Chapter 4: The Disciples:

Story:

Tang Sanzang knew what he must do, but to do this, he needed some help.

. . .

First, he recruited was the river spirit, Sha Wujing. A bloodthirsty demon.

"I remember you," says Sha Wujing.

"Excuse me," asks Tang Sanzang.

"I have devoured your past reincarnations," says Sha Wujing, "these are the dry bones from when I twice before devoured you, monk!"

"Then it is time for payback," says Tang Sanzang.

The two then fought. Sha Wujing has the upper hand, but then Tang Sanzang managed to defeat him.

"What do you desire," asks Sha Wujing.

"Your help," says Tang Sanzang.

. . .

Next is the creature known as Pigsy.

"What do you know about this Pigsy," asks Tang Sanzang.

"They say he was commander-in-chief of 80,000 Celestial sailors. However, he was later banished for misbehavior. At a party organized for all the significant figures in Heaven, he saw the goddess of the Moon for the first time and was captivated by her beauty. Following a drunken attempt to seduce her, she reported this to the Jade Emperor and thus he was banished to Earth. He was then reincarnated into a man-eating pig-monster."

The two then saw some villagers, panicking. "Is there a problem," asks Tang Sanzang.

"My daughter has been kidnapped and the abductor demands me to allow him to marry her," says the elder.

"Describe this abductor," says Tang Sanzang.

. . .

The two find Pigsy's lair.

"Soon, your father will give in, and you will become my bride," says Pigsy.

"Never," says the Elder's Daughter, "you're a monster! I can't stand the sight of you!"

"Then you're going to have to get used to it!"

"Now, that is no way to treat a lady," says Tang Sanzang.

Pigsy then charges at the two, but Tang Sanzang and Sha Wujing manage to overpower him and defeat him.

. . .

Everyone cheers. "What are you going to do with me now," asks Pigsy.

"You are coming with us," says Tang Sanzang.

. . .

There is still one more the three must recruit.

"I have heard stories about him," says Pigsy.

"Is it any worse than what you two have done," asks Tang Sanzang. Tang Sangzang then removes the talisman, and they see him. "Monkey, we have released you! Are you ready to join our journey to the west?"

"I have awoken with peace in my heart," says Monkey King, "and you wish for me... to fight?"

"Well... yest, but-"

The Monkey King then laughs. "Come on, Stick, the world needs us!"

"Oh no," says Tang Sangzang.
