Chapter 1: Journey to the West:
Jade's POV:
My Daddy and I were at the store.
"Hey, look," says my Daddy, "it looks like the Monkey King."
"Monkey King. Would you like to know the real story of that primate?"
"We actually have to get ready for Chinese New Year," says my Daddy, "plus we don't know y..."
"Here is the story!"
Story:
Centuries ago, the Five Elements have nourished a stone, but this was a strange stone, for out of it came a monkey. The monkey observed the world around him.
"This was a mistake," says Fire, "we just made some dumb monkey!"
"Patients, Brother Fire," says Earth, "I believe he could be capable of great things."
"He's throwing poop at the other monkeys," says Water.
"You... have a point, Sister Water," says Earth.
"I also have a bad feeling about this monkey," says Wood.
"You have been wrong before, Sister Wood," says Earth.
"And you are too trusting, Brother Earth," says Metal.
"Perhaps, Brother Metal, but we should at least give this monkey a chance," says Earth, "he might have a long journey ahead of him."
