow Earth rejected Skar King, and his army lay humiliated for a moment as the ape roared in rage.
All the beasts in Hollow Earth defied him, everything in Hollow Earth wanted to kill him.
Watching him struggle to kill a single Warbat amused her. if nothing else? She was content, chuckling under her breath.
"Foolish! Coward!" Skar King roared at the monstrous Kaiju who attempted to make food of him.
If nothing else? She took immense pleasure within it all, knowing he would and could fall easily, there was nothing about his struggle she would not mock.
The frost titan watched as he swung Kong's axe at the animal and it batted him aside. He was a small fish attempting to gain more power than the Earth allowed.
If nothing else? She would thank Kong for humiliating him before Skar King had called upon her. it was nothing short of impressive and needed right now.
Shimo was content to watch, fighting was not something she enjoyed. Not when she was suffering from the massive ape that harmed her, and cut away at her.
It felt more and more like she was little more than a pet, something about it all told her that he would not last long, and yet? She felt saddened, her freedom would come at the expense of the humans, tiny ones who had not wronged her, who had been her enemy.
Whatever freedom she wanted? She did NOT want it at the end of the day if it meant the humans suffered.
Yet? It seemed she would need to fight; she would be fighting one way or another.
She damned the Skar King… Even as his axe finally cut through the Warbat, sending the titan slamming into the ground, she winced at this despite knowing he was hungry and was an eater of meat.
Right now? There was something else… And she heard the Skar King's OTHER servants.
(With Raijin)
Raijin would not disagree that King Ceaser HURT, the damn punch to his face, smacking him to the ground.
Raijin growled, turned, and slammed a hand into Ceaser's face, slamming him through a building. Raijin watched the humans flee and growled, angry at his friend harming humans.
"Enough!" Raijin hissed before being kicked into the ocean. "Fine, we talk AFTER I snap your legs." Raijin hissed, forcing himself to his knees.
The lord of storms glowed crimson as atomic energy started building up his spines, King Ceaser rushed at him as Raijin fired a beam of atomic energy from his mouth.
The lion titan opened an eye and the beam vanished into it before he opened the other and Raijin was forced to throw himself into the ocean to avoid the blast.
Raijin emerged roaring, tackling Ceaser through one of the buildings, glass, and stone raining down as he smashed Ceaser into another building. He snorted as both Titans glared at each other, Raijin's eyes burning with hate.
"I don't have time for this," Raijin stated, slamming Ceaser into the tower. "The false king is preparing for war and YOU are supposed to be protecting this land," Raijin said before Ceaser grabbed his arm and kicked him to the ground.
"And what have you been doing besides sleeping?" Ceaser asked to which Raijin growled.
"Preparing for war… Do not make me force you…" Raijin hissed before slamming into the titan headfirst.
Both toppled to the ground, Raijin spinning and slamming his tail into Ceaser which toppled the guardian titan.
"You cannot defeat him. His minions are too powerful." Ceaser stated to which Raijin snorted.
"Then you have grown weak," Raijin stated, rising on his hind legs. "If you are too weak to help me? I will fight him myself… Unlike you, I plan on FIGHTING Skar King." Raijin stated.
"You aren't ready." Raijin heard before he looked to the side.
"Says the guardian who isn't helping Mothra," Raijin stated before he snorted. "If you are too weak? I will find the guardian of the Earth." Raijin stated before he sighed.
There was something to be said about the fact Raijin seemed furious about him.
"Stop being an idiot. You are harming the little ones. We leave them ALONE." Raijin hissed with anger. "If you are unwilling to help? I will find Battra." Raijin hissed, flaring his scales.
He was all too eager to relax for now… Something about hurting the humans angered him. Raijin had lived in peace with them, they were friends, and right now? He was terrifying them into wanting to fight and that was the last thing he wanted with them for now.
Raijin snorted, angry as to what his comrade was doing… They had PLENTY left to do and understand when it was all said and done, he had too much anger on his face for now at the end of the day.
There was something to deal with for now…. And he heard a roar as he turned, looking over his shoulder.
"Friend of yours?" Raijin heard as he growled.
"You could say that… You going to defend our home or not?" Raijin hissed, eyes glowing a hellish crimson.
He knew what was going to occur. Honestly? He just wanted to fight, there was a need to fight and prove he was still a worthy defender of Earth.
Gigan roared at the two, clashing his blades together in a hellish display of intimidation.
Raijin let out a roar, eager for a fight against his enemy, he would fight… And he would stand for Earth while there was to be something worth fighting for.
Gigan roared, screaming at them both as he fired a blast from his visor which slammed into King Ceaser, flooring the elder titan as Raijin snorted, eager for a fight.
(With Shimo)
Shimo glared at the other titans, knowing that Skar King had recruited, she knew much of what was growing on his mind.
They were brutes, eager for blood, eager for conquest. She had forgotten that so many different monsters had been sent down here than before, too many titans.
And all of them sent after the ape who had humiliated Skar King… That and purely for power, he never expected to reward them for fighting and they knew it, all of them wanted nothing more than power and blood.
The march across Hollow Earth continued, she knew he was waiting for Kong to return to attack him and prove himself as his men started doubting.
Shimo looked up at the surface. She had been eager to relax down here only to find nothing but betrayal, and hatred. The tyrant who ruled her knew that Shimo did not care to harm humans.
Part of his damn sadism was forcing her to kill others, to fight even if she hated it.
Right now? She looked up at the surface, questioning what it would be worth to desert, he would be forced to hunt her down and without his little crystal. He would be easy pickings.
The idea of it all had been too much to deal with. She hated that he was making her so eager to fight, to kill right now when she hated the idea of fighting against her will.
Right now? He would continue to think of what was growing on his mind as he paused to try and think of what was growing on his mind.
He had a lot more to deal with but she and the others once more had to distract themselves for now. They had a lot of different ideas as he paused.
Something that was carving through Shimo's mind was WHAT happened in the upcoming battle, she HAD to know for certain that Godzilla would be involved and currently. She knew the King of the Monsters was just as strong as her, VERY much as strong as her to where it was just odd.
Then again? She had not seen Godzilla in very many years now… They had not fought, they had not until she had a crystal torn from her back by Skar King.
All she could do was prey for Godzilla, and pray he was ready for the upcoming fight.
(With Raijin)
Gigan squealed like a pig, the dinosaur titan was sent slamming into a skyscraper by Raijin's atomic breath. Raijin growled as Gigan climbed up, resting on his bladed hands, and letting loose a scream of vile hatred.
Raijin bristled as every window for 10 miles was shattered. Gigan was strong, skilled… Raijin brought his hand to his side which bled thick black blood.
Raijin forced himself to his feet and roared, screaming in defiant rage at the pretender.
He then slammed his bulk into Gigan, sending him ragdoll into the ocean before he slowly started to heal at the end of the day. Raijin seemed to distract himself for a moment by turning and looking at Ceaser.
This was supposed to be one of the Titans who could have beaten Skar King. Yet? All he did was sit and wait, sit, and pretend this was beneath him.
Sickening, putrid… He would leave the second he defeated this upstart.
Gigan flung himself at the reptilian titan, forcing Raijin to backpedal as he knew that this beast was strong and this fight was not to be easy.
Gigan swung one of his blades, his weapon more like an oversized scythe than anything resembling a limb. It almost sliced Raijin as the titan turned, watching it slam through a building as if it did not even exist.
He growled, slamming his tail into Gigan's midsection as the titan screamed with pain, limping back as Raijin gripped his claw and pulled him into a punch which sent Gigan rolling backward.
Raijin roared in sheer agony. The beast had still sliced him good and the titan prince was in PAIN at those blades.
Yet? If he had fought like he had before? He would win, he would not relent unless forced.
Gigan screamed at him, his agony too much to bear. They were to fight and Gigan was to kill, it was the only dance he had been eager to engage in.
So, he clashed with Raijin, both kaiju slamming into each other like twin stars, their clash was something that shook the entire island as the titan roared, eager for blood.
Yes, it seemed as if he had a lot of different ideas once more. They were all too eager to get work. They had something else to deal with but this fight was all too much to think of when they fought.
They had a lot of different motives for the fight when it came to it, fighting properly? Raijin saw that the enemy would not rest until he had crushed him under his claws.
Good, the idea of giving up was alien to him, it was so stupid to him that he would be asked to back down from a fight.
Raijin slammed him into the ground, dragging the bladed Kaiju along the soil as he slammed him with enough force to crater the ground.
He roared a challenge towards the Kaiju and then charged up another atomic blast as Gigan screamed, angry and eager for blood. Then came a skyscraper as it smashed directly into the face of the titan.
He turned to see Ceaser finally deciding to get involved in the fight which made him huff as he thought of it all.
"Finally…" Raijin stated before another roar came. "Another one?" Raijin asked, curious what in the name of the world had come to attack them.
Another titan floated down from orbit, the titan looked almost entirely like a grey ball of meat, it was hunched like a gorilla, in pain from just existing.
The beast was FAR larger than Raijin, much larger and it dragged its clawed fingers towards him, yellow beady eyes inside its fleshy skull.
"Seems they brought some backup," Ceaser said as he balled up his hands. "And you still want to fight?" Ceaser asked as Raijin snorted.
"Yeah, and I want to know where your spine went," Raijin stated, growling with anger as he prepared for a fight. "Either fight or die, they want us both," Raijin stated, growling once more.
They were all too thrown off at the end of the day. He was eager to fight, eager to get on with it all.
(With Shimo)
Shimo glared at the minions used by Skar King, she KNEW who the two monsters were. Calling them titans was an insult to their species.
"Gabara…" Shimo stated before she glared to the side. "And Obsidius." Shimo hissed, looking at the two with disgust.
The horrid green beast known as Gabara was as repulsive inside as outside… A hunchbacked monster that pulsed with shocking electricity that would have fried most Titans who dared to grapple them. A horn from the midst of his head looked more like a knife than the bone it was part of.
And then there was Obsidius, a horrid freak of nature created out of stone and magma. It dripped liquid fire from its body, looking more like a golem than a titan.
Neither could overpower her but they were still strong, still part of the Titans who had challenged Godzilla.
The fact Skar King had such vile titans in his army told Shimo he was fine doing whatever he had to do when it came to winning if there was any limit to what he would do.
Well, this told her what was going on in his mind. She knew what was growing on his agenda either way, what details he had left out when it was said and done.
This was more and more hard to handle as she turned, ice falling off her massive brows, she snorted in rage as the two titans glared at her, smirking with sheer arrogance at what had been done now.
But they were titans. Obsidius and Gabara would at the very least be a match for Rodan and some of the other titans on the surface.
Which made her realize Skar King was dangerous enough to threaten part of the surface.
She turned to the Skar King who smirked, raising the crystal towards her as she roared and fired a beam of frost towards the Iwi village.
Damn him, damn this idiot for forcing her to attack this place. Damn him for all he had done since then.
(With Raijin and King Ceaser)
The grey brute titan was FAR stronger than he looked, Raijin would admit that when it came down to it. Raijin found himself struggling to deal with such a beast as he was forced back.
"I told you; we cannot fight the Skar King and his army," Ceaser stated as Raijin snorted.
"Speak for yourself," Raijin stated, focusing his atomic power.
He balled up his fist and slammed the crackling limb into his enemy, sending the beast that would be known as Orga to the ground. He roared as Gigan attempted to slash him from behind only for Raijin to twist his tail, knocking the titan straight to the ground.
They were strong. He was stronger, they relied on numbers to pose a threat to him… Right now? He would fight.
Raijin snorted, too tired at the end of the day to force himself to go much further though. The bladed one had cut him badly and he would need time to heal fully.
Time, it seemed… He would be denied.
Raijin looked at both and roared before Gigan was tossed into the ocean and a beam of fire slammed into the larger titan, sending Orga screaming and burning.
He turned to Ceaser who shrugged as Raijin snorted. He knew better than to feed the ego of the titan and he knew if he gave praise? He would never be allowed to control Ceaser.
Both turned to the two titans, roaring in defiance as Gigan climbed to his feet. He squealed at them before Orga shook his head, both sharing a look before both decided to back off for now.
Raijin watched as Gigan extended his hooks and flew upwards, into the sky, Orga soon following as the two monsters retreated for the time being.
He snorted, roared with victory… And toppled over, landing square on his back. He looked at Ceaser, watching as the titan snorted and considered ending their former fight.
Ceaser glared at him, looked him in the eye… And turned to leave.
"When Godzilla needs us? I will come… But I still think you are a fool; the little ones will not accept our help." Raijin heard as he snorted.
Pah, a victory was a victory and Raijin decided to rest. They could use time to plan and he expected Godzilla to return to ask why he had been wandering the planet attempting to gather allies.
He would come up with an answer back then when they had time to attempt to talk, to fight… To grasp more and more things when it was said and done.
Raijin was too much for now at the end of the day… Something like that was going to be as chaotic as possible.
He snorted; his own body hurt for now. It felt like he was on fire, he felt like he was too much for now, an idea like this was amusing the titan.
He knew better than to relax. Raijin was all ready to collapse, he was to distract himself for now…. Right now, at the end of today? He was a lot more bothered than he had thought.
There was one more titan he needed to fight the Skar King… But he had zero idea now what was growing on his mind.
And the sound of roaring reminded him there was still the king worth dealing with.
Author Notes
Phew. Another chapter is done! A few things.
Since I noticed Shimo's personality is just hating Skar King? I am going to attempt to flesh her out a little next chapter.
Since the final battle was a little eh… I am attempting to make it a real fight and Skar King dangerous.
Raijin is supposed to be smaller and younger than Godzilla… And one of the last of their species. I also still plan on the Titans talking due to them being intelligent and smart.
The next chapter will be in 2-10 months, be 900-6500 words, and show Raijin and Godzilla talking, more about Shimo and Spacegodzilla landing on Earth as well as setting up the meeting in Cairo. Until then? Lighting Wolf out!
