"Yes, by the KiraKira pasteire." Glaive said, speaking into a walkie talkie and blushing a vibrant crimson. Pekorin was watching out the window and trying her hardest not to laugh. "Could you send someone to come get me? I'm too embarrassed to teleport, so could you- oh you will! Thank you!" The villain then puts the walkie away and it's revealed why.
He's upside down with his legs tied to a tree and he's rocking back and forth. To make the whole situation worse, at least for Glaive, Yukari added her own personal touches to his complexion, making him look very girly. Pekorin collapses backwards, laughing up a storm, and you can't blame her at all.
[The song playing over the whole scene is the Cartoon Network City 'Ed, Edd n Eddy' bumper music. To complete the reference, when Pekorin collapses back, the 2004-2010 logo appears with a rose-gold undercolor, inside the pasteire behind her.]
Intro gag line:
Ciel: There's a new team coming today. They might have something to do with world protection, but then again, we all do.
Instead of Japan or Star's domain, let's instead go to a new location. This location was a decrepit wasteland, with less vibrant colors and a much more muted land mass.
In this world, 3 clear bad guys lived. The lone female member, Shidoine, was doing some touch ups in the mirror. Daruizen, the first of the 3 to appear, was looking over the elements that they hadn't targeted yet and lastly, Guaiwaru, the strongest of the 3 was sitting by, brainstorming by himself.
"Okay, I think I got it." Daruizen stated and both turned to him. Before he could say anything, however, the lone female Byo-gen sighed.
"Before you say it, are you sure it will defeat the cures? Because, you know King Byo-gen will be mad if it fails." Shindoine asked, skeptical about his plan.
Daruizen rolled his eyes before responding: "Yes, I'm sure it will work this time! I've gone through the elements we've used and I've noticed that we haven't tried mixing them. All I gotta do is lump together 2 elements into one and the cures will never see it coming!"
Shindoine raised a finger only to promptly have Guaiwaru cover her mouth. "That's a great idea, go do that!" The complemented villain smiled and teleported away.
Guaiwaru moved his hand and Shindoine quickly glared at him. "Hey, I was just trying to prevent you from telling him how bad an idea it was. Plus, it could work."
"I-" Shindoine went to say before a weird feeling began to take hold. She looked around, not seeing anything before turning back to her teammate. "Hey, do you feel like something odd will transfire today. It just feels like something that the King wouldn't do."
Guaiwaru stared at her and then said: "No, I think you're just imagining it. Look, if you're so sure something will happen, I bet that this will be a normal day, if I'm right, you have to do something for me, if you're right, I'll do something for you. Deal?" He stuck his hand out.
"Deal!" Shindoine shakes his hand. With the bets made, both waited for an outcome.
Star's Domain
Meanwhile, the characters already brought over have played 2 minigames so far: the Bowser minigame Darts of Doom, with the participants being Majorina, Ira, Mamo and, against his wishes, Diable. Majorina scored 250, Ira 230. Mamo had a 200 and a Bowser bullseye.
"Mamo, nice shot." Bowser had said when the camera panned over. "If you meant to hit my face!" She promptly got the same punishment Akaoni got when this minigame was originally played.
The other one was Pier Factor. Pop, Pekorin, Makoto and Mana volunteered for the minigame. Pop got 12 points, Pekorin 8, Makoto 10 and Mana 11.
Now, everyone was looking over the full minigame list, wondering which minigame would play next. "Hhm, Mosh-Pit Playroom, that sounds interesting. How exactly is it played?" Yukari asked.
"I got this - kuru." Candy said to her team and brother and then turned to the KiraKira cast. "OK, so for this minigame, the participants will be in a mosh-pit filled with 200 balls - kuru. 50 will be red, 50 blue, 50 green and 50 yellow - kuru. In order to win, all 50 balls must be popped to win - kuru."
"Are we free to mess with each other in the minigame?" Erisio asked and Candy quickly replied: "You can, but the advice bluntly says it's a bad idea-kuru."
"I'm in!" Rio announced and Bibury, Regina and Akane each stepped up as well.
After stepping into the pods, on screen, the players were in the mosh-pit as some Fly Guys floated overhead. They each moved to the corners, with the colors being Akane red, Rio blue, Regina green and Bibury yellow. It was time for the action to begin!

As the contents of the box the Fly Guys held dumped over, the 200 balls bounced about as the players ran in to collect them. Bibury eventually led the pack with 27 balls collected, Rio was right behind at 25, Akane had 22 and Regina 21.
"Ok, I can see why messing with others wouldn't lead to success. There wouldn't be enough time to acquire all 50 balls of your color." Erisio conceded as the minigame was reaching its conclusion. It seemed like with only 1 ball left, Bibury was a shoo in to win. In comparison, Rio was 2 balls away and both Akane and Regina were 3 balls away.
Bibury followed where the ball was moving and jumped to catch it, meaning she had won the minigame.
Finish
Like before, the victorious former villain stood in the center of the arena. Above her was a couple of Fly Guy's who held a container filled with confetti. They floated up and poured its contents out while Bibury celebrated.
Everyone was sent back out and Bibury was cheered for winning the minigame. Then, everyone turned to the full minigame list. That was when Pekorin noticed a minigame title in the list, Flash and Dash.
"Flash and Dash - peko? Is this just Thrash 'n' Crash again -peko?" Pekorin asked, wondering why two minigames had near identical names.
"No, actually. This is a different minigame entirely." Star said before explaining how the minigame was played. After he was done, Davi floated up to Star.
"I'll face Bel, Ira and Mamo in this minigame - dabi. I am a little worried though, because I know my flying is neutered -dabi." Davi admitted.
Star okayed it and the 4 entered the machine, but before Davi did, she turned to Makoto.
"Just give it your best shot, Davi! We'll be rooting for you for this minigame." Makoto encouraged and the purple cat fairy smiled and then she entered.
The screen showed the three villains in a standard 'L' shape: Ira being in the center with Bel to the right and Mamo above. Davi, meanwhile, fell into the maze, farther from her opponents. They were all shrunk too, but DS's design choices were used to by this point.

Davi quickly ran downwards, using both her proximity detector from the trio and dark to her advantage as well. The villains, meanwhile, branched out. Illuminating areas with their flashlights and using their warning lights to find Davi.
The non players, meanwhile, having access to the map, can see where everyone playing is. With it, the closest to Davi was Ira, Mamo and Bel were both far away from the cat.
The 30 second time had reached halfway and Davi officially lasted longer than Yayoi, who was caught at 21 seconds. Davi looked at her alarm, on her arm for reference, to see 1 of 5 lights lit, meaning that she was currently in the clear. "OK, I'm currently in the clear, but I can't stay here for long - dabi. They will find me if I linger -dabi." Davi thought as she got moving again.
15, then 10, then 5. Time was ticking away and Davi had 4 seconds to survive. Ira noticed a purple floating ear, and quickly gave chase. Davi rounded a corner and Ira went to follow but time evaporated and Davi had done what Yayoi could not.
Finish
The lights turned on and Davi celebrated her victory. The cures all praised her for winning, with Yayoi clapping when the participants returned.
Before any other minigames are played, let's see what cures the Byo-gens were talking about, shall we!
It was a beautiful day and the cures were having a picnic. There were 4 humans and 4 fairies assembled. The cures were: Nodoka Hanadera a.k.a Cure Grace, leader of the team and forever continuing the trend where the pink cure was the lead cure of the team, Chiyu Sawaizumi a.k.a Cure Fontaine, the sporty blue cure, Hinata Hiramitsu a.k.a Cure Sparkle, the fashion obsessed and scatterbrained yellow cure, and Asumi Fuurin a.k.a Cure Earth, a spirit wished into existence thanks to one of the fairies and the Sixth Ranger purple cure.
As for the fairies, we had an even split in gender: 2 males and 2 females. The males were Pegitan, Chiyu's fairy who is very shy and nervous, and Nyatoran, Hinata's fairy, a cat fairy who is much more talkative and outgoing. The females, meanwhile, consist of Rabirin, Nodoka's fairy, who is very energetic in healing the earth, and Lady Latte, the daughter of Queen Teatine and the detector of Byo-gen attacks.
Introductions aside, the cures and fairies were each enjoying the food that Nodoka had prepared and talking about, well, just life in general. However, Rabirin was thinking to herself, a little concerned about how things were going.
"Why is today so odd-rabi? It feels as if something will happen, but what-rabi?" Rabirin questioned.
Nyatoran turned and noticed the rabbit fairy's nervous expression. Knowing that this wasn't how Rabirin acted normally, he made a motion with his paws to get her attention.
"Hey Rabirin, are you feeling okay-nya?" The tiger-cat fairy asked.
The rabbit looked around nervously, then sighed. "Have you noticed anything different today-rabi?"
"No, I mean it hasn't been any different than any other day-nya. The Byo-gens haven't attacked yet so it's quieter-nya. I think we are in the clear for any attacks today-nya!" Nyatoran confidently said, tempting Murphy's Law in the process.
Suddenly, Latte fell ill and the gem on her forehead went from blue to yellow. While Rabirin glared at the sweat dropping cat, Nodoka pulled out a stethoscope to check on her.
Safe to say, they were expecting only 1 element in pain, so when Lattle said "Both the seas and the minerals are crying." They were all shocked.
"Well, I figured that today was too quiet," Nodoka sighed before she and her teammates turned to the fairies with determined expressions, "You guys ready?"
"Like you even have to ask-pe." Pegitian said, shyly before he and the other fairies turned into transformation mode.
The cures grabbed them and Nodoka said: "Let's do this!"
The cures transformed and went to Dairuizen, with Earth taking Latte with them. They were going to save the world, no matter what it took!
Back to Star's Domain
A couple of minigames had been played while we were looking at Japan. First wa minigame, Dust 'til Dawn, where Pop faced Pekorin, Ai-chan and Ciel. The team successfully managed to clean their side of the house faster, winning the minigame in the process.
Next was a 2v2, specifically Dungeon Duos. This time around Aguri and Regina faced Bibury and Ichika. Bibury and Ichika managed to win, but they didn't break the record at 1 minute, 55 seconds. They got hung up on the 2nd pipe portion.
Lastly, was the 4 Player minigame, Water Ski Spree, with Miyuki, Akaoni, Yukari and Makoto. Miyuki got 20 coins, Akaoni 18, Yukari 13 and Makoto 12. Now everyone was looking over the minigame list, when Rio remembered what he said about Glaive during Horror Land.
"Hey Glavie, we should play a minigame while we have the time. Prove who is better, what do you say?" Rio asked.
"You're on! Star, got any other duel minigames?" the villain replied.
"Unfortunately, the only other one unlocked is Apes of Wrath, where you have to run away from angry monkey's for eating their apples. No, that is not a joke, they are uber aggressive," Star explained and the DokiDoki and KiraKira cast initially are confused before hearing "He isn't kidding." From Yayoi.
"Those monkeys kept chasing after me and Wolfrun when we played the minigame, and while I got away, Wolfrun wasn't as lucky, so maybe try something like Domination." Yayoi explained.
Star quickly explained how the minigame worked and both Rio and Glavie volunteered, Mamo quickly joined in and Nao was the last in. On screen, a line of Whomps appeared, with the record of 98 in the corner of the screen in green text. The camera moved into an over the shoulder view with the players holding hammers above color coded switches. The hits begin now!

The players hit the switch in front of them, summoning Whomps in a line in front of them. Since the more they do it, the more appears off-screen, keeping a speedy and swift pace was very important.
As the non-players watched, Lance was crossing his paws. He set that record fairly and he was worried that someone would end up breaking it. However, thinking it over more, it's just a record in a game that doesn't mean anything, so he shouldn't be too upset.
Eventually, time expired and the players' hammers faded. Now it was time to see who won it after all!
Finish
Play How Many? (Mario Party 4)
The participants jumped on the switch and punched the first Whomp and started the Whomp domino trains. As they fell, Mamo nervously crossed her fingers. "Please let me win this one, whatever Gods are watching, please. I've been so screwed over with the previous minigames, so just let me have this one, PLEASE!"
While she did this, Nao's dominos stopped at 78, Rio's stopped at 85 and Glavie at 88. Mamo's meanwhile finally stopped at 101 switch hits, breaking the record set by the yellow bear fairy. Mamo, realizing that she won, jumped and landed on the Whomp that popped up at the end. Mamo was happy because she had finally won a minigame.
As the players were sent back, Star had locked in the cure team to be brought over next, with them being the last ones for today. So, looking up from his phone, he cleared his throat and said "All right, everyone! We have enough time for one last minigame. Afterwards, one more Pretty Cure team, their fairies and villains will be brought over. So, if you want a specific minigame played, you gotta request fast."
"Well, if we only have one more minigame to play, would you mind starting Dress for Success?" Miyuki asked.
"Of course! Oh right, some of you are confused. For this one, cards of the participating players will appear above. There will be two cards, a face card and a body card and below will be 3 fake cards, 2 of them will be of the bodies of some of the non participants while the last one will look like the actual card but there is a difference. For example, if Mana is a participant, the fake card would have the heart on her shirt missing." Star explained and the KiraKira cast thought of what their difference would be.
"The real card will be placed in with the 3 fakes, they will be shuffled and it's up to the players to choose the correct card. If they do, they get a point which is represented by a star. Whoever can get 3 points or the most after all 4 players cards have been showcased, wins!"
"I'm in!" Yayoi volunteered to take the first pod, wanting to play it ever since she first saw it. Miyuki quickly took the 2nd one, leaving only 2 spots.
Alice took the third pod and Ichika took the last one. All 4 were now in a green room, separated from each other. Miyuki was red, Ichika blue, Alice green and Yayoi yellow. (BTW: Alice's emblem is a clover designed to look like a rose on a golden background while Ichika's is a whip that would be used in baking pastries with the hint of rabbit ears on a pink background.) It was time to see who could remember cards the best!
Play Contemplation (Mario Party DS)
Start
Round 1 was Alice with the fake cards being Lance, Regina and Alice with the difference being that the white parts were a pale yellow. The real card moved into the collection, they flipped over and shuffled. Upon stopping, the players had to move the card they thought was right, with their emblem on the other side.
"Wait a minute, why is Yayoi's card marked with a peace sign and a lighting bolt? Star, care to explain." Akaoni inquired.
Star sighed before saying "I was wondering when someone would ask that question. These are your emblems, symbols that represent each character. Everyone has one, like for example, all cures emblems are colored and designed by cure name and anything to set it apart. The fairies and villains will each have something that defines them as well. Make sense now?"
While Akaoni thought of how to reply, on-screen, all 4 cures had claimed a point and the minigame was on round 2: Miyuki, with the fake cards being Wolfrun, Candy and the girl with her pink vest closed so you can't see the yellow internal designs. "OK, I guess that makes sense."
The girls each pick their cards and when they flip over, all of the cures, except Ichika, picked the right card. Ichika had the card with Candy's body.
As the KiraKira villains laugh at the rabbit girl's misfortune, made clear by the fact that Ichika's picture was the only one who frowned of the 4 participants, the potential final round was Ichika herself. The fake cards were Nao, Ciel and herself, with the difference being that the fake is missing a button. The real card is added to the fakes and shuffled.
Ichika, having watched the cards, smiled. "As if I would misremember my body!" Pushing up the card that was right. The other 3 followed suit, the cards flipped and while Ichika was correct, so were Alice and Miyuki, Yayoi had chosen the missing button card, This meant that Alice and Miyuki had won the minigame!
Finish
While both the fairy tale enjoyer and rich girl were ecstatic, everyone knew that soon, a new group would be introduced. With the four players returned, Star walked to the middle of the room.
"All right! It is time to bring in the final team for today!" Star announced and both the DokiDoki and KiraKira characters were confused as to why. "If you're about to ask why, there are 18 teams all over Japan. If you think I will bring them all here today, you're crazy."
The villains all have shocked expressions at that statement. 18 cure teams! That means 18 evil forces all trying to take over the world. However, the Smile villains aren't as shocked since they already knew how many there were.
"Yeah, just think about that while I bring the next team. Pekorin, Ciel, I'll need you two to explain Will Flower to them. Can you do that for me, please?" Star asked. Ciel gave a thumbs up while Pekorin said "You can count on us - peko!"
Star teleported all of the assembled characters to the secret room and traveled to the main green room. "OK! Let's start this operation!" the Birdo said. It was time to bring them over!
Meanwhile in Japan:
Dairuzen watched as the Healin' Good cures had reached the Mega Byo-gens that he had created. He smiled deviously, there was no way he would lose today!
As Cure Earth gently set the sick pup down on the ground, the remaining cures looked at both forces, one with the seas and one with the minerals. "OK, we should split our forces, me and Chiyu will deal with the water Byo-gen, Hinata and Asumi, why don't you guys take care of the rocky Byo-gen." Grace commanded and the 3 other cures responded in general agreement.
Dairuizen watched from a distance as the cures moved to attack their respective Byo-gens, but he wasn't too worried. In fact, as he subtly started to float down, while the cures used their respective abilities on the Byo-Gens, he was actually intending to take away Lady Latte. After all, without their main way to detect Byo-Gens, how would they know if one was active?
Since purple is powerful, Earth and Sparkle managed to quickly purify the mineral Byo-Gen and while Sparkle quickly floated over to help Grace and Fontaine, Earth turned around and noticed where Dairuizen was floating to.
"NO! Not today!" Earth yelled before floating over to block Dairuizen's access to the young pup.
The villain had reached the pup by this point. Picking Latte up, he turned to see Earth giving him a sharp glare.
"Dairuizen, put the puppy down, now." Earth said with clear malice in her voice.
"Let me think about it, NO! You'll never get her back!" Dairuizen gloated back, but while he gloated, the same green pipe started to appear below where he floated.
"Maybe you didn't hear me correctly," Earth said as she began to get up close to the villain. Meanwhile, Lady Latte had been healed thanks to the fact that the remaining 3 girls had healed the seas. Looking down, while being held, she spotted the pipe and began to wiggle which distracted Dairuizen.
"Hey, stop moving so much, I can't — wait a minute, who sent this pipe? No seriously, WHO SENT THIS PIPE?" Dairuizen yelled, finally spotting the pipe.
"Don't look at me, I didn't make it. Now, are you going to hand over Lady Latte or do I have to take her by force. For both our sakes, I'd hand her over." Earth started with her hands outstretched.
The villain looked at the pipe, then to Earth, whose annoyance was showing, then to Lady Latte, who was looking at the pipe, wondering who sent the pipe, knowing it wasn't her mother. Dairuizen then looked past Earth, seeing the other cures coming this way, and made his decision.
"See ya!" he announced before diving into the pipe with Lady Latte in his hands. Earth briefly looked shocked, before jumping in herself, trying to get the pup back.
"Asumi, wait!" Grace yelled, but she was too late and the girls and their fairy transformation items watched as she disappeared in front of them.
Rabirin gasped and realized that this was the weird feeling she felt earlier. "Well, that explains the weirdness I felt earlier - rabi. Nodoka, we have to get Lady Latte back - rabi! Her Mom won't be pleased if we return without her - rabi!"
Pegitan turned to her almost immediately and said: "Uhh, Rabirin, I'm all for saving Lady Latte, but shouldn't we check if it's safe first -pe?"
"I'm with Pegitan. What if that pipe leads to the villains, or worse? Let's just wait and - RABIRIN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Grace started to say only for Rabirin to revert back to fairy mode and fly into the pipe.
"I guess that question has been answered," Sparkle commented before taking a running start and jumping into the pipe, whooping excitedly all the way and Nyatoran shared a similar juxtaposition. Grace shrugged and then joined in leaping in the pipe. Leaving only Fontaine and Pegitan.
The sporty girl and the penguin walked up to the pipe, trying to inspect it the best they could. However, since the bottom was not visible, Pegitan was visibly shaking. "Easy Pegitan, easy. We'll go in slow so you'll see that there's nothing to worry about, OK?"
"O-ok, Chiyu-pe." Pegitan fearfully replied. Fontaine sat down on the edge of the pipe and pushed herself until her feet were over the hole. She stood up and, along with the penguin, officially entered the pipe. As soon as she did, time stopped in the area and the pipe faded away.
Meanwhile, both Shindoine and Guaiwaru both waited for Dairuizen to return from his, most likely, failed attempt at defeating the PreCures. Shindoine went back to touching up her make-up while Guaiwaru stood watching her.
"Well, this should be when he should have returned. Do you think the Cures got him?" Guaiwaru asked.
"I don't think so. He may be a buffon, but he's smarter than he lets on. He'll return. That is unless the weird feeling that I felt happens again." The lone female responded and Guaiwaru rolled his eyes in annoyance. As the strongest of the three generals walked away, a pipe rose up behind Shindoine.
Guaiwaru walked back to find a pipe and Shindoine oblivious. Smiling, he was about to turn it into a Byo-gen, when its suction turned on. Guaiwaru quickly grabbed the first thing he could: Shindoine as both were pulled in and time stopped in the villains realm as well.
Shindoine looked around while in the pipe, seeing the Cures and Dairuizen as well. She couldn't see very well, since it was dark in the pipe, but she might've seen a certain female puppy dog.
As the characters fell, the cures started to flicker a bright light, before reverting back to their non-powered forms. However, that wasn't the oddest thing Shindoine witnessed. The oddest thing was Nodoka, who was responsible for her creation, Chiyu, Hinata and Asumi getting tossed into a splinter pipe and taken away from the fairies.
"This is really trippy," Dairuizen stated as they watched the cures get taken away, "I wonder who sent the pipe anyway."
"I don't care who sent it - nya. I just wanna know who broke Hinata and the rest's Cure forms-nya!" Nyatoran said annoyed.
"And I want you to let Lady Latte go -rabi!" The rabbit fairy said, directing her ire toward Dairuizen. Latte, meanwhile, was looking for any sort of exit and upon noticing a similar exit, she let out a bark.
"What's that, pup? You see an exit?" Guaiwaru asked, no longer holding Shindoine, knowing that he lost the bet with her. Upon an affirmative bark, everyone watched as they were shot out of the pipe and, some sort of feminine, dinosaur creature walked up to them and did a finger motion.
Getting to their feet, Dairuizen was quick to analyze the room, still holding Latte firmly. "Hello there," the Birdo said as Guaiwaru wanted to make a MegaByo-gen, but just couldn't do it.
"Guaiwaru, I know what you just tried to do, so that ability has been removed, no I will not give it back, don't ask." Star said.
"Why in the world would you do that you-uhh, I'm sorry, what are you meant to be?" Guaiwaru harshly asked and Rabirin and Nyatoran floated up, both with a question.
"Are you a dinosaur-rabi? Because, you're a really pretty one-rabi." Rabirin said, causing the Birdo to blush.
"Kind of, I'm actually a Birdo. Thanks for the compliment by the way, I appreciate it, Rabirin." Star replied and then turned to Nyatoran.
"Why exactly did you bring us here, whatever here is-nya? Where's Hinata-nya?" The tiger-cat asked.
"I'm gonna save the first question for later and don't worry about Hinata. She isn't dead." Star responded. The Birdo then turned to Dairuizen, still carrying Latte in his hands. "Hey Diaruizen, could you bring Latte over here, I wanna give her something."
"Yeah, OK." Dairuizen replied and he walked over, still carrying the puppy. Star pointed to the royal dog and snapped his claw-fingers, leading some of them to notice the ring.
"Alright, Latte, try thinking of something to say." Star said
"Like this?" Latte said in her mind and everyone, sans Star, gasped in shock. Latte in particular was the most stunned, with her eyes widened. "Did you just give me the ability to speak telepathically, without the use of the stethoscope?"
"Yes I did! That way, you can communicate with everyone more easily until you can speak verbally in proper sentences." Star explained.
"Thanks, Star!" The puppy said happily.
"Hey, you're welcome. Anyway, take any open seats in the area, I wanna show you something." Star said and everyone took their seats, with Latte and sitting in a seat near Star.
The big screen in front turned on and, on a blue, dream-like background, the words 'Will Flower' were above. With the cures being listed with Nodoka and Chiyu on the left and Hinata and Asumi on the right.
"This is a minigame, each one has a different method of gameplay. For this one, Latte, if one of the villains launched an attack on flowers, what would you say?" Star inquired
"I would say that the flowers are crying and the cures would know what to do." Latte responded truthfully.
"Well, for this one, the players must use the power of their minds to heal a sunflower." Star stated and Dairuizen rolled his eyes.
"How do you heal something that has already died? It makes no logical sense!" This caused Pegitan to shyly reply.
"You say that now, but magic is something that exists-pe."
"He's right, you know, Dai. Anyway, the winner is the first player to revitalize their sunflower. This minigame also has a default record from the previous time it was played: 15 seconds." Star exposited further.
"That's not a lot of time-nya. I mean, you'd have to be really good at healing in order to it-nya" Nyatoran stated.
"Or, be really good at button mashing, like a certain member of FWOB." Star said, quietly..
Meanwhile, for the PreCures, their splitting apart led to them being dumped into the pregame room via pipe. Asumi stood up quickly.
"Dairuizen, you will give back - wait a minute, where'd he go? And where are we?" she asked before turning to the remaining cures and gasping. "Girls, why are you not in cure form?"
Nodoka and Hinata noticed the fact that they were reverted back to standard form, while Chiyu realized why. "The fairies are missing, we got separated while in the pipe! That means the fairies are with the Byo-gens!" Asumi's expression changed immediately.
"Then we have to find a way out of here, does anyone have any ideas?" The spirit inquired, However, before anyone could reply, a crackling noise indicated a loudspeaker turning on, surprising Asumi.
"Hello -peko. Can your girls hear us -peko?" Pekorin asked.
"Yes, we can hear you. Did you intend to bring us here?" Chiyu said and Asumi agreed.
"OK! Good, because we need to give you guys important information. As for your second question, no, we weren't responsible, but someone we know was." Ciel responded.
"Don't fret about it now -peko! You'll meet them later, but right now, we have to explain what's about to happen -peko." Pekorin said, and then she and Ciel explained what a minigame was and how Will Flower worked, before leaving them to it.
Eventually, the viewers saw the 4 cures jump into the minigame, while the participants were now in a room surrounded by assorted Mario characters. From left to right: Nodoka, Chiyu, Hinata and Asumi stood on rugs. Four Shy Guys walked into the room, each carrying a dead sunflower. Gently placing them down in front of them, all four only had one thought heading in: Willpower, don't fail me now!

The cures start sending will, to return the sunflower's life. Asumi, being a literal spirit of health, was doing the best, noticed by the leaves rising up. Chiyu and Hinata were behind her with Nodoka being behind them.
As the floral plant leaves raised up, one finally bloomed at 14'23! Asumi had managed to bring her sunflower back to life and broke the default record in the process. Next to finish was Hinata at 15 seconds flat, meaning that it was between Nodoka and Chiyu in the race for 3rd place.
Rabirin and Pegitan both waited to see who would take 3rd from the cures they were linked to. "Hey Nyatoran, who do you think will finish 3rd between Nodoka and Chiyu?" Latte inquired and the tiger-cat thought it over.
"I'm not sure-nya. Both are doing well with healing but, I think Nodoka's will bloom first-nya." Nyatoran responded.
"Are you sure-pe? Chiyu was near Hinata in placement, so Nodoka would have to willing it harder for her to take 3rd-pe." Pegitan replied.
While the fairies discussed it, the Smile, DokiDoki and KiraKira casts watched as Nodoka and Chiyu battle to bloom their sunflower.
"Looks like that blue girl's flower will bloom in 3, 2, 1." Akaoni commented and as he called it, Chiyu's flower bloomed at 16 seconds. "Called it!" the oni said.
Finish
As Asumi celebrated, Miyuki, Mana and Ichika were interested in Nodoka. As the leaders of their PreCure squad, getting to meet a new group is always great to see!
The Healin' Good cures were brought into the green room with the big screen turning off. Asumi quickly turned to Latte, happiness clear as day on her face. "Lady Latte, you're okay!"
"Of course I'm ok. Besides, the Byo-gens can't make any Megabyo-gens." Latte replied, causing the cures to stare with wide eyes.
"Did you just speak without the use of the magic stethoscope and what do you mean by 'can't make Megabyo-gens?'" Nodoka asked, seeing Shindoine cheekily waving at her and both Dairuizen and Guaiwaru glaring at, what looked like a dinosaur with a bow.
"Ask the Birdo, why don't you?" Dairuizen snidely replied.
"Hey, you know why I took that ability away! Look me dead in the eyes and tell me you weren't going to try and wreck the place?" Star said, sassily putting his hands on his hips.
The villain stared back, trying to come up with a good enough reply but nothing came to him and Dairuizen looked away, muttering annoyed.
"Yeah, that's what I thought. As for the 4 of you," Star said, turning to the PreCure's assembled, "yes, I did give Latte telepathic speech and yes, I have knowledge of your identities, so don't lie. Just don't do it."
The Birdo walked to the center of the room and then turned around: "Now, it's time to explain why I brought you all here." and so, he did.
When Star finished, the cures and Latte, Nyatoran and especially Rabirin were really excited to participate, proving how good you are at dice rolls and minigames. Pegitan, meanwhile, was a bit more hesitant. Some of the minigame types seemed really scary and he wasn't as positive about the whole situation.
As for the Byo-gens, the three were a mixed bag. Guaiwaru was the most intrigued, any excuse to face the cures and potentially defeat them is something that he'll always enjoy doing. Shindoine had a more meh response, while she was intrigued, at the same time, it seemed as if it would take too long. Lastly, Dairuizen had a bored expression, this wasn't something that interested him all too much.
"Hold on, were we the only ones brought over?" Nodoka asked and Star simply said "No."
Star then snapped his claws and the last 3 groups were brought into the room. "These are those who have already been brought over, mingle with them. You'll find that everyone has different motivations!"
The cures, fairies and villain groups, walked over to the 3 groups already made and the introductions started.
"Four new cures have officially joined our ranks. What do you guys defend against?" Asumi inquired and one after another, first Nao, then Alice and finally Himari.
"Preventing a bad ending for the world." Nao replied.
"Saving the Trump kingdom and people's desires." Alice said.
"The dulling of the tastes of sweets." Himari responded. "How about you four, oh and what are your civilian and cure names?"
"We protect the various elements that make up the world that we live in. As for names, I'm Nodoka Hanadera and my Cure name is Grace." Nodoka stated, giving way to the remaining Healin' Good cures!
"Chiyu Sawaizumi and my cure name is Fontaine." "My name is Hinata Hiramitsu and Sparkle is my cure name!" "Greetings to all of you, my name is Asumi Fuurin, a spirit from the Healing Garden, and my Cure name is Earth."
The Smile, DokiDoki and KiraKira a la Mode cures introduced themselves as common courtesy with them meeting each other. Ciel also revealed her fairy form, as a way to make sure that everyone knew it.
"Wait, if we were brought here to play a board game, who has already won a board?" Hinata asked.
"I have!" Miyuki responded and then pointed to Candy, who was busy chatting with Rabirin and Pegitan, and Regina, who was conversing with Bibury and Shindoine, "Both Candy and Regina have won boards as well."
"OK, but did you have any troubles or noticed any wilted or struggling elements while in the machine?" Asumi asked.
"No, not exactly," Akane replied. "We haven't noticed anything too while we were in the game."
Asumi seeingly accepted the reply, but was still a little worried about the whole situation. A quick look to her teammates assuaged those fears, they'd be able to get through this, she just knows it!
After some time, Star walked to the center of the room and cleared his throat. "OK! Everyone, please follow me, I have something to showcase to all of you." The Birdo walked to the already established auxiliary rooms. The Smile, DokiDoki and KiraKira casts followed behind, some more peppy than others, the new characters followed a bit more hesitantly.
Passing the minigame, music and board history rooms, everyone was now in a charcoal black room. In it was a camera and a background in front.
"A camera? Star, you didn't say that we would get our pictures taken." Miyuki said, a bit unprepared.
"I know. Anywho, this room is a bit special," Star said as the characters looked around the area, "in this room, we can take pictures. However, these photos will be based entirely on the boxarts of the Mario Party games. How it works is that before the photo, I'll show all of you the OG version, then we'll do a version by ourselves. Sounds good?"
The cast thought it over and while most of the girls were fine with it, some of them, mostly the villains, weren' , majority rules and so, Star took the responses as a yes.
"Now, we will only do 1 today. I figured that we don't wanna be here long. We will start with the first Mario Party that I, personally, ever played: Mario Party 8!" Star announced. "Here is the original picture for the game."
The Cures, fairies and redeemed characters and the villains were shown the original. (A/N Using the group artwork for the 8th game, BTW.) Pegitan had a nervous expression looking at a certain turtle monster. "W-what is that-pe?" he asked, trembling.
"That's Bowser. He's the main antagonist of the Mario series and, with one exception, is normally the main threat to watch out for." Star replied as the characters ogled the Mario cast and saw what they had to work with. Miyuki in particular was staring at the one male at the front of the group.
"So that is what Mario looks like, I expected him to be a much more fantastical person if he's the hero of his own world." The girl thought. Eventually, Star turned on the background, which was the Star Carnival.
"Now, we will make the photo our own. Pick where you wanna stand and we'll get this photo taken." The Birdo said and he and the others picked their spots.
At the front of the pack were the lead cures, each one doing something different. Miyuki waved, Mana was giving a thumbs up, Ichika was looking back at the assembled group with a smile and Nodoka was looking ahead to the future. Rabirin and Charle floated above their respective cure, both with excitement on their faces. Pop dashed by on the ground, looking behind him to where Candy was. The female fairy jumped a bit higher with a bit of a fearful expression, with Latte behind her in mid bark.
Ai-chan floated above, with Pekorin, Lance and Nyatoran with her, all of them smiling happily. Below stood Akaoni and Rio, the former pointing his club forward and the latter smiling. Bibury had some coins on her, while both Shindoine and Regina followed behind Nodoka and Mana respectively. Pegitan was also in the air, but his wide eyes and wayward body parts, implied that he was thrown. The seeming culprit? Guaiwaru and/or Bel considering that Davi and Rachel were in similar positions.
Star stood in between Aoi, who was in a rocking out position, and Nao, who had a confident expression on her face, doing an identical pose that Birdo in the actual image did. Akane confidently pointed ahead while both Diable, reluctantly, and Dairuizen, emphatically, stood near Yayoi and Alice, both yellow girls, working together to form an 8 with their hands. Majorina and Aguri both waved, neither acknowledging Erisio about to toss some cards out.
Rikka stood at the end of the group with a smirk and both Reika and Makoto's fingers were shaped to look like an M and a P, to form MP8. Finally, Ciel and Asumi were both giving rabbit ears to one of the characters, the former picked Rio and the latter chose Latte. Those who weren't in the photo just watched as the picture was taken.
After the photo was taken, Star called everyone back to the green room and he had an important announcement as well.
"Now, before we pick players for today's final board, and showcase the intro for Mario Party 4, I have something to announce. For this board, we will use 8 Players!" Star revealed, causing some gasps to ring out.
"E-eight players-pe? Didn't you say that this game is meant for four-pe?" Pegitan asked, eyes widened.
"I gotta side with the penguin fairy, Star, I clearly heard you say four players." Dairuizen said, causing the penguin to stare at him gobsmacked.
"Well, normally it is four people, but it is eight players. Let me explain, exclusive to Mario Party 7 is a mode that, while still having four people in mind, allows for multiple people to control the game. To give an example of what I mean, Latte, Rachel, could the two of you please come up here?" Star requested and both dog fairies obliged. "Imagine that these two were connected to each other, all of the coins he gets, she has and all of the items that Latte receives, with a few exceptions, Rachel has access to."
"Does that mean in that hypothetical scenario Latte and I are partners-keru?" the blue dog fairy asked.
"And what exactly do you mean by 'with a few exceptions', are there items that I can use but he can not?" Latte inquired next.
"Yes to both questions," Star responded, "to go further into detail, on every turn, both characters roll dice blocks that have values between 1-5, thus making it nearly impossible to roll a 1. After both characters roll, what happens on that turn is dependent on who is in control by turn number. Using the Latte/Rachel example again, say Latte is in control for turns that end in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 and Rachel is in control for turns that end in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 0, with that in mind, point to the fairy that would be in control for turn 13."
Everyone pointed to the female puppy dog and Star clapped and gave a claws up.
"Nicely done! Latte is in control because it's an odd numbered turn. As these dogs travel across the board, various prompts will appear, asking which direction to go on junctions, buying items and certain happening spaces and duel spaces. While you can discuss it, the one making decisions has the final say." The Birdo explained and the anthropomorphic wolf raised a paw.
"How does this affect the minigames?" Wolfrun asked.
"Great question! With the minigames, for end of turn minigames, the one in command is the one who takes part in the minigame. So if on a turn where Rachel has the power, he'll represent these two in the minigame and vice versa for Latte. However, there are 2 exceptions to this rule. Firstly, for duel, Bowser and Donkey Kong minigames, you choose a volunteer for the minigame. So if, say Latte isn't confident in her abilities to win Jump, Man, then Rachel can step in for her. Oh, and uh, the Bonus Mic minigame counts to this rule as well." the Birdo explained.
"OK, that makes sense. However, you said that there were 2 exceptions, what's the other exception?" Bibury asked.
"The other exception is that sometimes the end of turn minigame is swapped out for an 8 Player minigame. These minigames see all eight players play some sort of role, where the team that performs the best comes away with 10 coins." Star replied and Nyatoran immediately had a question.
"How many 8 Player minigames are there and what about team names-nya?" was the tiger-cat's question.
"In total, there are 12 8 Player minigames to answer your first question. As for your second question, the team names in the game are based on marine animals, to fit in with the traveling around the world gimmick. The names being Team Dolphin, Team Seagull, Team Tuna and Team Mollusk. While it works for the game, I don't think these names fit any of you." Star explained.
"You'd be right to think that. I mean, I think any of us could come up with something better. Please tell us you didn't go with those names." Ira pleaded.
"Don't worry, I didn't go with those names. Instead, I went with names that fit better." Star said and Ira breathed a sigh in relief.
"As for your question Latte, every character in the game has a orb that they and one other person can use. However, only they can use it, if someone steals the orb or their partner doesn't have that orb in their set, they won't be able to use it. Since there are more of you here, some of you will share orbs." Star finished his explanation before everyone turned to the big screen.
"Now, before we go into any of that, we gotta showcase Mario Party 4's intro!" the Birdo said and Latte and Rachel sat down in a chair.
The big screen showcased a glimpse of space, before quickly panning down to 19 of the 20 cures standing in front of the KiraKira Patisserie. Miyuki appeared on screen and all 20 cures were present.
"Well, this is relatively tamer compared to 2 and 3." Mana commented and before anyone could ask, the Smile and DokiDoki casts explained what happened in the intros for both games.
"Well, I guess one difference from last time is that we are outside the Patisserie. It's a nice setting compared to just being Miyuki's house again. No offense, Miyuki!" Ichika stated and Miyuki replied "None taken."
Suddenly, a loud boom was heard causing all of them to turn around and spot a cloud formation heading their way. The Healin' Good cures were showcased first.
"Did the news say anything about clouds today? I could've sworn it was a clear sky day." Nodoka asked Chiyu while Hinata gasped and covered her mouth and Asumi gave the cloud a suspicious look.
"The news said we weren't supposed to get clouds until tomorrow." Chiyu replied.
"Weren't supposed to get clouds today-rabi? If that's the case, then either the news lies or it's another attack by the Byo-gens-rabi!" Rabirin declared but Pegitan shook his head.
"Rabirin, we'd know if that were the case if Latte was sick and this isn't the same thing-pe." Rabirin groaned upon realization, but still held hope.
The cloud formation revealed itself to be what looked to be a gray plastic bag with a red ribbon tied around it, and it was only getting closer. The KiraKira girls were focused on next.
Himari and Aoi both had nervous expressions while staring at the bag. Ciel and Yukari both were confused and lastly, Ichika asked "Did someone order more supplies for our next pastries?"
"No, we have everything we need for that Ichika." Akira replied.
"A bag? Definitely not one of the villains' plans."Nodoka said and all of the villains were in agreement.
As the bag grew closer, the DokiDoki cures were showcased next. While Rikka began to start mumbling unintelligible gibberish, Alice, Aguri and Mana looked at the bag nervously, Mana more than the other 2. Makoto, meanwhile, started to wonder, just who sent the bag.
Finally, the bag shadowed over all of the girls and the Smile cures, specifically Miyuki were shown. She simply had a solitary question. "What's in the bag in the first place?"
While none of the watchers knew the answer to that question, one of the fairies noticed that they weren't present.
"Hold on-kuru. How come I'm not with Miyuki and her friends-kuru? Did they leave me behind again-kuru?" Candy wondered, a bit worried.
The bag moved to the middle of the area, causing all of the cures to move to the side. The girls watched as the bag stopped its momentum and then started to open itself up revealing a pristine white cube?
"That's it? A white cube? What were we so worried about?" Makoto asked only for Star to reply "Hold on, there's more."
A pan to the top of the cube saw the fairies pop out, all wearing different outfits. Candy was in the middle of the group wearing a rose pink ribbon on her head and a black and white bow tie tied around her neck. The remaining fairies either were dressed up as wizards/witches, carnival runners, beach wear, jungle wear or identical outfits, with slight differences, to Candy.
"Hold on-rabi. So, you mean to tell us that we were responsible for this whole situation-rabi?" Rabirin asked, shocked.
"I think so, yeah. However, I think the real question is when did you guys get the time to make all of this?" Ciel asked back.
"Considering that Candy is in the center of all of us-peko. I think we might've mixed up our magic to make it-peko." Pekorin inferred.
On screen, Candy started to speak with the 20 assembled females. "Hey, everybody-kuru! We're so glad that you're here-kuru."
Miyuki pulled out a letter while Candy spoke and just noticed that the stamp on it resembled Candy. "Wow! I didn't see Candy when I woke up today, all I had was a letter. I wonder if the remaining girls got letters like this as well."
The other 19 cures had near identical letters, but the stamped character varied. Akane and Yayoi also had Candy while Nao and Reika had Pop, the Dokis had their respective fairy and Aguri had Ai-chan. Ichika, Himari and Aoi had Pekorin, Akira and Yukari had Chourou and Ciel had Pikario and the Healin' Good cures had their respective fairy and Asumi had Latte.
"Wow, you guys really thought ahead for this whole thing." Makoto commented.
"I'm impressed," Diable said, legitimately giving praise. "You gave them letters to gather and then you explained what was going on. Very devilish of you all."
"Hey, that was not any of our indication, we probably have something else prepared." Rio responded, causing Diable to roll his eyes and leer.
"This is the Party Cube, and you're all invited-kuru!" Candy announced as the fairies behind her danced. As 10 of the Cures were showcased one after another, Nyatoran spoke up next.
"This thing is just chock-full of fun-nya!" The remaining 10 were showcased one after another as the camera cut back to the top of the cube. "Come on-keru! We'd like to show you around-keru!" Rachel stated and the cube shimmered brightly. All of the fairies, in unison and saying their respective verbal tics, yelled: "Let's party!" as the intro came to a close.
After a brief beat of silence, Candy said "Let's party indeed-kuru!"
"That was amazing! However, I'm not sure if this one was better or worse than 2 or 3." Hinata commented. As conversation continued, Star walked up and picked Mario Party 7 from the board list.
After thinking it over, he selected Pagoda Peak from the list of boards. "Now, for this board, the pods to enter the game are modified so that 2 people can enter each one. Whoever sits on the left will have command on odd numbered turns and vice-versa for the right. Oh, and if we get a minigame where fighting is allowed, make sure you bring your fairy with you."
Nao and Reika both stood up. "Well, Miyuki, Yayoi and Akane have already gone, so I guess it's our turn." Reika said.
"Yup! Process of elimination. Which turns do you wanna control?" Nao inquired.
"I think I'll take the odd numbered turns, are you fine with the evens?" Reika asked. Nao shook her head affirmatively and sat down in the pod. Reika on the left and Nao on the right.
Mana stood up and walked to the pod as Charle turned into transformation trinket form. "Hmm, does anyone wanna partner with me?"
"Sorry Mana, but I have to stay out for now. Plus, I don't wanna cause confusion with Reika." Rikka explained.
"OK, Makoto, Alice, what about you since Aguri already played." Mana asked.
"I think Lance wants another shot, so I'll be your partner." Alice replied and, with Lance sat down on the left, leaving Mana with the right.
Yukari and Akira both stood up and walked to the third pod. They'd already had experience working with each other, so this was a no brainer. Akira took the left side and Yukari the right side.
Lastly, Rabirin was mega excited. However, upon looking up at Nodoka, she noticed that she didn't have the same exuberance so she needed to do some convincing.
"Hey Nodoka, I wanted to say that I'm sorry, I was more focused on getting Latte back from Dairuizen-rabi. I'm kinda curious about this whole board thing. Do you wanna volunteer-rabi?" Rabirin asked, being apologetic.
Nodoka turned to the pink rabbit and, after thinking it over, said "I forgive you Rabirin and, yes I think I will volunteer, but who to work with?"
"Well, Asumi's out-rabi. I don't think she wants to be separated from Latte for a couple of minutes-rabi." Rabirin said.
"Hmm, I think Hinata's out too. She might not do well if we get a memory minigame on her turn. So, that only leaves Chiyu. Now, we just have to convince Pegitan. I'll go to Chiyu and you go to Pegitan, sounds good?" Nodoka asked.
"Sounds good-rabi!" the rabbit replied and both went over to convince their respective members.
Now while convincing Chiyu was easy, all Nodoka had to do was ask and Chiyu accepted, convincing Pegitan proved to be a challenge.
"No way-pe." Pegitan firmly said.
"Oh come on, Pegitan-rabi. I know you have your scared moments, but we may never be able to do this again-rabi." Rabirin responded.
"The answer is still no-pe. Look, you're right, I am a little nervous, but I'm just worried that- Rabirin, stop trying to do sad rabbit eyes-pe." Pegitan started to say before noticing that the rabbit's eyes were much wider and tearing up while whimpering.
Rabirin just floated closer, still using sad rabbit eyes and Pegitan had no choice but sigh. "Alright, fine-pe! But, you owe me one-pe!"
Pegitan floated to Chiyu and Rabirin did the same with Nodoka before both transformed to transformation mode. The two girls walked to the final pod, with Nodoka taking the left side and Chiyu, the right.
All eight were teleported into the game and were now on a cruise ship, heading to their destination.
Star, meanwhile, turned to the viewers to explain how the board worked. "OK, while our eight cures and four fairies are on their way, let me explain how this works. This is a board that resembles Ancient China, but also has some Japanese buildings."
"A Chinese/Japanese fusion? That's an odd mix." Miyuki said.
"On the bright side, everyone's playing on an even playing field, because Japan is our home." Akane replied and all of the remaining cures and fairies agreed.
"This is also a linear board, meaning that there is only one path to the Star. It's at the top of the mountain top and the price is 10 coins." Star continued his explanation.
"Well that's cheap-keru." Rachel said. "Isn't that just going to make collecting stars easier with the low price-keru?"
"Well actually, I wasn't telling the whole truth. 10 coins is the initial price, once a team purchases it, the price will rise by 10 coins to 20, then to 30 and then to 40. However, once the star has been bought at 40, it will revert back to 10 coins." Star explained further.
"Interesting, well I would be stockpiling coins and then I would be loaded with stars." Guaiwaru confidently declared.
"Not if I purchase the stars first!" Akaoni retorted, but then he remembered something. "Hold on, what are the Bowser Time events for this board, Star?"
"What's Bowser Time-nya?" Nyatoran questioned.
"Bowser Time is an event exclusive to Mario Party 7," Miyuki replied. "After a turn concludes, Bowser's head will fill up 20% of the way. Once it's full, well, bad things will happen on the board."
"Like what?" Latte asked, slightly fearful.
"A forced group photo where afterwards Bowser steals either 10 or 20 coins from everyone and doesn't show it afterwards, to give one example." Star replied.
"OK. Is that the only one for this board?" Asumi asked.
"Nope, this board has three other events. Firstly, Bowser will destroy one of the shops and replace it with a shop of his own. The first person who visits will be forced to buy either a Golden Bowser statue or a Koopa Kid Orb, which is quickly taken from the person who bought it. Secondly, Bowser will jump from high up and destroy one of the bridges, for the rest of the turn, no one can pass by." Star explained and Hinata seemed to have had a question.
"What if you roll high enough to get past the bridge? What happens then?"
"If someone rolls high enough to get by the bridge, then they will stop on the space before the bridge. Which could be a good or a bad thing." Star responded. "Lastly, Bowser will jump high up and land on the ground, causing a shockwave that sends unexpecting players down the mountain. Strategically, this could be good if someone else is about to get the star. Now, we need to talk about one last thing, bonus stars. However, I feel like Yayoi and the rest of the Grand Canal players should tell you about that."
The cast who weren't present for that board, not counting those in the game, turned to the 4 players for Grand Canal. Akaoni spoke up first.
"OK, the first thing that you need to know is that the bonus stars in this game are random, meaning that the in-game players have to keep track of them. In our game there were 3 bonus stars that were active."
Wolfrun followed up by saying, "Firstly, there is the minigame star, this is usually awarded to the player who collected the most coins in the minigames. Just to be clear, only the end-of-turn minigames count, so if you have to land on a space to trigger it, then it won't count."
Miyuki, who won the board, spoke next. "Then, there is the Action star, which is given to the participant who landed on the most Happening spaces, or the green ? spaces."
"Lastly, of the three that were awarded, was the Running star given to whoever moved the most spaces. However, Candy and Joker told the four of us the 3 bonus stars that could've been picked but weren't." Yayoi said and the order went the opposite direction.
"The first one that they told us was the Red Star, apparently given to whoever landed on the most red spaces, so you would've had to be really unlucky." Miyuki explained first.
"Then, there was the Shopping Star, requiring a person to buy items at the shop. Before you ask, the Bowser shop event counts to the Star so it could come in handy." Wolfrun explained next.
"Lastly," Akaoni stated, "there is the Orb Star, which is where the items in this game come into play. Since this star is awarded to the player who used the most orbs, it's expected that you use as many as you can. Got all that?"
Everyone responded in the affirmative then turned to the screen. The full board appeared, showcasing how tall the mountain was. The camera panned down to the start of the board, where Toadsworth stood. The girls jumped to the start and turned to the old Toad, who was ready to exposit.
"Welcome to Pagoda Peak! This mountain is 4,000 years old! You can just smell the history." Toadsworth said as the girls, and the hidden fairies, stared at the massive mountain shocked.
"Wow! That's tall. Maybe I should've backed out while I had the chance." Nao thought, fearful. Her acrophobia was showing but a look towards Reika caused her to think better of it. "On second thought, I don't want to abandon Reika."
Meanwhile, Nodoka noticed the tree branch sticking out of one of the walls and some gongs before looking at her partner. Whispering softly, she said "Chiyu, is Pegitan going to be okay?"
"I'm not sure. I'll check on him before we have our first turn." the sporty girl whispered back.
Toadsworth asked if any of them wanted to learn how to play on the board and he was met with eight yes responses. "Right! Head for the mountaintop as you follow the single trail of Pagoda Peak. If you manage to reach the top, Master Koopa will sell you a Star."
The camera panned to the top of the Mountain, where an old Koopa Troopa stood. "The price of a Star is 10 coins. Er, well…that's the price at first, you see. Every time someone reaches the peak, the price will go up. Right dreadful, that." As Toadsworth spoke, the price indicator at the top of the mountain rose from its starting price at 10 to 20 then to 30 and finally to 40. "Yes, it jumps to 20 coins… And then 30 coins… And so on…"
The camera panned back to Toadsworth and the girls and he said "But a Star will never be more than 40 coins! I'll bet my dinner on it! Oh, and do stay on your guard. That scoundrel Bowser is out there somewhere!" At the mention of Bowser, most of the girls had determined expressions, either in winning or in proving themselves.
"Right! Now hit those Dice Blocks to decide who goes first!" Toadsworth announced and dice blocks appeared over Reika, Alice, Akira and Nodoka's heads.
Reika was first to jump and received a 3, Akira earned a 10, basically locking in her and Yukari going first, Alice jumped next and received a 2 and lastly, after waiting to see if she could time it, Nodoka jumped and received a 5.
"We now have the playing order. Akira and Yukari of Team KiraKira go first!" Toadsworth announced and Ira quickly turned to Star immediately.
"Star, please tell me you didn't go with the names I think you did. Please don't tell me you went with the cures group team names." Ira pleaded.
"Oh, but I did. Besides, it fits the best of all the names." Star replied, causing Ira to pout. Anyway, on screen, Akira and Yukari's indicator took the top left and made their associating color red. The other teams and colors were confirmed as well.
"Nodoka and Chiyu of Team Healin' Good go next! Reika and Nao of Team Smile get to play after that! And finally, Alice and Mana of Team DokiDoki!" Toadsworth said, thus the colors of blue (Healin' Good), green (Smile) and yellow (DokiDoki) were confirmed. As for the logos on the indicators, those were the identifying mark for each season.
"Now I've got a gift for you… Here are 10 coins each!" Toadsworth said and handed over the 10 coins to each group. However, before the board could kick off, a certain someone appeared.
"Grrr! Don't move a muscle! This party doesn't start until BOWSER says so!" Bowser boomed before throwing three Koopa Kid orbs out. One landed on a red space between a blue space and an orb dispenser. Another one landed on a blue space between the lone Bowser space and a red space and the last one landed between a blue space and a DK space.
"Bwah ha ha ha ha ha! This board needs Koopa Kid Spaces! There's 3 for ya! Now you can contend with that! Man, I'm so evil! I love it!" Bowser stated before leaving.
It was officially the kickoff, to the 4th and final board of the day!
GAME: Mario Party 7
BOARD: Pagoda Peak
MINIGAMES PLAYED: N/A
PLACEMENT: 1st ALL (10 coins)
TURN COUNT: 1/20 Bowser Time Charge 0%

Number 4 is alive! This is a more linear board but a more high scoring one as well. With 8 characters, I'm going to be busy working to get things right. Now the team emblems are the season specific symbols, with the background colors matching the cures respective colors. As for the cures, well: (By turn order)
Akira: A bar of chocolate with the hint of dog ears on a ruby-red background.
Yukari: On a lilac background, a macron with the hint of cat ears.
Nodoka: A rose, a sunflower and a tulip, plus her flower hair clip in civilian form, on a pink background.
Chiyu: A royal blue teardrop that matches the color of the Water Element Bottle on a cyan background.
Reika: An Ice sculpture designed to look like a daisy on a blue background.
Nao: Red and orange leaves blown in the wind to form an "M" on a peridot background.
Alice: Already listed, but if you need a refresher, an array of roses in the shape of a clover on a golden background.
Mana: A pink heart with a yellow-ish center coloration on a rose-pink background.
And, even if they aren't participating, Pegitan and Rabirin have their own emblems as well. Charle and Lance's are known by this point, so I'll reveal them now.
Rabirin: A rose without thorns on a lighter-pink background.
Pegitan: A sapphire blue rain drop on a royal blue background.
Before I sign off, I just wanted to remind everyone to review my stories. What's next for me? Well, since we have four groups I wanted to reference the other stuff that Mario has done so (OMAKE: Dream Snowboard Cross- Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games Style):
It was a great day to showcase her skills, Nao said. Make everyone else impressed with you, Yayoi said. Looking back, she probably made the wrong decision.
Miyuki was at the fabled Radical Highway for the Dream Snowboard Cross event, with her snowboard under her feet. She was at the very top of the opening bridge and, having trained for this moment for quite some time, Miyuki was initially confident at doing well. Well, that was until she got a glimpse at her opponents.
Looking to her right was Mana Aida, a class act at snowboarding from a young age. If Mana seemed scared, it wasn't showing on her face. Miyuki knew that Mana was one of the better snowboarders having claimed 3 gold medals in the olympics. Defeating her was going to be harder than David beating Goliath.
"If that was the only thing that I had to worry about, I'd be a little worried. Unfortunately," Miyuki thought as she turned to the left, "I just had to draw the 2nd and 3rd best female snowboarders in Japan. So, you can't really blame me for internally fangirling and freaking out at the same time."
Miyuki wasn't wrong in thinking that either. Her other adversaries were Nodoka Hanadera and Ichika Usami. Ichika, while mostly known for her being a legendary patissier, actually spent some of her free time snowboarding, earning 2 gold medals and a silver medal as well. Nodoka, meanwhile, got a late start to focus on her health, but when she recovered, she managed to earn a couple gold medals as well.
Miyuki gulped internally. How was she going to win this event with 3 snowboarding superstars surrounding her? All she had to do now was hope for a fairy tale ending. Grabbing on to her starting gate, with her opponents doing the same. She sighed and waited for the fun to start. After a countdown, it was time to start.
Play Vengeance is Mine for Radical Highway (Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games)
With a hasty start, Miyuki managed to time getting off the blocks, but so did everyone else. Upon landing, Mana quickly activated her boost, being an array of yellow and pink hearts as she dashed forward. Miyuki hopped on a rail and leaped off while both Nodoka and Ichika battled for placement. Upon landing, Miyuki claimed an item for herself and both Nodoka and Mana claimed the other boxes.
"I'm going left, it's faster and allows me to use my boost at the most opportune time." Our fairy-tale loving protagonist thought as she and Mana went left and both Ichika and Nodoka went right, taking the speed boosts on the ground as they did.
After the loop ended, Miyuki activated her boost, shooting forward as if she was a missle from a rocket launcher, while Nodoka ended up clipping one of the robots on the course, getting snow all over herself in the process.
Reaching the springs portion results in the participants using their items, with one of them in particular, Miyuki, using her item: the Sonic speed shoes. This speeds things up for her allowing her to use one of the two speed boosts, making it across the gap with both Mana and Ichika behind her. Landing in the snow, Ichika activated her boost: a fast paced speed dash that ended with a flourish. Nodoka activated her item, a starman!
Allowing her to have a minor speed boost and with being impervious to damage, Nodoka, after making it across the gap, overtook Mana for 3rd and was primed to chase Ichika in hopes of getting 2nd place as well. Nodoka then activated her dash, being a one foot spin move.
Miyuki looked ahead at what was next: three different grind rails that lead to a big jump. With a hidden smirk, she jumped onto a rail to collect some rings for herself, having 4 of them then jumped off it and jumped over the big jump set up. However, a sudden electrical shock sent her rolling in the snow with a yelp. With it also happening to Ichika and Nodoka, this was Mana's item.
"That never gets any easier to deal with." The fairy-tale lover commented, counting her lucky stars that none of the snow ended up happening to enter her mouth this time(don't ask.). Knowing that she can't lollygag or the experts behind her would catch up, she quickly took off, as Nodoka was on the chase. Both girls weren't certain if what they heard from behind was a spitting noise, but they did hear Mana behind them with Ichika behind her.
With hard swerves left and right, making sure no one caught up, the next major part was famous bridges for Radical Highway. There looked to be two spring sets and some rings on the bridges. "Do I take advantage of a path to reach first place, or do I go down the path that everyone else is going down? I think the experts will be taking the advantage, so I'm gonna have to follow suit." Miyuki thought as she took the spring and landed on the rail on the left. Nodoka, like Miyuki's thoughts, took the right side.
Holding her balance was what she focused on the most, a single lapse and she could end up in the snow below. Collecting the rings as she passed them, also served to be something to do as she would get more charge to her dash move. Cresting at the top, both her and Nodoka would shoot down the second bridge, while Mana and Ichika were still behind. "I'm definitely going to need another item just in case."
Jumping off the end into a nearby sign, Miyuki landed looking to see if any item boxes were in the vicinity of her. Luckily for her, there were three exiting into the next portion, so she took that one and went down. However, Nodoka activated her boost and had taken first place from her, so she had to hope she had a good item.
Miyuki looked over what was left and noting an upcoming big jump, and getting the lighting as her item, knew that she only had one shot to pull it off. After getting by many smaller ramps and seeing Nodoka, she used the lighting, which knocked Nodoka down, used the big ramp and after landing, used her boost, which propelled her to the finish line. All of her training had paid off!
Finish
"Yes!" Miyuki exclaimed as she smiled, knowing that she had won, Nodoka was next to finish and looked over towards the victorious girl.
"Great job! You truly deserve this achievement in getting 1st in your first race." Nodoka complimented the victorious snowboarder.
Later, a podium was set up showing that while Miyuki had won and 2nd went to Nodoka, 3rd was taken by Mana. It was here that the girls were given their medals, with Miyuki happily accepting her 1st placing medal. It was long, arduous training, but it paid off majorly!
See you when the board starts!
