Chapter 3: Unlucky:
Tommy's POV:
We were walking down the streets of Fortune City.
"So, what are we going to do, Grandpa," asks Angelica.
"I'll let you know when I get to it," says Grandpa.
Then these police officers came. "Lou Pickles and Hap McSweeney?"
"That's us," says Grandpa, "why?"
"You two are under arrest for trying to rob Harry Houlihan!"
. . .
Grandpa and Hap are now in jail.
"Great, now how are we gonna get home," asks Angelica.
"We have to get the pot of gold back for Hap and clear his and Grandpa's names," I said.
"And keep the gold," says Angelica. We all looked at her. "I mean... ah, you guys should've expected it."
. . .
We then returned to Mr. Hula-Hula's house.
"Come on," I said, "we have to find a way in."
Houlihan's POV:
Well... this is unexpected. A group of toddlers are sneaking in, trying to get my gold. I'll have to keep them out.
Tommy's POV:
All the doors and windows were locked. "We need to find a way to enter a lucky guy's house," I said.
"Easier said than done," says Dil.
"What are you doing," asks this security man.
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... we're trying to get into Mr. Hula-Hula's house," says Chuckie.
"Well, you kids are doing it wrong! What you should do is knock me out and take my keys!"
We just looked at each other. "Can you show us," asks Angelica.
"Okay but pay attention." He then knocked himself out and we took his keys.
Houlihan's POV:
Not even luck can prepare for an idiot. But lucky for me, I still have other tricks.
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, the kids go through Houlihan's lair.
