That one second of closeness with Grace, scared him a little. Deep down, he knew there were some feelings there. Maybe it was a good thing, she seemed to be one of the only women-people who would put up with him. But, no. He couldn't ruin that friendship. If it didn't work out, he knew their group wouldn't survive. He decided to talk to Wilson. By "talk" he meant barge into his office while he was with a patient. Wilson, the polite man he is, apologized and promised to reschedule with said patient.

"What do you want, House?" He asked, clearly peeved.

"I need to talk." He said, lying down on Wilson's sofa.

He was a little taken aback by the serious tone, "Sure. What's up?"

"Me and Grace had a… moment of sorts."

The oncologist frowned, "What kind of moment?"

"Well, I was showing her something on the computer and all of the sudden her face was all up in mine."

"Did you kiss?" He asked, eyes wide.

"No. But, it was close. She walked away and acted like nothing happened." He said, rubbing his hand down his face, clearly embarrassed.

"Well, what does this mean?" Wilson was intrigued.

"If I knew that, I wouldn't be coming to you." He said matter of factly.

"House. Do you, like her like that?" He sighed, also knowing this could make or break their group.

House sighed deeply, sitting up and placing his head in his hands. "I don't know," He mumbled.

"You better figure it out."

House peered up, surprised by the man's bluntness.

"House, I don't want to see her hurt."

House, now frustrated, stood up and walked over to his desk.

"Who said anything about me hurting her?!" His voice raising.

"Look, I'm just telling you to make up your mind." Wilson said, staying calm as always.

House groaned and speed-limped out of his office, shutting the door behind him. He was surprised when he was met with Grace walking in his direction.

"Hey- woah. You look pissed off." She said, looking at the man in front of her; his brows furrowed, frown more prominent than usual.

"I'm not pissed off." He said, his voice low.

She began walking with him as he limped to his office. "Well, you look pissed off. What happened with Wilson?"

"Nothing. Don't you have a job to do?" He snapped at her.

Taken aback slightly, she decided not to comment on it. "Waiting for labs to come back. This patient is a nightmare, I usually don't like to complain-"

He cut her off, "-go complain to Wilson." He said, gruffly.

She scoffed, "Ass." She said under her breath.

Grace went to Wilson's office, unlike House she knocked gently. He called out for her to come in and she entered. She sat down in one of his chairs, sighing deeply and loudly.

"What is it?" He said, knowing what she was going to want to discuss.

"House is an ass." She stated, resting her hands on her lap.

"You're just now figuring this out?" He chuckled.

"God no." she laughed softly before going quiet.

Wilson stared at her, waiting for her to say something, "Spit it out." Making a hand gesture for her to continue.

"Me and House had a… thing… well not a thing but, we almost kissed. I think." She struggled to get out.

Wilson was like a big brother to her, she knew he would give her the right advice or at least listen to her.

The older man sighed, rubbing his palm on his face, "Okay… and what're you going to do about it?"

"Well… wait," she started, "Why are you not surprised?"

Wilson just looked at her, wide eyed, and gave her a knowing look.

"He already told you?" She said, shocked but also not very surprised.

"You guys are like 2 kids that I have to take care of." He said, making a weird hand gesture of them colliding.

"Well, if we were kids, that would be weird!" She said, sarcastically.

He just stared at her, saying nothing.

"Okay, Jimmy. Seriously, what do I do? I mean, yeah he's attractive and he's funny but he's also my best friend." She said sounding conflicted, probably because she was.

"He's also 20 years older than you." He muttered.

"You mutter quite loud, you know."

"Probably because I meant for you to hear it."

Now she was the one to stare at him.

"Okay. My advice is, talk to him" He said, after thinking for some time.

"We both know he's not big on feelings. Neither am I, frankly."

"Just try to talk it out. If something comes out of it, great. If nothing does, great."

With that, Grace left his office. Making her way to House's office.
