Leaving the sealed prison with the teleportation circle, I was greeted by the sight of Ravel and Yubelluna who stood close to each other on the outside and waiting for my arrival.

In front of me, a crimson-haired man can be seen standing in front of us. Behind him, the army of the devil stood with their weapons at ready.

"Lord Sirzech, what is going on in here?"

"Making sure that there is nothing wrong with this prison, Lord Kyu, do you mind telling us what is going on inside this prison?", asks Sirzech with his usual casual smile.

"Well, my servants and I were doing an extermination mission on the Infinite Rabbit that was sealed within this prison. Did Lord Falbium forget to mention anything to you?"

"I see, perhaps he was too lazy to tell us about this. I was alerted by the security measures, so I came to this place as fast as I could."

"Ah, there is no need to worry. We already completely exterminated it. You can check the mountain of corpses inside the prison", I said to Sirzech while pointing my finger at the barrier.

Sirzech nods his head. He orders the soldiers to move into the teleportation circle.

"Officer, send your men to the prison and analyze the condition", said Sirzech to one of the commanding officers.

"Yes, Lord Lucifer."

We leave the teleportation circle to let the soldiers enter the prison. There is nothing that I need to hide after all.

Once the soldiers enter the circle, Sirzech moves his gaze to me and asks me about the progress of the extermination itself.

"What do you think about this mission, Lord Kyu?"

"Easy."

"Impressive, even my colleagues and I were having a bit of a hard time handling those Infinite Rabbits. Do you mind telling me how did you do it?"

"Sorry, I prefer to keep it to myself."

"That's understandable", said Sirzech without trying to push this matter further, He knows that everyone prefers to keep their secret to their own.

After a minute or so, the commanding officer returned to our side after he teleported outside of the prison. He immediately reports his findings to Sirzech after giving him a salute.

"Lord Sirzech, we have confirmed that the Infinite Rabbit has been exterminated.", said the officer

"Is there any proof that we can use for this claim, officer?"

"We found an enormous amount of corpses of the Infinite Rabbits within the prison. We also used the barrier itself to scan for the presence of any living Infinite Rabbits, and we found none. We can safely claim that the Infinite Rabbit has been eradicated from the underworld."

"I see, thank you, officer, now please clean up the interior of the prison. I will report this to my friend so he can handle the rest."

Receiving his order, the officer salutes Sirzech one more time and begins his task.

"Falbium should be the one who handles this matter. I will report this to him later. Keep up the good work, Lord Kyu."

"Of course, we still have five more extermination orders to clear after all", I said to Sirzech while preparing my teleportation magic.

"Huh, what?"

Before Sirzech can even react, I already take Ravel and Yubelluna with me to teleport to our next destination.

Unlike the Infinite Rabbit, the rest of the extermination orders are just a swarm of high-ranking demonic beasts with no special abilities except for a few elemental magic. Something that took us a few hours to clear.

Once everything has been cleared up, I let the soldiers handle most of the matters that come from the military side. All I need to do is wait for the announcement from Falbium himself to promote me to my new Noble ranking in the future.

There is no need for me to worry if Falbium ever decides to take this credit for himself. Other than the fact that I have lots of proof that I can use, I also believe he wouldn't want to get himself more annoying things to handle. That is the reason why I chose him in the first place.

In the end, everything goes smoothly without any problems. I got the merit that I need for the legality of my noble title, I also got a lot of good things that I can use to strengthen myself in the future. All I need is to keep myself away from any trouble that others may bring me.

For example, exterminating a demonic beast or whatever abomination exists out there.

Another thing to note is that my title will be legal from now on.

That means I can enter the rating game or take an extermination mission as I wish. I can even create my private army outside of my servants to do the extermination mission itself.

As for the awarding ceremony itself, It will be held one week from now on. I also need to do a few paperwork and stuff that was required to do for the preparation of the ceremony itself.

At first, I thought I was the only one who was granted this title. To my surprise, Ravel and Yubelluna also received a promotion reward as well.

Yubelluna was granted a promotion to the middle-class devil. All she needs to do is clear a few written tests and a combat test with a middle-class devil. Something that she can easily clear without any difficulty.

As for Ravel, she was given an offer to take the title of Margravine.

Why did I say given?

Because Ravel is a pure-blood devil.

She can either choose to take this offer or use her pure-blood lineage to achieve her title in the future. However, she ended up choosing the title of Margravine. She said that she wishes to have a similar title to mine.

Considering how Ravel uses her mind to create her moves, I dare to say that she will be a good military commander or advisor in the future.

What about Ravel's territory?

At first, I suggested that she take a land that is located near her family's territory. But it seems that she had a plan for the territory that she will pick. I did ask her about her plans but she said that it would be a surprise for me.

Once everything has been neatly laid down, we spend the rest of the week making sure to fulfill everything that we need to do for our promotion ceremony.

Once Ravel tells her parents about her promotion, both of them decide to hold a grand celebration party for us in their territory after our promotion ceremony.

To make things even more lively, I asked her parents for permission to invite the citizens of my territory to join the celebration in the Phenex mansion. Something they did not even dare to refuse at all.

One Week Later

"To those who were present within this noble and grand ceremony."

"By my name as one of the great Satan, Falbium Asmodeus. I declare the ascension of Lord Kyu the Baron into his new title for his achievement of slaying the enemies and threats of our devil race."

"I hereby declare him as Lord Kyu the Margrave, as he shall act as the shield who protects our race from dangers."

Once Falbium finishes his sentence, a series of loud claps and yells can be heard from the audience who has gathered in the vicinity of the ceremonial area to congratulate the newly promoted Margrave for his new noble title.

At the same time, the newly promoted Margrave spreads the certificate in his hands and shows it to the magical camera that projects the content of the certificate for everyone to see.

But the ceremony has not ended yet.

Because there is another devil who managed to acquire her new title without using her birthright as a pure-blood devil.

"Ravel Phenex."

"For your accomplishment in assisting your King to slay the enemies of the devil race, and for your growth as a high-class devil. You shall be granted the title of Margravine from this moment."

" Will you accept this title?"

"I accept, Lord Satan Falbium", replies Ravel while she kneels in front of Falbium who keeps showing his lazy expression for this ceremony.

"I hereby declare you as Ravel Phenex the Margravine. She shall act as the shield who protects our race from dangers", said Falbium while handing another certificate to Ravel.

"Now, stand up and place your hand upon this monument. Register yourself as a King among the devils, and you shall receive your own set of the Evil Pieces."

Ravel nods her head and stands up to her feet.

After that, she follows Falbium's order and imprints her hand and demonic energy on the monument

A sound of heartbeat and a flash of darkness appear from the monument.

After that, sixteen pieces of evil pieces appear in front of Ravel.

Seeing this, Ravel takes the King piece with her hand and places it into her chest. The King piece slowly enters her body and empowers her demonic energy ever further to the point of creating a gust of air that gently pushes her surrounding area.

Once the process has finished Ravel moves away from the monument and kneels in front of me.

On my side, I pick up the crown that has been prepared at my side and place it on Ravel's head. Signaling her position as my Queen while also showing her servitude to me for everyone in this place to see.

"Congratulations, Ravel. I am proud of you."

"It all thanks to you, my King. Please let me offer you my eternal gratitude", replies Ravel to me while standing up back to her feet.

"I will accept your gratitude. Now, present your achievements for everyone in this place to see."

Ravel nods her head and follows my order. She shows her noble certificate and her achievements to the public. Allowing herself to be known as the Margravine.

Once Ravel does that, another wave of applause reverberates across the room. This time, it comes from the Phenex family and everyone who was affiliated with them.

After everything on our part had finished, the reading of congratulations words from the guests was next. Something which took less than five minutes.

Later, once we left this ceremonial place, most of the audience also left the place and continued with their activities.

But for me and Ravel, we still need to celebrate our promotion in her home with a party that her family has prepared for us.

Most of the citizens from my territory are also invited to join this celebration party.

Phenex Mansion

Standing in the middle of the large aula with Ravel at my side, I accept handshake after handshake from many middle-class nobles who have come to this celebration ceremony to congratulate me on my new title.

Looking at Sirzech's arrival, Lord Phenex immediately welcomes him by offering him a handshake. On Sirzech's side, the Gremory family also comes together with him.

I can recognize some of their faces such as Zeoticus Gremory, Venelana Gremory, and Grayfia Lucifuge. But looks like, Rias did not come to this place. There is also a young boy with red-colored hair as well. I think that boy is Millicas Gremory.

"Ravel, Yubelluna, come on, let us greet them", I said to Ravel while standing up on my feet and offering my hand to Ravel.

Once we are ready, the three of us approach the group of Gremory and greet them with the best impression that I can make.

At her side, the white-haired maid, Grayfia Lucifuge was secretly pinching Sirzech's side once she saw him act like that in front of the masses.

"Ow~, ow~, Grayfia, come on, this is not a formal party."

"Even so, please keep your dignity as a Satan, Lord Sirzech", replies Grayfia with a threatening smile on her face.

Looking at Grayfia's strictness, the rest of the Gremory ended up letting out a sigh of understanding.

"Hahaha, come on Grayfia, cut Sirzech some slack. We are in the presence of the youngest Margrave and Margravine after all. Anyway, nice to meet you, young man. My name is Zeoticus Gremory, and I am Sirzech's father", said the middle-aged man with red hair while offering me a handshake.

"But~, father."

"Grayfia, this is not a formal ceremony. But first, Lord Kyu, and Ravel as well. Congratulations on achieving your title. I wish Rias was willing to put some more effort into her status as the noble devil", said the woman with flaxen-colored hair called Venelana Gremory.

"Thank you for your gracious words, Lady Venelana."

"Grayfia, you surely did not forget to introduce yourself and someone else, right?", said Venelana while moving her gaze to Grayfia.

"Pardon me for my impoliteness. My name is Grayfia Lucifuge. I am the wife of Sirzech Lucifer and the headmaid of the Gremory family. Pleased to meet you, Lord Kyu, and Miss Ravel."

"Likewise, Lady Grayfia. This one over here is?"

"Ah, nice to meet you, Lord Kyu, my name is Millicas Gremory."

"Yes, likewise, Millicas", I reply to Millicas's greeting by offering him a handshake as well.

Nothing extraordinary was happening from our introduction to each other. I am also refraining from mentioning Rias or anything related to her engagement with Riser.

Since Gremory is the guest with the highest rank within this place, most of us ended up keeping them accompanied by their stay within this place. At least until another group of high-ranking devils comes to this party.

"LADY SERAFALL LEVIATHAN AND HER ENTOURAGE HAVE ARRIVED."

This time, Serafall is the one who arrives at this party. She was accompanied by her father, mother, and surprisingly, Sona as well

That was probably the last straw before Serafall broke Sona's patience. At least until Serafall ended up using her little sister as bait for the secret of my strength.

Looking at Serafall's actions causes me to realize that Serafall will act the same as Sirzech when it comes to their little sister.

They would not hesitate to use someone else if it meant that they could give something to their little sister.

In this case, Serafall was confident that Sona would beat me in a chess match.

That way, Sona herself will gain even more fame for her intelligence while Serafall herself will get her hands on my secret to growth in power.
